My friends and I had a great time at the Waikiki Starlight Luau!
The location is very convenient and we could just walk from our our hotel. Once we arrived the check-in was fast and we had a friendly staff greeting us with a Hawaiian lei and a welcome drink, nothing better than start the night with a Mai Tai! The food was very delicious and I love the variety of the food, specially the salads. It's great that they have a station specially for the kids.
The show was wonderful, full of delightful performances. My favorite part was the fire knife dance and to learn more about the other Polynesian cultures like Tonga, New Zeland, Samoa and Tahiti.
I would for sure come back to the this luau!

Whatever your preferences are, you'll probably only have one chance in your life to see Elvis perform live on stage with a group of talented Polynesian dancers. Throw in a pretty great luau dinner and you can begin to see why this show is so popular. Personally, I'm not a huge fan of the artists that were featured that night, but it is still really entertaining to see a group of people so devoted to their craft. I highly recommend this for couples staying in Waikiki.

My husband and I recently moved to Oahu, and my parents were coming to visit us for Thanksgiving....I wanted to find something different we could do so I thought a dinner cruise would be perfect and relaxing. The food was subpar, and they made it seem like it was going to be a huge spread. We did not get to see fireworks, when the weather seemed fine. And towards the end of the cruise, we were just hanging out in the same area for quite some time before we had to dock. I am usually not one to complain, or write reviews, but I suggest you ask specific questions if considering these particular cruises so you are not left disappointed. We felt as though it was a waste of our money, and we would have rather gone out for a nice dinner, and sat outside to watch the sunset.

The sunset view in Waikiki is amazing, but I had a memory of the dinner cruise food being... so for our first family trip to Hawaii, I chose only the sunset cruise and participated in this tour. It was a bit chilly as we were properly exposed to the wind, but I had a fun and pleasant time.

ワイキキに夕陽が落ちていく景色は最高なんだけど、ディナークルーズの食事は･･･という記憶があったので、初の家族ハワイ旅ではサンセットクルーズのみを選択して、このツアーに参加。まともに風を受けるので少し肌寒いですが、楽しく、気持ちよく過ごせました。

Two years ago, I experienced a dinner cruise on a catamaran, and based on that experience, I signed up again this time, but it was completely different.

First of all, last time we had a two-person table by the window where we could enjoy music and hula dancing while dining. This time, however, we were seated at a round table for eight on the first floor, and our tablemates were loud Westerners. I had requested the best plan, which was supposed to include lobster and was located near the restroom at the back near the entrance, but even though I knew it was a buffet, the food quality was the worst I had ever experienced. I accepted everything and finished my meal quickly to head up to the deck on the third floor. As I glanced at the second floor, I couldn't help but feel frustrated at the crew members who had assigned us to our groups when boarding, thinking, "Was it that person who made the mistake?"

The reason for my frustration was that the second-floor seating was arranged with individual two-person tables in a calm and quiet atmosphere, and I felt envious watching them enjoy their meals. What was I doing on the first floor? I realized that no one had lobster either! This only added to my anger and regret. I thought I would never ride again, so I kept it to myself, but I received an email asking for my experience, so I decided to share it in hopes it might help those considering this cruise.

2年前にもカタマランタイプの船にてディナークルーズを体験しました、その時のイメージにて
今回も申し込んだのですが、まったく別物でした。
まず、席が前回は2人掛けの席で、窓側を確保して頂き音楽やフラダンス等を鑑賞しながら
食事ができたものが、今回は１階フロアで円卓の8人掛け　そして合い席の方々は大声で話する欧米の方でした。　最後尾中央の出入り口近くでトイレの一番近く、ロブスター付きの一番良いとされるプランでお願いしたものが、ビッフェと判っていたものの、食事内容は過去最低　すべて受け入れて軽く食事を済ませ、早々に3階のデッキにに上がるため途中の2階フロアを横目で見た途端に、乗船時にグループごとに振り分けていたクルーの顔が憎たらしく感じ、「あいつが間違えやがったのか！」と思え尚更悔しく思いました。
その理由が、2階席が2人掛けの個別席で用意されいてすごく静かな落ち着いた良い雰囲気の中
食事されている様子が羨ましく感じ、今の1階で食事していたのは何！　そういえば誰もロブスターは無かったし！　と考えれば余計に腹立たしくも思え後悔だけがこみ上げましたが、　2度と乗る事もないのでと胸の内にしまっていましたが、体験談を書いて下さいのメールが入っていたので、　検討中の方々に参考になればと　思い投稿することにしました。

Great staff, excellent selection of drinks at the bar! I've been on a lot of tours like it but this stood out as one of the best.

