It is often featured in guidebooks, and I had always wanted to visit it when I went to Hawaii. There were some waves, but I was able to see the clear ocean. There were also several sea turtles popping their heads out of the water, which was adorable. Walking in the ocean felt really nice. Initially, I was scheduled to board on the second day of my stay, but unfortunately, the second and third days were booked for a private group, so I boarded two days before my return. I had checked the weather forecast for the latter half of my stay and found that the weather was not looking good, so it wasn't a cloudless sunset as predicted, but with some clouds, I was able to enjoy the changing colors of the clouds.

Most of the passengers were foreigners (I was also a foreigner in Hawaii!), primarily Americans, with only one other Japanese couple on board. Although Japanese was not spoken, I didn't feel inconvenienced during the approximately one-and-a-half-hour cruise while listening to Hawaiian music.

Since it was a catamaran, I expected less rocking, but unfortunately, the wind was strong and the waves were high, so it rocked quite a bit. My wife is not fond of boats, but she took motion sickness medication, so she was fine. The kids were thrilled.

I have also been on the Hilton's submarine, so there wasn't anything new for me to see from the boat looking at Waikiki, but those who are boarding for the first time will likely enjoy it.

Two drink tickets were distributed for alcohol, allowing for beer or champagne. Junk food and teriyaki chicken were served, but since this is a cocktail cruise, don't expect much in terms of food. If you get a good sunset, it will be fantastic!

当初は、滞在2日目に乗船予定でしたが、あいにく団体貸切に2日目、3日目がとられてしまい帰国2日前に乗船しました。天気予報で滞在後半、天気が芳しくないことを調べていたので、予報通り雲の無いサンセットではありませんでしたが、そこそこ雲があると雲の色の変化も楽しめます。
ほとんどが外人（私もHAWAIIでは外人！！）アメリカ人で日本人はもう1カップルのみでした。
日本語は通じませんが、Hawaiiannを聞きながら約1時間半のクルーズには不便を感じませんでした。
双胴船なので揺れが少ないはずでしたが、あいにく風が強く波も高かったので、結構揺れました。妻は船が苦手でしたが酔い止めb薬を飲んでいたので大丈夫でした。
子供は大喜びでした。
小生は、ヒルトンのサブマリンも乗船しているので、船から見るWAIKIKIに目新しさはありませんでしたが、初めて乗られる方はには喜ばれるでしょう。
アルコールは２杯までただのチケットが配られ、ビールやシャンパンが飲めます。ジャンクフードとチキンの照り焼き風が出ましたが、カクテルクルーズなので料理は期待しないでください。
良いサンセットにあたるとサイコーでしょう！！

This was my eighth trip to Hawaii, but it was my first experience at the sandbar. The knee-deep water in the middle of the ocean was very mysterious, and the contrast between the sand and the sea was beautiful. When we went, it was not the season for the sand to be exposed, but I would like to visit again during low tide. I thought the staff was friendly and their service was good, but I wish they would refrain from smoking at the sandbar. Even though there are no legal restrictions, I wonder why anyone would smoke in such a beautiful natural place. There were even comments encouraging smoking among participants, and I saw people walking around the sandbar with cigarettes in their mouths. It was uncomfortable on the water.

My husband, 7 month old son, and I had a great experience with this activity during snorkeling and snuba. We got lucky, and one of the guest/crew members watched our son (who mostly slept) so we had the opportunity to both go together for the snorkeling and snuba. The catamaran we took was a great ship. The crew was very accommodating, nice, funny, and took care of everyone, including a woman who lost her camera in the water, and when my hubby got a little overwhelmed in the beginning during snuba. The food was okay, but definitely helped after a good amount of time time in the water. I would defintely do it again. The great crew actually made a huge difference too!

Due to my schedule, I couldn't participate for long and joined the morning session. I only caught a glimpse of the sea turtles from the boat, but I was impressed by the beauty of the sandbar! When getting off the boat, the water was up to my stomach, and in the shallow areas, it was up to my knees. I'm so glad I bought a waterproof camera!

The weather was a bit gloomy during the cruise, with some light rain, but we were able to see a rainbow, and by the time we arrived, it was sunny! It must be even more sparkling and beautiful on a clear day.

Since I was at the back during snorkeling, the visibility was poor, but I really wanted to go to the sandbar, so I was happy about that. The early finish allowed me to spend the afternoon meaningfully. The warm tea and sandwiches served on the way back were delicious!

I hope I can take my time a bit more next time.

We went on a morning tour as a couple. We took three large buses to the port. I think almost everyone was Japanese.

