Last May, when I went to Hawaii, I went on a dolphin tour, and this time I decided to go see whales. I went this year. The boat was large, and I didn't feel seasick, so it was comfortable. We were able to see whales off the coast of Waikiki. We caught glimpses of their backs a few times. Unfortunately, we didn't see any jumps or big tails, but I was moved by my first encounter with whales. If I get the chance again, I would like to challenge myself to go in the middle of winter.

昨年5月にハワイに行った時イルカのツアーに行って次はクジラを見に行こうということで今年行ってきました。船は大きくて船酔いもなく快適。ワイキキ沖でクジラを見ることができました。背中の一部が数回。流石にジャンプとか大きな尻尾は見ることはできませんでしたが、初めてのクジラ遭遇には感動しました。また機会があれば、真冬にチャレンジしたいと思います。

Fortunately, the weather was nice (though the wind was really strong), and we were able to see a few whales. However, it was indeed difficult to capture them with my iPhone. In the photos, they appear distant, but in reality, they were a bit closer. Filming was also challenging because it was hard to predict where the whales would appear. I missed several opportunities to actually see them because I was so focused on filming. At first, there were announcements indicating the direction to look, but by the time we were heading back, there were no announcements. Just before we arrived, we spotted a whale near the shore, but it's unclear how many people noticed it. There were free activities like lei-making and ukulele lessons on the first floor of the boat, so most people participated. My sister and I didn't join and were on the second or third floor, just gazing out at the sea. I think it was mentioned that the Star of Honolulu tends to sway, but I didn't get seasick. Since the meal wasn't included, we freely ate what we had bought at the supermarket. To be honest, I wished I could have seen more whales jumping out of the water. Lastly, I believe the shuttle service would have cost an extra $12, so we took The Bus number 19 to the event location. On the way back, there was a bus stop very close by, so we were able to return smoothly. (The return bus also had signs indicating stops at Ala Moana Center and Waikiki Beach.)

幸い天気にも恵まれ（風は凄く強かったが）クジラも少しみれた。ただiPhoneで撮影するのはやはり難しい。写真で見ると離れて見えるが実際はもう少し距離が近かった。ビデオ撮影もどこから出現してくるかわからないので、撮影が厳しかった。また撮影に夢中で実際に目でみる機会を何度か失ってしまった。始めのうちはアナウンスで何時の方向に見えると教えてくれるが、帰る頃はアナウンスがない。到着間際に岸の近くにクジラを発見した。ただ気づいた人がどれだけいるかは不明。無料でレイ作りやウクレレなど船の1Fで開催していたので、大抵の人たちが参加していた。私たち姉妹は参加せず2Fだったか3Fだったか?!にいて、海をぼーっと眺めていた。スターオブホノルル号は揺れやすいと掲載されていた気がするが、船酔いもしなかった。食事付きでなかったので、スーパーで買って来た物を自由に食べていた。欲を言えばもっとクジラが海の上に飛び跳ねてる姿を見たかったのが本音です。最後に送迎付きだとプラス$12くらいするはずだったので、ザ・バスの19番に乗って開催場所まで行った。帰りもすぐ近くにバス亭があるので、スムーズに帰れた。（帰りのバスもアラモアナセンターやワイキキビーチ行きとバスに表示が出ていたはず）

Honolulu is hectic enough without worrying how to get places with traffic. The tour is great. The driver knew the ins and outs of the places we went and made our experience worthwhile. I'm glad we could keep our bags on the bus in between places, especially our packed lunch!

Ed was an awesome gentleman who did a great service for us. He was so knowledgeable and just an entertaining individual. Couldn't thank you enough for a great time.

I had a truly valuable experience.
It's something unimaginable in Japan.
I was constantly excited to be so close to wild animals.
I got to see dolphins, of course, as well as sea turtles and whales.
From the exotic boat, I watched dolphins and chased after escaping sea turtles, haha.
Thanks to the captain's arrangements, or perhaps his keen eye, we spotted a whale and even saw it spouting water.
It's an experience unique to traveling abroad that you won't understand until you try it.
I also think the cost performance is quite good.

