This was my second time in Hawaii, and I rode a submarine for the first time. Since I don't usually get to do this, I was really looking forward to it. We saw many creatures like sea turtles and sharks, and the kids were very happy. The cheerful captain spoke in a fun way and provided interesting explanations, making it a very meaningful experience. I would love to do it again if I have the chance.

海がめやサメなど多くの生き物が沢山集まっていて子供たちも
大変喜んでいました。また陽気な見本語をしゃべる船長が
面白おかしく説明してくれてとても有意義な時間を過ごすことが
できました。また機会があれば利用したいです。

Staff were very welcoming from the very start of the cruise and the night just got better. Great food and fantastic entertainment. The staff couldn’t do enough for you. Would totally recommend to everyone. Wonderful way to celebrate my birthday.

Instead of diving, I participated in this submarine tour as a way to explore the ocean. I was able to see sea turtles both on the shuttle to the submarine and inside the submarine! There was also an audio guide in Japanese, and the crew members were very friendly, so I had a great time!

ダイビングができない代わりに海に潜る方法として、この潜水艦ツアーに参加しました。潜水艦までの連絡船、潜水艦の中両方でウミガメを見ることができました！日本語での音声ガイドもあり、クルーの方々も親切だったのでとても楽しめました！

I participated in the Dolphin Encounter where you can swim with dolphins. The explanation was in English only, but they spoke slowly with gestures, making it easy to understand. Above all, the dolphins were adorable, and it was a lot of fun. I now have another wonderful memory from Hawaii.

説明は英語オンリーでしたが、身振り手振りでゆっくりとお話ししてくれたのでわかりやすかったです。
何よりイルカが可愛くてとても楽しかったです。

We participated as a family of five. It was our first time horseback riding, but we enjoyed a slow walk along the coast on horseback and even spotted some sea turtles swimming occasionally. The horses were very gentle and cute, and everyone became a fan of horses. Although we had limited time, we were able to stop by places like Dole Plantation and Haleiwa, making for a very fulfilling day. Our guide, Kaz, was easy to understand. Thank you very much.

家族５人で参加しました。乗馬は初めてでしたが馬に乗って海岸沿いをゆっくり歩き時々海ガメが泳いでいるのも見られました。馬達もとてもおとなしく可愛くて全員馬ファンになりました。ドールプランテーションやハレイワなど時間は少しでしたが立ち寄る事ができとても充実した1日を過ごせました。
ガイドのカズさんの話もわかりやすかったです。ありがとうございました。

I challenged myself to 150 meters. It was higher than I imagined, and I was scared at first, but once I got used to it, it felt great. I'm glad I decided to go for the full 150 meters instead of a half-hearted height. The staff were friendly and took lots of photos for a fee. The final splash of water was surprisingly fun.

150mに挑戦。想像以上に高く、始めは怖かったけど慣れると気持ちいい。
中途半端な高さにするのではなく150mにチャレンジしてよかった。
スタッフの方のノリも良く、有料だが写真をいっぱいとってくれた。最後にお約束のお水ジャブンが意外と楽しい。

I was so moved to be able to interact with the dolphins!!! They were so cute that I didn't want to leave!!! The bus driver was also very kind! I definitely want to go again!!!

Although the visibility of the sea wasn't great due to the rain the day before, the emerald green and cobalt blue waters sparkling in the sunlight were truly beautiful. We encountered many sea turtles, and my husband even had moments where he swam close enough to them while being careful not to touch! Our guide, Yukiko, was also impressive just to watch, and she is a big reason why I want to join this tour again and meet her!

前日雨だったため海の透明度はいまいちとのことでしたが、きらきら太陽の光が輝くエメラルドグリーン、コバルトブルーの海は本当にきれいでした♡
ウミガメにもたくさん会え、主人はシュノーケリングスポットで触れちゃわないように気をつけるくらい近くで一緒に泳げる瞬間も！
ガイドのユキコさんも見ているだけでかっこ気持ちよく、またこのツアーに参加して会いに行きたい！と思う大きな一因です。

If you're in Hawaii and not heading up Haleakala or Mauna Loa, this is the best stargazing experience you can get (in my still limited experience). Greg took us through the solar system and out into the Milky Way, showing evergreens like Jupiter and Saturn together with more exotic objects like supernova remnants and binary stars (including a spectacular yellow and blue pair). Great!

