This time, I participated in the backstage tour and buffet & show course! During the backstage tour, I got to hold the actual props used by the performers, see the glamorous costumes up close, and learn about the workings of the stage entrances—experiences that are usually not visible. Standing on the stage made me feel like a movie star! Knowing the behind-the-scenes details really heightened my anticipation for the show.

The buffet afterwards featured a variety of dishes made with local Hawaiian ingredients, allowing me to experience Hawaii through food. There were performances like hula dancing during the meal, which was a delightful touch!

The main show was moving! It was a truly special performance that blended traditional hula and fire dancing with modern entertainment. Every performance was professional, and I was overwhelmed by the speed of the costume changes and the energy put into the acts. Having seen the backstage, I could enjoy the show while imagining, "They must be changing costumes over there right now," which made it a unique experience.

What stood out the most were the large screens set up at the front and sides of the venue displaying historical footage. Watching actual clips of Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson while enjoying the performances gave me a strange sensation, as if I had time-traveled. I felt that this production added depth to the show and was a wonderful way to engage the audience further.

The most surprising part was the "Moana" scene! Although it was a limited-time feature, I was extremely excited. The performance synchronized with the scenes from Moana on the screen was so much fun, captivating both children and adults alike. The kids sitting in front of me were thrilled, which warmed my heart.

Rokafura is enjoyable for both adults and children! The buffet is delicious, so if you want to experience the essence of Hawaii, you absolutely should participate!

今回、バックステージツアーとビュッフェ＆ショーのコースに参加！
バックステージツアーでは、実際にパフォーマーが使う装飾品を手に取ったり、華やかな衣装を間近で見たり、ステージの出入り口の仕組みを教えてもらったりと、普段は見られない裏側を体。ステージに立ってみると、まるで女優になった気分！裏側を知ることで、ショーへの期待感が一気に高まりました。

その後のビュッフェでは、ハワイならではの素材を使ったメニューが豊富で、食事を通してハワイを感じることができました。食事中にはフラダンスなどのパフォーマンスがあり、盛り上げてくれるのも嬉しいポイント！

メインのショーは、感動！
伝統的なフラダンスやファイヤーダンスと、現代的なエンターテインメントが融合した、まさに特別なパフォーマンス。どのパフォーマンスもプロフェッショナルで、衣装チェンジの速さや、全力で演じるエネルギーに圧倒。バックステージを見ていたからこそ、「今あそこで着替えているんだろうな」と想像しながら楽しめたのも、特別な体験でした。

特に印象的だったのは、会場の正面と左右に設置された特大スクリーンに映し出される歴史的映像。エルビスプレスリーやマイケル・ジャクソンの実際の映像を見ながらパフォーマンスを楽しむことで、まるでタイムスリップしたような不思議な感覚に。
ショーに深みを与えるこの演出は、観客をさらに引き込む素晴らしい工夫だと感じました。

一番驚いたのが「モアナ」のシーン！
期間限定とのことでしたが、これには大興奮。スクリーンに映し出されるモアナのシーンに合わせたパフォーマンスはとても楽しく、子どもたちも大人も夢中になっていました。私の前に座っていた子どもたちも大喜びで、心が温かくなりました。

大人だけでなく子どもも楽しめる内容になっているロカフラ！
ビュッフェも美味しいので、ハワイらしさを楽しみたかったら絶対参加すべき！

The staff was amazing. So welcoming and so fun. They made us feel like family and took care of us the whole time. I highly recommend.

The service and explanations provided by all the staff were excellent, as they spoke with each customer individually to understand their needs and desires until we disembarked. It was very reassuring to have a Japanese female staff member who could communicate in Japanese. The lunch burgers and drinks were good! After that, the sea turtle watching was well-timed and satisfying! Unfortunately, the snorkeling included with the coral reef watching was affected by sudden rain, bad weather, and cold temperatures, but there was still plenty of time for watching, and the hot drinks provided on board afterward were great. I was initially worried about language barriers with the multinational group on the small boat, but all the staff made it enjoyable! Choosing this tour was definitely the right decision!

スタッフ全員の接客と説明、お客様1人ずつと話をして船を降りる時まで何が欲しいのか　何をしたいのか等　細やかなサービスは最高でした！日本人女性のスタッフが日本語で対応していただけたのもとても安心できました。ランチのハンバーガーと飲み物もgood！その後　海亀ウォッチングもgood timingで満足！残念ながらシュノーケリングを付けての珊瑚礁ウォッチングでは突然のシャワーと悪天候と寒さでしたが、充分ウォッチング時間もあり　その後船上でのホットドリンク等の対応もよかったです。
やはり狭い船上の中　多国籍の人と言葉の心配をしましたが　スタッフ全員に楽しませてもらいました！　このツアーを選んで正解でした！

During the buffet before the show, there was a hula dance performance right in front of us, which made it enjoyable until the very end. The show also included a look-alike impersonation segment, which was entertaining.