とても貴重な体験をしました。
日本では考えられない経験です。
野生の動物とこんなに間近で触れ合えて興奮しっぱなしでした。
イルカはもちろん、海ガメ・クジラに会えました。
異国情緒たっぷりな船からイルカをみて、逃げるウミガメを追いかけたりしてｗ
船長さんのはからいか、神眼かしら？クジラを発見し、潮吹きも見ました。
海外旅行ならでは、行ってみないとわからない体験です。
コスパも悪くないと思います。

It was my first trip to Hawaii. Since I was going, I really wanted to see the sandbar, so I signed up for this tour.
It was cloudy on the day of the tour, so the water was cold when I got in, but the scenery was amazing.
I was able to see fish and coral while snorkeling.
Fortunately, I also got to see a sea turtle up close.
The hamburger we had for lunch was incredibly delicious!!
I enjoyed a relaxing lunch on the boat while listening to the guide's live performance, gazing at the beautiful sea, and it created wonderful memories.

初めてのハワイ旅行でした。行くからにはどうしてもサンドバー見たいと思いこちらのツアーに申し込みました。
当日は曇りでしたので、海に入ると冷たかったですが、景色はｻｲｺｰです。
シュノーケルで魚やサンゴを見ることもできました。
運よくウミガメも間近で見ることができました。
お昼に頂いたハンバーガー、最高に美味しいです！！
ガイドさんの生演奏を聴きながら船の上でのんびり昼食～綺麗な海を眺めとても良い思い出が出来ました。

It was a very impressive ship, and I was excited from the start! The leisurely cruise was very pleasant, and the captain pointed out the direction where we could see the whales, so we didn't miss the opportunity to see them. We were able to see multiple whales, and they put on various performances, leaving me in awe during my first whale watching experience!

とても立派な船で、最初からテンションが上がりました！
のんびりとクルーズする時間はとても心地よく、
船長さん？が、クジラの見える方角を言ってくださるので、タイミングを逃すことなく
見ることができました。
クジラも複数見ることができ、いろんなパフォーマンスを見せてくれ、
初めてのホエールウォッチングで感動しっぱなしでした！

I participated for the first time and was able to enjoy myself to the fullest from morning until evening. I also opted for the meal plan, and while the lunch was a buffet with not too many options, it was delicious. It was great that drinks were also included. I was able to experience all the attractions, which were all very thrilling and something you can't experience in Japan. My spouse and I participated, but I thought it would be nice to bring our children along next time.

初めて参加しましたが朝から夕方までめいいっぱい楽しむ事が出来ました。又、食事付きにしたのですがランチは食べ放題で種類はさほど多くはありませんでしたが美味しかったです。ドリンクの飲み放題も付いていたのが良かったです。全てのアトラクションを体験する事が出来ました。日本では味わう事の出来ないとても迫力のあるものばかりでした。私達は夫婦で参加しましたが子供を連れて来たいな～って思いました。

I went to this famous tourist spot that I had heard about for a while! You can also go snorkeling, and the sea was truly beautiful. If the weather isn't good, it can get cold, so it's definitely a good idea to bring a jacket that you don't mind getting wet and a bath towel!

前々から聞いていた有名な観光なので行ってみました！シュノーケリングもでき、本当に美しい海でした。天気がよくないと寒い思いをするので、かならず濡れてもよい上着とバスタオルは持って行った方がいいですよ！

Sandbar, snorkeling to see coral reefs and tropical fish, and freshly grilled hamburgers for lunch. We also saw sea turtles. Highly recommended!!

サンドバー、珊瑚礁･熱帯魚を見るシュノーケリング、昼食のその場で焼いて創るハンバーガー、ウミガメも見れました。オススメです!!

The distance to the dolphins was far, and the snorkeling experience to see the dolphins was quite short, lasting less than 10 minutes, which was disappointing. However, there was plenty of time for snorkeling with sea turtles after moving to another location, so I wish I could have seen the dolphins a bit longer.

The staff members were very kind.