We attended the 21:00 show in mid-July - dark enough, although the almost full moon did make things complicated when objects got a bit close to it. On the flip side though, getting to take pictures of that moon with your phone through the telescope lens at the end provides a great souvenir! Our seven year-old also really enjoyed the show.

On the third day in Hawaii, I was filled with excitement as I headed to the meeting place! The shuttle bus arrived! The person in charge got off the bus! Their first words were, "This tour is canceled today!?" Seriously! Unbelievable!

The activities themselves and the staff were good, but the shuttle tour was quite stressful.

First, the meeting time was 7:45, but the car did not arrive. There were other Westerners at the meeting point, and we were all waiting together, confirming that the shuttle had not come. At 8:05, one shuttle arrived. I felt relieved and tried to get on with others, but our names were not on the list. When I asked the driver, he said another car would come, so we had to wait... We had already been waiting for 20 minutes, and we were the only Japanese left behind. I started to worry whether our reservation was confirmed.

Even at 8:15, the car had not come. It was getting too late, so I left my companions and ran to the hotel front desk to make a call. However, I was told that they were delayed due to traffic and to wait another 10 minutes, so I ran back to the meeting point.

At 8:30, even after waiting more than the 10 minutes they mentioned, the car still had not arrived. I started to feel like canceling. For now, I ran back to the hotel front desk and called again. I was told it would come soon, so I ran back to the meeting point. Standing outside for so long made me anxious and angry, and I was getting tired.

At 8:40, the shuttle finally arrived. Since most of the passengers were Japanese, it seemed to be a car that gathered Japanese tour participants. Later, I found out that others had also been waiting without knowing what was going on.

Inside the car, the driver apologized for the delay, but since it was in English, I couldn't fully understand the reasons. We arrived at the destination safely. The activity itself was 20 minutes late, but I was in a group with other Japanese participants, and the staff were fun, plus the scenery was great, so it turned out to be a wonderful time.

Around 13:00, the activity ended. We collected our belongings and selected photos, but since we hadn’t been informed about the return meeting time, we just waited. At 13:30, since it was hot outside, the driver kindly let us into the car. I appreciated that.

However, while all the Japanese participants who did the activity got on, we had to wait because the members from the outbound shuttle were not all present. At 14:15, the remaining person arrived, apologizing as they got on. We departed, but I had expected to be back in Waikiki by 14:30, which messed up my plans for the day. I thought if they had informed us of the return meeting time, we wouldn’t have been delayed this much.

Around 15:30, we returned to the hotel in Waikiki.

As I mentioned, I cannot trust the shuttle timing at all. Additionally, all communication is in English, and using a mobile phone abroad is difficult, which made me very anxious and stressed. The staff were all nice, and the activity was enjoyable, but it seems that no one is managing or taking responsibility for the schedule and timing of the optional tour with shuttle service. In this situation, I cannot recommend it to others, and I think improvements are necessary, so I will give it one star.