ショーの前のビュッフェのときも、フラダンスショーが目の前で行われたりして、最後まで楽しめました。ショーはそっくりさんのモノマネショーもあり面白かったです。

Fantastisk oplevelse. Vi prøvede også for 18 år siden. Grunden til kun 4 stjerner er, at der er for kort tid til at opleve det hele. Vi kom sent derop pga vejarbejde (men havde en fantastisk chauffør), så show på vandet er godt igang og alle pladser optaget.
Der var flere rækker tomme sæder ved det store aftenshow. Hvorfor ikke lade andre sidde der, så de ser bedre?

This was an amazing ride. All the staff were friendly, knowledgeable and bent over backwards to ensure everyone had a great time. The trip was perfect. You got sandbar time, turtle time and snorkeling.

On the first day of my trip, I was able to see a wonderful show, and it made me feel like I had truly arrived in Hawaii! The performers looked just like the celebrities, and the photo session after the show is a memorable experience!

We participated as a couple. It was amazing to be able to stand in the middle of the ocean, just a short distance from the port to the sandbar. The afternoon snorkeling was wonderful as we could enjoy the corals and many fish. The guides and staff who spoke Japanese were cheerful and made the experience enjoyable.

夫婦で参加させていただきました。サンドバーまで港からすぐで海の真ん中に立ってられるのが不思議でした。午後のシュノーケルでもサンゴやたくさんの魚を観賞できて素晴らしかったです。日本語でのガイドさんやスタッフの方々も明るく楽しめました。

I was grateful that they changed my reservation even though I went a day early. The Waimea beef was very delicious.

I enjoyed being able to see various stages, including hula dance, entertainment, and fire dance. The meals were also satisfying.

I visited Nature for the first time this time. Since it was a limited-time discount price, I was able to enjoy steak at a great deal.

Nature is located on Seaside Avenue, just across Kuhio Street. The first floor houses the creative Japanese restaurant ZIGU. When I visited, ZIGU was already bustling, indicating its popularity.

Nature is on the second floor of the building, and unlike ZIGU, it has a casual yet sophisticated atmosphere. The calm service left a strong impression, and other customers seemed to be enjoying their meals peacefully.

I ordered a set menu this time and enjoyed a glass of red wine as a pairing.

The starter was a marinated cheese and papaya dish. It was a combination I had never seen before, but the sweetness and saltiness were well balanced, and I was already impressed from the start of the meal. The main dish was the signature Waimea beef steak. It was tender and cooked slowly, with nice seasoning. Having visited Hawaii several times and enjoyed various steaks, I think this one ranks at the top! The flavor was complex and layered, with a good balance of firmness and tenderness; it was simply wonderful. The dessert was also luxurious. I regret not being able to finish it all because I was so full! I should have eaten a little less for lunch.

今回、初めてナチュールさんを訪問しました。早め時間限定の割引価格だったので、お得にステーキを楽しめました。

ナチュールさんの場所は、シーサイドアベニュー、クヒオ通りを渡ってすぐの場所。1階は創作日本食のZIGUが入っています。私が訪れた時間には既にZIGUも盛況で、人気店なことが伺えます。

ナチュールさんは建物の2階ですが、ZIGUとは異なり、カジュアルながら洗練された雰囲気。落ち着いた接客が印象的で、他のお客さんも穏やかに食事を楽しんでいる様子でした。

今回はセットメニューを注文。ペアリングに赤ワインをグラスで楽しみました。

スターターはチーズとパパイヤのマリネ。始めてみる組み合わせでしたが、甘さとしょっぱさがマリアージュしており、お食事開始から既に感動でした。
メインはお店のシグネチャーでもあるワイメア牛のステーキ。じっくり柔らかく調理されたワイメア牛で、味付けもナイスです。何度かハワイに来て、いろいろなステーキを楽しんでおりますが、これはトップランクに入ってくるのでは！？という好みの味でした。複雑で立体的な味わいと言うか、固さと柔らかさのバランスもよく、とにかく素晴らしかったです。
デザートも豪華でした。お腹がいっぱいになってしまい、全部食べきれなかったことが悔やまれます笑
お昼を少し減らしてくればよかったですね笑

気になっていたディナー、楽しむことができました！ありがとうございました！

The boat ride to the sand bar was amazing , you get to view the beautiful bay of Kaneohe . The staff was amazing , they knew exactly how to welcome first timers , the food was so delicious, I’m not a hamburger dude but this hamburger was so delicious, it was served with my favorite pork and beans , great meal to hold you off through the tour .

