We got to see so many local places and we got to try some foods we definitely would not have seen in Waikiki! We loved a day away from the hotel guided by a local!

We enjoyed the ride! There was two of us on the trip and it was so pleasant. It rained briefly but didn’t stop us. The guide was knowledgeable and very friendly. We will definitely tell our friends about it and do it again when we come back. Thank you!!! Mahalo!

It was the best experience. The two-hour horseback riding was fulfilling, taking us from the ocean side of Kualoa Ranch through the plateau where Jurassic World was filmed. We formed a group of six, with the guide leading us in a single file. This time, we were in a group with two couples from America and Australia. Throughout the two hours, the guide moved to the front, the middle, and the back, carefully following each person. It was my first time riding for such a long duration, and I was nervous at first, but the guide's support allowed me to ride with peace of mind. At some point, I felt a connection with the horse, and I couldn't help but find it adorable. Before the ride, the guide mounted a horse and explained how to ride. (Japanese participants are shown a Japanese video without needing to request it.)

Due to age restrictions, I went ahead to Kualoa Ranch with my older child for horseback riding, and in the afternoon, I met up with my husband and younger child to enjoy the buggies. I saw reviews mentioning waiting for the return bus, so I arranged for transportation only for myself and my older child for the ride there, and we returned with a taxi that we had booked for the whole family. There were hamburgers and other items available at the shop. During horseback riding, you can only take drinks and a smartphone, but there is a locker available for $5 a day that allows for multiple entries and can hold about three backpacks.

2時間の乗馬は、クアロアランチの海側からジュラシックワールドの撮影場所の台地を抜けて進むという内容で充実しました。6人でグループになり、ガイドが先導し１列で進んでいきます。今回はアメリカとオーストラリアから参加したカップル2組と一緒のグループになりました。ガイドは2時間の間、前に行ったり、真ん中に入ったり、最後尾についたり、一人一人丁寧にフォローしてくれました。長時間の乗馬は初めてで最初は緊張しましたが、ガイドのフォローで安心して乗ることが出来ました。途中から馬と少し心が通じた？気がして、馬が可愛くて仕方なかったです。乗馬前には、ガイドが馬に跨り、乗馬について説明してくれます。(日本人はリクエストしなくても日本語の動画を見せられます。)
年齢制限があるため、乗馬は上の子供と一足先にクアロアランチに向かい、午後は夫と下の子供と合流し、バギーを楽しみました。
帰りのバスの時間が待つという口コミを見たので、送迎は私と上の子だけ有りで行きのみ利用し、帰りは家族全員で予約していたタクシーで帰りました。食事はハンバーガーなどが売店にありました。乗馬時は飲み物とスマホくらいしか持って行けませんが、1日5ドルで何度でも出し入れできるロッカーがあり、リュック3個くらいは入ります。

Since we were the only participants, it was truly a private tour! They really took great care of us. From their thoughtfulness to the explanations, we had a wonderful time, and in the end, they even made a special stop at the bakery we wanted to visit. It truly became a memorable day.

I had an absolutely amazing experience. The person who flew with me was wonderful, providing explanations in Japanese here and there and easing my nerves with their warm support. Additionally, they took many photos, which was another highlight for me. The view of Diamond Head and Waikiki from the sky was truly breathtaking and has become an unforgettable memory for a lifetime.

とても最高な経験をすることができました。一緒に飛んでくださった方がとても素敵な方で、ところどころ説明を日本語でしてくださったり、緊張をほぐしてくださったりと、心温まる対応をしてくださいました。

We had a great time kayaking the ocean and river. Guides were very friendly, fun, annd accommodating and kept everyone in our group safe!

I also participated in the mini tour, and the timing was just right! It was very interesting to hear about the history and culture of the North Shore area!

During my last trip to Hawaii, a friend took me on a drive along the east coast with a rental car. I wanted to see those breathtaking views again, so I searched for a tour and found this one that was perfect!

