The combination of the rainy season, a thunderstorm a few days ago, and cloudy weather left the sea murky, so I was disappointed that I couldn't go when the conditions were at their best. However, I was thrilled to encounter a manta ray!

雨季と、数日前の雷雨と、くもりの天気の条件が重なって、海のにごりが残ってて、ベストの状態のときに行けなかった残念さはありましが、マンタに出会えて、テンション上がりました‼

Our guide was Robert, who was born and raised in Hawaii. He was very knowledgeable about local information and entertained us with various stories during the bus ride! The tour included a lot of activities like the Dole Plantation, Haleiwa, horseback riding, and sea turtles, making it a truly satisfying trip!

ハワイ生まれ、ハワイ育ちのロバートさんがガイドさんでした。さすがローカルな情報に詳しくて、バスの移動中もいろいろなお話をしてくださり、私たちを楽しませてくれました！
ツアー内容もドールプランテーション、ハレイワ、乗馬、ウミガメと盛りだくさんで本当に満足な旅になりました！

I participated in the encounter.
Good points:
The bus is large, so it's less likely to make you feel sick.
It's sufficient for elementary school lower grades.
You can feed the birds as much as you want.

Bad points:
Each guardian needs to be a separate adult, which is not suitable for families with many children. I was charged a change fee of 99 USD when I requested a change.
The tour price is high.
The facilities are old, and the food is not great. I should have brought my own.
The meeting time for the return was at 14:30, which was busy and tiring.

Result:
If I had been familiar with it, I could have arranged it differently.

バスが大型なので酔いづらい。
小学生低学年には充分。
とりの餌やりはやり放題。

悪いところ
保護者が１人１人ずつ別々な大人が必要で子供が多い家族には不向き。変更を求められて変更手数料とかで99USDを取られました。
ツアー代金が高い。
施設が古く食事も大したことない。持参すればよかった。
帰りの集合時間が14:30で忙しくて疲れた。

結果
慣れていれば別な方法で手配すればよかった。

Waking up early was tough for me (since I'm not good at it), but I was very satisfied to meet a pod of dolphins. We were able to snorkel with about 20 dolphins for around 20 minutes (it might have been longer!).

On the bus to the port, a Japanese female tour guide taught us a lot about dolphins, which was very informative. It was a bit cold since it was February, but I rented a wetsuit for $10, so I managed to avoid catching a cold on the way back.

We got seasick and felt a bit unwell during the trip, but we still managed to have fun! A professional photographer took pictures during the tour, and you can purchase them for $50. The photographer was taking photos of participants on the boat and diving to capture shots at the dolphin points. We didn't buy any this time since we couldn't check what kind of photos were taken before purchasing, but many other participants ended up buying them!

Whether the weather is good or how many dolphins you encounter depends on luck that day, but I've never been on a dolphin tour where I didn't see any, so you can be sure you'll have a high chance of encountering them! It was a fun tour!

早起きが大変でした(苦手なので)が、イルカの群れと会うことができて、大満足でした。
２０頭くらいのイルカの群れと一緒に、２０分くらい(もっと長かったかもしれない)シュノーケリングできました！
港までのバスの中では、ツアーガイドの日本人女性の方にイルカのことを詳しく教えてもらい勉強になりました。
２月だったので少し寒かったですが、ウエットスーツを10ドルで借りたので何とか風邪は引かずに帰って来れました。
私たちは船酔いし、途中気分が悪くなってしまいましたが、それでも楽しむことができました！
ツアーの様子は、プロのカメラマンさんが写真に撮ってくれていて、５０ドルで購入することができます。カメラマンさんは、船の上では参加者にカメラを向けてくれていましたし、イルカのポイントでは潜って撮っていました。どんな写真が撮れているのか購入前に確認できなかったちめ、私たちは今回は購入しませんでしたが、他の参加者の皆さんは結構購入されている方が多かったです！
天気が良いかや、どのくらいイルカと出会えるかは当日の運次第ですが、イルカのツアーでこれまでに出会えなかったことはないので、高確率で出会えること間違いなしです！
楽しいツアーでしたー！

The instructor was really fun, kind, and we were able to enjoy ourselves while having a good time. There were a lot of corals on the ground, and I got hurt when I fell, but the experience was so enjoyable that I forgot about it. Even someone like me, who isn't good at sports, was able to stand up a little, and my friends were getting up multiple times to do the aloha pose. I made the best memories!

