My stay at the Kahala Hotel was an early start with a 5 AM pickup, but it turned out to be a truly wonderful memory. The guide, Takao, provided a very clear and persuasive tour, which added a great "flavor" to the experience. As a snorkeling beginner in my fifties, I initially struggled to keep up with everyone in search of dolphins, but the support from the staff was very reassuring. Eventually, I got the hang of it and was able to meet the dolphins and sea turtles, which felt amazing. If I get the chance to go to Hawaii again, I definitely want to participate in this tour.

カハラホテル滞在であり、5時ピックアップと早起きでしたが、大変素晴らしい思い出となりました。ガイドのＴＡＫＡＯさんの大変わかりやすく説得力のあるガイドもツアーのよき「味付け」となっていました。シュノーケリング初心者のアラフィフであり、最初はなかなか慣れずにイルカを求めてあっちこっちに皆さんについていくのが大変でしたが、スタッフのサポートもあり、大変心強かったです。そのうちに慣れてきてイルカさんやウミガメさんにも無事合えて、大変気持ちよかったです。またハワイに行けたら、必ず参加したいと思います。

I participated with a friend. It took about 40 minutes from the meeting point to the boat dock. Upon arrival, we watched an explanation DVD (in Japanese) and boarded the boat. There was a female staff member who was a fourth-generation Japanese American and spoke Japanese, which made me feel at ease.

The sea was quite rough with strong winds, so it's advisable to take motion sickness medication. There were about 30 participants, and although the waiting time was long, I didn't mind too much as I could see turtles swimming and enjoy the scenery. We waited while eating snacks that were like small bags of potato chips and drinking water.

It was late August, but it felt quite cold. Especially after diving, everyone was shivering, so I think it would be good to have something to wrap around you or a towel for your lower body. Some people brought waterproof cases for their smartphones to dive with, but the staff also took photos and videos. The photos cost $15 per person, and purchasing the videos costs a bit more, but the photos were sent to the email address I provided later. I was satisfied with how they turned out.

When entering and exiting the helmet part, you have to submerge your head, so it might be scary for those who are not comfortable putting their face in the water. I was wearing contact lenses, so I closed my eyes while going in and out. The glass part is telescopic, so I was told to take off my glasses, and my friend did so.

The time spent underwater flew by, but the instructor was with us one-on-one, so I was able to enjoy the underwater walk with peace of mind!

友達と二人で参加しました。
集合場所から船乗り場までは、40分くらいかかりました。到着すると、説明のDVD(日本語)を見て、船に乗り込みました。日系4世という日本語が分かる女性スタッフさんがいらっしゃったので、安心でした。
海上は風が強くて、かなりうねりがありますので、酔い止めは飲んだ方がいいです。
30人くらい参加者がいて、待ち時間が長かったですが、泳いでいる亀の姿が見えたり、景色を楽しんだりしていたので、それほど気になりませんでした。小さな袋に入ったポテチのようなお菓子を食べながら、お水を飲みながら待ちました。
8月の後半でしたが、かなり寒く感じました。特に潜った後はみなさんガタガタ震えていたので、羽織るものや下半身に巻くタオルなどがあった方がよいかと思います。
防水ケースにスマホを入れて潜る方もいらっしゃいましたが、スタッフの方が写真も動画も撮ってくれます。写真は一人15ドル、動画も購入するともう少しかかりますが、後日申告したメールアドレスに写真が送られてきました。写りもよかったので満足しています。
ヘルメット？の部分に入る時と出る時は、頭まで潜らないとダメなので、顔をつけるのが苦手な方は怖いかもしれません。私はコンタクトをしていたので、目をつぶって出入りしました。ガラスの部分が望遠になっているので、メガネは外してくださいと言われ友達はメガネを外していました。
海中にいる時間はあっという間でしたが、インストラクターさんが一対一でついてくださるので、安心して水中散歩を楽しめました！

The sandbar was only waist-deep, which was disappointing.
But I was able to see both turtles and manta rays!
The bus guide was cheerful, and it was a very enjoyable tour.
I would like to participate again when I come back.
I hope to see the sandbar properly next time, though. (^^;)

サンドバーは腰までの位置だったので残念。
でもカメもマンタも見れました！
バスのガイドさんも陽気な人で、とても楽しいツアーでした。
また来たときは参加したいです。
出来ればちゃんとサンドバーが見たいですが(^^;)

My family and I have been on several horseback riding tours, and this one was certainly one of the best. For one, the staff were great! They were very attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, making us feel like we were in good hands.The horses were extremely sweet and well-trained too. Additionally, the actual ranch where the riding took place was absolutely beautiful! We saw everything from a rare cave, to an amazing view of the ocean, which made for a bunch of great photo opportunities. I would definitely recommend horseback riding at Gunstock Ranch to anyone in Oahu looking for a change of pace from the typical beach scene of Hawaii.