アクティビティ自体も、スタッフも良かったですが、送迎付きツアーとしてはストレスが溜まりました。
まず、集合時間7:45でしたが車が来ない。欧米人の方も待ち合わせ場所にいて、お互い同じツアー参加者で送迎車が来ないことについて確認したりして待っていました。
8:05に一台の送迎車が到着。ほっとして他の方と一緒に乗り込もうとしますが、私達の名前はなく、運転手に聞くと、もう一台車が来るから待つようにと…既に20分待っている上、残されるのは日本人の私達だけ。予約が取れているのか不安になります。
8:15になっても車は来ない。いくらなんでも遅すぎるので同行者を残し、ホテルのフロントに走り、電話をかけます。しかし、道路渋滞？のため遅れているからと、あと10分まつように言われ、集合場所に走って戻ります。
8:30、言われた10分以上待っても車が来ない。キャンセルしたくなってきます。とりあえずもう一度ホテルのフロントに走り、再度電話します。すぐ来ると言われ、また集合場所に走って戻ります。ずっと外で立ちっぱなしでいることもあり、不安と怒りで疲れます。
8:40、やっと送迎車到着。大半が日本人だったので、日本人のツアー客を集めた車のようです。後で聞いてみると、他の方もよく分からずずっと待っていた様子。
車の中で、運転手が遅れたことを謝っていましたが、英語なので理由等はよくわかりませんでした。
無事に現地到着。アクティビティ自体は20分遅れでしたが、他の日本人の方と一緒のグループでしたし、スタッフさんも楽しい方で、景色も良く最高の時間でした。
13:00頃アクティビティが終了。荷物を回収したり、写真を選びますが、帰りの集合等は聞いていないためそのまま待ちます。
13:30、外が暑いため、運転手さんが気を利かせて、車の中に入れてくれました。これはありがたかったです。
しかし、一緒にアクティビティをしていた日本人は全員乗り込みましたが、行きの送迎車のメンバーが揃っていないため、この状態で待ちます。
14:15、まだ来ていなかった方が謝りながら乗車。出発しましたが、14:30にはワイキキに戻れると思っていたため、当日の予定が狂います。最初に帰りの集合時間等を知らせておけばこんなに遅れなかったのでは？と思いました。
15:30頃、ワイキキのホテルに帰着。

以上のとおり、送迎については時間が全く信用できません。また、やりとりは全て英語になりますし、海外では携帯も使いづらいため、とても不安で、ストレスが溜まりました。
スタッフは皆さん良い方でしたし、アクティビティも楽しかったですが、送迎付きのオプショナルツアー記載の日程や時間については、誰も管理されてないし、責任もないのだと思います。
この状態では他の人におすすめはできないのと、改善した方が良いと思うので、星は1つにします。

The weather was perfect, and the dolphin watching was a huge success! Under the precise guidance of the staff, we encountered a large number of wild dolphins! Just when we were already very satisfied, we even got to see a super rare seal, making it an incredibly fulfilling experience for the whole family!

大満足していたところにトドメに超レアなアザラシまで見ることができ家族含めて大満足の体験でした！！

The day of participation was unfortunately marked by cloudy skies and intermittent rain, but when the sun peeked through for a moment, it was absolutely beautiful! We played beach volleyball, and even though we couldn't communicate with people from other countries, it felt like we connected through sports, making it a really enjoyable time! The hamburger we had for lunch was also incredibly delicious! We were able to see a lot of fish while snorkeling! I think it would be stunning on a sunny day, so I would love to participate again!

参加日はあいにくの曇りとパラパラ雨の繰り返しでしたが、一瞬晴れ間がさすと最高にきれいでした！
ビーチバレーをやりましたが他国の方たちと言葉は通じませんが、スポーツで気持ちが繋がった感じがしてとっても楽しい時間でした！
お昼に食べたハンバーガーもすごくおいしかったです！
シュノーケリングもお魚がたくさん見れました！
晴れたら最高にきれいだと思うのでまた参加したいです！

I participated with my father and son. It was much more fun than I expected, and I think it's a recommended tour for people who love marine sports!

私の父と息子で参加。思ってたよりもすごく楽しかったようでマリンスポーツ好きの人にはお勧めのツアーと思います！

Sharks that I've only seen in aquariums gracefully approach me, waving their fins right in front of me. The safety is guaranteed, so I can watch them without any anxiety.

今まで水族館でしか見たことのない鮫が、目の前で優雅にヒレを振り近づいてきます。安全性も担保されており、全く不安なく見ていられます。

是時一度野生の鮫の姿を見て下さい。

I participated first thing in the morning, so the ending time was also in the morning. It was great that there was no wasted time. I've done parasailing a few times, so I chose a height of 150 meters. It was really pleasant and the best experience. It was still a bit chilly in the morning, so after getting splashed in the sea, I felt a little cold. The foreign girl whose birthday it was that day was getting dunked in the water as a special treat, so by the time she returned to the boat, she was shivering (laughs). That must have become a good memory for her too (*^_^*). I’ve definitely decided to participate again next time!