インストラクターの方がすごく楽しくて優しくてわいわいしながらすることができました。地面にサンゴがいっぱいで落下時に怪我をしてしまいましたが、それを忘れるくらい楽しく体験できました。運動下手な私も少し立つことができ、周りの友達も何度も立ってアロハポーズをしたりしていました。
最高の思い出ができました！

I signed up for Dolphin Aloha, and both my 10-year-old and 2-year-old sons had a great time. The site mentioned to bring sandals and towels, but they turned out to be unnecessary for this course (there are a few moments where you might get a little wet, but they inform you in advance).

Before the course, the staff checks both hands. My wife was a bit worried because she had nail art, but they checked one spot on each hand, and since there were few protrusions and it was coated, we received the OK after the check.

Cameras and phones are not allowed, so you can purchase photos taken by the staff later (optional). A passport is required for credit card use, but a photo of it was also acceptable.

The course was organized into a group of only Japanese participants, and the guidance was provided in Japanese, which made it easy to participate with peace of mind. During regular periods, about half of the participants are Japanese, and during busy periods, it's about 80%.

ドルフィンアロハを申し込みましたが、10歳及び2歳の息子、二人とも楽しんでいました。
サイトにはサンダルとタオル持参とかいてあったのですが、このコースでは結果的に不要でした（少し濡れる場面はありますが、事前に言っていただけます）
コース前には両手を係の方がチェックされます。妻がネイルアートをしていたので少し心配していたのですが、両手一カ所ずつで、突起も少なくコーティングもしてあったからか、チェックしていただいた上でOKをいただきました。
カメラ、携帯が使えないので、係の方が捕られた写真をあとで購入する形です（任意）クレジットカード利用時にはパスポートが必要ですが、写真でもOKでした。
コースは日本人だけのグループが作られて、日本語で案内が行われ、安心して参加できました。通常期で半分、繁忙期だと8割が日本人とのことです。

we met 1 shark, very good experience. but the timing we chosen wrongly, too early in the morning makes us freezing. no place to change in the ship, so you have to settle with your towel and change only when you reach the land.

Our guide was excellent. The problem was that the monsoon rains from the night before had caused the river mud to cloud the sea water making the see through aspect of the kayak non-functional

It was a family trip to Hawaii!
Although it wasn't my first time paragliding, as expected in Honolulu, when you go high up while paragliding, you can see the beautiful town of Honolulu and Diamond Head. The weather was cloudy, but it was amazing!!

家族でのハワイ旅行でした！
パラセイリング自体は初めてではなかったのですが。
さすがホノルル、パラセイリングで高くあがると綺麗なホノルルの町やダイヤモンドヘッドが見渡せて、天気は曇っていましたが最高でした！！

I had a reservation for 16:00, but there was heavy rain and strong winds during the day. When I inquired around 13:00, I was told that the event was still scheduled to proceed as planned, so I waited in my swimsuit in the cold at the pickup time.

After waiting, I was called to the lobby, and sure enough, I received a cancellation notice from the operating company.

I think it was too late to notify us of the cancellation after the pickup time had passed. Even though the weather in Hawaii can change quickly, I would expect a decision to be made at least by the morning of the day. Thanks to this, I wasted my time.

16:00～でこちらを予約していましたが、お昼の時点で大雨・強風。
13:00ごろ問い合わせたときは「予定通り催行予定」とのことだったので、寒い中ピックアップ時間に水着の状態で待っていました。
待っていたらロビーの方から電話があるとのことで呼ばれ、出てみたら案の定催行会社から中止の連絡でした。

ピックアップ時間が過ぎてから中止の連絡は遅すぎると思います。
いくらハワイの天気が変わりやすいからといっても、せめて当日の朝には判断してほしいです。おかげで時間を無駄にしました。

Easy and no hassle transport from Waikiki to Diamond Head. On time pick up, drops off at the visitors centre so you don’t have to walk from the bus stop. Good banter and information given by driver. Made the experience more enjoyable having a quick and convenient way to get to and from the hike location.

While there is an element of luck involved since it's nature, I believe the 90% encounter rate is thanks to the expertise of the renowned Dolphin University.

