Sharks!! Yes...SHARKS. And yes, you CAN see them from the boat. It's wild to see such majestic creatures in their natural habitat. You go a few miles offshore for this trip so it does get choppy. We did an early morning tour which has calmer ocean conditions than the later tours. And I am so glad we did! We only had a super light breakfast before going out (think a bit of fruit, light bites only).

8 ziplines, 2 rappels, and 3 sky bridges. This course has the longest zipline on Oahu with one of the zips being 1/2 mile long. I loved having ocean views throughout the ziplining experience. There were water stations throughout the course. We did the afternoon zipline and I'm so glad I wore plenty of sunscreen! Prepare to work up a sweat as you go throughout the course. There's stairs for some of the zipline platforms. Overall, really nice ocean views, friendly staff & had a blast!

I booked the earliest time, but I was informed that it was already full, so I was able to book the 11:30 slot instead. It seems to be a popular tour! However, the pickup time remained the same, and I ended up having to kill about two hours at a Croatian lunch. If I could have joined another tour during that time, it would have been a ★5 experience.

I really enjoyed the horseback riding. The two hours of riding were great, but by the end, my rear and legs were a bit sore. It would have been even better if there had been some talk about Jurassic Park along the way. Still, the breathtaking views are something you don't get to see often. The mountains and the sea were absolutely stunning.

1番早い時間を申し込んだのですが既に一杯との連絡があり、その後の11:30に申し込めました。人気のツアーのようです♡でも、送迎時間は変わらずで結局クロアチアランチで約2時間も時間を潰さなければいけませんでした。その間他のツアーに参加出来たら★5だったんですけどね。
乗馬は満喫出来ました。たっぷり2時間の乗馬で最後は少しお尻や足が辛かったです。本当は途中でジュラシックパークのお話とかがあればもっと良かったんですけどネ。でも、あの絶景はなかなか見ることは出来ません。山も海も素晴らしい景色でした。

We had such an extraordinary experience in the Polynesian Culture Center. We enjoyed the live performances, learned the history and culture of various polynesian groups, and enjoyed the food! Had a wonderful day!

I participated in a horseback riding experience. I was a bit anxious because I couldn't understand much of the staff's explanations in English upon arrival, but I managed to get through it. There was one Japanese staff member who was very helpful at that time. When you participate in the experience, they lend you items to put your phone, wallet, passport, and water in, so that's not a problem. You can leave any other unnecessary luggage in a locker. The rental fee for the locker is $5, and you can take things in and out as many times as you need, so it's a good idea to store your items before the horseback riding experience.

After that, we watched a video explanation in Japanese before moving on to the horseback riding. The horse handling is easy, and the horses are smart, so I don't think you need to worry too much. The horseback riding experience lasts for two hours, but sitting on the horse for that long can make your backside quite sore, so it might be good to have something like a towel to ease the pressure. Other than that, it was incredibly fun.

There is about two hours of time before and after the riding starts, but if you look at the horses or shop for souvenirs, the time passes quickly.

乗馬体験に参加しました。
到着してからスタッフの説明などが英語であまり意味を理解する事ができず不安でしたがなんとかなりました。1人だけ日本人スタッフがいたのでその時はとても頼りになりました。常備体験をするときは、携帯、財布、パスポートや水など入れる物を貸してくれるので大丈夫です。その他の不要な荷物はロッカーに預けられます。ロッカーのレンタル料は5ドルです。何回でも出し入れ出来ますので乗馬体験の前に預けましょう。
その後は日本語ビデオの説明を見て乗馬体験に移ります。馬の操作も簡単で馬も賢いのであまり心配はいらないと思います。2時間の乗馬体験ですが、2時間も馬に座っているとお尻がとても痛くなるので何かタオルなどお尻に負担がかからないのがあったらいいかもしれません。その他は最高に楽しいです。
乗馬開始前と開始後は前後2時間くらい時間がありますが馬とかお土産とか見ていればあっという間に時間が経ちました。

It started with a great day, very little wind which made the water very calm. Boat rode out was smooth, and finally arriving to the cage we were immediately greeted with sharks, and not just any sharks but 3 TIGER SHARKS!!. I know that TIGERS are rare for the area but the fact that 3 were there for the entire dive was amazing. The crew were awesome in ensuring that everyone was calm and answered any questions. I definitely recommend and would love to dive again

I was anxious about riding a horse suddenly, but the horse was smart, and I was able to ride comfortably. The magnificent Kualoa Ranch and the beautiful ocean were just amazing.

