I participated in whale watching for the first time!
While cruising, I was able to enjoy some drinks and the scenery was amazing! ✨✨
I saw the whales spouting water and their tails from a bit of a distance!!
I thought I would be able to see them a little closer, but since they are wild animals, I understand that it's unpredictable. Still, the atmosphere was great and I had a lot of fun!!

The restrooms on the boat aren't usually very clean and can be hard to access, but this boat had clean restrooms, so I felt comfortable even while drinking!
I would love to participate again someday!!

もう少し近くで観れると思っていましたが、自然の生き物の事なので、予想がつかないのも仕方がないな〜と思いつつ、雰囲気はとても良く楽しむことができました！！

船でのおトイレは綺麗なところがあまりなく、なかなか行きにくいですが、こちらの船は綺麗なトイレでお酒を飲んでも安心でした！
またいつか参加してみたいです！！

The staff is friendly and it's just so much fun!! You can enjoy it without any problems even if you don't understand English! The buffet has desserts in addition to the meals, and I was completely full. It was the best!

スタッフさんがフレンドリーでとにかく楽しい！！英語がわからなくても問題なく楽しめます！バイキングは食事以外にデザートもあって満腹になりました。フラ最高！

The performance was outstanding , they were engaging from the moment you walked in and out. The food taste good however was cold with exception to the pork and chicken thighs were hot, but sweet potatoes, noodles and rice were cold and we had Royal package and first in line to eat so I was surprised to have those few items cold, the rolls were so delicious so grab 2

I could tell there were whales, but I couldn't see them very well. The staff provided warm hospitality, making my experience enjoyable. The banana cake for a light snack had a homemade feel and was delicious. You can choose between tea and coffee.

鯨がいるのは分かりますが、あまりよく見えませんでした。スタッフの方々はあたたかいおもてなしで気分良く過ごすことができました。軽食のバナナケーキも手作りの感じがあって美味しかったです。紅茶がコーヒーが選べます。

We came for the show only and were pleasantly pleased with the performance! I especially enjoyed the “Is” section of showcasing his rise and what he means to the Hawaiian people as a whole. Still singing his recorded hit “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” in my head. It was all very good. Elvis and Michael Jackson impersonators, the dancers…Hawaiian culture. Just great!! Don’t miss out!!

One of our favorite events of the week. Crew was funny and professional. Beach volleyball was super fun. We saw two turtles while snorkeling! Also wonderful that they have a free shuttle for dropoff and pickup

The friendly service from the staff was impressive. The food was also wonderful and delicious. Recently, due to age, there are times when I can't finish a course meal, but both my husband and I finished everything. We will definitely go again on our trip to Hawaii!

気持ちの良いスタッフの接客が印象的です。料理も素晴らしく美味しかったです。最近年齢とともにコース料理を食べきれない事があるのですが夫婦揃って完食しました。ハワイ旅行の際は必ず行きます！

This was my second experience. I encountered wonderful seas and sea turtles, making it the best experience. I will definitely participate in the next trip to Hawaii.

The previous day's bad weather may have caused rough waves, and although I was able to see a few turtles, there were not many fish. It's unfortunate, but it's nature, so there's nothing we can do about it.

前日が悪天候だったためか、波が荒くて魚も少し亀が何とか見れたけど、自然相手だから仕方がないけど、残念でした。

It was cold since we left early in the morning. The bus had the air conditioning on, so it was a good decision to bring a long-sleeved shirt. The cruise was comfortable, and we were able to see sea turtles and whales. It was a pity we didn't see any dolphins, but it was great to see the whales since they are only available in winter!