About ten minutes into the boat ride, we had our first dive, where we only encountered a sea turtle, but during the second dive, we encountered dolphins. We saw dozens of them and were able to swim alongside them (though we couldn't dive since we were wearing life jackets).

We were also able to get very close to the sea turtles. While snorkeling, we were surrounded by many fish. We even got to go whale watching, and we clearly saw the tail of a whale, which is said to bring happiness when spotted.

It was the best experience, one that I doubt I will ever have again.

My wife mentioned that she found it tough because she can't swim and is sensitive to the cold, but this is a tour I want to participate in every time I come to Hawaii.

If you prepare well with cold weather gear (dry towels, long sleeves, wetsuits) and measures for seasickness, I think it will be an extremely satisfying tour.

Even if you don't see dolphins, the guide will keep the atmosphere lively, so I believe you'll have a fun time without a doubt.

I can confidently recommend this tour.

自然相手なので、運の要素はありますが、遭遇率90%は、名門イルカ大学さんの腕だと思います。

乗船10分程で、一回目のダイブ、そこではイルカには会えずにウミガメのみ、二回目のダイブでイルカと遭遇。何十匹と見えて、しかも一緒に泳ぐ（ライフジャケット来てるので、潜ることはできない）ことはできました。

ウミガメも目と鼻の先まで近づくことができました。
スノーケリングでは沢山の魚に囲まれます。
ホエールウォッチングも出来て、見ると幸せになるというクジラの尻尾までくっきりと見えました。

二度とこんな体験は出来ないだろう、というくらい最高の体験でした。

嫁は、泳げないのと、寒さに弱いのとで、もうきつい、と言ってましたが、私はハワイに来るたびには必ず参加したいツアーです。

防寒対策（乾いたタオル、長袖、ウェットスーツ）と船酔い対策をしっかりしておけば極めて満足感の高いツアーになるのではないでしょうか。

たとえ、イルカに会えなくとも、ガイドさんが盛り上げてくれるので、楽しい時間になることは間違いないと思います。

自信を持ってオススメできるツアーです。

The crew members that took us out we not only informative, but they made the trip fun! They took their time to make sure we were having a nice time....

I participated in mid-February. It took about an hour by rental car from the center of Waikiki to get there. The staff kindly taught us how to ride, and there were a total of five of us: one staff member and four tour participants, as we explored the vast ranch for about an hour and a half.

In the middle of the course, we took commemorative photos on a hill with a great view, which became a wonderful memory.

While there aren't as many activities as at places like Kualoa Ranch, I highly recommend it for those who want to enjoy horseback riding at a leisurely pace!

2月の中旬に参加させていただきました。ワイキキの中心地からレンタカーで約一時間で着きました。
スタッフの方に丁寧に乗り方等を教えていただき、スタッフ１名、ツアー参加者４名の計５名で広大な牧場を約一時間半かけて回りました。
コースの中盤では見晴らしの良い丘の上で記念撮影をしてもらい、とても良い思い出になりました。

クアロア牧場のように乗馬以外のアクティビティがたくさんある訳ではないですが、乗馬だけをゆっくり楽しみたい方にはとてもオススメです！

Guides were GREAT, we saw MULTIPLE turtles (one even swam right up by us) and we also saw dolphins. We got to do a little bit of sailing at the end while drying off, having a beverage and eating the provided snacks. It was exactly what we wanted to do and I loved that it did not take up the entire day so we still had plenty of time to get get lunch and spend the rest of the day on the beach :)

I participated with four adults and my one-and-a-half-year-old nephew. I was hoping for low tide at the sandbar, but it was up to my knees and thighs. Still, the weather was great, and I was amazed at how beautiful it was! My nephew brought a child-sized float and had a blast floating around!

We played and had a BBQ on the boat! The hamburgers were absolutely delicious, and I even finished what my nephew left behind! The meat was freshly grilled, so it was incredibly tasty! My father is quite particular about food, but he keeps saying how good the hamburgers were since we returned home.

It was really delicious! They were considerate of my nephew, making his hamburger early and checking on him to keep him happy. Everyone was so kind to him! After the meal, we went sea turtle watching and snorkeling, which was also a lot of fun!