One small disappointment was that we couldn't understand English, so we couldn't grasp everything the staff was saying. However, I am grateful to the horse and the staff for doing their best to guide us.

If we can go to Hawaii again, this is definitely a tour I would like to experience once more.

いきなりの乗馬で不安でしたが　馬さんが賢くて　安心して乗って行けました。壮大なクアロアランチ、きれいな海　もう最高でした。
　少し残念なのは　自分達が英語を理解出来ずスタッフの方がいっぱい話してくれた事も理解出来なかった事。
　でも　そんな私たちを精一杯引っ張ってくれて馬さんとスタッフの方に感謝です。
　次回もハワイに行けたら是非再度行きたいツアーです。

The canoe ride was so fun!!! The luau did not have alcoholic bevs tho :(

Surf bus instructor, Kevin was very informative- he gave us info to places that we must see and foods/places to eat at.
Enjoyed snorkeling wish we would of seen turtles though. Kayaking time was limited we had to go back to the bus to head back to Waikiki. We did get to visit the small towns on our way to North Shore that grows fresh vegetable and fruits, I think the two stops caused us to use up time on the water activities.

Be weary, you could be there for a long time before getting up on your flight, however once your up it is AMAZING. The jumpers are so safe and know exactly what they are doing!

The tour was absolutely amazing. Guides were both friendly and knowledgeable, and the sharks came in great numbers.

Be aware that staying in the cage takes a bit more effort than you think, but everyone on our trip managed just fine.

Bring a bag for your phone so you can take some underwater pictures.

The crew was wonderful! We saw dolphins on the way out there which was a nice addition to the shark tour. When we got out to the cage we were met by about 8 sharks that stuck around the entire time we were in the cage. When we were about to leave we were able to get back into the cage because a tiger shark had approached so we got a look at her for a bit.

We participated as a group of four. When we arrived at the reception, we were shocked to find that there was no reservation under our name. Upon investigation, we discovered that although we had received a confirmation email, our reservation had somehow been changed the day before, and the day of the event was fully booked. Initially, we were told that we could not participate.

However, they made various adjustments for us and created a private group for just the four of us, resulting in a very enjoyable experience with three instructors dedicated to us. It was our first time zip-lining, but there was no fear, and including the trial run, we enjoyed eight lines so much that we lost track of time.

Please note that the instructions were given in quite fast English. We had someone in our group who was fluent in English, so it wasn't a problem for us, but there are a few points to be aware of:
- Each time, you start by standing on a small platform while the instructor prepares you.
- Do not touch the wire.
- At one point, just before the finish, if you feel like you are about to stop, grab the red rope at the instructor's signal (grabbing it beforehand will activate the brake).

4名で参加しました。受付にいくとまさかの予約がないという状況でした。
調べていただいたら、事前確認メールもきていたのになぜか前日に変更されており、もう当日は予約でいっぱい。最初はもうできないと言われました。

しかしながら、色々と調整してくれて、我々４人だけのグループを組んでくれて、結果インストラクター３名を独占する形でとても楽しい経験ができました。
ジップラインは初めてでしたが、怖さもなくトライアルの１本含めて８本時間が経つのを忘れるぐらい楽しめました。

なお、英語はかなり早く、我々は同伴者に英語が堪能な人がいたので問題なかったですが、いくつか気を付ける点があるのでご注意ください。
・毎回最初に小さい台の上に乗ってインストラクターに準備してもらう
・ワイヤーはさわならい
・途中からですが、ゴール直前で止まりそうになったら、インストラクターの合図で赤いロープをつかむ（その前につかむとブレーキかかってしまう）

I rode a horse for the first time in my life, and it seemed very well-trained, so I didn't feel scared at all! The sea and mountains were incredibly beautiful, and time flew by in nature. Just looking back at the photos I took brings back such joyful memories.

During the drive to the North Shore, the local guide shared fascinating stories in Japanese about Hawaii's development history and geographical features! They even listened to traffic updates on the radio and planned the best route, making it a very meaningful experience!

Now, I want to go on the canyon plan next.

