Despite having no horseback riding experience in Japan, I made a reservation and quickly got used to the very calm and smart horses after about 10 minutes.

The beach has a nice breeze and is cool, but elsewhere, there is direct sunlight and little wind, so it's essential to stay hydrated. I recommend wearing long pants or leggings, and a sleeveless top is fine and just right for the weather.

I also enjoyed the atmosphere in Haleiwa. I think two hours is sufficient for exploring Haleiwa.

The pickup time from the hotel is at 10 AM, and we arrived at the site just after 12 PM. We wandered around Waikiki until 10 AM. If you have a rental car, it won't take an hour to get there. The horseback riding is scheduled for 3 PM. From 12 PM to 3 PM, there was nothing to do, and I wanted to join another sightseeing tour, but most of them were 60 to 120 minutes long, so I couldn't participate.

The horseback riding experience is a 90-minute course, and the pace is a slow walk. When I rode on the beaches of Australia, it was more of a brisk trot than a walk. I thought I would have a similar experience here, but I was very mistaken. If you go to this place, you should rent a car, experience what you want quickly, and then leave for other locations. After the horseback riding experience, we had to wait for an hour with nothing to do for the last group, and we left the site at 6:30 PM. We arrived at the hotel close to 8 PM. I had always wanted to try parasailing, and I thought it would be amazing to experience it in Hawaii, so I decided to go for it and signed up. The breathtaking views from Waikiki to Diamond Head, along with the refreshing feeling and thrill, were incredible. I was a bit worried that the guide only spoke English, but they lightened the mood on the boat with jokes in Japanese, which made me feel at ease and I had a lot of fun. I'm really glad I participated. I splashed into the sea multiple times up to my chest!

This is my second time! It has to be 150m. I could say I came to Hawaii just for this (laughs). Unfortunately this time, I missed the bus and tried to get there with Biki, but got caught up in the Hilton strike line, which made me quite late. Even so, I was able to join, and it was a huge help. By the way, I called on the way to let you know I was late, but I couldn't get through to voicemail... that was a disappointing point.

Everyone was already on the boat, so I jumped right in and we set off! Same crew as last time! I love them ♡ I knew the drill, so even though it was a bit hectic, I just enjoyed it!

This time, the wind picked up quite a bit while we were out, which added an unexpected thrill (laughs). Based on last time's lesson, I had my Insta360 GO 3s ready at my chest and captured everything perfectly! Of course, the crew also takes photos from the boat (for a fee, and you need to confirm in advance). Diamond Head, Waikiki, Ala Moana... the blue sea and sky are just as beautiful as ever! Later, I learned from a Japanese man in his 50s who was driving us that the morning flights were canceled due to heavy fog, which made me feel lucky. This man had extensive knowledge about Hawaii, and during the 20-minute drive, we became quite familiar with the area. The airport waiting room was very clean, and there were plenty of welcoming snacks. I also encountered the cleanest restroom of my Hawaii trip there. The flight route was explained by the pilot, who seemed friendly and was also a Japanese man in his 50s. I took motion sickness medication an hour before the flight, and off we went. Onboard, the scenery was stunning, and the pilot provided a wealth of commentary over the tourist spots, which made for an exciting experience. I was worried about getting motion sickness, but it was a comfortable journey in the sky. The flight lasted about 70 minutes from takeoff to landing. We circled over the Pearl Harbor Arizona Memorial about nine times while waiting for landing clearance, which was also fun. The landing was very smooth, with less vibration than my return flight on Delta Airlines.

I made a last-minute reservation around 3:30 PM for the final flight at 5 PM. Despite the short notice, the staff were very kind and accommodating. There were four groups participating, and each group had about a 10-minute flight. Since it was in the evening, the view of the sunset and Waikiki was absolutely amazing!

I wanted to try surfing in Hawaii, so I participated in this famous school. There were about 10 people in total, all beginners, and we were the only Japanese, but there happened to be an instructor who spoke Japanese, so there were no problems at all.