It started to drizzle a little, but it stopped quickly, and we enjoyed ourselves completely. The crew was fantastic, and it was such a fun tour! I'm really glad we booked this tour! My family is still reminiscing about our memories in Hawaii. Once my nephew is old enough to remember, I plan to book this tour again!

大人４人と１歳半の甥と一緒に参加しました。サンドバーはくるぶしくらいの干潮を願ってましたが、膝上、太ももくらいでした。それでも天気が良くてめっちゃ綺麗でびっくりしました！！甥っ子は、子供用の浮き輪を持参し、ぷかぷか浮かんで楽しんでくれていました！笑
遊んで船の上でBBQ！これまたハンバーガーが絶品で甥っ子の残りも食べてしまいました、、、笑
肉が焼きたてやからめっちゃ美味しかったです！！！！
父も食にはうるさい方なのですが、
BBQで食べたハンバーガーが美味かったと
帰国してからもずっと言ってます。笑

ご飯の後は、ウミガメウォッチングとシュノーケリングをしました。

この辺りから小雨が降りましたがすぐ止んで全然楽しめました(^○^)

I attempted the 120m jump. The day I had reserved was canceled due to bad weather, but they were able to reschedule for a time that worked for us the next day! The pickup was also on time.
The boat does sway quite a bit. It feels nice once you're flying, but those who are sensitive to swinging like on a swing set might feel a bit nauseous.
When I actually flew, it felt like a very long time, and I was able to enjoy the scenery thoroughly.

120mに挑戦しました。予約していた日が悪天候だったため、当日にキャンセルになってしまったのですが、翌日の私たちの都合にあった時間に変更していただけました！ピックアップも時間通りでした。
船は結構揺れます。飛んでからも気持ちいいですが、ブランコのような揺れが苦手な方は少し酔うかもしれません。
実際飛んでみるととても長い時間のように感じて、十分景色を楽しむこともできました。

I participated because I wanted to try garlic shrimp and go horseback riding.
North Shore (Haleiwa) Valley Horseback Riding Plan

I was picked up at the hotel and headed to the North Shore, stopping by the Dole Plantation before arriving in Haleiwa. Before horseback riding, I aimed for the garlic shrimp at Camaron—it's a Japanese restaurant, and the shrimp was plump and creamy; I finished it in no time (laughs).

From here, we split into the horseback riding group and those who wanted to explore Haleiwa. The couple leading the horseback riding was very bright and friendly; the husband was a former polo league player. After a brief lecture, we set off right away. No helmets were required, which felt refreshing, and we rode through the forest, which was an exhilarating experience.

The horses are well-trained, so I think even beginners can enjoy it.

After horseback riding, we returned to Haleiwa, and if you're lucky, you can go to a beach where sea turtles are present. We were lucky to see two turtles on the beach! It seems the chances are higher in the afternoon.

A word of caution: since they are protected animals, you shouldn't get closer than 3 meters or touch them, as there is a fine for that.

It was the best tour!

日本人のお店ですプリプリクリーミーあっという間に完食（笑）

ここから乗馬組とハレイワを観光する方と別れ乗馬に、とっても明るくフレンドリーなご夫妻でご主人は元ポロリーグの選手だったそうです。簡単にレクチャーを受けて直ぐに出発します。
ヘルメット着用は無しで気分爽快、森の中を進み気持ち良さ爆発ー

しっかり調教されているので初めての方でも楽しめると思います。

乗馬が終わりハレイワに戻り、運が良ければカメさんがいるビーチに行くと
2匹もビーチに上がっていてラッキー！！
午後からの確率が高いようです。

ここで注意、保護動物なんで3ｍ以内に近づかない・触ると罰金だそうです。

最高のツアーでした。

This was my first time participating. From a distance, the 110m height looked quite intimidating, but once I actually tried it, I felt a rush of excitement and had a lot of fun. Since we were in a small boat and the waves were a bit high, I recommend that those who are prone to motion sickness take some medication before joining. The crew members were also a fun bunch, and they made the activity enjoyable with their lively spirit. They provide explanations in Japanese, so I think you can relax and enjoy yourself. It was a bit cloudy and chilly, so I think having a jacket or a bath towel would be helpful. They also accommodate requests like wanting to stay completely dry or wanting to get your legs wet. I would love to participate again!