生まれて初めて馬に乗りましたが、とてもよく調教されているようで
怖い思いをすることが全くありませんでした！
海も山もとてもきれいで、自然の中で時間があっという間に過ぎました。
撮った写真を見返すだけで楽しい気持ちが思い出されます。

ノースショアまでの車内も、現地のガイドさんが日本語で
ハワイの発展の歴史や地理的特徴など
ずっと興味深い話をしてくれました！
しかもラジオの交通情報を聞いて最適なルートを考えてくれたりと
とても有意義な時間が過ごせました！

次は渓谷プランに行きたくなりました。

Disappointed that the falls was not flowing, but the Luau was great. Learning about the hawaiian culture was interesting. The food was delicious and plentiful. The show was fabulous. You will not be disappointed.

I participated alone!
There were few Japanese tourists, but the staff explained things in simple Japanese, so I didn't have any major concerns!
There are small coin lockers ($1) available, so I put my valuables there!
I was very moved to be able to fly with such a wonderful view!

One downside is the access.
You can get to the skydiving location from Waikiki by Uber or rental car, but there are very few options for getting back to Waikiki or the North Shore from the skydiving site. So, I recommend renting a car.

For the skydiving photos, there were two options:
- Staff members taking selfies with Apple Watches
- Staff taking photos with a GoPro from the front
Each option costs nearly $200.

I didn't take photos this time, but I would like to take them next time!

日本人の観光客は少なかったですが、スタッフの方が簡単な日本語で説明してくださったので、大きな不安はありませんでした！
荷物は、小さなコインロッカー(1ドル)があるので、そこに貴重品を入れました！
素晴らしい景色で飛ぶことができてとても感動しました！

一つ難点が、アクセスです。
ワイキキからスカイダイビングの場所はUberやレンタカーで行けるのですが、帰りのスカイダイビング上からのワイキキやノースショアの市内へのアクセスが物凄ごく少ないです。なので、レンタカーをお勧めします。

スカイダイビングの写真は、
・スタッフの方々がアップルウォッチでセルフ撮影
・スタッフが正面でゴープロ撮影
の二パターンありました。
それぞれ200ドル近くかかります。

今回、写真は撮影しませんでしたが、次回は撮影したいと思います！

The canyon horseback riding has chosen a coastal course for its renewal. It's the best view while looking at a local beach that's different from Waikiki! The horses are well-trained and very smart.

In a small group, there were two couples, including us, on their honeymoon. The actual experience starts with just a simple lecture before getting on the horses. There’s no practice, just a full-time horseback riding experience!? They will take photos for you, but if you want to capture moments while riding, it's handy to have a strap to hang around your neck.

Also, the horseback riding experience is divided into two sessions. If you make a last-minute reservation, you might be assigned to the second session. The second session makes it a bit tricky to explore Haleiwa, so if you want to enjoy Haleiwa as well, I recommend booking early. If you want to eat garlic shrimp without waiting, the first session might be better!

Since I had a packed schedule afterward, I got dropped off near Ala Moana. The driver, Kaz, was very helpful. I had a wonderful experience!

Next time, I want to participate in the canyon horseback riding. Thank you!

渓谷乗馬がリニューアルのため海辺のコースを選択しました。ワイキキとはまた違ったローカルなビーチを眺めながら、最高の景色です！
良く調教された馬ちゃんで、とってもお利口です。
少人数のグループで、私達も含めハネムーナの2組。
実際の体験は簡単なレクチャーだけで乗馬スタートです。
練習などはなく、フルタイム乗馬体験！？
写真も撮ってくれますが、乗馬中を撮影したいなら、首から下げたストラップがあると便利です。
また、乗馬体験は入れ替えの2部制です。予約がギリギリだと2部にまわされます。
2部だと、ハレイワの町の散策がビミョーなので、ハレイワも楽しみたい人は早めの予約をオススメします。
ガーリックシュリンプを待たずに食べたい人は1部の方がいいかも！

次の予定がつまっていたので、アラモアナの近くで下車させてもらいました。
ドライバーのカズさんも色々とお世話になりました。とても良い体験ができました！

次回は渓谷乗馬に参加したいです。

We had a great time, celebrated our anniversary! The family that hosted the luau was wonderful and we were impressed with every aspect of the luau. If you are staying on Waikiki beach, be prepared for an hour drive to get there. We didn’t account for that length of time so we didn’t get to appreciate the hiking available beforehand.