パラセーリングは何度かやっているので、高さは150メートルにしました。
本当に気持ちよくて最高でした。
朝はまだ少し肌寒かったので、海ポチャされた後はちょっと寒かったです。
その日が誕生日だった外国人の女の子は、大サービスで海に沈みまくられていたので、船に戻ったときには震えていました（笑）
それもいい思い出になったことでしょう(*^_^*)
次回もまた参加決定です！！

My mother and I signed up for a seaside horseback riding course. It was our first horseback riding experience, but the local staff kindly helped us with how to ride and stop. Riding while looking at the sea was truly a wonderful feeling.

Unfortunately, after arriving at the Dole Plantation, which was supposed to be just a quick stop, we were told by the tour guide that there was a mistake and they had forgotten to bring their license, which would take time to retrieve from the office. As a result, our stay was extended by over an hour. Since this is a common spot for other tours, I had been there before and ended up with nothing to do, feeling quite bored. Additionally, the tour guide's attitude was lacking sincerity, saying things like, "This is quite rare, you know," which honestly made me feel anxious about whether it was safe to follow this person.

The horseback riding itself was a lovely experience, so next time I participate, I would prefer to join a different tour company if there is an option.

母と娘の親子二名で海辺乗馬コースを申し込みました。初めての乗馬体験でしたが乗り方、止まり方等現地のスタッフが親切に対応して下さり、何といっても海を見ながらの乗馬はとても気持ちの良いものでした。
残念だったのは、立ち寄り程度だった筈のドールプランテーションに到着した後、ツアーガイドのミスでライセンスを携帯し忘れたとのことで事務所へ取りに戻るのに時間がかかると言われ、結果滞在時間が１時間以上延びた事です。他のツアーでも定番のスポットなので以前も立ち寄ったことがあり、やることが無く時間を持て余しました。また、それに対するツアーガイドの態度も「こんな事稀なんですけどね～」といった誠意に欠けるもので正直「この人について行って大丈夫なのか？」と不安に感じました。
乗馬自体はとても素敵な経験となりましたので、次回参加する時は別の催行会社での企画があればそちらに参加したいと思います。

I took my daughter and her family to this Luau and I am so glad we bought the Royal package. It was great. We were right in front and the dancing was great and the Fire dancing was fantastic. I also liked the fact the they involved you in different activities. Food was great also. I liked the fact they will stay and take pictures with you at the end with your own camera. Overall I would definitely recommend this Luau to everyone.

Departure around 7 o'clock and return around 3 o'clock. The tour itself takes about an hour, with one session in the morning and one in the afternoon. There was a lot of waiting time, and it wasn't that impressive. Well, I thought it wouldn't hurt to go at least once!

待ち時間が多いしあまり大したことなかった。
まあ、一度は行っても損はないかな！と思いました。

I think I could have enjoyed the tour more if the guide had been better. As others have mentioned, it was disappointing to have Kaz as our guide.

① Dole Plantation

I arrived 10 minutes before opening. This meant that the actual time I had to enjoy Dole Plantation was only 20 minutes, which was unsatisfactory. I quenched my thirst with very delicious pineapple juice and browsed for souvenirs. I wished I had a bit more time to explore the garden.

② Strolling through Haleiwa Town on the North Shore and having brunch with garlic shrimp

I ate at a Japanese-owned restaurant recommended by the guide. (It was emphasized multiple times that they opened early for this tour.) Perhaps because of that, while it was tasty, it was lighter than I expected. Personally, I would have liked a bit more punch. (I think enjoying local flavors is one of the joys of traveling.) The careful preparation of the shells and the shrimp's digestive tract left a good impression. Strolling through the colorful streets was fun, but again, excluding meal time, the stay was only about 30 minutes! There isn't much time to leisurely check out interesting shops, so it might be good to set a purpose in advance.

③ The horseback riding by the seaside, which I was looking forward to the most!!!

All the horses were cute and smart, and it was truly healing. They are well-trained, so I think beginners can experience it with confidence. I wanted to spend more time interacting with the horses!

