On September 20th, our family of four, including a 4-year-old and an 8-year-old, participated in the morning session. After coming out of the sea, it was a bit chilly, so we needed something to cover ourselves. The staff explained everything in Japanese, which made it easy to understand. They provided life jackets for the kids, so there was no need to worry even if they couldn't swim. The DVD they filmed for a fee was well-edited and became a wonderful family memory. We also got to see sea turtles, the food was delicious, and the staff had a bright atmosphere, making it a fun experience.

9月20日に4歳、8歳の子供を含む家族4人で午前に参加しました。
海から上がると、少し肌寒いので、体を覆う物が必要です。
スタッフは日本語で説明をしてくれるのでわかりやすかったです。
子供にはライフジャケットを貸してくれるので、泳げなくても心配ありません。　
有料で撮影してくれるＤＶＤは編集もよく、家族のよい思い出になりました。
ウミガメも見れて、料理はおいしかったし、
スタッフの雰囲気も明るく、楽しかったです。

I'm not comfortable with normal scuba gear, so this was a good way to be able to get under the water and see the marine life off Hawaii.

The scooters were not fast, but that is due to safety.

Everyone gets a diver that looks after them and can go under with their partner/friend. I always felt I was in good hands.

The experience lasted 20 minutes, which is not much. But to allow several people to go down without using several days, one doesn't have a choice. One would always want more time with something that is enjoyable.

A bit pricey, but safety costs, and the value was everything considered, not bad.

I participated in a tour on September 21, 2011.

On the day of the tour, it was very windy and quite chilly, and the water was murky, making it nearly impossible to see anything while snorkeling.

If it was just visibility issues, it would have been one thing, but the high waves due to the wind were very frightening.

First, we went out a bit offshore by yacht and boat for turtle watching. I was thrilled to encounter a sea turtle.

After that, we moved on and got off the boat to walk in the water towards the sandbar. Depending on the tide, I think, the white sandy beach we saw in pictures wasn't as prominent.

After taking plenty of photos at the sandbar, we returned to the boat for lunch. This was satisfying. We had sandwiches, salad, fruit, and cookies, which were quite filling. The tour organizers also offer photos for an additional fee, and you can receive the data that evening.

After a break, it was finally time for snorkeling. Despite the cold and strong winds causing some people to give up, I managed to return to the boat safely thanks to the support of the instructor, but I was filled with fear due to the high waves.

I realized that this tour is heavily influenced by the weather. I think the timing was just right.

2011/09/21にツアーに参加しました。

当日は風が強く、とても肌寒く水中は濁っているしシュノーケリングの際ほぼ何も見えませんでした。

見えないだけなら、まだしも風のせいで波が高くとても怖かったです。

まず、少し沖の方までヨットやボートで行き、ウミガメウォッチング。
ウミガメには出会う事ができ、感激です。

その後移動をし、船から降りて海の中を歩きながらサンドバーまで行きますが、潮の満ち引きにもよるとは思いますが写真で見たほど白い砂浜はでていませんでした。

サンドバーでひとしきり写真を撮ったあとは、船に戻り、ランチタイムです。
これは満足でした。
サンドイッチやサラダ、フルーツ、クッキーボリューミーです。
写真はツアー主催者側でも別料金で写真を映してくれます。
データとして当日の晩には渡してもらえます。

一息ついて、いよいよシュノーケリング。
寒さと、強風でリタイヤ者の出る中、なんとかインストラクターのサポートのおかげで無事には船に戻れましたが、波も高く恐怖感でいっぱいでした。

天候にかなり左右されるツアーだと実感しました。
時間的には丁度良いと思います。

I arrived in Hawaii in the morning and participated in an afternoon tour.

I was worried about the heavy rain before moving by boat, but the weather changed frequently, and by the time we got into the water, it was sunny and warm. The depth of the sandbar was about knee-deep. There was a friendly sea turtle. I thought I could only watch it from the boat since touching it would incur a hefty fine. However, it came close without being afraid of humans and even bumped into me lightly!

The guide was cheerful and lively, making it a fun honeymoon trip!!