初めての参加でした。
110mで遠くから見るとかなり高いのでドキドキしましたが、実際にやってみるとかなり興奮し、楽しかったです。
小さなボートでやや波も高かったので、酔いやすい方は酔い止めを飲んで参加されることをお勧めします。
クルーのお兄さんたちも愉快な人たちで、ノリノリの中で楽しくアクティビティを行ってくれました。日本語で説明してくれるので安心して楽しめると思います。
曇りでやや寒かったですが、上着やバスタオルがあるといいと思います。全く濡れないようにしたい、脚まで浸かりたい、などの要望も聞いてくれます。また参加したいです！

I wanted to experience horseback riding, so I searched online and found this page. I was unsure about the shuttle service, but since there weren't many options and it seemed like there would be a long wait, I decided not to include it.

At the beginning, there was an explanation in Japanese about how to guide the horses, so I felt reassured. I chose the one-hour course, which was just the right length, and I enjoyed it while looking at the ocean.

I took the city bus to the ranch, and the bus stop was close, so there were no issues. It was great to have the ocean right in front of me.

乗馬を体験したいと思いネットを検索したらこのページを見つけました。
送迎付きか迷いましたが、あまり本数がなく待ち時間が長そうだったので送迎はつけませんでした。

初めに、日本語のビデオで誘導の仕方などの説明があったので不安はありませんでした。
1時間コースを選びましたが丁度いい長さで、海を眺めながら楽しめました。

市バスで牧場に行きましたがバス停も近くて問題ありませんでした。
海も目の前なので良かったです。

It was cloudy, not rainy, on the day of the trip. I was happy to see more sea turtles than I expected. I even saw baby sea turtles! I thought the sandbar was a bit disappointing as it was only about waist-deep, making it feel more like an island. However, I was satisfied with the snorkeling and saw a lot of fish. If I could wish for anything, I would have liked to explore the sandbar properly and snorkel a bit longer. It was a little chilly that day, so I appreciate the consideration shown.

当日雨ではなく曇りでした。
海ガメが思っていたよりたくさん見る事ができ嬉しかったです。
子海ガメも見れました！
サンドバーは腰に浸かるくらいで島かな？とは思い少し残念でした。
しかしシュノーケルでたくさんお魚見れて、満足でした。
欲を言うならば、サンドバーをきちんと見たかったのと、もう少しシュノーケルしていたかったです。
当日少し寒かったので気を利かせて頂いた事だとは思うのですが。

It's a zipline experience in a beautiful farm that stretches as far as the eye can see. I was torn between this and Kualoa, but considering just the zipline, I think this was the better choice. In between ziplines, you cross suspension bridges and climb ropes. Since this place focuses solely on ziplining, if you want to combine it with other activities like horseback riding or jeeping, Kualoa might be a better option. When I went, there were no staff who spoke Japanese, and I was the only Japanese person, but the staff and other participants were friendly. According to the cheerful bus driver, there were even Japanese grandmothers who couldn't speak any English but participated using gestures. Since I was there alone, a family of five from Australia looked out for me, and other American participants often struck up conversations. Even if your English is limited, it's perfectly fine to initiate conversation or ask the staff for help when needed.

見渡す限り広がる美しい農場の中でのジップラインです。クアロアと迷いましたが、ジップラインだけで考えると、こちらで良かったと思います。ジップラインの合間に、吊り橋を渡ったり、登り棒ならぬ登り紐を登ったりします。ここは、ジップラインだけを遂行しているので、乗馬やジープなど、他のアクティビティと合わせたい場合は、クアロアが良いかもしれません。私が行った時は、日本語が話せるスタッフは辞めてしまっていて、日本人も私だけでしたが、スタッフや回りの参加者はフレンドリーでした。陽気なバスの運転手さんによると、英語が全く話せない日本人のお婆さん達も身振り手振りで参加したりしていたみたいです。私は、一人参加でしたので、オーストラリアの家族5人が気にかけてくれて、他のアメリカ人参加者もよく話かけてくれました。片言でも、自分から話かけたり、助けて欲しい時は遠慮なくスタッフに声をかければ大丈夫ですよ。

We had a wonderful time on the trip. The snorkel is the first part of the event. There were numerous fish and handful of large turtles. Then there is a brief sail around the area. On our sail we encountered humpback whales and a massive pod of dolphins.