I was nervous since it was my first challenge, but the instructor encouraged me, and I was able to stand up from the first try! I hardly took any breaks, so towards the end, I was able to ride the waves multiple times in quick succession. I'm not sure if I can ride the waves on my own yet, but I had a memorable and fun experience!

One thing to note is that it takes time to fill out the consent form, so you need to arrive 30 minutes before your reservation time (as mentioned on the voucher).

Big shout out to Scott and his team! We just took our first ever snorkel and my wife does not swim well and is afraid of the water. Scott is a very calm and encouraging person, my wife held on to the float and with the life vest had no worries about sinking. Sure the water was murky today, yet we saw fish, and held a starfish, a sea cucumber, and an urchin. Way cool!

I wanted to go horseback riding and see the magnificent scenery, so I made a reservation with my husband. However, since there were ups and downs, I didn't have much time to enjoy the view as it was my first experience riding. Since we were in the sun for a long time, sunscreen is a must. The guide was English-speaking, so you need to have a certain level of understanding; otherwise, you'll just be looking at the scenery. Unfortunately, we only stopped for about three minutes at the main highlight, so I wish we had a bit more time. I'm grateful that the guide sends the photos he takes along the way to my phone!

乗馬をして雄大な景色を見たいと思い主人と予約しましたが、アップダウンがあるので乗馬初体験には景色を楽しむ余裕が薄れてました。

I had a great time with the two-hour horseback riding! The course felt like a hiking trail, but since the horses handled both the uphill and downhill parts, it was less tiring. Being on horseback also gave me a higher vantage point, making the stunning views even more beautiful!

There were about six participants and two staff members accompanying us. The horses my family and I rode were calm and didn't require much guidance, so we seemed to have a good match.

However, be aware that the round sign for Jurassic Park, famous at Kualoa Ranch, was not on the course!

During the horseback riding, you need to store most of your belongings in a locker for $5 a day. Only a drink bottle and a small camera or smartphone are allowed in a small bag provided to you. Since you’ll be holding the reins with one hand, you can take photos with one hand when you get used to the rhythm. Besides selfies, they also take paid photos along the way with your smartphone.

Lunch can be purchased at the cafeteria on-site for about $15-20. The portions are quite substantial, so sharing might be a good idea if two people are participating. Be mindful that there can be a long line during lunchtime, and it takes some time to get your food. I went to the ticket counter around 10:45 as it said to check in at that time, and I received a paper voucher. It was crowded, so the actual ticket was issued around 10:58. The paper stated that horseback riding was from 11:30, so I thought it would be fine to arrive around that time, but when I got there at 11:30, I was told it was too late and I couldn't ride. My English isn't fluent, so I couldn't grasp the nuances, but it felt like they meant that 11:30 was too late since there was an explanatory video and such.

Isn't it normal to arrive at the time stated, 11:30? If there was a gathering time before that, it should have been indicated. I was really looking forward to it, so I'm very disappointed. My friend and I are both let down. When I explained the situation to the ticket center staff, they somehow allowed us to join another tour, but I really wanted to go horseback riding.

Educational, fun, and awe inspiring views all around this North Shore Eco Tour of the 10,000 acre ranch. Ryan was knowledgeable, showing us all of the different flora and wild boar trails, and went out of his way to provide extra help for me getting in and out of the vehicle and in and out of the water. Had a great time at the "playground" being the only participant to fall completely off my seat! What a great time it was bouncing around the property and basking in nature's beauty.

I was very nervous before trying parasailing at a height of 150 meters for the first time, but the staff were kind and it was a lot of fun throughout. I didn't feel unsafe and would like to participate again. The motorboat swayed a bit on the waves, so I took motion sickness medication before going.

初めてパラセイリングで150mの高さは乗る前はとてもドキドキでしたが、スタッフ方たちが親切で終始とても楽しかったです。

The tour was fun, but the high waves in Waikiki and the simple life jackets that resembled airplane life vests seemed difficult for my 7-year-old child for snorkeling. We were able to see sea turtles while snorkeling, and it was enjoyable to sail out with the yacht's sails up. It might be fine for children who are strong swimmers and accustomed to snorkeling.