On the day of the tour, we were picked up from our hotel. The tour vehicle arrived on time. It seemed like we were the only participants, which made me feel a bit guilty, but I was secretly happy as it felt like a private tour.

As soon as we set off, our guide asked if we wanted to try malasadas. We stopped at the parking lot of Pearl Ridge Center in the Aiea area to enjoy Leonard's malasadas. After that, we visited Diamond Head, Blowhole, and Makapu'u Lookout. The view of Makapu'u Beach from the lookout, with its deep blue sea and white coastline, is something I will never forget.

At the site of the old Kahuku Sugar Mill on the North Shore, we enjoyed garlic shrimp recommended by our guide. In Haleiwa Town, we had 90 minutes of free time to explore. We visited shops I wanted to check out and had coffee at Island Vintage.

On the way back, although it wasn't part of the itinerary, we stopped by Dole, and finally, we tasted coffee at Green World Coffee Farm, which had a café on the coffee farm.

Our guide took many photos of the two of us, and we had a lot of fun conversations. It was truly an enjoyable day.

前回のハワイで、友人にレンタカーで東海岸沿いを案内してもらいました。でも、もう一度あの絶景が見たくてツアーを探すと、このツアーがピッタリ！
当日はホテルピックアップ。時間通りにツアーの車が到着。参加者が私たちだけのようで、申し訳ないようでしたが、プライベートツアーのようで、内心は嬉しかったです。
出発してすぐに、マラサダ食べたいですか？アイエア地区にあるパールリッジ・センターのパーキングに寄ってレナーズのマラサダを食べました。それから、ココヘッド、潮吹き岩やマカプウ展望台。マカプウ展望台から見たマカプウビーチは真っ青な海と白い海岸線が美しくて今も忘れられません。
ノースショアのカフクシュガーミル跡地ではガイドさんお勧めのガーリックシュリンプを食べました。ハレイワタウンでは９０分自由散策。行きたかったショップに寄ったり、アイランド・ビンテージでコーヒーを飲んだり。
帰りにはコースにはありませんでしたが、ドール寄って下さり、最後にグリーン・ワールド・コーヒー・ファームでコーヒーを試飲。そこは、カフェ併設のコーヒー農場でした。
ガイドさんに二人の写真をたくさん撮っていただき、楽しいお話も聞けて、本当に楽しい一日でした。

This was my second visit to Kualoa Ranch. Since my last visit was before COVID-19, I noticed quite a few changes, but both the café and the shop were well-stocked and enjoyable. I only participated in the horseback riding tour, so my stay was short, but I had a great time. The tour was supposed to be two hours, but I was surprised to hear it would only be an hour and a half that day, with a refund offered. However, even with just an hour and a half, the horseback riding was more than enough. The scenery you can enjoy at Kualoa Ranch is unique, so I definitely want to go back.

クアロアランチは2回目の訪問でした。
前回はコロナ前でしたのでいろいろ変わってる感じはありましたが、カフェもショップも充実していてよかったです。
私は乗馬だけのツアーでしたので滞在時間は短かったですが楽しめました。
ツアーは乗馬2時間でしたが、当日1時間半になるので返金があるとの話でびっくりしましたが1時間半でも乗馬だけなので充分でした。
この景色を堪能できるのはクアロアランチならではなので私はまた行きたいなと思います。

In addition to sightseeing in Haleiwa, I had a very valuable experience visiting the macadamia nut farm and coffee farm, which are not easy to get to! Thanks to our guide Jonah's thoughtful care and well-structured guidance, I believe we had a much more fulfilling time than if we had explored on our own.

I was a bit worried about the size of the Kahuku Sugar Mill (where we had lunch), but I was pleasantly surprised by the considerate gesture of driving us around first and then dropping us off near the store we wanted to visit.

It was truly a fun day! Thank you!