Upon arriving at the port, we split into three groups and took a boat to our destination. I believe we were on the boat for about 20 to 30 minutes. Along the way, we had a brief sea turtle watching experience, but we could only catch a glimpse.

Once we arrived at the sandbar, we started with photo sessions. In deeper areas, the water was about waist-deep, while in shallower areas, it was around knee-deep. We asked a Japanese female guide named Yukiko to take various photos for us. It seemed like other participants were taking photos among themselves. However, if you ask the guide, she will give you pose instructions and take several shots, so I think it's better to ask her! Just be aware that there might be a wait, so it's best to stay close to the guide once you get into the water! (laughs)

After that, we went snorkeling. Life jackets were available for those who wanted them, but I didn't wear one. We went surprisingly deep, and it felt like it was about 5 to 10 meters deep. We followed the guide while making a rough line, stopping occasionally. We swam in areas where our feet couldn't touch the bottom. They also provided long floatation devices, but if you can't swim well, it's better to wear a life jacket! My husband regretted not wearing one since he isn't a strong swimmer. 途中止まったりしながら、ざっくりとした列を作りながらガイドさんについていく感じです。
終始足が着かないところを泳ぎます。
水に浮く細長いやつも貸してくれるのですが、泳げない方は救命胴衣を着た方がいいです！
夫がそんなに泳げないのに着なくて後悔してました。
細長いやつは2人で1つ、実際は2人で使うと沈みます（笑）

ガイドさん近く、先頭で泳ぐと案外長くシュノーケリングするので疲れますが、
サンゴを近くで見れ、魚も少し見れて、とても貴重な体験が出来ました。
列の後方にいると先に行った人が泳いだせいか濁って見にくいので、先頭を行くくらいがお勧めです。
私たち夫婦は先頭切って泳いで、堪能しました♪

終わった後は温かいお茶とサンドイッチが配られ、小腹が空いていたのでとても助かりました♪

The view from the sandbar was very beautiful. I was told to practice snorkeling there, but not many people were doing it. We had a lot of fun playing beach volleyball with the participants. I had decided to definitely go when I came to Hawaii since it had been featured on TV several times. When we participated, the water was about knee-deep at the shallowest point. The weather was nice, but it was a bit chilly when we got in and out of the water due to the strong wind. However, the staff's talks and performances were so unique that the cold didn't bother us at all. The freshly grilled hamburgers were also fantastic. I'm glad I participated.

If you're going to Hawaii, this is definitely a place you should visit at least once!

It was just the two of us participating. I remembered a woman I met in Hawaii who told me that I should definitely visit the sandbar, which led me to decide to join this tour.

It was the right choice!

The scenery during the round trip between the hotel and the port was wonderful, and I was able to see many sea turtles. The sandwiches on the boat were delicious, and I was very satisfied.

I tend to get motion sickness, so I took some medication beforehand, but the boat was large and the waves were calm, so I might not have needed it. I think it's a good idea to apply sunscreen thoroughly.

I participated in a tour with lunch on September 26 (local time). The guide on the shuttle bus spoke English, and we had a fun (though a bit noisy) time until we arrived at the port. From the port to the sandbar, our guide "Miho" kept us entertained with her enjoyable microphone performance until we returned. "Yuki" took some great photos of us (like making heart shapes with our hands and holding hands, as well as shots from behind). I heard there are days when you can't see sea turtles, but that day we were able to see 6 or 7, which was amazing. We enjoyed a paradise-like experience with lunch (freshly grilled hamburgers) and beer at the sandbar. After a break, we moved to the snorkeling spot, and snorkeling among the coral reefs was truly breathtaking. It was my first time going to Hawaii with my wife after 21 years of marriage, and it was the best experience. We went on this trip to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary and the arrival of our first grandchild (by the way, I'm still only 44). I want to go back many more times. 9月26日(現地時間)の昼食付きのツアーに参加しました、送迎バスのなかでは案内人の方が英語でしたが楽しく(少しうるさい)過ごし港に到着、港からサンドバーまでは案内人の「みほ」さんがとても楽しいマイクパフォーマンスで帰るまで楽しませてくれました、「ゆき」さんが撮ってくれる写真(夫婦で手でハートマークや手をつないでや、後ろ姿など)もすごく良かったです、海がめも見れない日があるらしいのですがその日は6、7匹見る事ができ感動、サンドバーで昼食(焼きたてハンバーガー)とビールで楽園気分満喫、休憩後シュノーケリング場所へ移動、珊瑚礁のなかのシュノーケリングは感動の一言でした、結婚して21年で初めて家内と二人でハワイに行きましたが最高でした、今回の旅行は結婚20年記念と初孫ができたお祝いで行きましたが(ちなみにまだ44歳です)、また何回も行きたいです。次回は息子、娘、孫みんな連れて行きたいです、貴重な体験と感動ありがとうございました。

I went on a sandbar tour. This tour was filled with Japanese people. There were about 30 participants on the day I joined. The staff seemed quite experienced.