イルカとの距離が遠く、イルカ見学のシュノーケリング自体は１０分弱とかなり短かったのが残念。　その後移動してからのウミガメなどのシュノーケリングタイムはたっぷりあったので、もう少しイルカを見たかったです。

係員の皆様は大変親切でした。

The classic luau show. The food is surprisingly good, but the content of the show itself is quite ordinary and traditional. If you don't mind the number of meals or dancers, the free Aloha Friday show at the Hyatt every Friday might be sufficient. On the day I attended, due to the weather, it was held indoors and there was no fire dance. That might be one reason it felt overpriced. There was no clear notice about the change of location, which left a somewhat unkind impression.

定番のルアウショー。食事が意外に美味しいので良いが、ショーの内容自体は昔ながらで極めて普通。食事やダンサーの人数に拘らなければ、毎週金曜日にハイアットでやってるアロハフライデーの無料ショーで十分かも。参加した日は天候の都合か屋内での開催でファイヤーダンスは無し。それも割高に感じた理由かも。場所が変更になった旨の分かりやすい案内もなく、ちょっと不親切な印象を受けた。

My wife, 11 month old daughter, and I got the chance to attend the Chief’s Luau at Sea Life Park, under the Paradise Package. I usually don’t expect much from the food and drinks at these sorts of events, but I was pleasantly surprised. The food was very good, especially considering that it is a buffet, and the drinks were not watered down. In regards to the show, it was absolutely fantastic. The cast performed dances from the various Polynesian Islands and the entire time, the Chief is telling jokes (the jokes contain a bit of innuendo) and making sure everyone is having a good time. There is a reason Chief Sielu performs all over the island, practically every day: not only is he a very skilled performer, but he is absolutely hilarious. I will definitely be coming again. Please note that the cast does pull members of the audience for different parts of the show, however, it is not the run-of-the-mill “let’s all dance at the end” type thing, they are actually part of the festivities.

My wife, 11 month old daughter, and boarded the Star of Honolulu, on the One Star package. The night started with a Mai Tai, which was quite strong (coming as a surprise to me as in my experience, “welcome drinks” tend to be very watered down), and we were taken to our table with our appetizers ready and waiting for us. The food was fantastic! I’m going to be honest; I had low expectations for the food. All you can eat crab on a ship, generally does not mean “high quality” to me. And boy was I proven wrong. The crab especially was very tasty, and my wife and I definitely took advantage of the “all you can eat” description. The show was also very fun to watch, with examples of dances of different styles from around Polynesia. The service from our waiter, Chad, was excellent as well: my water was never empty, empty plates were taken as soon as I was finished, and the crab kept coming. I’ve already suggested the Star of Honolulu to family members for when they visit.

There is only one water park on Oahu. I went with my elementary school daughter, and we had a lot of fun with the various water slides. We drove there with a rental car (with a navigation system), and thanks to the navigation, we were able to find it. However, the operating hours are short, so it's better to arrive early when they open. Our original planned date was March 24, but the weather was bad that day, a bit chilly with rain, so I called and changed it to the next day. They easily accepted the change, which was a relief. The next day was sunny. The water park does not allow outside food or drinks, including fans. There is a baggage check at the entrance, so be careful.

オアフ島でのウォーターパークはそこしかありません。小学生の娘と行きましたがウォータースライダーが色々あって楽しめました。レンタカーで(カーナビ付き)行きましたが、カーナビのおかげでたどり着くことが出来ました。ただ営業時間が短いのでオープンする時間に早めに行った方がいいです。本当の参加予定日は3/24だったのですがその日は天気が悪く、雨で少し肌寒かったので電話をお願いして翌日に変更してもらいました。あっさり変更オーケしてもらい、ホッとしました。翌日は晴天でした。ウォーターパークは飲食物の持ち込みは出来ません。うちわもです。入口に手荷物の検査があるので注意、です。

I think there are seasonal factors involved, but I was able to see the whale's spout and tail, which looked small. I was very happy to see the dolphins up close instead of the whales! ★

時期的な問題もあると思いますが、くじらの潮吹きやしっぽが小さく見れました。
鯨に代わりにいるかを近くで見れたのでとても嬉しかったです★

It was very good. We used the shuttle from Aulani on February 27 with four children and three adults. We had a lot of fun. I recommend it. There were events on the boat, such as hula dance and ukulele workshops, which were enjoyable. It was unfortunate that the hula dance instructor felt sick from seasickness. However, the boat didn't sway as much as I expected. I think the lunch was reasonably priced.