I realize, to a degree the whole adventure is a crap shoot. Someone that encountered no turtles, whales, or dolphins might rate the trip less highly, but we felt this was well worth our time and highly recommend.

Neither I nor my wife had been horseback riding before. The folks here were friendly, had everything necessary ready to go, and the horses were docile and we'll trained. Only complaint was that the porta-potty available was pretty revolting. There wasn't much guiding of the horse required as they knew the way and we're motivated by dinner upon return.

It was a little hard to get to (the hotels are so close together) so remember to get there early! We got there just in time. The boat is beautiful docked on the beach. The crew were so wonderful and friendly. We saw a bunch of turtles! It was amazing when they would surface for air RIGHT NEXT TO US! I wish the water was clearer, but it was still a great experience. Then we got to lounge in the boat and sail over off of Diamond Head. We saw spinner dolphins spinning out of the water. There were about 10 other people on the boat with us, but still cozy. They offer free snacks and you can purchase drinks (water, juice and alcohol) on the boat. We were back in time to join my family for lunch! perfect morning excursion at a great price!

I participated with my 6-year-old daughter. Of course, the trainer spoke English, so I was worried about my limited listening skills, but they kindly taught us using body language, which made it a lot of fun. It might be reassuring to have some basic swimming skills. The dolphins were truly adorable, and both my daughter and I were captivated. Although it was only 25 minutes, I think it was just the right amount of time for a 6-year-old in terms of physical stamina. The next day, my daughter seemed to have the best memories, as she didn't want to leave the dolphin lagoon at all.

６歳娘と参加しました。
もちろんですがトレーナーさんは英語ですので、私のつたないリスニング能力では心配でしたが親切にボディランゲージで教えてくれたのでとても楽しめました。
軽い泳ぎの能力はあった方が安心かもしれません。
イルカは本当に可愛くて、娘も私も虜になりました。
２５分ですが６歳児には体力的に丁度良かったと思います。
次の日イルカのラグーンから全然離れないくらい娘には最高の思い出になったようです。

We participated as a couple. There were about five groups at the same time, but only one other group was Japanese besides us. The guide explained everything in Japanese.

I have a fear of heights, but after seeing the experiences here, I booked the 150m jump. Watching others jump made me regret not choosing a lower height... However, since the view was just the sea as far as the eye could see, I surprisingly didn't feel the height and wasn't scared.

What was more challenging was the seasickness. We took motion sickness medication beforehand, but it was still tough, so I think it's better to avoid scheduling meals before the activity or plans after the flight.

The flight lasted just over five minutes, but we enjoyed it. The weather was a bit bad, so I want to try again when the weather is nice!

夫婦で参加しました。
同じ時間帯には5組ほどでしたが日本人は私たちともう一組だけ。ガイドのお兄さんは日本語で説明してくれました。
高所恐怖症なのですがこちらの体験談を見て150mで予約。他の人が飛んでいるのを見て「やっぱりもっと低いのにすればよかった…」と後悔しましたが、見渡す限り海なので意外と高さは感じず怖さはなかったです。
それよりも船酔いで大変でした。私たち夫婦は事前に酔い止めを飲んでいましたがそれでも辛かったので、アクティビティ前の食事やフライト後に予定を入れるのは控えた方がいいと思います。
飛行時間は5分少しですが楽しめました。少し天気が悪かったのでまた天気が良い時にリベンジしたいです！

You can make a reservation from the Kualoa website, but I was anxious about entering my credit card information on a first-time and overseas site, so I booked through this site from Japan. I scheduled my reservation for 10:45.

On the day of the visit, I purchased a one-day pass for THE BUS from Waikiki and took the No. 8 bus to Ala Moana Center around 8 AM. I got off at Ala Moana Bl + Ala Moana Center and took the No. 55 bus from the bus stop right in front. After about 1 hour and 30 minutes, I arrived at Kamehameha Hwy + Opp Kualoa Ranch at 9:30.

I passed through the front shop and handed my voucher at a kind of general counter. The lady at the reception said, "Eleven forty," and I thought, "11:45? But my reservation is for 10:45!" I kept saying, "No! Ten forty!" but she kept responding with "Eleven forty." I was frustrated, but since I could only speak basic English, I had no choice but to back down. I spent a wasted two hours eating a hamburger in the cafeteria and taking pictures with horses.