ハワイに午前中到着して、午後ツアーに参加しました。

船で移動する前まで豪雨で心配でしたが、天気がコロコロ変わって、海に入るときには晴れて暖かったです。
サンドバーの深さは膝くらいでした。
人懐っこい海ガメが1匹いた。
自分から触ると多額な罰金だそうで、船の上から見るだけかな~と思っていました。
でも、人間に怖がらず近くに寄ってきて、軽くぶつかってきました~

ガイドさんは明るく盛り上げてくれて、楽しい新婚旅行になりました！！

I participated last October and personally found the seawater to be very cold, so this time, since it was September, I was really looking forward to it. Last time I joined the afternoon session, but this time I discovered the different charm of the morning session.

The result was... rain. While Waikiki was sunny, once we crossed the mountain, it was pouring rain (laughs). Before even worrying about the cold seawater, I was soaked and freezing! I was a bit anxious that it might get canceled, but we set sail in the rain! We did some turtle watching in light rain and saw about 2 or 3 turtles. By the time we arrived at the sandbar, it was raining even more. We went out in our swimsuits, but it was cold! Some people on the tour were smartly wearing jackets while walking on the sandbar. I thought that was the right choice. When the sunlight peeked through the clouds, it felt really nice. The seawater was warmer than last year, which was a bit of relief amidst the cold rain on my upper body.

Next was snorkeling. What surprised me was how the sea turtles were unusually friendly! They are protected by law and should never be touched, but they actually came up to us (laughs). While snorkeling, they swam alongside us the whole time, and it was truly a precious experience!

Despite the on-and-off rain and feeling cold, it ultimately became a wonderful memory for me and my two friends!!!

私は去年10月に参加して個人的に凄く海水が冷たく感じたので、今回は9月という事もあり、とても期待して参加しました。前回は午後の部、今回は午前の部と違った良さを発見できました。
結果は.....雨。。。ワイキキは晴れていましたが、山を越えるとすっかりどしゃぶりでした（笑　海水が冷たいとかいう以前に雨にぬれて凄く寒いっ。もしかして中止になるのかと少々不安になりましたが、雨の中出航！！やや小雨の中海亀ウォッチング。2~3匹見れました。サンドバーに着いた頃にはさらに雨。。。水着で繰り出しましたが、寒い！！ツアーの中にはしっかり上着を着てサンドバーを歩いている方もいました。正解だと思いました。途中雲の隙間から太陽の光が出てきたときはとても気持ち良かったです。肝心な海水は去年より温かく、雨で上半身が寒い中少し助かりました。続いてはシュノーケル。ここで驚いたのが異常にに人に寄り付いてくるウミガメがっ！？法律で守られていて決して触ってはいけないとされているカメですが、むしろ向こうからぶつかってきます（笑　シュノーケル中、終始一緒に泳ぎ、それはそれは貴重な体験をさせていただきました！
降ったり止んだりな雨の中、寒い思いもしましたが、結果的に友達2人でとても良い思い出になりました！！！

I participated in mid-September. The staff were friendly, and I had a fun experience.

The summer-only early morning course follows this flow: "Boat → Walk on the sandbar → Snorkeling → Breakfast."

However, it can be quite cold in the morning. Once you get into the water, it's manageable, but due to the strong wind, it can be quite uncomfortable when you come out wet. Even without that, if you go with a summer mindset, it feels chilly. (At one point, all the participants were hesitant.)

Make sure to bring something to protect against the wind, or you can borrow a wetsuit.

Also, you need to pay attention to the tides, as there can be times when the water level is quite high.

It's safer to bring a waterproof camera, or you can bring a waterproof case.

There are apparently friendly sea turtles around, and you can often encounter them. (This time, one came quite close to us.)

The price seems a bit on the higher side, but overall, I think it's a good tour.

スタッフの方は感じが良く、楽しく体験出来ました。


夏限定の早朝コースは、
「船→サンドバーで歩く→スノーケリング→朝ご飯」
という流れ。

ただし、朝は結構寒いです。
海に入ってしまえばまだなんとかなるレベルなのですが、
風が強いため、濡れた後に出るとかなり堪えますし、
そうでなくても夏感覚で行くと肌寒いです。
（途中までは参加者がみんなひいていました）

ちゃんと風を防ぐものを持って行くか、
ウェットスーツを貸して下さるのでそれを利用。


また、潮の満ち引きをよく見て行かないと、
普通に水位の高い時もあるようです。

カメラは防水のものを持って行く方が安心して使えます。
あるいは防水ケースを持参。

懐いているウミガメがいるらしく、
ウミガメには結構会える雰囲気。
（今回も、間近にきてくれました）


値段はやや高めの設定な気はしますが、
総じて良いツアーだと思います。

You can enjoy snorkeling in the beautiful sea. You'll even get to meet sea turtles. Plus, the staff is amazing!! They will definitely get you excited.