Perhaps it was the right season, as we were able to see whales multiple times. Also, it was great to see Waikiki and Diamond Head from the ocean perspective, as I had never seen them that way before.

In any case, the children were happy, and I highly recommend it!

とても良かったです．アウラニからの送迎で，子供４人大人３人で２月２７日に利用させていただきました．とても楽しかったです．お薦めです．舟の中では，フラダンスやウクレレの講習会などのイベントがあり，楽しませていただきました．フラダンスの先生が船酔いで具合悪かったのが，残念でした．とは行っても，舟は思ったほど揺れてませんでした．お昼の食事は，値段相応かと思います．
時季が良かったのでしょうか，クジラを何度も見られました．また，ワイキキとダイアモンドヘッドを海からの角度から見たことがなかったので，これもまた良かったです．
とにかく，子供も喜んでいましたし，お薦めです！！

There were only two Japanese families, and the rest were foreigners. The instructor's English had a thick accent (Yankee-style speaking), making it difficult to understand. I could only grasp about half of the meaning. Still, it was not a problem. We snorkeled for about 30 minutes to an hour off the coast of Waikiki. Since we had elementary school children with us, we brought life jackets, snorkels, masks, fins, and marine shoes from Japan. We encountered fish and turtles (honu). Bringing a waterproof camera is the best.

We departed in the morning, and the weather was cloudy with occasional sunshine, so it was cold on the boat after snorkeling. Especially with wet swimsuits and rash guards, it was chilly. It's essential to bring a thick bath towel from the hotel. Foreigners seem fine being naked, though.

After that, we went sailing towards Kahala. It was nice to see the Waikiki Beach hotel group from a different angle offshore. The group photo taken at departure was about $15, roughly the size of B5. It turned out quite nicely. This tour might be a bit tough for children under kindergarten age.

In summary: It's impossible for toddlers to be in the sea without being able to touch the bottom, just with a Styrofoam stick! Life jackets are essential. Bring a bath towel for warmth. And it costs $15.

日本人ファミリーは２組だけでそれ以外は外国人。インストラクターの英語が訛っていて（ヤンキー風しゃべり）聞き取りにくい。半分くらいの意味しかわからず。それでも問題なし。ワイキキの沖合いで３０分から１時間くらいシュノーケリング。うちは小学生もいたので日本からライフベスト、シュノーケル、水中マスク、フィン、マリンシューズを持参。魚や亀（ホヌ）に遭遇。防水カメラ持参がベスト。
朝出発で天候がくもり、時々晴れだったのでシュノーケリングの後は船上では寒いです。特に濡れた水着やラッシュガードは寒い。ホテルから厚手のバスタオル持参が必須。外人は裸でも平気みたいですが。
その後カハラ方面へセーリング。沖合いからのワイキキビーチホテル群がいつもと違う方向から見れて良かったです。
出発時に撮ったグループ写真が確か１５＄。Ｂ５くらいの大きさ。　なかなかきれいに撮れてましたよ。幼稚園児以下はこのツアーは少々きついかも。
総括：足の届かない海に発砲スチロールの棒だけで幼児は無理！ライフベストが必須です。
寒さ対策のバスタオル。　そして１５＄。

I have traveled to Hawaii countless times, but I had never been to Kauai Island, so I booked a day tour for the first time. The natural beauty of Kauai Island was very healing. Along the way, I accidentally dropped my cellphone somewhere, and I apologize for the trouble it caused to my fellow passengers and the driver.

ハワイ旅行は、数えきれないほど行っているのですが、カウアイ島に行ったことがなく、初めて一日観光を申し込みました。
自然の残るカウアイ島はとても癒されました。
途中、携帯電話を何処かに落としてしまい、同乗の方や運転手さんにご迷惑をおかけしてしまいた。

I was able to enter around 10:30 AM. The return bus departs at 3:15 PM, so I started changing around 2:30 PM, and I wished I had a bit more time to enjoy.

The thrill rides were more exciting than I expected. The changing room is combined with the restroom, so it lacks cleanliness.

In addition to fast food, there was a barbecue plate lunch that was very delicious and filling.