朝早く出発だったので、寒かったです。
バスも冷房が効いていたので、長袖持っていって正解でした。
クルーズは快適、ウミガメと、クジラが見れました。
イルカは残念でしたが、クジラの方が冬限定なので、見れて良かったです！

On this day, the sky was completely covered with clouds and there was a strong wind. It started to rain midway, and by the time we disembarked, there was a full-blown storm. Perhaps due to the strong winds, the waves were high and there were whitecaps, making it difficult to spot whales. However, there were several announcements on the ship about whale sightings, and my husband and I were able to see a spout once each. A few Japanese passengers who were on board with us also mentioned they saw a spout just once. Does seeing a spout mean you've seen a whale? I wonder if it was the right decision to set sail in that weather. If asked whether I would like to go again, I would say I do not want to. Even if the weather were good, it seems there is a set distance from which you can approach the whales, so I think it would be difficult to actually see the whales themselves. The coffee and light snacks were delicious (although the boat rocked so much that the coffee spilled...).

この日は空一面の雲に強い風、途中から雨が降り始め、下船するころには大嵐になっていました。強い風のためか波が高く白波が立ち、クジラ発見には難しい条件だったと思いますが、船内に何回かクジラ発見の放送が流れ、私たち夫婦は潮吹きを１度づつ見ることができました。一緒に乗っていた日本の方たち数人も潮吹きを１度だけ見たと言っていました。潮吹きを見たらクジラを見たことになるのか？あの天候で船を出すことは正解なのか？疑問です。また乗ってみたいかと言われれば、もう乗りたくありません。天候が良かったとしても、クジラに近寄れる距離が決まっているらしく、クジラ本体を見ることは難しいのではないかと思いました。コーヒーと軽食は美味しかったです（コーヒーがこぼれるほど揺れましたが・・・）

Husband was a US Navy vet and wanted to make sure he paid his respects at the Memorial. Had just enough time and we're not rushed.

I have also watched it in Japan (Maihama), but this time the stage was closer, so I was able to enjoy a different level of excitement compared to last time.

日本（舞浜）でも鑑賞したことが有りますが、今回はステージが近いので前回と違う迫力があり楽しむことが出来ました。

My husband and I participated in this trip for our honeymoon.

Thanks to the favorable weather, the boat didn't sway, and we were able to enjoy the beautiful sea and the views of Waikiki and Diamond Head from the water.

As for the whales, we were able to see them multiple times during the trip. However, they were all quite far away, and we could only see their spouts and a bit of their black backs and tails. I think it was great just to see them, but if I had to say something, I wish we could have seen them a little closer.

新婚旅行で夫と2人で参加しました。

天気に恵まれたため船が揺れることもなく、綺麗な海や海からのワイキキ、ダイヤモンドヘッドを眺めることができました。

肝心のクジラですが、乗船中何度も見ることができました。しかしいずれも遠いところで、潮吹きと黒い背中と尾鰭が少し見える程度。姿を見ることができただけでも良かったのだと思いますが、強いて言えば、もう少し近くで見れると良かったなと思います。

I have to say I really enjoyed the Chief's Luau! After I got past the fact that it was situated in a water park, and got to the actual venue, I was able to forget there was anything there but the Luau! The grounds and setting were lovely, and I had a beautiful view of the show. The food was plentiful and delicious, and the entertainment some of the best I've seen at a luau, and I've been to several. For authentic entertainment and a good experience, this one was great!!

I was worried, but I'm glad I was able to see the whales properly. The explanations in Japanese were easy to understand. I recommend it.

心配でしたが、クジラがちゃんと見られてよかったです。日本語の説明もあって分かりやすかったです。オススメです。

It was amazing!
The clarity of the water, the variety and size of the fish were truly impressive!
I even got to meet a honu and swim with it!

My English is at a basic education level, and that's fine.
The guide speaks slowly to make it easy to understand.
While driving, they introduce recommended shops.
We stopped at a parking area for a location explanation, then had time for a briefing on how to use the snorkel, swimming precautions, and ordering additional rental items.
We rented a boogie board, but other parties rented life jackets.

ホヌとも出会えて一緒に泳ぐことができました！！

英語は義務教育レベルで問題ないです。
ガイドさんがわかりやすいようにゆっくり話してくれます。
運転中はおすすめのお店の紹介。
一旦パーキングに止めてロケーションの説明の後シュノーケルの使い方遊泳時の注意、追加のレンタル品のオーダーの時間がありました。
うちはブギーボードレンタルしましたが、他のパーティはライフジャケットをみんなレンタルしてました。

The show itself was impressive and satisfying, but I was concerned about the cold indoors. It's better to bring a light long-sleeve shirt, even if you tend to get warm.