We enjoyed this so much. It took a couple hours to calm down from the excitement of being so close to majestic sharks. Our guides were so friendly and provided a lot of information and guidance. We felt very safe during the entire experience. We also had enough time to enjoy the sharks and it never felt rushed. We saw about 10 sharks that swam calmly around the cage. We were lucky to see some dolphins on the trip back too!

Horses are so kind and the guides know a ton of history on the farm!

We started our trip in this fantastic, beautiful bus. Our driver Kalani was the most knowledgeable and personable guide we could ever want. He knew all about the sites. The history, the traditions, and the Hawaiian language for everything. He also knew how to keep us on a schedule but with plenty of time to enjoy each stop. I can’t express how much more having him for a guide made a difference but wouldn’t want anyone else and you will be lucky if you get Kalani.

It was my first time riding, but the horse was smart, so there were no difficult maneuvers required, and I didn't have any problems. I don't speak much English, but the instructor kept checking in to see if I was okay. They explained about the filming locations and history, so I think it would have been even more enjoyable if I understood English better. I brought a body bag, but I could have used it like a waist pouch while riding. I was able to put my smartphone and water in the provided bag.

With the shuttle service, there was about two hours of free time before and after, but I didn't feel bored as I was having lunch and looking at souvenirs. I was moved by the magnificent nature and the sea. I'm really glad my first riding experience was at Kualoa Ranch! I highly recommend this activity.

乗馬は初めてでしたが、馬が賢いので難しい操作も不要で特に問題はなかったです。英語があまり話せませんが、インストラクターの方も何度も大丈夫ですか？と気にかけてくれました。ロケ地や歴史について説明してくれていたので英語がわかるともっと楽しかったと思います。ボディバックを持っていきましたがウエストポーチのようにすれば騎乗可でした。スマホや水は貸し出しのバックに入れることができます。
送迎付きだと前後2時間弱空き時間がありましたが、ランチをしたりお土産をみたりしていたので、持て余すことはなかったです。
壮大な自然と海を見ることができ感動しました。初めての乗馬がクアロアランチで本当に良かった！おすすめのアクティビティです。

Our guide was phenomenal!! Really felt like ohana! Beautiful scenery and learned lots about the history! Even stopped at a gorgeous campground with fantastic views! Make sure you bring some glasses, you will get VERY dirty everywhere!

Unlike in Japan, there is no one to pull the horse for you, so you have to move the horse yourself. However, since the horses are trained, they will follow the horse of the staff member in front of you.

Being a private beach, the sea was very beautiful.

The horseback riding guide only speaks English, but during the bus ride to the location, the guide explains how to ride and control the horse, so even beginners or those who are not confident in English can feel at ease.

I’m really glad I experienced this. It became my best memory from my time in Hawaii.

日本と違い、馬を引っ張ってくれる方はついておらず、自分たちで馬を移動させるといったイメージです。が調教されているので、前にいるスタッフさんの馬に勝手について行ってくれます。
プライベートビーチということもあり、海がとてもきれいでした。
乗馬のガイドさんは英語のみの対応ですが、行きのバスでガイドさんから日本で乗り方や馬の動かし方など伝えてくれるので、初心者、英語苦手な方でも安心してできます。
体験して本当によかったです。ハワイにいた時間一番の思い出になりました。

We had a fantastic day on our tour. It just so happened that me and my daughter were the only people signed up on the day of our tour. Our guide Stephanie was absolutely fantastic, fun loving and easy going with her knowledge of the island. We started at the Halona blowhole and found out the beach nearby was used in the movie “From Here to Eternity”. Lunch at the Kahuku Sugar Mill with a smorgasbord of food trucks should be able to satisfy any hunger. The recommendation of Giovanni’s for garlic prawns by Stephanie was spot on, they were delicious.
With great anticipation of seeing turtles on the sand at Haleiwa Beach Park we were slightly disappointed. It was great we were able to see them in the water occasionally bobbing their heads up for air.
The last stop at Dole Plantation was great, it is where we tasted our first Dole Whip which was absolutely delicious.
I would recommend this tour to give you a better idea about the Oahu Island and the different experiences available to you.