ハレイワ観光に加えて、なかなか行けないマカダミアナッツファームとコーヒーファームが回れてとても貴重な体験が出来ました！
ガイドのジョナさんのきめ細かいお心遣いと、ポイントを押さえた案内のお陰で、自分たちだけで観光するよりずっと充実した時間を過ごせたと思います。
一度行ってみたいと思っていたカフクシュガーミル（昼食）は広くて心配でしたが、先に車で一周してから入りたい店の近くに降ろしてくれるという、ちょっと感動するくらいのお気遣い！
本当に楽しい一日でした！

Tony took us around the island, pointing out major attractions and narrating the entire time. We learned interesting facts about Hawaiian culture and some about the myths and legends. I enjoyed my time in Haliewa and finally got to try Matsumoto's shave ice - definitely worth the hype! Had a great time and Tony was a very gracious host!

I signed up to go horseback riding along the beach in Haleiwa. At first, I was worried I might fall off, but thanks to the very smart horse, I got used to it quickly. It was like a dream to be able to ride for a long time along the beach. It started to rain, and my pants and hair got quite wet, but I was able to borrow a raincoat, so my upper body stayed dry. I was disappointed that my time in Haleiwa was too short; I only had time to eat lunch and visit one shop. It would be perfect if I had more time to explore Haleiwa!

ハレイワ観光と海辺で乗馬をしたくて申し込みました。乗馬は最初落ちそうで心配でしたが、とてもかしこいお馬さんのおかげですぐ慣れました。浜辺を長時間乗馬できるなんて夢のような時間でした。途中雨が降ってきてズボンや髪がかなり濡れましたが、レインコートを貸してもらえたので上半身は濡れなくてよかったです。ハレイワでの時間が短すぎて、昼ごはんを食べてお店を1軒見ただけで終わってしまい残念でした。もっとハレイワでの散策の時間が長ければ最高です！

Until now, I always felt like there wasn't enough time, but this time I was able to stay for a full five hours. It was unfortunate that the pancake shop had moved, but there was a mini tour, and the driver was a really nice person.

今まで、時間が足りないといつも感じていましたが、今回はたっぷりと５時間滞在できました。パンケーキ屋さんが移転していたのは残念でしたがミニツアーもあり運転手の方もとても良い人でした。

My husband, who is learning English conversation, made his first trip to Hawaii! Although we chose an English tour, my husband's English skills couldn't keep up... However, thanks to our cheerful and fun tour guide and driver, Patrick, we had a wonderful time. He helped us purchase tickets for the Dole Plantation, and we were able to enter smoothly. At times, he even used a translation device to explain things, which was incredibly kind and impressive. We had plenty of time in Haleiwa Town, and I was able to finally enjoy authentic garlic shrimp, as well as buy some unique souvenirs and my favorite items!

英語ツアーを選んだものの、主人の英会話力ではついていかれず…でも、ツアーガイド&ドライバーのパトリックさんの明るく楽しいガイドのおかげで、とっても素敵な時間を過ごせました。
ドール農園のチケット購入時も手伝っていただき無事に入園、時に、翻訳機能を利用して説明してくれたりと、本当に親切な対応で感激しました。
ハレイワタウンもたっぷり時間があって、念願の本場ガーリックシュリンプも食べれたし、珍しいお土産やお気に入りの品々を購入する事ができました❣️

I was able to experience horseback riding for a long time.
There was one guide for our group of six, who led us from the front and supported us from the back.
I thought the horses were smart as they remembered the path.
Along with the beautiful scenery of Hawaii, I was able to thoroughly enjoy horseback riding, to the point where my butt and knees started to hurt.

It was a truly wonderful experience! Honestly, it was expensive, but it created the best memories.

We signed up for a two-hour horseback riding experience with transportation for three people aged 70, 41, and 13. We gathered at 7:30 and boarded the bus, which was supposed to arrive 45 minutes before the activity, but we got there just a few minutes before 9:00. I was worried about not being able to participate, but we were told to wait on a bench, and the staff called our names and handed us a paper with the activity details. Then we moved to another location where they explained each area in English, and it felt like we were dismissed. I thought it was easy to understand since the reception areas were visible from where we were.