綺麗な海でシュノーケリングを楽しめる。ウミガメにも会えるよ。それと、スタッフが最高！！盛り上げてくれること間違いなし。

Watching the sea turtles up close was fantastic. I somewhat understood the meaning of the sandbar. Snorkeling...

ウミガメは真近にウォッチングできて満点です。サンドバーはその意味がなんとなく理解できました。シュノーケリングは・・・

The image of the sandbar had me expecting a lot, but when I actually set foot on the sandbar... it felt just like a shallow area? I think it's best to participate with slightly lower expectations. The photos that are often shared are a bit too impressive (ﾟｰﾟ; However, the location is amazing! The sea stretches as far as the eye can see, and it's beautiful. There were many other tour participants, but it didn't feel crowded, and I was able to enjoy myself. Unfortunately, the snorkeling visibility was low, possibly due to the season, but it was still a valuable experience. The Japanese guide's stories and atmosphere were very pleasant. I would love to join again if I have the chance! ♪

サンドバーのイメージ、期待が大きすぎて実際サンドバーに降り立つと。。。。ただの浅瀬？な感じが。。
期待ちょっと少なめで参加してみると丁度よいと思います。
よく公開されている写真が立派すぎるんだと(ﾟｰﾟ;
でもロケーションは最高☆みわたすかぎり海だし綺麗だし
他のツアー参加者さんはたくさんいたけどごみごみと込み合った印象はなく楽しく参加できました。
シュノーケルはあいにく時期が悪かったのか透明度が低かったけれど貴重な体験ができました。
日本語ガイドさんのお話や雰囲気がとても良かったです。
機会があったらまた参加したいです♪

We participated in the afternoon session as a family of four.

On this day, even in the shallowest areas, the water was up to the adults' waist, and the sandbar was not visible.

However, it was quite a strange sight to see so many people in the middle of the ocean, far from the beach.

There was a note regarding snorkeling that mentioned "people with acrophobia," and I hesitated to leave my child behind, so this time, my child and I decided not to participate.

According to my husband, since they wore life vests, there was no chance of sinking, and he had fun seeing beautiful tropical fish.

The malasadas from Leonard's and the buffet-style lunch were delicious.

We were also able to see sea turtles, so we were satisfied.

Next time, I would like to participate in the morning session. Of course, snorkeling too!

家族4人で午後の部に参加しました。

この日は、一番浅いところでも大人の足の付け根あたりで、サンドバーは顔を出していませんでした。

しかしながら、浜辺から離れた海の真ん中に人が大勢いるというのは、何とも不思議な光景でした。

シュノーケリングの際の注意事項に、「高所恐怖症の人」というのがあり、高所恐怖症の子供を置いて参加するのもためらわれたので、今回は私と子供は参加を見合わせました。

参加した主人によると、ライフベストを着ているので絶対に沈むことはないし、綺麗な熱帯魚を見ることもできて楽しかったそうです。

レナーズのマラサダもビュッフェ形式のランチも、おいしかったです。

ウミガメを見ることもできたし、満足です。

次回は午前の部に参加したいです。
もちろんシュノーケリングも！

The water was a bit cold, but as the sun rose, the colors became beautiful and it warmed up, and on top of that, we got to see a rainbow, which was amazing. The explanation about snorkeling was thorough, and even the companions who had felt scared on other tours were able to relax and enjoy themselves. They said they wanted to do more of this kind of thing.

The breakfast was delicious, and I was happy that they shared leftover snacks by putting them in a zip bag for everyone.

水は少々つめたかったけど、太陽が昇るとともに色もきれいにそして、あたたかくなってきて、おまけに虹も見れて最高でした。
　シュノーケルについての説明もていねいで、他のツアーで恐怖感を覚えていた同行者も安心して楽しんでいました。
こんなんやったらもっとしたいそうです。

朝食もおいしく、食べ残ったお菓子などをジップバックに入れてみなさんにわけてくださり、うれしかったです。

It was the tour I was looking forward to the most in Hawaii. It was just as I expected, very good!! The guide was mostly Japanese, which gave me a sense of security. The sandbar was wonderful, but the snorkeling, which was my first time, was also very good. The final turtle watching was satisfying as I was able to see many turtles. If I have the opportunity to go again, I definitely want to go.