Overall experience was fantastic. Felt like a condensed cruise trip. Need to make sure you don't eat the trip away because they keep bringing food and before you know it you are back to the dock. Good entertainment staff.

It's full of couples and groups of friends.

It seems like there's an all-you-can-drink option, but the boat sways quite a bit, so I only had one drink.

The sunset view from the boat was really nice.

This was an awesome trip. We had quite some waves on the ocean but the boat felt save all the time.
The people are nice. Good drinks.

The crew for this catamaran was awesome, super friendly and great people to talk to my wife and I truly enjoyed ourself. I would say we had one of the best seats to watch the fireworks

Unfortunately, the cloudy sky meant we couldn't see the sunset at all, which was disappointing. However, the staff were very friendly to families, and it was a lively and fun atmosphere, especially with tourists from Europe and America. I was a bit taken aback by two women speaking in Kansai dialect who were dancing wildly with strange energy... I would like to try again on a day with better weather.

あいにくの曇り空でサンセットが全く見れず残念でした。
ただ、スタッフは家族連れにも親切で欧米からの観光客を中心にわいわい楽しくといった感じで良かったです。関西弁の女性二人が変なテンションで踊り狂っていたのにはちょっと引きましたが。。。
今度は天気の良い日に再度トライしたいと思います。

It seems early to see it in November, but I jumped from a distance where I could see it with the naked eye. When I looked in the direction the staff pointed, I jumped. The sunset and Mai Tai were wonderful. There are few Japanese people, so it feels like being abroad.

１１月に見れるなんて早いらしいですが、遠くでしたが肉眼で見えるくらいのところでジャンプしました。スタッフは指さした方向を見たら、
跳ねました。夕日もマイタイも素晴らしい。
日本人は少ないので外国に来たって感じですよ。

I am satisfied with this for the price. It goes both towards Diamond Head and Pearl Harbor. There’s no sailing with a slope like a race, but it feels great to ride while being hit by the waves.

これ、価格の割に満足できます。ダイヤモンドヘッド方面へもパールハーバー方面にも両方行きます。レースのような傾斜をつけて走る航行はないけど、波を受けながら走り超気持ちいい。

This was my first time participating this summer. The meeting place was a bit hard to find, and the waiting time was a little long, but I am satisfied with the content for this price! Since it was a Friday, I was able to see the fireworks from the boat! There were many foreign guests on board, which added to the atmosphere, and we all had a great time together! The duration was longer than I expected, and after the fireworks, I was able to enjoy the night view of Waikiki! I would like to participate during sunset next time!

今夏初めての参加でした。
集合場所が少し分かりにくかったのと、待ち時間が少し長かったですが、このお値段でこの内容には満足です！
今回はちょうど金曜日だったので、船から花火を見ることが出来ました！
船内は外国人のお客さんが多く、雰囲気もあって、皆んなで盛り上がりとっても楽しい時間を過ごせました！
所要時間も思っていたより長く、花火が終わった後もワイキキの夜景を堪能出来ました！
次はサンセットの時間に参加したいですね！

The funniest crew ever! They made sure everyone had a good time and being in the splash zone was a blast. Amazing view of Diamond Head and more. So much room to move around onboard and the entire cruise was just overall fun and relaxing!

I have visited Hawaii many times, but this was my first experience watching fireworks from the ocean! It was incredibly beautiful. I can't drink alcohol, but my friends and their kids had a great time participating. It even rained during the fireworks, but it was still amazing.