We went directly to the horseback riding reception, signed in, and the staff helped us choose our horses. Everything went smoothly, and we even had time to use the restroom. The restroom was a portable one, but it was spacious and relatively clean. There was a sign saying not to flush the toilet paper, but I realized that after I had flushed it.

The horses were truly intelligent, following the path perfectly at a good speed. We rode through the shade of trees and could see the ocean, arriving at a meadow where we could see those amazing mountains. The guide had a reaction that seemed quite rare, as my horse suddenly lowered its posture and lay down in that meadow. I jumped off when it lowered itself and moved away a bit, so I wasn't injured, but it rolled on its back as if scratching itself and quickly stood up. The guide repeatedly said sorry and checked if I was okay. I realized that even the smartest animals can behave unpredictably, so it's important to keep that in mind. However, my mother in her 70s, who I was most worried about, was able to enjoy the experience until the end and said she was really glad she did it without any physical issues!

After horseback riding, I gave the guide a tip of $100, which might seem small compared to the experience fee of over $90, but I thought it was appropriate to follow local customs.

We finished around 11:30 and looked at photos of the actors before heading to buy lunch. There was already a long line, and we waited nearly 30 minutes after ordering. Our bus was scheduled to leave at 1:00, so we only had a little time to eat and took the rest back to the hotel. We had been talking about having plenty of time, but in the end, it was a bit rushed.

A photographer in a buggy took pictures of each of us as soon as we started riding. Each photo was $20. The buggy could accommodate four people, and the price was the same. Payment by card was available. By the way, I was able to ride with a North Face body bag attached to my waist. Even those without bags could borrow pockets on the saddle for drinks or smartphones.

In our group of six, consisting of my daughter, mother, myself, and three others, we lined up in that order, so I ended up with many photos of the backs of the two in front of me. Although I managed to take some photos while turning back as we got used to it, I only have about three mediocre photos of myself. I regret not trying harder to ask the guide to take at least one family photo, even if it was a long shot. By the way, we didn’t go to any locations with signs that clearly indicated they were filming sites for movies. I think the people on the bus went to those places.

Being able to experience horseback riding while seeing the magnificent scenery, which is different from Japan, was the best memory of my long-held dream. I think everyone should try it at least once.

とても良い経験となりました！正直高いですが、最高の思い出です。


09:30〜の乗馬２時間体験送迎付に70歳、41歳、13歳の3人で申し込みました。07:30の集合でバスに乗り込み、アクティビティの45分前までに着くようにと記載ありますが、着いたのが09:00数分前。
もしこれで参加できなかったらどうしようと不安でしたが、ベンチで待つよう言われ、受付の方が名前を呼びアクティビティ記載の紙を渡す→場所移動→英語で各場所の説明？をされ、解散みたいな感じでした。各受付はその場から見える範囲にあるのでわかりやすいと思いました。
私達はそのまま乗馬の受付にいき、サインしてスタッフが馬を選んでくれたりの流れでした。バタバタする事もなく、トイレにもいけました。トイレは簡易トイレですが、広く割と綺麗でした。トイレットペーパーは流さないでと張り紙がありましたが、流した後に気づきました。

馬は本当に賢くて、速度も道順もバッチリです。木陰を進み海が見えてきて、あの凄い山々が見える草原？広場？に到着です。
こんなことは滅多にないような反応をガイドさんがしてましたが、私の馬がその広場で急に姿勢を低くし、寝っ転がりました。私は低くなった時に飛び降り少し離れたので怪我等なかったですが、寝転がり背中をカイカイみたいにモゾモゾしてすぐ立ち上がりました。
ガイドさんに何度もsorryと言われ、怪我はないか？の確認もされました。どんなに賢くても生き物なのでこういった事も起こり得るという事は忘れずにいた方がいいと実感しました。
でも1番心配していた70代の母も最後まで体験でき、体の不調もなく本当にしてよかった！と言っています。