I was a little scared to go underwater, but since I had one-on-one assistance, I didn't feel scared at all. Above all, the staff were very kind and seemed to be having fun, which made me enjoy it too.
I made the reservation online two days before arriving in Hawaii, and it worked out perfectly.
The underwater scenery was truly beautiful. A lot of fish came close, and there were sea turtles as well.
I highly recommend it.

水中に入るのは少し怖かったのですが、マンツーマンで補助していただけるので、何も怖くなかったです。何よりもスタッフの皆さんがとても親切で楽しそうにしていて、こちらも楽しくなりました。
ハワイについてからの前々日にネットから予約したのですが、間に合いました。
水中の景色は本当に綺麗でした。魚が大漁に寄ってきました。ウミガメもいました。
おすすめします。

Wow, there were so many sharks! It was an amazing experience, and I was very satisfied!

While I was watching from inside the cage and waiting on the boat while other groups were having their turn, the boat was rocking a lot, and I felt like I might get seasick. There were a few people who actually got sick.

ゲージの中で、見ている間と、船の上で、他のグループが体験している間待っている間が、とても船が揺れて酔いそうだった。酔ってる人が数人いた。

I participated in a tour that started at 11:00. I received a call about the pickup 30 minutes before, which left a good impression. They arrived on time, and we were able to depart. After setting sail on the boat, we searched for dolphins, but there weren't large groups, and those who saw them had very little time, which was disappointing. Since I didn't see any dolphins, I received a coupon for 50% off for my next visit on the way back. My family also enjoyed it, so I would like to participate again when I come to Hawaii next time.

お迎え30分前にホテルにお迎え予定の電話があり好印象。
時刻通り迎えがあり、出発出来ました。
船で出船後、イルカを捜しましたが大きな群れは無く、見れた人、時間も少しで残念でした。
イルカが見れなかったので帰りに次回50%offで使用できるクーポンをもらいました。
家族にも好評でしたので、次回ハワイへ来たらまた参加したいと思いました。

I was wondering what Sea Bob was like, and I was moved when I entered the sea. Fish the size of my palm gathered, attracted by the bread, and the sight was beautiful. After the Sea Bob experience, I was able to see a sea turtle up close while snorkeling. I experienced seven optional tours, but this was the most popular with my family.

シーbobどんなものかと思ってましたが、海に入り感動。
パン の餌に誘われて、手のひら大の魚が集まり、その光景が綺麗でした。
シーbob体験後のシュノーケリングは浮上した海亀を間近で見ることが出来ました。
7つのオプショナルツアーを体験しましたが、家族1番人気でした。

I made a reservation for the Standard 90! It was a clear sunny day! The boat was quite bumpy, but they went fast, and I found it really fun! The parasailing was high and scary, but I could see sea turtles, and I also got to see planes taking off from the airport and Diamond Head, which felt amazing! The captain was very enthusiastic about providing great service! Thank you very much!

I challenged myself to 150 meters. I had been looking forward to it since I made the reservation, and the view exceeded my expectations, making it a wonderful memory. The height of 150 meters was initially scary, but I got used to it quickly. A sense of unity developed among the participants, and I was able to connect with people from different countries. If you bring a digital camera, it seems that the guide will take photos for you while you're in the air.

150mに挑戦しました。予約した時からとても楽しみにしていましたが、期待以上の眺望で、とても良い思い出になりました。150mの高さも、最初は怖かったものの、すぐに慣れました。参加者同士も一体感が生まれ、違う国の方々と盛り上がることができました。デジカメを持参した場合、ガイドさんに手渡しておけば、空中での写真を撮ってくださるようです。

What an amazing pod of dolphins swimming beneath us! They are quite fast, but on this day, there were so many dolphins (^ -^) v It was truly moving ٩(^‿^)۶ Thanks to the captain's arrangements, we were able to see them again. This time, there was a baby dolphin! The baby was so excited and showed us lots of spins. Additionally, we were treated to the captain's ukulele and singing, which we rarely get to hear. It was so moving that I almost cried *\(^o^)/* Thank you to all the crew members *\(^o^)/*