④ On the way back, I saw sea turtles from the car window.

⑤ We stopped in Haleiwa to pick up participants from other courses and for a restroom break, which concluded the tour.

While the places visited and experiences were excellent, I realized that the presence of the guide significantly changed my level of satisfaction.

This time, the guide, Kaz, was basically high-handed and had a scary tone. Listening to his interactions with other participants, he treated them in a condescending manner, which made those around him uncomfortable.

The information he provided about Hawaii's history and buildings during the journey was interesting, but his unique way of speaking combined with issues with the audio microphone made it hard to absorb.

Additionally, he was very strict about the meeting times. I understand it was to avoid traffic, but it felt more like he was rushing participants to avoid affecting his own working hours rather than for the sake of the participants or to keep the tour schedule.

ガイドさんが良ければもっとツアーを楽しめたと思う。
他の方も書いてますが、カズさんに当たり残念でした。

オープンの10分前に到着。
ということで、ドールプランテーション内を楽しめる実質滞在時間はたったの20分。これは不満。
とても美味しいパイナップルジュースで喉を潤し、お土産を物色。
もうちょっとガーデンを散策する時間が欲しかった。


②ノースショアハレイワ・タウンにて街並み散策とガーリックシュリンプでブランチ

ガイドさんが勧める日本人経営の店で食べる。
(このツアーのために早い時間から開けてもらっていると何度も強調されました)
そのためか、美味しいのだが思ったよりもあっさりしている。
個人的にはもう少しパンチが欲しかったかな。
(せっかくならローカルの味を楽しむのも旅の醍醐味だと思うため)
殻と背ワタが丁寧に処理されているのは好印象です。
カラフルな街並みを散策するのは楽しいが、ここでも食事時間を除くと滞在時間が30分あるかないか！？
気になるお店をゆっくり見ている暇はないので、事前に目的を定めておくといいかもしれません。


③一番楽しみにしていた海辺での乗馬！！！

どの馬も可愛くてかしこくて、本当に癒されました。
よく調教されているので初心者の方でも安心して体験できると思います。
もっと長い時間馬と触れ合っていたかった！

④帰路につく途中、車窓からウミガメを見る

⑤他コースの方をピックアップ＆トイレ休憩のためハレイワに寄り終了


訪問先・体験内容は申し分ないのですが、ガイドさんの存在ですごく満足度が変わってくることを実感しました。

今回のガイド、カズさんは基本的に高圧的で口調がコワイです。
他の参加者さんとのやり取りを聞いていても、バカにしたようなあしらうような対応をされていて、周りが不快に思う。

道中教えてくださるハワイの歴史や建物案内等は興味深い内容なのですが、独特なしゃべり方と音声マイクの不具合が相まって、入ってこない。

そして、集合時間にはすごく厳しくせっつかれます。
渋滞を避けるためなのはわかりますが、「参加者のため」「ツアー予定時刻を守るため」というよりも、ガイドさんご自身の勤務時間に影響のないよう、参加者を急かしているような印象を持ちました。

I had an absolutely amazing time!!! The boat was smaller than I expected, and there were just four groups of Japanese people, which was just right! The waves and wind were thrilling! If you're even a little worried about seasickness, taking motion sickness medication is a must to enjoy the experience! The staff was really entertaining!

I was nervous before taking off, but once we were in the air, it was so much fun, and the view of the blue ocean, Diamond Head, and Waikiki was incredible!!! I put my smartphone in a waterproof case and hung it around my neck, and I was able to take photos while flying!

When you drop into the water, they probably adjust based on the people. You can purchase the SD card with the photos taken. I paid $30 in cash. This experience was truly the best! I highly recommend it!!!

海にポチャンはたぶん人をみてして加減してくれます。

It's a parasailing tour with some really funky boat captains!
On my last day in Hawaii, I always look down at the city of Waikiki from the sky here and think, "I want to come back next time!"