乗馬後、9万超えの体験料のチップとしては少ないかもですが、100ドルをガイドさんにお渡ししました。
それでも私にとっては高いですが、郷に入れば郷に従えでお渡ししました。

終わったのが11:30頃で俳優さんの写真等を見てから昼食を買いに行きました。既に長蛇の列で、注文してからも30分近く待ちました。13:00発のバスで15分前集合でしたので、ほんの少しだけ食べ後は持ち帰り、ホテルで食べました。割と時間あるねーなんて話していたのに結果最後はバタバタでした。

バギーに乗ったカメラマンさんが、乗馬始まってすぐ1人ずつ写真を撮ってくださいました。
これは１枚20ドルでした。バギーは一台で4人家族とかで写っていて同じ値段でした。カード払いできます。
ちなみに写真にうっていますが、ノースフェイスのボディバックを腰につけては乗馬可能でした。カバンがない人でも飲み物とかスマホ等は鞍？につけるポケットを貸してもらえるので大丈夫です。

娘、母、私と他３名の6人グループで、この順番に一列になって進んで行ったので、2人の後ろ姿ばかりの写真が多く、途中慣れてきて後を振り返っての写真も撮れましたが、私の写真は微妙な写真が３枚程度です。ガイドさんにダメ元でも家族の写真を１枚でも撮ってもらう様に頑張って話しかけたらよかったと、そこだけ後悔しています。
ちなみに、乗馬では映画のロケ地だとパッとわかるような看板等には行きません。バスに乗ってる方々がそーゆーところに行かれてたのかと思います。

日本とは違う壮大な景色を見ながら長年の夢だった乗馬体験をできた事は最高の思い出です。
一度は体験してほしいと思います。

There was a reservation issue when checking in on-site. However, they were very kind and thanks to them, I had an absolutely wonderful time. The staff during the tour were also very friendly and helped to relax the nervous children. This trip to Hawaii has undoubtedly become my best memory!

Went to areas on the island that I would have never seen on my own.

It was my first time doing skydiving and going to Hawaii, but thanks to the amazing instructor, I was able to create wonderful memories. Each instructor had a slightly different way of taking photos and communicating, which was very interesting.

スカイダイビングをやるのもハワイに行くのも初めてでしたが、最高のインストラクターさんのおかげで素敵な思い出を作ることができました。
インストラクター毎に撮影や話し方が少しずつ違っており、とても面白かったです。

It is located in a private area with a gate. You will need a passcode to open the gate, which will be sent to you via email.

It takes longer to reach the location than what is shown on Google Maps after entering the private area.

Horseback riding is suitable for beginners. There will be a simple lecture at the beginning, all in English, but it's okay if you're not proficient in English.

You will pass through hilly areas and arrive at an open spot where you can see the ocean. They took pictures there.

At the end, you can feed your horse by hand.

The horses have names inspired by Hawaii. The horse that my family rode was named Aloha.

現地プライベート地区にあり、ゲートがあります。ゲートを開けるのに暗証番号が必要になります。番号はメールに来ます。

プライベート地区に入ってから現地に着くまで、Googleマップに表示されてるより、時間がかかります。

乗馬は初心者でも大丈夫です。初めに簡単なレクチャーがあります、全部英語ですが、英語が得意で無くても問題ありません。

アップダウンある所を通り、海が見える開けた場所にでます。そこで写真を撮ってくれました。

最後は自分の乗った馬に手でフードをあげる事が出来ます。

馬の名前はハワイにちなんだ名前が付いてます。家族の乗った馬はアロハでした。

I went alone, but I enjoyed it to some extent. However, there was a bit of time before the jump, and I had no one to talk to, so I was bored. The pre-jump explanation lasted about 30 seconds, but I managed to jump and I'm alive. It probably depends on your partner. Please be careful about drooling during free fall. I understood why the tandem instructors were wearing full-face helmets after it was over.