何度もハワイを訪問していますが、今回初の体験。海から見る花火！最高にきれいでした。お酒は飲めない私ですが、友人親子はとても楽しんで参加していました。花火に合わせ雨が降ったのですが、それでも最高でした。

This was a lot of fun, and staff were super friendly! Watching the sun set on the water was a great experience. Only tiny issue was there was only one cocktail, and it was premade. But there was heaps of other options to choose from.

Me and my husband thought about going to hawaii for our first wedding anniversary. I did our itinerary for hawaii and I am so glad that I purchased this! I got seasick cause im not used to cruising but overall it was very worth it purchasing this. My husband and i really had fun. They played music and sells alcoholic or non alcoholic drink which it made more cooler, they'll take you in the middle of the ocean and show you a very nice view of waikiki, you can see the fishes. it was very scenic!!!!! the staffs are really friendly, they'll give you instructions about what to do and what not to do. Make sure you follow 'em. I will surely try this again for our next visit to honolulu!! PS: bring your sunscreen!! :-)

The dolphin tour we initially planned was suddenly canceled three days before departure, so I quickly searched online and found this tour. There were similar sailing options, but since we were staying at Hilton Hawaiian Village, we decided on this tour. I felt reassured that VELTRA confirmed the reservation at the time of booking.

On the day of the tour, it rained in the morning... I thought it might get canceled, but by the afternoon, the rain cleared, and we departed from the beach as scheduled! Once we were out at sea, we set the sails and let the wind and waves guide us... At this point, the refreshing feeling was indescribable! The view from the sea of Waikiki and Diamond Head was also amazing. There was only one other family besides us participating, so we were able to take our time taking photos and videos on board. The taste of beer on the water was the best.

The captain and staff were very friendly, and they provided explanations in Japanese on board.

We thoroughly enjoyed the one-hour sailing. We didn't see any dolphins, but we were very satisfied. (o^－^o)

当初予定していたドルフィンツアーが出発3日前に突然の中止になり 急遽ネット検索し、このツアーにたどり着きました。同じ様なセーリングもあったのですが ヒルトンハワイアンビレッジに宿泊していたのでこのツアーに決めました。VELTRAは申し込と同時に予約確定か否かが分かるので安心しました。

当日は朝から雨･･これはcancelになるかと思いきや午後には雨も上り予定通りビーチから出発❗沖に出ると帆を張り風任せ 波任せ･･ここまでくると何とも言えない爽快感ﾃﾞｽ❗海から見るワイキキからダイヤモンドヘッド迄の景色も素晴らしかった。参加者は私達の他にファミリーが1組のみ･･船上ではゆったり写真や動画を撮る事が出来ました。海上でのビールの味も最高
キャプテンを始めstaffはとてもフレンドリー 船上では 日本語で説明してくれます。

1時間のセーリングを満喫しました。イルカは見られなかったけど大満足しました。(o^－^o)

We had a fantastic time. The crew were professinal and friendly. There was a good mix of people. And the views were beautiful.

Since my husband and I have seen the fireworks on Friday many times, this time we decided to join a tour to watch them from a boat. There were a lot of people on board, so it didn't feel like a relaxed sunset viewing. There were many large foreign tourists, and around the time of departure, we felt a bit intimidated since we are not very good at English. We were able to see the fireworks, but since it was from a distance, they were smaller than we expected.

主人と金曜日の花火は何度も見ているので、今回は船の上から見ようとツアーに参加しました。
とても大勢の人が乗っていて、ゆったりサンセットを鑑賞する感じではありませんでした。
体の大きな外国人が多く、出航の頃は英語が苦手な私達は気後れしてしまいました。
花火は見られましたが、遠くからなので思ったより小さかったです。

I had the best experience watching a beautiful sunset over the sea while enjoying a drink. The price was also very reasonable, which was great.