ハワイで一番楽しみにしていたツアーでした。
期待通り、とてもよかったです！！
ガイドさんはほとんど日本人だったので、安心感がありました。サンドバーも素晴らしかったけど、初めてのシュノーケリングもとても良かったです。
最後のウミガメウオッチングも、たくさんのウミガメを見ることができ、とても満足のいくツアーでした。
また行く機会があれば是非行きたいです。

I would recommend this to anyone who has not tried scuba diving. My friend and I had a good time and the staff made us feel at ease.

The weather was favorable, and we were able to see many sea turtles. The snacks were delicious, and I was satisfied. The sandbar had a wonderful contrast with the sea and was very beautiful. Next time, I would like to visit during a lower tide.

天候にも恵まれウミガメも数多く見ることができました。軽食も美味しく満足。サンドバーも海のコントラストが素晴らしく綺麗でした。今度はもっと引き潮の時に訪れたいと思います。

We were blessed with good weather and encountered about seven sea turtles. The guide mentioned that days like this are truly rare. We also enjoyed a delicious lunch and had a blissful time.

天候にも恵まれ海がめも7匹ぐらい遭遇し、ガイドさんもこんな日は本当にめずらしいとの事。昼食も美味しく頂き至福の時を過ごせました。

This was the most memorable moment for us. The chance to go underwater for people that can not swim was great. The water was so clear and the fish and turtles just swim up to you. They were so colorful. They were eating out of our hands. The crew was great and they took very good photos. I would love to do this one again. Thanks

I participated in the afternoon session.
We boarded a yacht from the harbor and enjoyed a pleasant breeze while taking in the wonderful scenery during a brief cruise.
I spotted two turtles basking in the sun.

On this day, the sandbar didn't emerge from the water, but it was shallow enough to knee height, allowing us to enjoy the mystery of it.
The weather was nice, but there was quite a bit of wind, so the water felt warmer, almost like being in a hot spring.

While snorkeling, a turtle appeared right in front of me and swam towards me as I was getting my camera ready, which was a bit scary, but I was able to play with the turtle after snorkeling.

I had already enjoyed so much up to this point, but the lunch was absolutely delicious.
The staff asked, "Would you like to eat on the yacht's deck?" and my husband and I took over the space for ourselves (laughs).

Shopping usually takes center stage in Hawaii, but participating in this tour created the best memories and made me think that next time, I definitely want to go out to sea on a yacht again!

午後の部に参加してきました。
港からヨットに乗り、気持ちの良い風を浴びながら、素晴らしい景色を眺めながら、しばしのクルージング。
甲羅干しをしているカメを２匹発見しました。

この日のサンドバーは海面から顔を出すことはありませんでしたが、膝ぐらいの浅さだったので十分神秘を味わえました。
天気は良かったですが、風が結構あったので、水の中の方が温かく、温泉に来ているようでした。

シュノーケリングでは目の前にカメが現れ、カメラを構えていた自分の方に向かってきたので怖かったですが、シュノーケリング後もカメと遊ぶことができました。

ここまでも十分楽しみましたが、なんといってもランチが最高においしかったです。
スタッフの方が「ヨットのデッキで食べますか？」と言ってくれ、夫婦２人で占領させていただきました(笑)

いつもハワイはショッピング中心になりますが、このツアーに参加して、次回も必ずヨットで沖に出よう！と思わしてくれる最高の思い出になりました！！！

A very unique way to experience the ocean and its inhabitants. My boyfriend doesn't know how to swim and was quiet scared. But the staff was very helpful and he overcame his fears. There was also time for snorkling, which was great. A definitely must do. Recommendable for everyone.

I previously participated in a morning tour with my husband in March. At that time, it was cold and the sky was overcast, and the seawater was so cold that we had to give up on snorkeling! However, we got some great photos at the beautiful sandbar!

This time, I joined an afternoon tour with friends! We were able to enjoy snorkeling, but due to the tides, the sandbar seemed to be underwater?? We couldn't see the beach that appeared in the sea. What a shame.

We were able to see sea turtles multiple times and even swam with them!