ショー自体は迫力満点で満足だったが、室内の寒さが気になった。
熱がりでも薄手の長そでを持って行った方が良い。

Originally, it was scheduled for January 30, but I received a call from Veltra the day before, asking me to change the date due to a warning being issued for the next day. So, I participated on February 1.
When I come to Hawaii, Hanauma Bay is an absolute must-visit and one of my favorite places. Although it was an early morning, I was able to enjoy it while there were fewer people. I encountered many fish and was very satisfied. The weather was great, and the view of Hanauma Bay from near the entrance was amazing!
Of course, I want to go again.

当初は1/30の予定でしたが、前日にベルトラさんから電話を頂き、明日は警報が出ているので日程を変更してくださいとのこと。そして2/1に参加させて頂きました。
ハワイに来たらハナウマ湾は絶対外せない大好きな場所。朝が早いけど人が少ないうちから楽しめました。たくさんの魚にも逢えて大満足でした。天候も良く、入場口付近から見たハナウマ湾は最高です！
勿論、また行きたいです。

I participated in the whale watching tour on the Star of Honolulu with a pickup from Waikiki (with snacks and drinks included). There were many participants on the large boat. Even though it was the rainy season in February, we were blessed with good weather and enjoyed the views of the blue sky and the deep blue sea from the boat. We also saw whales multiple times, including some mother and calf pairs, and got to witness them spouting water. It was a very satisfying whale watching experience. If you're coming to Waikiki, I highly recommend you join this tour!

ワイキキ送迎を付けてホエールウォッチ　スターオブホノルル号（軽食＆ドリンク付き）に参加しました。
大型船で参加者もたくさんいました。
雨季の２月での参加でしたがお天気にも恵まれ、青く晴れた空と真っ青な海が広がる船からの景色を楽しめました。
またクジラも何度も現れて潮吹きも何度も見られました。
親子のクジラも現れ大満足のホエールウォッチングになりました。
ワイキキに来る方はぜひ参加してみてください！オススメです！

I participated in a trip with my mother and daughter. We arrived at Aloha Tower right at 8:00, but we couldn't board immediately and had to wait outside. The port's restroom was locked and unavailable for use.

The large ship has four decks, and after boarding, there was an explanation of whale watching in English, along with the offering of pineapple banana bread, coffee, tea, and water. I recommend going to get your food early as there is a line.

It took a while before we spotted any whales, but the view of Waikiki and Diamond Head from the sea was beautiful, making the cruise satisfying. After a while, we saw a whale spouting water, and we could see its tail and dorsal fin. Unfortunately, we didn't get to see any big jumps.

The trip was on a Saturday, and we were able to disembark around 11:00, which allowed us to take a taxi to the Kaka'ako Farmers Market.

母、娘の二人旅で参加しました。
8時ちょうどにアロハタワーに着きましたがすぐには乗船できず外で待ち時間がありました。港のトイレは鍵が掛かっており利用できませんでした。
4階まである大きな船で、乗船後英語でホエールウォッチングの説明がありパイナップルバナナブレッドとコーヒー・紅茶・お水の提供があります。並ぶので早めに取りに行くことをおすすめします。
沖へ出るまでなかなかくじらは現れなかったですが、海から見えるワイキキの街やダイヤモンドヘッドが美しくクルーズとして満足できました。
しばらくすると潮を吹いているクジラがおり、尾びれや背びれが見えました。残念ながら大ジャンプは見られませんでした。
参加日は土曜日で、11時頃には下船できたのでタクシーでカカアコファーマーズマーケットへ行く事ができました。

I have a tendency to get motion sickness, so I appreciated that this boat is large and has minimal rocking. We encountered whales a few times (and dolphins too). They explain which direction to look by comparing it to a clock, which makes it easy to understand. I also thought it was a nice cruise to see Waikiki and Diamond Head. However, since we didn't see the whales up very close, it's better not to have too high expectations in that regard.

