Oahu
A dinner show is something you definitely want to experience at least once when you come to Hawaii. This time, I went to "Rock-a-Hula"!
When I arrived at the venue, the staff greeted me with a smile and placed a lei around my neck, instantly putting me in a Hawaiian mood. There was a hula lesson, and even beginners can easily learn some simple steps. Dancing together creates a sense of unity and is so much fun!
Additionally, there was a time for each group to play the ukulele. The atmosphere is relaxed, making it enjoyable even for those who are trying the ukulele for the first time.
The staff primarily speak English, but when I mentioned I was Japanese, they responded with a friendly "Hello!" in simple Japanese. The menu also had Japanese options, and there were quite a few Japanese guests, which made me feel at ease.
Dinner was served buffet-style, and the meat they grilled right there was particularly juicy and delicious.
After the meal, it was finally showtime! The show was a fusion of rock and Hawaiian music, and the performance of Michael Jackson was astonishingly similar to the real thing! The recreation of his dance moves and gestures was impressive, and there were loud cheers from the audience.
Moreover, the fire show was thrilling and kept everyone on the edge of their seats! The energy from the stage was palpable, and it was incredibly exciting.
ハワイに来たら一度は体験してみたいディナーショー。今回は「ロック・ア・フラ」に行ってきました！
会場に着くと、スタッフさんが笑顔でレイをかけてくれて、気分が一気にハワイアンモードに。
フラレッスンがあり、初心者でも簡単なステップを教えてもらえます。みんなで踊ると、一体感が生まれて楽しい！
さらに、グループごとにウクレレ演奏の時間もありました。初めてウクレレに触れる人でも気軽に楽しめる雰囲気です。
スタッフさんは基本英語ですが、「日本人です」と伝えると「こんにちは！」と簡単な日本語で対応してくれました。メニューも日本語があり、客層も日本人が多めだったので安心感があります。
ディナーはビュッフェスタイルで、特にその場で焼いてくれるお肉がジューシーで美味しかったです。
食事が終わると、いよいよショータイム！
ロックとハワイアンが融合したショーで、特にマイケル・ジャクソンのパフォーマンスは驚くほど本人にそっくり！
ダンスや仕草の再現度が高く、客席からも大きな歓声が上がっていました。
さらに、火を使ったショーは迫力満点で、ハラハラドキドキの連続！ステージの熱気が伝わってきて大興奮でした。

The way this show was organized and put together was amazing. We enjoyed every aspect of the show. They made it feel like you were a part of the performance the entire time. The only reason I gave the good rating was because the photographer didn't take enough time arranging our family of 17 so you could see everyone in the photo. Also she quickly snapped the two pictures before we were ready so eyes were closed in both pictures. We also wanted individual family photos and she wouldn't do it for us. She would have made more money by all of us buying a photo package. The food was OK, it was a little cold and the pork was dried out.
Plan extra time to get there from Waikiki. Traffic is terrible.
I was a bit worried because it rained the day before, but on the day itself, it was sunny and I was able to enjoy the beautiful sea. Thank you very much.

I felt the desire to experience a different culture at least once during my trip, so I made a reservation. The venue was located inside the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center, which was easily accessible, and I was able to find it without getting lost! It was a fun experience! The food was great, desserts are even phenomenal. My favorite was the salad and the roasted pork. The pineapple is so sweet! I enjoyed the Haupia. It reminds me of the version we have back in my home country. The only thing off with the entire experience was I felt we were left out and not asked how we are doing because we were a group of 2. One experience also was when we were going to the theatre for the show. We were following a group to tourist and the lady who was holding the cord closed it when the last tourist came in and followed them. Leaving us wondering where to go. If we are not allowed to go there. I get it they might have paid more for the vip experience but we were left there wondering where to go next. I admit I felt some type of way being left out again. The young girl who took pictures earlier told us where to go. Even after that we have to figure out the way to the mezzanine. I still gave 5 stars because I get it, people paid for vip services but sure hope that they paid attention as well to people who are in a budget. You know being the aloha spirit and all. Overall fun experience!

I only experienced the show, but I'm really glad I went. It was just around sunset, and the terrace seating area was very beautiful and pleasant. The heartfelt performances by all the performers were wonderful, and the content was fulfilling, allowing me to have a truly lovely time. I made several reservations for experiences this time, but I think this was the most meaningful one. I definitely want to visit again.

The wind felt nice, and the sea was incredibly beautiful, but the main dolphin watching only allowed us to see them small and far away. The canoe group from another tour got much closer to them. I was really looking forward to it, so it was a bit disappointing. いやもう買ってますけど、、となりました。

I participated with my 4 and 6-year-old children. I was worried they might not enjoy it since they are so young, but they seemed to have a great time seeing lots of dolphins and riding on a boat that we usually don't get to ride on! They were especially excited about the tattoo stickers they got at the end, which they had been looking forward to even before we went! They lasted for three days even after taking a bath, so it was a bit challenging to remove them (laughs).
As for snorkeling, it seemed difficult for them to breathe through the snorkel, so they quickly came back up from the water. I think I would like to try that again when they are older! They ended up going down the slide by themselves, and they had so much fun that they went down three times! (laughs) Also, they loved the lemonade they could drink on the boat, and since returning home, they've started drinking lemonade regularly!

お風呂に入っても3日は余裕でもってたので剥がすとき少し大変でした（笑）
肝心のシュノーケリングはシュノーケルをつけて口呼吸するということが難しかったようで一瞬で海からあがりました。
これはまた大きくなったら再チャレンジしたいなと思います！
なのでスライダーは自分ひとりで滑ることになりましたがとっても楽しく3回も滑りました！笑
あと子どもたちが船で飲めるレモネードを気に入って帰国してからもレモネード飲むようになりました！
クルーのみなさんもとても優しく本当にいい体験をさせていただきました。

We celebrated my birthday on this sunset cruise. It was a well organized event. Wonderful entertainment and the food was excellent. Our table was on the side of stage so we did not have the best view for picture taking. So much fun, beautiful views, I highly recommend.

The buffet meal was delicious, especially the pork. There were many types of desserts after the meal, all sweet but tasty.

I thoroughly enjoyed the hula, and both Elvis and Michael had a great time as well. After the show, the dancers were there to see us off, and I was able to take a photo with Michael. He looked so much like the real thing that I even got a hug! Unfortunately, Elvis was surrounded by the ladies, so I gave up on getting a photo with him. What a shame!

My family and I had a great time during the tour and enjoyed all the places we visited, except the Dole plantation which we think they should take out of the tour and visit Haleiwa town instead.
Our guide, Kainoa, was fantastic. He knows a lot about the history of Hawaii.
I really love this show! As a Maui local, I really loved seeing a show that was only Hawaiian hula. I understand Tahitian can be a bit more "exciting" for tourists, but the Na Lei Aloha group were captivating the whole show! The host (I believe his name was Keoki, forgive me if I'm wrong!) was engaging and explained all of the numbers in a very digestible way. The girls were gorgeous, the boys were funny, and the musicians were incredibly talented.
The dinner portion was amazing as well! An all you can eat buffet that included king crab legs and a prime rib station. Everything was delicious! The first drink (mai tai) was included, and we ordered 1 additional round of drinks (which were SO MUCH stronger that we didn't need another).
Overall just a truly wonderful experience.
Doing the dinner portion is absolutely worth it!

Cultural experiences are a fun time, and the traditional cuisine buffet dinner with the best views is very satisfying. The Hawaiian show is impressive... the luau "feast" is the best!