1人で行きましたが　それなりに楽しめました。
ただ飛ぶまでの間、少し時間があるのですが話し相手もおらず暇でした。
事前の説明は30秒ほどで終わりましたが無事に飛べたし生きています。
一緒に飛ぶパートナーによると思います。
フリーフォール中はよだれの飛散に気をつけてください。
一緒に飛ぶトレーなナーたちがフルフェイスのヘルメットをつけている理由が終わった後に理解できました。

First of all, I want to express my gratitude to the guide; I truly had a fulfilling day. They took us to breathtaking spots that weren't included in the tour, provided detailed explanations about shops and buildings while we moved around, and taught us a variety of things without any time to rest.

When I mentioned that I wanted to try a loco moco burger, they honestly advised me on which places were delicious and which weren't, making it easy to choose a restaurant.

The pickup time was accurate, and the service was kind and attentive. My mother was also satisfied; thank you very much.

まず初めにガイドの方に感謝の気持ちを伝えたいほど、本当に充実した1日を過ごさせていただきました。ツアー内容に入っていない絶景スポットに寄ってくれたり、店や建物の説明をとにかく詳しくしてもらいながら移動したり、寝る間のないほど様々なことを教えていただきました。
ロコモコバーガーが食べたい旨を話すと、正直レビューで美味しい、美味しくないをアドバイスしてくれて、店選びをスムーズに行うことが出来ました。
ピックアップ時間も正確で、親切、丁寧な対応でした。母も満足しておりました、ありがとうございました。

As the divers were pushed out one after another, it was finally my turn...
There was no time to be scared as I dove into the air! ❗
Once you fall, the fear disappears, and you can enjoy it. 😅
It's an experience you won't regret having at least once in your life!

人生で1度は体験して損はない！

I thought that a two-hour horseback riding experience wouldn't cover much distance or time, but to my surprise, it was a perfectly ample amount of both! It was an activity where I could enjoy the most breathtaking views while glancing at other tour groups. (I also experienced zip-lining on the same day.) I don't think there are many horseback riding experiences in Japan that allow for such a generous amount of time. I highly recommend giving it a try!

乗馬2時間、といってもさほどの距離や時間はないだろう、と思っていたら、なんとなんと！きっちりたっぷりの時間と距離で、他のツアーの人を横目に見ながら1番絶景を拝めるアクティビティだったのでは？思います（同日にジップラインも経験）
こんなにたっぷり時間を取れる乗馬体験は日本ではあまりないのではないかな、と。
是非チャレンジしてください。

Very friendly captain who found whales and a shark for us

We participated with our children aged 9, 11, and 13 at their request. Even my 9-year-old daughter, who is 120 cm tall, was able to ride alone. We received instructions on how to handle the reins and how to ride. Our guide, Kaz, accompanied us to the riding location and helped with everything from check-in to translation, which was a great help. He taught us how to ride during the transfer, and even though it was everyone's first time riding, we had a lot of fun. I can't speak any English, but having Kaz made me feel very secure. The staff at the riding location were not very impressive; they seemed to be new and a bit inexperienced. It felt like the tip was paid not for the staff, but for the smart horses. Since the tour was focused on horseback riding, we didn't plan for any exploration and just enjoyed a relaxed time.

子供からのリクエストで、9歳、11歳、13歳の子供と親子で参加しました。9歳120センチ女児でも１人で乗馬させてもらえます。手綱捌きから乗り方までレクチャーしてもらえます。送迎ガイドのカズさんが乗馬先に一緒に来てくれて、受付から通訳までしてくれたので大変助かりました。乗り方も送迎中に教えてくれて、全員初めての乗馬でしたがとても楽しめました。英語が全く話せないですが、カズさんがいてくれれば凄く安心です。乗馬先のスタッフはイマイチで、新人さんらしき人だったのか要領が悪い感じでした。チップはスタッフではなく、賢いお馬さんの為に払った感じです。乗馬目的のツアーだったので散策のプランを考えてなく、まったりと過ごしました。