When purchasing alcohol like beer, you need to show something that verifies your age, and we were able to buy it by showing a color copy of our passports. Once you show it, they put a band on your wrist indicating that you are over 21.

All the staff were friendly and kind.

10時３０分頃に入場出来ました。
3時１５分に帰りのバスが出発なので、2時３０分頃から着替えをしたので、
もう少し遊ぶ時間があればと思いました。

絶叫系のアトラクションは思った以上にスリルがありました。
更衣室はトイレと一緒なので、清潔感はありません。

食事はファストフードのほかに、バーベキューのプレートランチがありましたが
とても美味しかったし、ボリュームがありました。

ビール等のアルコール購入時には、年齢が確認できるものが必要で、私たちは
パスポートのカラーコピーを見せて買う事ができました。
一度見せると、腕に21歳以上であることのバンドをつけてくれます。

スタッフは皆さんフレンドリーで親切です。

First, please note that snacks will be confiscated, so avoid bringing them.

The pool is spacious enough to keep children entertained. However, on weekdays, there are fewer guests, so attractions operate on a one-open, one-close basis. For the boat slide that requires several people, you need to ensure the total weight is sufficient, so families must calculate accordingly.

I was really looking forward to the lazy river, but it was closed for the entire day...

The food is delicious.

Also, the changing area is located behind the restrooms, so initially, guests who are unaware may get confused and hurriedly change in front of the outdoor lockers. If you go further in, you'll find the changing area, so please look for it.

まず、お菓子は没収されますので持っていかないようにしましょう。

プールは子供連れには飽きさせない広さです。
ただし、平日ではお客さんが少ないのでアトラクションも
ひとつ開けたらひとつ閉める、といった形態です。
数名で乗るボートスライダーも重さが足りないといけないので、
家族連れでも計算して乗らないと大変です。

ゆったり流れるプールを一番楽しみにしていたのに、そこは一日空きませんでした、、、

ご飯は美味しいです。

あと、着替え場所はトイレの裏なので、初め分からないお客さんがみんな迷ったまま、
野外のロッカー前でそそくさと着替えてしまっていました。
ちゃんと奥にいくと着替え場所があるので、探してみてください。

The morning started off with a leisurely pickup, and the bus was comfortable. The boat was very clean, making it enjoyable for families, couples, and friends alike!

I had heard in a post that we might only see small whales, so I honestly approached it with a cruising mindset, but we were fortunate enough to see mother and baby whales jumping one after another!

The lunch was delicious, and the afternoon workshops, including ukulele, hula, and lei-making, were fun and enjoyed by everyone.

At the end, they asked if there were any birthday celebrants or newlyweds, and when the honeymooners gathered in front, they sang Hawaiian songs with a guitar, creating a wonderful time for everyone to celebrate.

I highly recommend it!

投稿で『小さい鯨の姿が見える程度』と聞いていたので、正直
クルージング感覚で行きましたが、鯨の親子が次々にジャンプ！

とても恵まれていました。

ランチも美味しいし、午後のワークショップもウクレレ、フラ、レイ作りと
楽しく皆満喫していました。

最後には誕生日の方か新婚さんはいますかー？前に出てーっと言われて、
ハネムーナーが前に集まると、ギターでハワイアンソングを歌ってくれて、
みんなで祝福する素敵な時間となりました。

本当におすすめですよー

I previously went to a place in Guam with a similar attraction and had a great time, so I found Wet 'n' Wild online and made a reservation. There were so many different attractions, and it was fun, but perhaps due to the lack of staff? It felt like after one attraction was operated, it would close and they would operate another, so not all attractions were running at the same time. However, it wasn't too bothersome, so that was good.

The attractions were all things that would definitely be considered too dangerous to create in Japan, but everyone was having fun without getting hurt. However, at the very end, I ended up hitting my back hard while going down a slide on a five-person inflatable raft. I was so breathless that I felt a moment of panic and fear from getting injured in a foreign country. A staff member came to help, but it didn't feel like they were going to take me to the hospital; after checking my condition, they just suggested icing it, and they didn't really explain what my injury was like.

After returning to Waikiki, I bought some pain relief patches at an ABC Store and applied them for a couple of days, which helped the pain go away, so that was good. However, since I got injured, I think someone else might get hurt as well. I believe it's important to consider this and ensure that small children are kept safe from injuries.