The stage was close, and I could feel the breath and tension of the performers right in front of me. As expected from Cirque du Soleil, they skillfully blended Hawaii's nature with acrobatics. There was a sense of unity that brought people from all over the world together. The tall man in front of me noticed my height (156 cm) and kindly switched seats with the woman next to him. I was grateful for his gentlemanly behavior.

ステージが近く、目の前で行っている演者の息づかいや緊張感が伝わってきます。さすがシルクドソレイユ、ハワイの自然とアクロバットの融合を上手く演出していました。
世界中の人々とひとつになる一体感がありました。前の席の方が背の高い男性で、後ろの私(156cm)に気付き隣りの女性とチェンジしてくるました。紳士的行動にありがたかったです。

I think it would be beneficial to check the days when low tide coincides with the tour time, as participating then may enhance your satisfaction. While the dry season is likely the best time to join, I still had a great time even on a cloudy day.

I didn't mind the rocking of the boat. I took motion sickness medication, which seemed to help, and I was able to enjoy myself without feeling sick. The light snack of spam onigiri was delicious. There were also cocoa, miso soup, and snacks available, which made for a fulfilling experience.

In January, the weather was cloudy, so the sea felt cold, but I gradually got used to it. I participated in a swimsuit, rash guard, rash trunks, and reef shoes, which kept me comfortable. Each group received one stand-up paddleboard (SUP), allowing us to enjoy it to the fullest. The water was quite shallow, so there was no worry about drowning. After thoroughly enjoying the SUP, I joined the snorkeling activity. Even for first-timers, the staff provides support, so you can enjoy it with peace of mind. I brought a GoPro, so I was able to capture videos underwater. I recommend bringing your smartphone in a waterproof case or a waterproof camera to take plenty of photos and videos. Many Japanese participants joined, and there were explanations in Japanese each time, with all the staff being very kind. Luggage is stored under the chairs by group, so it's advisable to bring a bag that can get wet since there is a possibility of getting splashed. There are no coin lockers, so it's best not to bring valuables like passports and to take only cash for tips and one credit card.

On the way back, the bus stopped at a malasada food truck, which only accepted credit cards, so if you want to enjoy malasadas, it's a good idea to bring a credit card.

I gave tips to the staff on the boat and also to the bus driver on the way back. It would be wise to prepare tips for both.

干潮がツアー時間と被る日を調べて、参加すると満足度が高まるかと思います。乾季の参加がベストかとは思いますが、曇りでも十分楽しめました。

船の揺れは気になりませんでした。酔い止めを飲んでいたのが効いたのか酔わずに楽しめました。
軽食はスパムおにぎりが美味しかったです。ココアや味噌汁、スナック菓子もあり充実しています。

1月の参加で天気も曇りでしたので海は冷たく感じましたがだんだんと慣れてきました。服装は水着+ラッシュガード、ラッシュトレンカ、リーフシューズで参加し、快適に過ごせました。SUPは1グループに1つ配られるので思う存分楽しむことができました。結構浅瀬なので溺れる心配もありませんでした。SUPを十分に楽しんだ後はシュノーケルに参加しました。シュノーケルが初めての人でもスタッフがサポートしてくれるので安心して楽しめます。GoProを持って行ったので海中の動画を撮ることができました。防水ケースに入れてスマホを持っていくか、防水カメラを持っていくと写真や動画がたくさん取れて楽しめると思います。日本人が多く参加しており、日本語での説明も毎回あり、スタッフは全員とても親切でした。荷物はグループごとに椅子の下にしまいます。水に濡れる可能性があるので水に濡れても良いカバンで参加するのがオススメです。コインロッカーはないので、パスポートなどの貴重品は持参せず、チップ分の現金とクレジットカード1枚だけ持って行くと良いと思います。

帰りのバスでマラサダのキッチンカーに寄ってくれて、そこは現金が使えず、クレジットガードのみだったのでマラサダを食べたい人はクレジットカードを持って行くと良いと思います。

チップは船上のスタッフさんに渡したのと、帰りにバスの運転手さんにも渡しました。それぞれ用意しておくのがいいかと思います。

Wonderful time!! Beautiful view of Waikiki and sunset. Also a whale sighting.

