I had heard from a Japanese travel agency that there could be accidents, so I was actually worried, but the boat left right next to the Hilton, and before I knew it, we were starting with the first group. In my case, there were three groups consisting only of Japanese people. There were also families who were just sightseeing and taking photos on their own. My 10-year-old child had a great time as well. I was relieved that there was no anxiety about landing, and they helped us get off the boat smoothly, so I didn't get wet at all from start to finish, even in my clothes. It was incredibly cloudy and extremely cold... I participated on a day that was so cold, I couldn't believe it was Hawaii. The scenery was also disappointing due to the clouds, and the sandbar had water levels only up to my knees, which was a big failure. It was so cold that I didn't participate in snorkeling and waited on the boat instead. I think if you're going to the sandbar, you should definitely choose the right season to go.

The staff were very cheerful and tried their best to lift the mood; they were kind and pleasant. If I ever go again for a revenge trip, I would choose this tour.

There was no time to hesitate, and before we knew it, we were enjoying the experience in the air. We were in Hawaii for our honeymoon and wanted to do something adventurous so we decided to go to Gunstock Ranch for some horseback riding. The booking was really easy and I received a call an hour later with confirmation of my purchase. Shortly after I received an email with the confirmation details and directions to the ranch. The process went really smooth. The route out to the ranch along highway 83 was absolutely spectacular! It goes right along the ocean coast with gorgeous views and the splashing water literally hits your car as you drive by because your so close. The ranch was very nice, easy to get to with a super friendly staff. There are restrooms which were very clean for being outdoors along with sinks to wash your hands afterwards. Plenty of parking.
They take safety precautions when mounting and unmounting the horses. They recommend that you wear a helmet also but you can sign a waiver if you choose not to. The horses are really friendly and very well trained. The trails are absolutely beautiful as you leave the ranch, enter into the mountain side, through forests, up and down hills, and a view of the ocean off in the distance. You get to see the cattle, and the baby calves as you ride. Leanna was our guide and she was very knowledgeable about the ranch, the area, and the horses. I could see her love for them and she was very friendly and made sure everyone in our group was doing good and having a great time. She recommended many things to do on the island and was very helpful answering any questions we had along the way. We had a great time and recommend Gunstock Ranch to anyone who is looking for a great horseback riding experience!

We participated as a family. It seems that the waves were rough on the day we joined, so while others were using the underwater scooters, we had to wait on the boat or could go snorkeling, but many people ended up feeling seasick. I thought the underwater scooter was great because it had some clever features like bait attached to it. The staff were friendly, and they spoke Japanese, which was reassuring. However, I was disappointed that after the tour, even though I was purchasing the photo data, the driver rushed us because the car was already waiting, and I couldn't hear the explanations.

We participated as a family of four. Our younger child, who is six years old, was scared to get into the cage, so they watched from the boat while the other three of us went into the cage. After about 30 minutes of heading out to sea, we arrived at the point and split into two groups to take turns entering the cage, which was slightly away from the boat. There were really a lot of sharks swimming quietly around the cage. It was very exciting, but the boat was really rocking! During the trip to the point, while we were in the cage, and even while the other group was in the cage, we were constantly battling seasickness. We drove to the location in a rental car, and since I was the driver, I couldn't take any motion sickness medication (because it makes me sleepy all day), so I just stared at the distant land from the boat to get through it. One of the other participants ended up vomiting, but most of them were fine and enjoyed taking lots of pictures and spotting sharks from the boat. So, for those who get motion sickness, be careful! But I’m glad I participated because I got to see the sharks up close.

家族4人で参加しました。下の子が6歳でケージに入るのは怖いと言うのでボートから見学、ほかの3人でケージに入りました。30分程沖へ進みポイントに着くと2グループに分かれて順番にケージへ入りボートから少し離されます。サメは本当に沢山います、静かにケージの周りを泳いでいます。大興奮ですが揺れがすごいです！ポイントまでの移動中も、ケージに入っている間も、もうひとグループがケージに入っている間のボートも、ずっと船酔いとの戦いでした。私達はレンタカーで現地集合、私は運転手だった為、酔い止めの薬も飲めず(飲むと1日中眠たくなってしまうので)ボートではひたすら遠くの陸を眺めてなんとかやり過ごしました。他の参加者の方々は吐いていた人が1人、大半は酔わずに沢山写真を撮ったりボートからサメを見つけたり楽しんでいました。という事で乗り物酔いする方は要注意！でもサメが間近に見られて参加して良かったと思います。

About an hour by car from Waikiki and about 30 minutes by cruise ship from the harbor, we landed on a truly mysterious sandbar. The shallow area, about 100 meters in diameter, is surrounded by marine blue waters, and the water level is only knee-high, so the kids were able to play safely. We observed tropical fish while snorkeling, and the tour included lunch, which made for a very satisfying experience.

P.S. There was a funny local staff member who had a tattoo of his daughter's name (in kanji!) on his body.

ワイキキから車で1時間、ハーバーからクルーズ船で30分位でしょうか。なんとも不思議なサンドバーに降り立ちました。直径100m程の白い砂の浅瀬はマリンブルーの海の囲まれ、海面も膝の高さ程度ですので、お子様達も安心して遊べていました。シュノーケリングで熱帯魚を観察し、昼食もついて大満足のツアーでした。

Great experience. very funny driving, seeing nice places. Make sure u have a sunglass and hat, maybe something to cover your mouth while driving because of the dust. get ready to get dirty but its a lot of fun!!!