以前３月に主人と午前のツアー参加した経験ありです。その時は寒く空もどんより・・余りに海水が冷たくシュノーケル断念！しかし、美しいサンドバーと記念写真はバッチリ！
今回は友達と午後のツアー参加！シュノーケルは楽しめましたが、潮の満ち干きの関係？あれっ？サンドバーが海中？？海に現れる砂浜は対面出来ず。残念。
海がめさんは何回も見れたし一緒に海中で泳げましたよ！

We took a boat from a location about 30 minutes by car from Waikiki, starting with sea turtle watching. The turtles were on the smaller side, but we were able to see two or three right away. Then, we quickly arrived at the sandbar.

On the boat, there was an explanation about the option for photo shoots that would be made into a DVD. Since I didn't have a waterproof camera, I signed up right away. Without worrying about getting wet, we were able to take plenty of photos of the two of us with the stunning scenery as the backdrop.

I highly recommend it!! Over 50 photos for $60, ready the same day.

During snorkeling, we got really close to the sea turtles. It was a satisfying tour.

Although it was a morning tour, it wasn't too tiring, and we were able to make good use of the afternoon as well.

　ワイキキから車で30分くらいの所からボートに乗って、
まずは海がめウォッチング。サイズは小さめですが、すぐに２，３匹見ることができました。そして、すぐにサンドバーに到着。

ボートの中でDVDに仕上がる写真撮影のオプションの説明がありました。防水カメラを用意していなかったので、早速申し込みました。濡れる心配もなく、最高の景色を背景に二人の写真を思う存分撮って頂きました。


お勧めです！！50枚以上で60ドル。当日の仕上がりです。

シュノーケリングでは海がめと大接近。満足なツアーです。

午前中のツアーでしたが、そこまで疲れることもなく、午後からの時間も有効に使えました。

We seen so many dolphins and we were even fortunate enough to see Bottlenose Dolphins which are much much bigger than the frequent spinner dolphins. Bottlenose Dolphins do not come around the islands very often so this was a real treat, maybe even a once in a lifetime opportunity!!

The crew was very friendly and they held my sister's hand in the water because she is afraid of sea animals. But ONCE she put her mask on and placed her head under the water, it was a whole different world for her filled with beautiful colored fish and a huge reef system that surrounded her.

Wonderful crew, Tasty food, everyone on-board was really friendly and after a nice dip out in the deep blue ocean, you are treated to an open bar. Great Stuff! Thank you Hawaiiactivities.com and Ocean Joy Cruises for a wonderful dolphin watch and cruise!

On June 21st, a bus picked us up at the hotel at 8:30 AM. Several couples boarded the bus from the same meeting point. After that, we visited three locations with a total of 18 passengers heading to our destination. Along the way, we made a five-minute restroom stop at a park near the destination, and then we arrived at the intended port.

With two buses, we had a total of 45 people boarding the boat. The crew was mostly Japanese, so there were no language concerns. The captain in the yellow T-shirt in the first photo is Mr. Hasegawa. After leaving the port, the boat took almost ten minutes to reach the sandbar. It was so close that there was no time to get seasick. During that time, our guide, Izumi, provided various instructions. Just before we arrived at our destination, we encountered a swimming turtle. I spotted three turtles.

When we arrived at the destination, it looked like this... (fourth photo)! Due to the tides, it may not always be possible to visit at low tide. This time, the water was about knee-deep. We walked around for about 20 minutes before returning to the boat, where half of the group went snorkeling while the rest had a meal. We were part of the meal group. There was more food than we could eat, and everyone was more than satisfied with the amount.

When we started snorkeling, a baby sea turtle approached us. It seemed accustomed to humans and climbed onto the guide's bodyboard. After that, it swam around us.

The snorkeling around the coral had a limited number of fish, which might be a bit disappointing for experienced divers. Since we were wearing life jackets, we couldn't dive.

The snorkeling lasted about 15 minutes. After that, we returned to the boat and headed back to the port.

During that time, the only girl on the boat was chosen by the captain to hold the helm next to him. She seemed nervous, but it was a great experience for her.

While not everything was perfect, the guides had a genuine desire to entertain us, making it an enjoyable tour. It would have been even better if the weather had been nice.

