This was my third time participating, and depending on the timing and the people going, the condition of the sandbar varied, which made it enjoyable. I was able to see a lot of sea turtles 🐢. During our free time, I had fun doing stand-up paddleboarding (SUP). The snacks, spam musubi, and drinks on the boat were plentiful. It was a tour that went by in the blink of an eye. The female staff were all lively and wonderful.

Two crew members entertained us a lot and took many photos for $40. They transferred the photos to my iPhone right after we disembarked and gave us an SD card. They took about 150 photos, including some scenic views from the ship. When they asked if it was okay to drop into the sea, I said yes, and they played with us a lot. It was the best activity!

The arrival bus came on time, and there were Japanese staff who provided a thorough explanation upon arrival. After that, the communication was in English, and while there were some things I didn't understand, I never felt completely lost or troubled. It was great that we could watch a video explanation on the bus, which minimized any downtime after arriving.

On the day of the trip, it was colder than I expected, so I couldn't snorkel for a long time. However, I was very grateful that they were flexible and accommodated a sudden change in the return bus schedule when I negotiated it on the spot.

I brought my own snorkeling set, but for those who don't have one, rentals are available on-site. The bus was easily recognizable with the company's logo, which was also a nice touch!

You will have ample opportunity to take your own pictures , so no need to waste those 49$ for poor quality images.

The morning was quite challenging. I didn't read the voucher carefully, and the meeting place was not at the hotel where I was staying, but about a 7-minute walk away.

Since I arrived 15 minutes early, I was able to make it to the correct meeting place on time. The driver didn't understand any Japanese, but he was a really nice person.

I experienced this two days after the Honolulu Marathon, but unfortunately, the weather was bad with high waves, and some people got seasick before the boat even left the shore. I encountered sea turtles at various beaches, and visiting the macadamia nut farm and coffee plantation was enjoyable as well. Above all, our guide Jonathan's chatter made it a truly delightful tour. I had the best beach experience in Hawaii! Since it was my first tour in Hawaii, I was a bit nervous, but there were Japanese-speaking guides, which made boarding the bus and entering Hanauma Bay go smoothly! During the shuttle ride, they announced information about the surrounding attractions, so I didn't feel bored on the bus. Also, when renting the snorkeling gear, there was a staff member who spoke Japanese, so I was able to borrow it without any issues! The ocean was incredibly beautiful, and everything I saw was a breathtaking view!

This was our second family trip to Hawaii, and while we were debating what activities to do, we found this one. After checking with the kids, they seemed excited, so we decided to sign up. Unfortunately, it was cloudy on the day of our activity, but we had a great time nonetheless. My eldest son, who is not fond of heights, said it was a bit scary, but my daughter and younger son, who is in elementary school, loved it and wanted to do it again.

I thought I would feel more scared when going up, but I ascended smoothly and didn't feel scared at all. It was a great opportunity to see Waikiki Beach and Diamond Head from the ocean direction, something I had never experienced before.

We were also lucky enough to see whales from the boat. My eldest son was right above them, so he got to see the whales from the sky.

The staff were kind, and we were able to enjoy the experience thoroughly.

今回運良く、ボートから鯨を見ることもできました。長男はちょうど上にいた為、空から鯨の様子を見れたということです。
スタッフの方も優しく、楽しんで体験することができました。

It offers a lively, pre-packaged, easy-to-digest introduction to hula, Hawaiian culture, and local history—mixed with plenty of iconic pop-culture moments that Hawaii has embraced and celebrated over time. The experience is broken into a few different ticket options, and what you pay really affects what you get. Here’s what to know before you go:

1. Ticket options & pricing
You can choose between show-only tickets or a luau buffet paired with the show. Pricing varies quite a bit. I was able to snag a 2-for-1 show-only deal, which came out to about $43 per person, and I also saw a single-ticket promo for around $60. The luau + show packages run $100+ depending on whether you upgrade to VIP. The buffet is definitely better suited for non-vegetarians, but there are some meat-free options.

2. The venue & overall vibe
This is a non-traditional show set in a large, comfortable amphitheater on the top floor of a shopping plaza. The show opens with a short historical video about the land and people of Hawaii set in 1920, which sets the timeline for the rest of the performance. From start to finish, the show runs about 1 hour and 10 minutes—just the right length in my opinion.

You’ll also see nods to familiar cultural touchstones like Israel Kamakawiwoʻole’s “Somewhere Over the Rainbow,” Moana, and finally, a dramatic flaming poi performance honoring the fire goddess.