I decided to challenge myself to fly in the sky as a celebration of my upcoming 60th birthday. Since I was staying at the Hilton, it was only a 10-minute walk, so there was no time loss. I trusted the reviews that said even if my English wasn't great, everything would work out. As a result, everyone was so kind and skilled at helping me relax, so communication was no problem at all. Although it was only 120 meters, I enjoyed it enough. Thanks to the impressive work of the two crew members on the boat, I was able to shout and laugh loudly in the sky, feeling the thrill and becoming one with the wind. It was a great experience! I highly recommend it!

もうすぐ６０歳になるので記念に空を飛んでみようとチャレンジしました。まず宿泊がヒルトンなので歩いて１０分以内でタイムロスがない、さらに英語はダメだけど、どうにかなるというレビューを信じ当日を向かえました。その結果、皆さん優しいので緊張しないようにリラックスさせるのが上手なのでコミニュケーションも取れ全く大丈夫ですま。１２０ｍでしたが十分楽しめます。ボートの２人のクルーの見事な仕事ぶりのお陰で空の上で大声で叫んだり笑ったりスリルもあり風を感じ風と一体になれ良い経験でした。お奨めです！

The weather was great, and it was the best. There was a parking lot nearby that offered 6 hours of free parking. Afterward, you can take a leisurely walk to Kahanamoku Beach. The sandy beach is wide and not crowded.

天気にも恵まれ、最高でした。駐車場場も6時間無料が直ぐ近くにありました。終了後は、徒歩でカハナモクビーチでのんびり出来ます。砂浜も広く人が少ないでした。

I've been to Hawaii more than ten times, but this was my first time parasailing! I went with a mix of anxiety and excitement, but there was nothing to worry about; it was incredibly safe and enjoyable, even more than I imagined.

Seeing Waikiki and Diamond Head from the sky was just breathtaking! We were blessed with beautiful weather, with a stunning blue sky and ocean. I don't think you can find such scenery anywhere else. I definitely want to do it again the next time I go to Hawaii.

ハワイには10回以上行っていますが、なんと今回が初めてのパラセイリングでした！不安と期待とで胸を膨らませて行きましたが、不安なことは何一つなく、想像以上に安全で楽しめました。
空からワイキキやダイヤモンドヘッドを眺められるなんてとにかく感激！お天気にも恵まれ、美しく青い空と海。こんな景色は他では見られないと思います。次回ハワイに行ったらまた是非やりたいです。

You can only have this kind of experience here! While you might think you can touch dolphins or kiss them at some aquariums, the unique experiences waiting for you here include swimming with dolphins and getting to touch them for a long time. However, the waiting time after the dolphin touch was quite long.

こんな体験は、ここでしかできません！
某水族館でもイルカタッチやイルカにチューはできるかと思われますが、イルカと一緒に泳いだり、イルカに長い時間タッチさせてもらうなど、ここでしかできない体験が待っています。
ただイルカタッチが終わったあとの待ち時間が長く待たされました。

Since I came all the way to Hawaii, I booked a show. At first, I signed up for a show with transportation included, but since the meeting point was farther from the hotel, I opted for this one that I could get to on my own. For those with a short stay, I think it's good because you can see it in Waikiki, which minimizes time loss. It was standard, but it included a welcome drink plus one drink, and the food was decent. Perhaps because it was small, all the seats were relatively close to the stage. There was also a face painting service for kids, which they enjoyed. I think it's a good experience to try at least once.

せっかくハワイに来たので、とショーを申し込みしました。
最初は送迎つきのショーを申し込みましたが、集合場所がホテルより遠いため自力で行けるこちらにしました。
滞在時間が短い方にはワイキキで見れるため時間のロスが少なくてよいと思います。
スタンダードでしたが、ウェルカムドリンク＋１ドリンクつきで食事もまぁまぁかな～って感じです。こじんまりしているせいか、どの席もわりと近くで見れました。
子供にペイントサービスみたいなのもあって喜んでいました。
一度体験してみるにはよいと思います。

I was worried about my physical stamina, but I enjoyed it enough. I would like to use it again. I got tired from paddling, but it was fun!