I participated in the event in Hawaii for four days, and unfortunately, it was raining heavily that day, so I thought it might be canceled. However, by the time we were supposed to start, the rain had stopped, which was great. But during the trail, it started raining again, and I had to wear a raincoat to climb.

I'm not good at climbing, so I walked slowly, and I felt both grateful and sorry that everyone was waiting for me. However, I managed to reach the summit, and it was very fulfilling. I think it's more enjoyable to climb with a guide who explains various things along the way rather than just climbing.

On the way back down, I think having a walking stick would make it safer. For lunch, we were provided with very delicious sandwiches, and we also got to visit Tantalus, which is not easy to access on your own. It was a very fulfilling half-day. Thank you very much.

ハワイ4日に参加したのですが、運悪くその日は雨が凄く降っていてもう中止になるかと思いきや、参加の時間頃には雨も止み良かったと思いましたが、トレイル中にまた雨が降ってきてレインコートを来て登りました。
私は登りが苦手なのでゆっくり歩いていましたが皆さん待っていてくれてありがたいのと申し訳ないでいっぱいでしたが、何とか頂上まで登りきることが出来てとても達成感がありました。ただ登るより色んなことを説明してもらいながらガイドさんと登るほうが楽しいと思います。
帰りは坂の下りなのでステッキがあったほうが危なくないと思います。
ランチはとても美味しいサンドイッチを用意してもらい中々自分では行けないタンタラスの丘にも行けてとても充実した半日でした。

Our 30th wedding anniversary trip to Hawaii. Since my husband, who was visiting Hawaii for the first time, wanted to have a Hawaiian experience, we chose this place where we could enjoy both hula and rock music.

A beautiful hula dancer placed a fresh flower lei around my neck, and we took a photo with Elvis Presley! I was already in high spirits.

Once we were seated, we started with a Mai Tai drink and piled our plates high at the buffet. The dessert was also delicious.

In between, there were hula dances and hula lessons.

After the meal, we moved to a spacious theater where the dancers showcased impressive hula and fire dances. There was also a presentation that traced the history of Hawaii using two large screens, featuring songs and dances by Elvis and Michael Jackson, which got all the Western guests excited.

Thanks to this experience, we had a wonderful last night in Hawaii. Thank you!

結婚30周年のハワイ旅行。ハワイ初訪問の主人がハワイらしい体験をしたい！と言うのでフラもロックも楽しめるこちらを選びました。
キレイなフラルックのお姉さんに生花のレイをかけて頂きエルビスプレスリーさんと写真をパシャ！もう気分は上々♪
席に着くとマイタイドリンクから始まり、ビュッフェ形式でお皿いっぱいに盛って頬張りました。デザートも美味しかったです。
途中、フラダンスやフラレッスンもあり。
食事後に広いシアターに移動。ダンサーの皆様が素晴らしい見応えありのフラやファイヤーダンスを披露。
大きなスクリーン２つを活用してハワイの歴史を辿るような演出もありエルビスやマイケルジャクソンの歌やダンス、欧米のお客さん達も皆んなで大いに盛り上がっていました。
お陰様で楽しいハワイのラストの夜を過ごせました。ありがとうございました！

The water on the west side is super clear, we really enjoyed this snorkel tour away from Waikiki!

Had a great time. very friendly staff, well organized production.
It may be their job but everyone seemed to enjoy making sure you have a great time.

bonus : go on Friday and you get the fireworks show on the water with Waikiki as the backdrop. what could be better???

I chose the five-star experience as a reward for myself. The wonderful staff and their smiles made it special. Although I attended alone, the staff were considerate, and the other participants reached out to me, allowing me to have a very enjoyable time.

The drink tickets, which allowed me to choose from a variety of beverages starting with a toast of sparkling wine, were very smart and convenient. I initially ordered the Lava Flow, which I always enjoy in Hawaii. Next, I had red wine to pair with the prime steak.

The dishes were creatively prepared, starting with the appetizers, which were fantastic, and the meat was very delicious. The sunset, fireworks, and wonderful music all contributed to a truly memorable experience. I definitely want to come back with my family next time. Thank you very much.