I heard that it’s also used for gravure photo shoots, and the color of the sea is beautiful, an emerald hue. However, since we all walked together on the sandbar, it felt like there wasn’t much of a private atmosphere. That was a bit disappointing.

Overall, the sea is very beautiful, so it's nice, but I think it may not be suitable for those who want a sense of privacy. (For reference)

The sea was really beautiful, but the snorkeling was a bit lacking... I wish I could have seen some prettier tropical fish. I was a little disappointed given my expectations, but I was excited to see a sea turtle. The light snacks were quite delicious and filling. I think the staff was the most accommodating. In particular, Ryo, who is Japanese, was very kind and great. I would like to participate again.

海はすごくきれいでしたがシュノーケリングはいまいちかな・・・もう少しきれいな熱帯魚とかみれたら良かったかな・・・。期待してた分少しがっかりでしたがウミガメが見れてテンションあがりました。

I participated in the Angel's Sea Sandbar Cruise. The sea was incredibly beautiful! Due to the tides, it wasn't the perfect sandy beach you often see in photos, but the water was about knee-deep, and sitting in it felt like enjoying a half-body bath. It felt luxurious to be able to sit in the sea and look out at the ocean in 360 degrees, even though we were offshore.

Above all, the warm and delicious hamburger after playing in the sea was exceptional! Also, after snorkeling, they provided hot drinks to warm us up, and the sweet hot chocolate was the best. The only downside was that the time spent seeing the sea turtles was shorter than I expected.

海はとってもキレイでした！潮の関係で、よく写真にあるような完全な砂浜にはなっていなかったけど、深さはひざ下くらいで、すわってもお風呂で半身浴してるみたいに気持ちよかったです。沖にいるのに海の中で座って３６０度まわりの海を見渡せるなんて贅沢な感じがしました。
何よりも、海ではしゃいだ後の温かいおいしいハンバーガーは格別でした☆☆　また、シュノーケルの後には冷えた体を暖めてくれるホットドリンクも用意してくれて、甘いホットチョコレートは最高でした。

I was really looking forward to Heaven's Sea.

Perhaps because there were so many participants, we were divided into several groups on boats to get to Heaven's Sea, but for some reason, we had to wait a really long time. It seemed like there were too few boats available, and the wait to get on a returning boat was just too long, which took away the excitement.

Moreover, the wind was really strong, and since we had to stand the whole time, it was cold.

As for Heaven's Sea itself, it was fairly beautiful, but I didn't feel that much excitement about it. The water wasn't particularly clear, and there weren't a lot of fish.

The only good thing was that there were sea turtles near the pier, and we got to see them up close!

I think it would be better to check the tide schedule before participating.

しかも風がすごく吹いていて立ちっぱなしだから、寒いし。

肝心の天国の海は、まあまあ綺麗でした。そこまでの感動はなかったなあ。
海が澄んでいるわけでもないし、お魚がいっぱいいるわけでもないし。

唯一良かったのは、桟橋の付近にウミガメが棲みついていて、間近で見れたこと！

潮の満ち引きをチェックして参加するのが、良いと思われます。

Our group really enjoyed the cruise. We paid extra for window seating and it was worth it. Otherwise you end up in the middle of the room in the traffic pattern for the buffet. Not alot of variety was offered at the buffet. Limited vegetable and salad options. Dessert Buffet food was also limited. If possible take the Friday night cruise so you can see the fireworks near the Grand Waikikian lagoon. We stayed at the Grand Waikikian so were the second group picked up which meant we were on board the bus for several pick ups. Good thing was being the 2nd stop at the end of the night.

However, looking around, I could see the distant Kualoa Ranch and the endless blue ocean. It felt nice to be surrounded by nature, which was a refreshing change from the hustle and bustle of Waikiki. ホテル迎えからバスに乗ったくらいから雨が降りだし、どうしても綺麗な海のサンドバーを見たかったのでツイテナイ・・・と諦めモードでした。。。船に乗る頃には少し青空が見えてきて、10分ほどしてサンドバーに着いて下り立つと太陽が射し白いサンドバーが表れてきました！本で見たあの綺麗な景色が目の前にそのまんまです。何とこの場所は２年くらい前まで日本では知られていなかったそうで、映画やPVの撮影にも使われたそうです。。風があったので肌寒く感じましたが、ウミガメの泳ぎも見れ晴れてくれたので良かったです。