It was unfortunate that we encountered wind and rain during the rainy season.

First, everyone freely brought pineapple banana cake, coffee, and tea from the front of the first floor and enjoyed them at their seats. The cinnamon-flavored pineapple banana cake was very delicious.

After that, we listened to an explanation about whales using a translation app on our phones. We were then allowed to move freely up to the fourth floor of the ship, so we carefully made our way to the top observation deck and enjoyed the view.

Fortunately, the rain wasn't too heavy, so we were able to enjoy the scenery of Honolulu. We could see Diamond Head and the cityscape from the sea side. It was particularly meaningful for me since I had hiked up Diamond Head the day before on the same optional tour with Veltra, which took about 30 minutes.

The waves were high, and although we couldn't see the whales, we were able to spot their spouts several times. We saw the spouts relatively close by, and all the passengers were excitedly pointing at them. If the weather had been better, we might have seen even more.

The shuttle service was only available in the morning, allowing us to spend the afternoon leisurely, which was nice.

雨季の風と雨の日に当たってしまったのが残念でした。
まずは各自、自由に一階前方にあるパイナップルバナナケーキやコーヒー、紅茶を持って来て、座席で頂きました。シナモンの効いたパイナップルバナナケーキはとても美味しかったです。
そのあとクジラについての説明を携帯の翻訳アプリを使って聞きました。その後は船の４階まで自由に移動してよいとのことだったので、船の揺れに気をつけながら最上の展望階に上がり、眺めていました。
ただ雨は大半は大丈夫だったので、ホノルルの風景は楽しめました。ダイヤモンドヘッドや街並が海から側から眺められます。ダイヤモンドヘッドは前日同じベルトラさんのオプショナルツアーで、３０分かけて登った後だったので感慨深いものがありました。
波が高く、クジラは姿は確認出来なかったのですが、潮吹きを何度か見られました。割と近くで何度か潮吹きが見られたので、乗船客の皆んなが指を差して盛り上がっていました。天候に恵まれれば更に良く見えたかもしれません。
送迎付きは午前中だけで体験できるので、午後も有効にゆったり過ごせるので楽でした。

The Hawaii version of Cirque du Soleil "AUANA." The performances without safety ropes, high-altitude balancing, juggling, and skating—every performer was truly amazing! The entire show had a structure that made you feel the essence of Hawaii, and the sense of unity, as if all the guests were participating together, was really wonderful.

ハワイバージョンのシルク・ド・ソレイユ「AUANA」。命綱なしのパフォーマンスや高所のバランス、ジャグリングにスケートなど、どのパフォーマーも本当にすごい！の一言。演目全てにハワイを感じられる構成と、ゲストも全員で演じているような一体感がとても良かった。

The staff who spoke Japanese were very kind and helpful. Not all of the slides are operational, but I think you can still enjoy some of them. If you're coming by car, please be aware that the parking fee is cash only.

日本語が話せるスタッフの方がとても親切で助かりました。スライダー系は全てが稼働しているわけではありませんが、一部でも楽しめるかと思います。
車で来る方は駐車料金が現金払いですので気をつけてください。

Premier seat reservation for a family of four.
I was hoping to be seated on the front side, but we ended up on the edge of the front row. I was worried about whether we would be able to see properly, but it turned out to be quite impressive because we were so close (though we did get a little splashed).
I think the theater has good visibility with steps in all the seats, but if you have small children, it might be wise to be careful with your seat selection. If a larger person from Europe or America sits in front of you, you might not be able to see.

プレミアシート予約　家族4人
正面側になれば良かったのですが、最前列の端側でした。ちゃんと見えるかなと不安でしたが、端側でも問題ないどころか近いためかなり迫力があります。(少し水が掛かります)
全ての席に段差があり見やすい劇場かと思いますが、小さいお子さんがいる場合は席の選択を気を付けたほうがいいかも。前の席に欧米のカラダが大きな方が座ると見えないかもしれません。