とてもファンキーな船頭さんたちがいるパラセーリングツアー！
ハワイの最終日は、いつもここで、空からワイキキの街を眺めて、また次回も来よう！と思ってます！

I believe we ordered one buggy each and received confirmation, but when we arrived, only one was prepared... If that was the case, it would have been appreciated if you had clearly stated from the beginning that only one could be rented per group. I am very disappointed.

バギーをそれぞれ一台ずつオーダーしてOKを頂いたはずなんですが、行ってみたら、1台しか用意されていない、、、。
だったら、グループの人は一台しか借りられませんよと、最初から明記して頂けたらありがたかった。残念でなりません。

It was my first time surfing, and I was worried about participating alone, especially since I'm not very good at English, but I had a great time. The instructor provided careful guidance in simple English and broken Japanese, and I was able to stand on the board from the very first time. Thank you very much.

サーフィンは初めてなうえ、ひとりでの参加、しかも英語はそんなに得意ではないので参加するまでは心配でしたが、とても楽しい時間を過ごせました。
インストラクターは簡単な英語とカタコトの日本語で丁寧に指導してくださり、一回目からボードの上に立つことが出来ました。

I participated with my 7-year-old daughter.
It was her first time paragliding.
Since she loves roller coasters, I thought she would enjoy it, so we chose the 120-meter option.

When we took off, she seemed scared and cried! (laughs)
But as she got used to it, she started to enjoy it, albeit nervously. (^_^)

We hadn't planned to buy photos, but we decided to purchase them as a keepsake.
They are provided on an SD card.

7歳の娘と二人で参加しました。
娘は初めてのパラセイリングでした。
ジェットコースター好きなので、喜ぶと思い120メートルを選びました。

いざ、飛び？出すと怖かったようで、泣きました！笑
だんだんなれてくると、ビビりながらも楽しんでました(^_^)

写真は購入予定ではなかったですが、記念にと購入しました。

The luau itself was amazing. My family and I enjoyed participating in the pre show activities while learning about true polynesian culture and traditions. It's a smaller luau with only about 200 guests but with the smaller number of patrons you really get to interact and learn from everyone involved.
The host for the activities, Uncle Bob, has a great sense of humor as do the men that do the "cooking" and food prep demonstrations. These men are no joke, they even climbed up the coconut trees. They teach you about a traditional tribe welcoming and uses the guests to act as the tribes while explaining the rituals associated with welcoming guests to their community.
Not a huge selection of foods to sample but everything there was delicious. Kalua pork, teriyaki chicken, macaroni salad, green salad with macadamia nuts, rice, rolls, chantilly cake from Teds Bakery and a coconut type of jello dessert.
The family band that played music during dinner was Amazing. Those kids can really sing! The dancing was very traditional, not just girls in coconut bras and hula skirts, but real polynesian dancing showcasing dances from a variety of the polynesian islands. I was a VIP guest and we were right at eye level with the stage but it looked like most people would have quite a good view of the stage. We also got to go to the buffet first and got great souvenirs. My husband and I got hand fans, my son got a wooden Maui-type hook necklace and my daughter got a wood beaded bracelet that said Hawaii with hibiscus flowers printed on it. After dinner and show on your way out you were able to speak more with the staff and dancers and take pictures with them.
If it was your birthday we all sang happy birthday and you got an extra piece of cake, if it was your anniversary or honeymoon they brought you onstage for a slow dance and gave you a nut lei.
All this plus you get entry into the Waimea valley where you can swim in a waterfall and see beautiful trees and foliage!

What an amazing time we had on our sunset cruise that left right outside of our hotel (Hilton Hawaiian Village). The staff on the boat were incredibly friendly, and we enjoyed chatting with them as we sailed along. The drinks and snacks were great, and the best part of all were the breath-taking views, especially watching the sun set! We went with another couple with whom we were traveling, and we all put this activity toward the top of our list of memorable things we did while visiting.

I was impressed that we could see fish up close! It was exciting and fun to ride in a submarine on the sea. We participated as a three-generation family, and everyone was very satisfied.

The staff were very kind. They proactively offered guidance for snorkeling and took photos at the sandbar. The BBQ hamburger for lunch was incredibly delicious. Thank you for a wonderful time.