自分へのご褒美に５スターを選びました。素晴らしいスタッフと笑顔。１人で参加でしたが、スタッフの方々がご配慮いただいたり、同じご参加されている方々がお声がけをしてくださり、とても楽しい時間を過ごさせていただきました。
飲み物もスパークリングワインでの乾杯からたくさんの飲み物から選べる飲み物のチケット２枚はとてもスマートでわかりやすく便利でした。私はハワイで毎回いただくラヴァフローを最初オーダーしました。次は、プライムステーキに合わせて赤ワインをいただきました。
お料理も工夫されていて、アペタイザーから素晴らしく、お肉もとても美味しかったです。サンセット。花火。素晴らしい音楽。どれをとっても楽しい素晴らしい思い出となりました。次回は家族と是非伺いたいと思います。ありがとうございました。

The Angel's Sea was amazing. The scenery was beautiful, and the water was so clear that I could see fish swimming with the naked eye. I saw many turtles on the way to the sandbar, and during snorkeling, I encountered a turtle that came out from the rocks and was able to swim close to it, which was truly moving! The lunch with hamburgers grilled on the boat was incredibly delicious, and the kids were thrilled. The staff was friendly, and I had such a great time that I definitely want to go again!

景色はもちろん、海の透明度も高くて裸眼でお魚が泳いでる姿が見れるくらい綺麗でした。
亀はサンドバーに向かう時に沢山見れて、シュノーケリングの時も岩場から出てきた亀に遭遇し近くを一緒に泳ぐことが出来て感動しました♪
船上で焼いてくれたハンバーグを挟んで食べるランチは最高に美味しくて子ども達も大喜びでした。
スタッフの方もフレンドリーでとても楽しくまた是非行きたいと思いました！！

On our first trip together, my sister and I visited Hawaii. I take hula lessons, and my sister used to take them too, so we talked about wanting to see a show together! There was a show just for hula, but at my sister's request, we decided to go to "Rock-a-Hula." There were option tours from travel companies, but we found this tour from Veltra with "second person free" and signed up without hesitation. In the end, it was a great decision! We were able to enjoy delicious food while watching the hula dancers, and the person in charge was very kind. Above all, the show was so much fun. Being in the front row made it even better, and the variety of the show kept us entertained; the time flew by!

私はフラを習っていて、姉も昔習っていたので二人でショーを観に行きたいね！と話していました。フラだけのショーもあったのですが、姉の希望で「ロック・ア・フラ」に行くことに決まりました。旅行会社のオプションツアーもあったのですが、ベルトラさんの「２人目無料」のコチラのツアーを見つけて迷わず申し込みました。結果、大正解でした！フラダンサーさんの踊りを見ながら、色々なお料理を美味しく食べることが出来たのと、担当してくださった方か親切に対応してくださり、何よりもショーが楽しかったです。最前列ですぐ間近だったのもあるのですが、バリエーション豊かなショーに飽きることなく、あっという間の時間でした。

I was disappointed with Mr. T, the guide for the Kaneohe Bay cruise package tour! He might be the same guide mentioned in someone else's experience on the Jurassic Park movie location tour.

We walked through a jungle-like natural environment to reach the waterfall. It was great that we were able to borrow trekking poles. The weather in March was mild, but I ended up sweating quite a bit. Our Japanese guide, Mei, was a wonderful person. The lunch was also very delicious; my husband had a pastrami sandwich while I enjoyed a vegetable sandwich, all while overlooking the stunning view from Tantalus Hill. It was a very good tour!

ジャングルの様な大自然の中を滝まで歩いて行きます。トレッキング用の杖を貸してもらえたのは良かったです。３月の穏やかなお天気でしたが、結構汗をかきました。日本人ガイドのメイさんがとても素敵な方でした。ランチもとても美味しくタンタラスの丘からの素晴らしい景色を見渡しながら夫はパストラミサンド、私はベジタブルサンドを頂きました。とても良いツアーでした！

Enjoyed the fact that we were able to learn about the different cultures and languages.

To start, Parking was really easy to find. We arrived early as we were staying about 25 miles from Honolulu. GPS took us right down to the ship. There is a parking lot right across the street from the Marketplace where the ship is docked. That was handy as there were 2 of us with mobility issues. I guess my daughter was the first to check in as our group of 5 were the first ones to be taken on board. The environment was festive and from casual to dressy. The food was delicious! The staff were very friendly and professional. We were celebrating our 50th Anniversary, so we had decided to have pictures taken. The photographer did a really good job and took quite a few pictures, including one on the upper deck which turned out well. The evening's entertainment was very enjoyable including the fireworks display set off over the water at Waikiki Beach.
We would definitely do it again.

I’ve been to many luaus and this one was great. The warrior stories and performance was stunning. The food and drinks were good and authentic. The openness of the venue and seating arrangements were appreciated.

Only aspect that was a bit disappointing was the bus/shuttle that took us to the luau: 1) there were a lot of sick people on the bus coughing and sneezing, it would have been mindful to ask they were a mask or include instructions if sick not to take the shuttle 2) the shuttle stayed at the pickup locations for a long time, longer than they should have… this delayed our bus ride. Stick to the rules and please don’t delay other guests. 3) traffic and freeway accidents can’t be prevented or predicted, but if we left the bus stops on time it could have given us more time for pre luau activities.