The host was funny and great knowledge about his own culture and traditions. It’s our first time so I wouldn’t be able to compare with other Luau. The show was about the different Polynesian cultures dance so just not only about the fire dance that gets everyone excited. It shows you the dance and the cultures. The Waimea fall is not flowing right now secondary the drought, ( last time occurred in 1992) so my family was little disappointed that couldn’t see the fall and swim in the pond. Look at bright side, this doesn’t happen all the time and I got to see a waterfall without water. Wished there was some warning ahead and I would have planned differently. Otherwise it was still a nice trail for family to walk.

When I was a child, I watched an American TV drama featuring skydivers and had always dreamed of skydiving. I never thought I would actually get to experience it. When I visited Hawaii over 30 years ago, this activity didn't even exist yet. Since then, there have been more TV programs in Japan introducing this activity, and tandem skydiving airports have opened domestically, but I had always decided that if I were to jump, it would be in the skies of Hawaii. This month, just 10 months before the age limit, I had the opportunity to go to Hawaii and immediately signed up without hesitation. Just before the experience, I felt no anxiety, only excitement. The result? It was simply the best feeling ever! Although my acquaintances and friends are quite astonished by it.

子供の頃、スカイダイバーが活躍するアメリカ製のTVドラマを見て、ずっと憧れていたスカイダイビング。自分が体験出来るとは思ってもいませんでした。以前、ハワイを訪れた時(30年以上前)には、まだ存在しなかったアクティビティでしたし。その後、日本でこのアクティビティを紹介するTV番組も増え、また国内でもタンデムが出来る空港も出来ましたが、やはり飛ぶならハワイの空と決めていました。年齢制限まであと10か月の今月、ハワイに行く機会に恵まれ、迷わず真っ先に申し込みました。体験直前もハラハラドキドキは全く無く、ワクワクが止まらない状態でした。結果はもう、気分最高！の一言。知人、友人には呆れられてはいますが。

The basic English support was available, but there was also a Japanese explanation video for horseback riding, which I watched, so even though it was my first time riding, I quickly understood how to ride.
You wear a helmet while riding. You can leave your luggage in a locker and bring valuables and drinks with you (they lend you a pouch).
I was very satisfied with the experience as I could enjoy the scenery of both mountains and the sea in the great outdoors. The horses were also very well-behaved. It was a bit disappointing that the instructor's explanations about the location were often too far away to hear, but they took several photos for me and sent them to my smartphone. For lunch, I had fish and chips at the café inside Kualoa. It was delicious. I had some concerns after reading reviews that mentioned having too much free time, but I ended up not having enough time as I was busy looking at souvenirs.

基本英語対応ですが、乗馬の際の説明ビデオは日本語もあり、そちらの映像を見せていただいたので初めての乗馬でしたが乗り方はすぐに理解できました。
乗馬の際はヘルメットを被ります。荷物はロッカーに預けて、貴重品と飲み物を持参できます。(ポシェット貸してくれます)
大自然の中で山と海両方の景色が楽しめて大満足です。お馬さんたちもお利口さんでした。インストラクターの場所等の説明が遠くて聞こえないことが多々あったのがちょっと残念でしたが、、、何枚か写真も撮っていただきスマホに送っていただけました。ランチはクアロアの中のカフェでfish and chipsを食べました。美味しかったです。口コミに自由時間は時間を持て余すと書かれていたのを見ていたので不安でしたが、お土産を見たり時間が足りないくらいでした。

My whole family loved this luau! The fact that it also includes entry to the park is a steal; it's beautiful! Our host was very funny and personable. I loved that they have cultural activities like showing the people attending the luau how to open coconuts, and weave leaves into a headband. The food was good, and the host was giving special shoutouts to people who were celebrating things like anniversaries, graduations, etc. The people who were doing the dances did great! Even my sister that's 3 years old was super entertained. You really get a family feel at this luau; shoutout to the 9-year old kid who was doing some fire dancing as well! It was awesome and I definitely prefer giving my money here than some random resort doing shows. The vibe is 10/10!

One of the best things I’ve ever done. The captain and her mate were exceptional! They talked us through our fears, educated us about the sharks, and we got to see sharks- loaaads of sharks! Right there. I’m all their beauty. I highly recommend this tour to anyone thinking about it - just do it. Nothing to fear. All safe and just an experience of a lifetime!