すごく綺麗な夕日をお酒のみながら海の上で見るという最高な体験をさせてもらいました。
値段も、リーズナブルですごくよかったです。

I was a bit anxious because the explanation was only in English, and there were few Japanese participants, but I wanted to experience the sunset cruise on a catamaran that you can't enjoy on a large dinner cruise, so I joined! Along with the lively crew and other passengers, I enjoyed cocktails while taking in the beautiful sea! I was able to spend a wonderful time in Hawaii, admiring the luxurious views from blue to sunset and then to the night scenery! Actually, we were also visiting Waikiki for our son's wedding, and on that day, there was a newlywed couple from abroad on board as well, which added to the happy atmosphere and made it the best moment!

説明が英語のみということで、日本人の参加は少なく、不安でしたが、大きなディナークルーズでは味わえないカタマランのサンセットクルーズに乗りたかったので参加！
ノリノリのクルーと乗船客に交じって、カクテルを飲みながら、美しい海を満喫しました！青から、夕陽、そして夜景と贅沢な景色を眺めながら、ハワイの素敵な時間を過ごすことができました！実は私たちも息子の結婚式でワイキキを訪れていたのですが、ちょうどこの日は外国人の新婚カップルも同乗してて、幸せ気分もいただいて最高のひと時でした！

I was worried about the rocking since it was a yacht, but the weather was very calm that day, and the pregnant woman who joined us was able to board safely. The staff were kind, taking photos for us and interacting with other guests, making it a fun time. We also got to see a beautiful sunset, and we were able to see Diamond Head up close, which made me very satisfied!

ヨットということで揺れが心配でしたがこの日はとても穏やかで一緒に行った妊婦も無事乗船できました。スタッフのかたも優しく写真をとってくださったり、ほかのお客さんと交流したり楽しいじかんでした。また夕日もきれいにみれましたし、ダイヤモンドヘッドも間近でみることができ、大変満足しました！

The sunset, which allows you to enjoy the changing colors of the sky, was very beautiful, and seeing Waikiki from the sea was refreshing. The sunset cruise offers both the daytime scenery and the sparkling night view. There was little rocking of the boat, so even I, who am sensitive to motion, was able to enjoy it comfortably. In addition to unlimited Mai Tais, there was also champagne available!

空の色の変化を楽しめるサンセットもとてもキレイでしたが、海から見るワイキキも新鮮でした。サンセットクルーズは昼間の景色とキラキラ夜景の両方が漫喫出来ます。船の揺れも少なく、船に弱い私も快適に楽しめました♪マイタイ飲み放題の他にもシャンパンもありましたよ♪

I used this service on the day I arrived in Hawaii. The staff were all very friendly and cheerful. When I tried to take a selfie, a staff member offered to take a photo for me. However, I felt that the variety of dishes at the buffet was a bit lacking, so I rated it one star lower. The taste was just okay. After finishing the meal, we moved to the upper floor to watch the sunset.

There wasn't much time between the meal and the sunset, and we had quite a bit of time to spare from sunset until we disembarked, but we enjoyed a wonderful time watching live performances and hula!

ハワイに到着した日に利用しました。
スタッフの方はニコニコ、とても感じの良い方達ばかりでした。
自撮りしようとしたら、写真撮りましょうか？とスタッフの方から声を掛けてくれました。
ただ、ビュッフェの品数が少し物足りなかったので☆−1です。味はまぁ、こんなものかなと行った感じです。
お食事が終わってから上の階へ移動し、サンセットを見ました。

食事〜サンセットまであまり時間がなく、日没〜船を降りるまで割と時間を持て余しましたが、生演奏やフラを見れて素敵な時間を過ごせました！

I boarded with my aunts who are nearly 80 years old. I was worried about whether it would be okay for seniors, so I hesitated to sign up, but there was no severe rocking, and it was a relaxed cruise. The view of Honolulu from the sea was refreshing, and the breeze felt nice. I'm glad I went, but I really wish we could have gone a bit further out where dolphins might be.

80近い叔母たちと乗船しました。高齢者も大丈夫か不安で申し込みを迷ってましたが、激しい揺れもなく、ゆったりとしたクルーズでした。海からホノルルの景色が新鮮で風も気持ちよく、乗って良かったですが、もうちょっとほんとにイルカがいそうな沖まで行きたかったな。