以前グアムのプールで同じようなアトラクションがある所に行き、とても楽しかったのでネットでウェット＆ワイルドを見つけ予約しました。すごく色んなアトラクションがあって楽しかったのですが、従業員が少ないからか？笑　一つのアトラクションを運営した後それは休止して他のアトラクションを運営させるという感じで常に全部のアトラクションが動いてあるという感じではなかったです。でもそれはあまり気にならなかったので良かったですが。
アトラクションは日本では絶対危険すぎてありえない、作れないだろうというアトラクションばかりですが皆さん怪我することなく遊んでいて楽しかったです。しかし私は最後の最後で５人乗りで浮き輪のようなものに乗ってスライダーを降りるやつで背中を強打してしまいました。本当に息ができないくらいで異国で怪我したので一瞬頭が真っ白になるくらい不安で怖かったです。ドクターというか係員が来てくれたのですが、病院に連れて行くという感じではなく、状態を見た後は氷で冷やすという感じで終わってしまい、怪我がどんな感じなのかというのもあまり言ってくれませんでした。その後ワイキキに戻った後ABCストアで湿布を買って２、３日貼っていたら痛みはひいて治ったので良かったのですが、私が怪我をしたということは誰かしらまた怪我することがあると思います。そのことも検討して小さい子どもには怪我をさせないよう考えた方が良いと思います。

There are various water slides, and both adults and children can enjoy them. If the temperature were a bit higher, I think you could spend the whole day there without getting bored. However, it's unfortunate that, perhaps due to the low number of customers on weekdays, the attractions change every hour, so there were many times when I couldn't do what I wanted to do.

色々なウォータースライダーがあり、大人も子供も楽しめます。
もう少し気温が高ければ　1日中いても飽きないと思います。
ただ残念なのが、平日でお客も少ないせいかアトラクションが
時間ごとに入れ替わるので　やりたいと思った時に出来ない事も
多々ありました。

On the day of the show, it started with Presley, Steven Tyler, Michael Jackson, Madonna, and then Presley again. To be honest, aside from Steven Tyler, the performances were a bit underwhelming, and I felt that the impersonators in Japan were better at portraying Michael and Madonna. It seems that the performers change depending on the day, but overall, the show had an enjoyable structure, and I was able to see Polynesian dance at both the opening and closing, so it felt like the content of the show was worth the price.

当日は、プレスリー、スティーブンタイラー、マイケルジャクソン、マドンナ、プレスリーの順番で、ショーが始まりました。
正直、スティーブンタイラー以外は微妙で、マイケルやマドンナに関しては日本でモノマネしている人の方が上手かった様な気もします。
日によって出演者が異なる様ですが、全体的にショーとしては楽しめる構成となっており、ポリネシアンダンスもオープニングとエンディングで見れましたので、金額に見合ったショーの内容であったように思えます。

The show was very entertaining, we had so much fun! The staff were very friendly and caring. Since I have small children; they were always checking on us, made sure that my kids are entertained as well! The dancers were amazing too!
I brought my entire family with me, my husband, and our children (ages 8, 6, and 12mos), at first, I had to think twice if I really should bring them to this kind of show but since they love music and they’re on their spring break too, I took them there anyway…and I never regret it!
WOW! The show was outstanding! Michael Jackson had the real moves and never failed our expectation, it was so real! Steven Tyler looks exactly like Steven, performing in front of our eyes and his entrance to the stage was the best when he flew in a harness to the stage. We absolutely loved their performances that even my kids were dancing too! This show is definitely a great place to take your stress away!

Dinner buffet at the Tree Top Lanai are very delicious as well.

There are various slides, and it's a fun place to spend the whole day. It's a shame that the temperature was a bit low this time.

色々なスライダーがあり、1日いても楽しい所です。
ちょっと今回気温が低かったのが残念です。

The drivers were so nice and explained the island's history and helped us understand about hawaii.I LOVED IT!! I would recommend the dry snorkel and a life vest if you arent a good swimmer but defiantly the underwater camera because you see amazing fishes

I was told not to touch the turtle, but it touched me first! (Scary) I wish the snorkeling time could have been extended a bit longer.