6月21日朝8時半にホテルにピックアップのバスが来た。
同じ集合場所からは数組みのカップルの方がバスに乗り込んだ。その後3か所を回り18名の乗員で目的地に向かった。
途中、トイレ休憩で目的地そばの公園に5分ぐらい止まり、
その後目的の港に着いた。
２台のバスで総勢４５名になり船に乗り込んだ。
クルーはほぼ日本人の方々で言葉は心配ない。
１枚目の写真の黄色のＴシャツのキャプテンは長谷川さんと言う。
船は港を出た後・・・目的地のサンドバーまでほぼ１０分。
船酔いなどしている暇もないぐらい近い。
その間、ガイドのいずみさんが色々諸注意を話してくれた。
目的地に着く寸前、カメが泳いでいるのに遭遇。私は３頭のカメを見つけた。
目的地に着き降りるとこんな感じ・・・４枚目！干満の関係で１００％干潮時に行けない場合もあると言う事だ。
今回は膝の下ぐらいでした。
散歩を２０分ぐらいして船に戻り、半分の方がシュノーケル。残りの人は食事となった。我々は食事の組み。
食事は食べきれないほどあり、だれもが十分満足できる量だった。
次にシュノーケルを始める時、子どものウミガメが我々に近寄ってきた。
人間に慣れているようで、ガイドの方のボディーボードへ乗っかってきた。
その後、我々の周りを回っていた。

サンゴの周辺のシュノーケルは魚影はこの程度でもぐった体験者にはちょっと物足りないかな？
ライフジャケットを着ているので・・・潜る事は出来ない。

シューノーケルは１５分ぐらいだったかな？
その後船に戻って港に戻った。

その際、船に一人しかいなかった娘が船長に指名されて、
キャプテンの横で舵を持たせてもらった。
本人は緊張していたようだが・・・よい経験をさせていただきました。

全てＯＫではないが、ガイドの方々の楽しませようという気持ちがあり。楽しめるツアーになっている。
天気が良ければもっと良いだろう。

"It was written that you have a high chance of encountering sea turtles, but what I wanted to do was 'snorkel with the turtles,' so I participated with half expectation and half anxiety, thinking, 'Maybe I'll just be looking at them from the boat.' But I did it! 'Snorkeling with the turtles!' I think I was lucky. Of course, since they are wild, you can't do it every time, but if I go to Hawaii again, I would like to join this tour."

「海ガメには高い確率で出会えます」と書いてあったけど、
私のやりたいことは、「カメと一緒にシュノーケリング」だったので、「船の上から眺めるだけかなあ」と期待半分不安半分で参加しました。
で、やれました！「カメとのシュノーケリング！」
運が良かったと思います。
もちろん、野生だから、毎回必ず出来るわけじゃないけど、
またハワイに行ったらこのツアーに参加したいと思います。

This is a place I wanted to visit at least once when I went to Hawaii. I was able to take photos, and it was a lot of fun. I signed up for the barbecue course, which I also recommend. The snorkeling was a bit lacking... maybe the visibility wasn't great? Next time, I think I'll try scuba diving.

ハワイにいったら一度は行ってみたかったところです。
写真も撮ってもらえたし、とても楽しかったです。
バーベキューコースを申込しましたが、これもおすすめです。
シュノーケリングはちょっと物足りませんでした。。透明度がいまいちだったのかも？？？次回はスキューバーダイビングをしようと思います。

Is it only for Japanese people? All the participants were Japanese.
The staff was about half Japanese and half foreign. Everyone on the staff was very kind and energetic, which made it a lot of fun.

As for the weather on the day, it would definitely be more beautiful when it's sunny!

Is the sandbar's visibility above the water level just a matter of luck?
Unfortunately, when I went, it was not visible above the water and was submerged up to my knees.

日本人専用なのかな？参加者はすべて日本人でした。
スタッフも日本人と外国人半々くらいでした。スタッフの皆さんはとても親切で元気な人たちばかりで楽しかったですよ。


あとは当日の天候のみ、やっぱり晴れているときはキレイさが増すでしょう！！

サンドバーもどれくらい水面から出ているかは運次第？
私が行ったときは残念ながら水面からは出ておらず、膝位まで海水に沈んでました。

After a 15-minute ride on a medium-sized boat, we arrived at a shallow area with a depth of 20 to 30 centimeters. It was truly surprising. We walked around and chatted there, and then went snorkeling. However, we didn't have much time (about 30 to 40 minutes), which was a bit disappointing. There weren't as many fish as I had expected. The lunch was very delicious, but since it was probably around 3:30 to 4:00 PM, everyone was quite hungry. I think it's better to have a light snack if you're on an afternoon tour. However, I was very happy to unexpectedly receive Leonard's malasadas for free.