At 11:45, there was a simple horseback riding explanation in Japanese video. We started riding around noon, wandering through the mountains. It was a mountain and sea course for one hour, but mostly on mountain paths. However, it was a fun hour.

The weather was just right for this time of year, and I was perfectly fine in a short-sleeved shirt, shorts, and sneakers. However, it might be cold if it rains. Also, be careful as the raincoats they lend you are dirty.

I thought the start time was strange, and when I returned to the hotel and checked the voucher on the site, it said, "Check-In Time: 10:45." In small letters above it, it said, "Kualoa Ranch Horseback Ride/11:45." The receptionist was correct!

However, I was sure I had booked for 10:45 on VELTRA, so I checked the Kualoa Ranch page on the VELTRA site.

When I clicked on the start time of 10:45 on the application screen, it said, "Check in at the Kualoa Ranch ticket office at 10:15," "Enjoy your horseback riding time at 10:45," "There will be a Japanese video briefing," and "Activity ends at 11:45."

Something seems off...

...I got it!

When you book for 10:45, the voucher's Check-In Time becomes 10:15, and if the start time on the site is 11:45, then the voucher's Check-In Time becomes 10:45.

It’s unclear whether there was a communication issue from VELTRA to Kualoa or if my reservation for 10:45 was full and pushed to 11:45. If the card you receive in exchange for the voucher is for 11:45, then after going to the stables at 11:45 and a 10-minute explanation, the horseback riding time would be from 12:00 to 1:00.

The horseback riding and atmosphere were ★★★★★, the cafeteria was not clean ★★★, the price of $88 without transportation was too high ★★, and the man at the entrance information counter could speak a little Japanese ★★★.

With 1.5 hours of bus travel + 2 hours of waiting + 1.5 hours of horseback riding (including explanation) + 1.5 hours of bus travel + 0.5 hours of bus waiting, the total is 7 hours! Just one hour of horseback riding took 7 hours! Considering the precious travel time, the cost performance is ★. Overall ★★.

The bus indeed takes time.

It might be best to rent a car and visit Kualoa + Polynesian + North Shore in the morning, or Kualoa + Kailua (Lanikai) + Sea Life Park + Blowhole in the morning.

初めてのサイト＆海外サイトにクレカ情報を入力するのに不安がありましたので、日本からこのサイトで予約しました。
予約は開始10:45にしました。

当日、ワイキキからTHE BUSの1日券を購入して、クヒオ通り8時頃のアラモアセンター行きNo.8に乗車。
Ala Moana Bl + Ala Moana Centerで降り、
すぐ前方のバス停からNo.55のバスに乗ります。
約1時間30分でKamehameha Hwy + Opp Kualoa Ranch下車して9時半に到着。

正面売店を通り抜けて総合カウンターみたいなとこでVOUCHERを渡します。
そこで受付のおばさんから「イレブンフォーティ」と…
11:45？…予約は10:45だぞ！　「ノー！テンフォーティ！」
何度も「テンフォーティ！」と言いましたが、「イレブンフォーティ」との返事。
ムカつきましたが、単語英語しか話せない私は引き下がるしかありません。
食堂でハンバーガーを食べたり馬の写真撮ったりして、無駄な2時間を過ごしました。

11:45から日本語ビデオにて簡単な乗馬の説明。
12時頃から乗馬。山の中をウロウロとします。
山+海コース＜1時間＞ですが、ほとんど山道ばかりです。
でも楽しい1時間でした。

気候的にはこの時期がちょうど良い気温で半袖、短パン、運動靴で全然平気です。
でも雨が降れば寒いかも。また貸してくれるカッパは汚いですから注意。

それにしても開始時間が変だと思い、
ホテルに帰ってからサイトでVOUCHERを確認したところ、
「Check-In Time:10:45」
その上に小さい字で「Kualca Ranch Horseback Ride/11:45」？？？？
ネットで訳すと「クアロア牧場乗馬11:45」！！受付嬢が合っていた！