体力的に心配してましたが、十分に楽しめました。
また利用したいですね。

I was worried about getting seasick, so I took motion sickness medication after breakfast. I didn't get sick, but I was hit by an overwhelming drowsiness. The deeper we went, the darker it became, and the visibility wasn't that clear, so I dozed off and felt a bit out of it. If asked if I would go again, my answer would be NO. As mentioned in Manou Yamashita's book, in the morning, there were mostly Japanese people, so if you want to feel like you're abroad, I recommend the afternoon trips. In the morning, it was nice to have a Japanese guide and be able to listen to the explanations without headphones since there were many Japanese people... It was good that the shuttle bus dropped us off not at the original location, but partway, allowing us to get off in front of DFS without returning to the Sheraton. By the way, Manou recommended walking along the coast to the boarding area instead of taking the shuttle bus.

酔ってしまったら嫌だなあと思って、酔い止め薬を朝食後に飲みました。酔わなかったですけど、もの凄い眠気に襲われ、艦内は潜れば潜るほど暗くなるし、そこまで透明度も明瞭でないので、ウトウト、ぼーっとしてしまいました。もう1回行く？と聞かれたら、ＮＯ、です。山下マヌーさんの本に載っていた通り、午前中は、日本人がほとんどだったので、海外気分を感じたいのであれば、午後便がお勧めです。午前は、日本語ガイドになり、（日本人が多かったので）ヘッドフォンをつけずに解説を聞けるのは良かったと思いますが・・・。送迎バスの送りで、元の場所でなく、途中で、おろしてもらえたのは良かったです。（シェラトンまで戻らずにＤＦＳ前で降車できた）ちなみに、マヌーさんは、送迎バスで運んでもらうのではなく、海岸をずっと歩いて、乗船場まで行くことをオススメしていました。

This was my second time, and it was impressive to see it right in front of me. My child was also captivated. Thank you.

Boat didn't have enough seats for everyone so in the beginning and end we were left standing.

We had the best time! Everything was perfect, of course the places we visited were outstanding, real nature´s beauty. And the staff of the boat was very kind and efficient. Great people!

We participated with three adults and one high school student. We traveled by boat from the sandy beach to the spot. The ride can be bumpy, and it shakes while waiting for others to fly, so I think it's better to take motion sickness medication beforehand.

After about a five-minute boat ride, the staff starts preparing everything. We took off our sandals, put on life jackets, and once we were ready, the groups started flying one after another. You choose the height when you make the reservation, but it didn't seem to be confirmed, so the height doesn't seem to matter much. What was checked were the number of water landings and the force of the jump. I didn't want to get wet, so I used "ones! mild!" and only splashed a little. Some people got quite wet, but it seems it's also possible to come back dry.

The flying lasts just under ten minutes, but it feels amazing. It was quite high and a bit scary, but I had enough time to wave my hands and take pictures. The staff were handsome and kind, and it was fun to chat with others on the same boat.

大人3人高校生1人で参加しました。砂浜からスポットまでボートで移動しました。移動も揺れますし、他の方が飛んでいる待機中も揺れますので酔い止めは飲んでいった方が良いと思います。

ボートで5分くらい移動したらスタッフの方が着々と準備を始めます。サンダルを脱いで、ライフジャケットを着て、準備が整うとはじのグループから次々に飛んでいきます。予約の時に高さを選びますが特に確認されることもなかったので、高さはあまり関係ない気がします。確認されたのは着水の回数と勢いです。私は濡れたくなかったので「ones！mild！」と使えたのでポチャくらいでした。人によってはかなり濡れていましたし、濡れずに帰ってくることも可能みたいです。

飛んでいる間は10分弱ですがかなり気持ちいいです。結構高くて少し恐さはありましたが手を振ったり、写真を撮る余裕はありました。スタッフの方がイケメンで親切で、同じボートの方との話ができたり楽しかったです。

I participated with my family and my 2-year-old nephew. I was nervous that there might be a height check since he was just barely 92 cm, but there was no check, and we were able to board without any issues.

The boat from the beach to the submarine sways quite a bit. We had to wait about 10 minutes for the submarine, and during that time, people who are prone to motion sickness felt quite nauseous on the swaying boat. Once we boarded the submarine, it was calm and steady once submerged.

Underwater, the visibility was poor, and we couldn't see many fish. There were fish around the artificially sunk feeding area. I was a bit disappointed because the photos on the website looked too beautiful, and I had that image in mind. Additionally, inside the submarine, we only listened to explanations through headphones, and there was hardly any interaction from the crew, which was a bit disappointing. However, the elementary school-aged children seemed to enjoy it.