中型ボートで15分も走るとそこには20~30センチの浅瀬に。本当に驚きです。そこでウォーキングやおしゃべりなどをしてその後はシュノーケリングへ。ただあまり時間が取れず（30~40分位）そこがちょっと残念でした。お魚は期待していたよりいなかったです。ランチはとてもおいしかったのですが、恐らく3時半~4時位だったので、みんなお腹がペコペコでした。午後のツアーの場合、軽く食べていったほうがいいと思います。ただ、レナーズのマサラダが無料で配られ思いもよらなかったのでとても嬉しかったです。

The sandbar changes completely depending on the tides, and I think its uniqueness deserves a perfect score of 100. However, it's important to note that it doesn't always form a beach in the middle of the sea as shown in the pictures. Those who are lucky might find a beach, while others can enjoy the sea turtles.

サンドバーはそのときの潮の満ち引きによって全然景色が変わるし、珍しさは１００点だと思います。
ただ、写真のように海の真ん中に浜になっているとは限らないので要注意。運がいい人は浜に当たるかもね。浜に出会えない方は海ガメで楽しめるかも。

I traveled with my 82-year-old mother, and she was able to walk without any issues, which made us very happy. It was a tour that everyone in the family enjoyed. It was a very beautiful place, and it became a lifelong memory for both my mother and me. Thank you very much.

82歳母との同行でしたが、全く問題なく歩けてとても喜んでおりました。参加した家族全員が喜んで遊べたツアーでした。とても綺麗な場所で母にも私にも一生の思い出になりました。有難うございました。

I participated in the most popular tour, the afternoon BBQ lunch tour, which is known for its delicious food. The weather was great, and the sea was beautiful! I realized I had forgotten my video camera on the shuttle bus. What a shock! I had bought a compact video camera to capture this sea... In the early morning, I joined the Diamond Head sunrise tour. I guess I was a bit relaxed, and while searching for a shop near the boat departure point, I found none.

When I asked the staff, they mentioned that waterproof cameras called "Utsurun desu" are sold on the boat... When I tried to buy one, I learned about a service that turns photos taken at the sand bar into a DVD. The sand bar is a famous spot for commercial filming. Hmm. The "Utsurun desu" camera costs $20, while the DVD shooting is $45... I thought about having a photo DVD made of me, my son, and my mother.

However, we had to pose properly... arms wide open, all three of us overlapping, and so on. Plus, I was bare-faced with messy hair... I thought the woman in a bikini taking our photos looked much more suited to the beautiful sea... but we went ahead with it. My son had a stiff expression the whole time. My mother looked great in the photos, and the photo spots were indeed well-chosen.

The finished photos turned out beautifully. However, having to pick them up at the office near DFS after 7 PM that day was a bit inconvenient. I wished there was a delivery service to the hotel.

After that, we went snorkeling. My son, who had been taking swimming lessons, of course participated. I also joined since I had gotten somewhat used to it at Hanauma Bay on the first day. However, the water was 20 meters deep. The distance was about 100 meters round trip, I think. It suddenly got deep from knee-deep water. Some women decided not to participate, fearing they might panic at that depth, but I can only swim about 25 meters. There were small children participating with their fathers, so it was okay. However, the visibility wasn't that great, and I could only see a few fish far below.

We saw several sea turtles from the boat on the way to the sand bar.

The BBQ lunch after snorkeling was delicious, just as I had expected. The kalbi meat was easy to eat, and we all commented on how tasty the salad was.

ツアーで一番人気の、このツアーＢＢＱランチが美味しいという評判の午後ツアーに参加してきました。
天気も良く、海も綺麗！送迎のバスの中でビデオカメラを忘れてきたことに気がつきました。ショック。この海を撮りたくて小型ビデオカメラを購入したのに・・・早朝、ダイアモンドヘッド日の出ツアーに参加。きっと、気が緩んでいたんでしょうねと思いつつ、ボートの発着所付近にショップはないか、捜しましたがありません。

スタッフの方に聞くと、「写るんです」の防水カメラはボート内で販売しているとか・・・購入しようとすると、このサンド・バーで写真をＤＶＤにしてくれるというサービスがあることを知りました。サンド・バーはＣＭ撮影で有名なスポット。う~ん。「写るんです」は２０ドル。ＤＶＤ撮影は４５ドル・・・いっそ、私と息子、母の３人を撮ってもらおうかと写真ＤＶＤをお願いしました。
しかし、ポーズをしっかりつけること・・・両手を広げて、三人重なって・・などなど。しかも、私はノーメイクで、髪はボサボサ・・・写真を撮ってくださるビキニの女性の方がよほど、この海の景色に似合いそうだ・・・などと思いつつ撮ってもらいました。息子は終始、かたい表情。母は、良い表情に撮れていましたし、写真を撮るスポットはさすがに、慣れているだけあって良かったです。