しかしVELTRAで確かに10:45で予約したはずと、
申し込んだVELTRAサイトのクアロア牧場を確認してみました。

申し込み画面の開始時刻10:45をクリックすると
「10:15 クアロア牧場内チケットオフィスにてチェックイン」
「10:45 乗馬での楽しい時間をお過ごしください。」
「日本語ビデオのブリーフィング（説明）があります。」
「11:45 アクティビティ終了」

何かおかしい…

…わかりました！

開始時刻10:45で申し込むとVOUCHERのCheck-In Timeが10:15になり、
サイトの開始時刻を11:45とするとVOUCHERのCheck-In Timeが10:45になるワケ。

VELTRAからクアロアへの伝わり方に問題があるのか、
10:45開始の予約がいっぱいで11:45にまわされたのか不明です。
VOUCHERと引き換えに貰うカードが11:45なら、
11:45に馬小屋に行き約10分の説明後、
12時から13時までの1時間が乗馬TIMEとなります。

乗馬と雰囲気は☆５
食堂が綺麗で無く☆３
料金は送迎無しで88ドルは高過ぎで☆２
入口の案内カウターのおじさんが日本語を少しできるので☆３
バス移動が1時間半＋待ち時間2時間＋乗馬（説明）1.5時間

合計7時間！たった1時間の乗馬に7時間！
貴重な旅行期間中と考えれば、コスパは☆１です。

やはりバスは時間がかかります。

レンタカーを借りて朝いちクアロア＋ポリネシア＋ノースショアを周るか、
朝いちクアロア＋カイルワ（ラニカイ）＋シーライフパーク＋潮吹き岩に行くのが
ベストでは無いでしょうか。

It was our first trip to Hawaii for our honeymoon. We used this tour to visit Kualoa Ranch, which has been a filming location for Jurassic Park and many other movies! Compared to many other tour companies, this one was more affordable, and the experience was the same.

We boarded a large bus at the pickup location (our hotel) in the morning, and since it was early, everyone on the bus was sleeping. During the ride, we filled out a survey for our desired activities, and upon arrival, we were given a schedule for the day. Each person then went to the designated meeting points for their chosen activities.

We chose the movie location tour, jungle exploration, and ocean voyage tour. On the movie location tour, we were able to take photos next to that famous tree from Jurassic Park. The Japanese explanations at various filming points were very clear and helpful. The jungle exploration was guided in English, but it was still enjoyable even with a basic understanding! Here, we were taken to several filming locations, which were different from those on the movie location tour, and personally, I found this part to be even more impressive. The ocean voyage involved getting on a boat and heading out to sea, where we saw many sea turtles, which was truly satisfying. Unfortunately, the weather was cloudy, so it would have been even more amazing if it had been sunny!

Horseback riding and the buggies also looked like a lot of fun. I would love to use this tour again!

ジュラシックパーク、ワールドや数々の映画のロケ地になっているクアロアランチにこちらのツアーを利用して行ってきました！たくさんのツアー会社のものと比較してもこちらの方が割安！体験内容も変わりありません。
朝迎えの大型バスにピックアップ場所（滞在ホテルでした）で乗り込み、クアロアランチへ。朝早いのもありバスの中はみんな寝ています。バスの中で希望するアクティビティのアンケートを取り、現地に到着した際に1日の予定表を渡され、各自で各アクティビティの集合場所に行き体験するといった感じでした。
我々は、映画ロケ地ツアーとジャングル探検、オーシャンボヤージツアーを選択。映画ロケ地ツアーではジュラシックパークで有名なあの木の側で写真が撮れます。また様々な撮影ポイントで日本語の説明をしてくれるのでとてもわかりやすかったです。ジャングル探検では英語ガイドでしたがなんとなくの理解でも楽しめます！ここでも数カ所ロケ地に案内されますが、どれもロケ地ツアーとは別のところで個人的にはこちらの方が凄かったです。オーシャンボヤージも船にのり海に出ますが、船上からウミガメが沢山見れ本当に満足いくものでした。天気があいにくの曇り空でしたので、晴れていたらもっと素晴らしかったことでしょう！
乗馬や、バギーもとても楽しそうでした。また利用させていただきたいです。

I challenged myself to 150 meters. It was my first time, but the local instructor efficiently helped me put on the equipment, so I was able to ride smoothly. I was a bit disappointed that the time was shorter than I expected, but it was a fantastic experience, and I definitely want to do it again! The service that takes photos (for a fee) was also great.