2歳の甥と家族で参加しました。身長が92cmギリギリだったので乗る前に検査でもあったらどうしようとドキドキしてましたが、特に検査もなく何も言われずに乗れました。
浜辺から潜水艦までの船が揺れます。また潜水艦を待ってる時間が10分くらいあり、その間も揺れる船上で待機のため酔いやすい人はかなり気持ち悪くなってました。潜水艦に乗船し、沈んでしまえば揺れもなく穏やかです。

沈むと海の中は濁っておりあまり魚が見えませんでした。人工的に沈められた餌場の周りには魚がいます。ホームページなどの写真が綺麗すぎるのでそのイメージでいたのでがっかりです。また、潜水艦の中はヘッドホンで説明を聞くだけで乗務員さんからの話はほとんど無いのでそれも少し残念です。小学生くらいの子供は楽しんでいました。

I was able to see every corner of Waikiki. It felt great to be surrounded by the wind! ✌️ But, I was still scared because I couldn't touch the bottom. The mischievous, good-looking guy was funny!

ワイキキの隅々まで見渡せました。風をいっぱい受けてキモチ良かった〜〜✌️でも、やっぱり足がつかないのは怖かった〜いたずらっ子のイケ面お兄さんが面白かったよ

This was one of the greatest highlights of our whole vacation!! The staff were so friendly and kind. We shared the boat with other passengers who were on their honeymoons and on family vacations also. It was a great environment. And the kids had so much fun watching how they set up the parasails. The pictures turned out fantastic and it was overall amazing, I wish to come here again :)

I think it was the most beautiful sea I've ever seen!!!! I was so moved ♡ The staff were very kind and fun, and I really enjoyed myself!!! They took a lot of photos for us, and especially Yukiko, the Japanese staff member, was truly wonderful. I am very grateful! Thank you so much ♡

My husband wanted to try surfing, so I joined him. It was my first experience with surfing.

We were picked up by car on the way there, and since the hotel (Moana Surfrider) was close, we walked back afterward. It took about 10 minutes.

The staff at the reception spoke Japanese, which made me feel very comfortable during the lesson. I also received a CD with photos taken during the lesson, and it was a really great experience. I participated thinking I would just be a companion, so I didn't have much stamina and had to return to the beach partway through (laughs). Paddling is quite tiring!!

夫がサーフィンをやってみたいと言うので参加しました。サーフィンは初体験でした。
行きは車で迎えに来てもらい、帰りはホテル（モアナサーフライダー）が近かったので歩いて帰りました。10分くらいです。

受付スタッフは日本語を喋れるかただったのでとても安心して受講できました。
レッスン中の写真を撮ったCDRもいただき、とても良い体験ができました。
私は付き添い程度のつもりで参加したので、体力もなく途中でビーチに帰らせてもらいました（笑）パドリング、結構疲れます!!

It was great to see the sharks, but my children, who are sensitive to motion, got seasick from the boat's rocking before we reached the point and couldn't go into the water. The sea wasn't particularly rough, so those who are prone to seasickness should be prepared.

サメを見ることが出来たのはいいのですが
乗り物に弱い我が家の子供たちはポイントに着くまでの
ボートの揺れで酔ってしまい、海に入れませんでした。
海が特別荒れていたわけではないので
船に弱い人は覚悟したほうが良いかも

I was looking forward to the sandbar.

The staff were fun people, and the sandbar was very beautiful.

However, it was disappointing that it wasn't the sandbar I had imagined.

I had envisioned it during low tide...

It's a natural occurrence, so there's nothing that can be done about it.

I should have asked the staff what time the tide goes out or done more research.

Since I went on the morning course, I wonder if the tide would have been out if I had chosen the afternoon course.

Next time, I want to go when the tide is out.

But it was very beautiful, and I was truly moved!

サンドバーもとても綺麗でした。

ただイメージしていたサンドバーではなかったのが残念でした。

潮が引いているイメージでしたので・・・

自然の事なので、仕方がありませんが。

私も大体何時頃に潮が引くのかスタッフに聞くなり、
もっと調べておけば良かったです。

午前のコースだったので、
午後コースだったら、潮が引いていたのでしょうか。

次回は、潮が引いた時に行きたいと思います。

でもとても綺麗で感動しましたよ！