出来上がったものは、綺麗に撮れていました。
その日の１９時以降にＤＦＳの近くの事務所まで受け取りに行くのが、ちょっと。ホテルまで届けてくれるサービスなどあればと思いました。

その後はシュノーケリング。息子はスイミングを習っていたので、もちろん参加。私も初日のハナウマ湾で、やや慣れたので参加。けれど、水深２０メートル。距離は往復で１００メートル~だと思います。膝ほどの水深からいきなり、深くなります。
水深が２０メートルだと、途中でパニックになるかもしれないなどど参加をやめた女性もいましたが、私も２５メートルほどしか泳げません。小さな子供もお父さんと参加していたので、大丈夫です。ただし、透明度はそれほどではなく、魚もずっと下の方に少し見えるくらいでした。
海ガメは、サンド・バーに行く途上で何匹も船上から見えました。

シュノーケリングの後のＢＢＱランチは期待通り、美味しかったです。カルビ肉は食べやすく、サラダも味付けが美味しいねと皆で話していま

On March 21, 2011, I participated in this tour with my parents and my son (8 years old). It was cloudy in Waikiki, and there was a bit of rain on the mountain roads, so I was worried about the weather. However, when we arrived at the location, it wasn't perfectly sunny, but the weather was decent with some sunshine. Even in late March, the water temperature was still low. During this tour, we snorkeled twice at different points, but during the first snorkeling session, my son and the other children turned blue in the lips and were shivering. The adults, including myself, didn't feel as cold, but if children are going snorkeling at this time of year, a rash guard might not be warm enough. The snorkeling left a stronger impression than walking on the sandbar. Most of the staff were Japanese, so they kindly explained how to wear and use the snorkeling gear in Japanese, which made me feel at ease. During the first snorkeling session, we encountered a sea turtle. The colorful tropical fish and the sea turtle were truly moving. We boarded the cruiser, which took us to the snorkeling points, and even though the meals on board were light snacks, they were quite delicious. For the second snorkeling session, I was told that the current was a bit stronger than at the first point, but even as a beginner, I was able to snorkel without being swept away. This point had clearer water and a more beautiful sea. We didn't see any sea turtles here, but afterward, we returned to the boat for turtle watching. We discovered many sea turtles, and my parents, who didn't snorkel, also enjoyed it. All the staff were kind, and I would definitely recommend this tour.

２０１１年３月２１日にこのツアーに私の両親と私と息子（８歳）で参加しました。ワイキキでは曇りで途中山道でも雨がちらつき、天候が心配でしたが、現地に到着するとピーカンではありませんでしたが、日差しもぼちぼちの天候となりました。3月下旬でもやはり水温は低く、このツアーではポイントを変えて２回シュノーケルしたのですが、１度目のシュノーケルで、息子も含め他の子供達も唇が真っ青でぶるぶる震えるような感じになりました。私や他の大人の方々は、それほど寒さを感じませんでしたが、この時期のシュノーケルは、お子さんが行かれるのであれば、ラッシュガードでは寒いかもしれません。サンドバーのウォーキングよりは、シュノーケルが印象に残りました。スタッフは日本の方がほとんどでしたので、日本語で丁寧にシュノーケルの装着や使い方について説明してくださり、安心してシュノーケルができました。1度目のシュノーケル時にウミガメに遭遇しました。色とりどりの熱帯魚とウミガメ、それはもう感動的でした。クルーザーに乗り込み、ポイントまで連れていっていただいたのですが、船内での食事も軽食とはいえ、なかなかおいしかったです。２度目のシュノーケルは、最初のポイントよりやや潮の流れがあるとのことでしたが、初心者の私でも流されることなく安心してシュノーケルできました。こちらのポイントの方が透明度が高く美しい海でした。ここではウミガメには会えませんでしたが、その後船に戻りウミガメウォッチングをしました。
たくさんのウミガメを発見して、こちらはシュノーケルはしなかった私の両親も楽しんでいました。
スタッフのみなさんもどなたも親切ですし、是非お勧めしたいツアーです。
