I wanted to show my 80-year-old father, who loves Elvis, so I went. I thought the food would be mediocre, so we went to a restaurant we liked. At the entrance, we ordered our favorite drinks (make sure to bring money as it's an additional charge) and participated just to see the show. Our seats were at the very back.

It had been 20 years since I last attended. I was wondering how it would be, but it was so much fun! From Hawaiian shows to impersonations! The quality was high, and the audience was never bored, as expected!

There was a Japanese lady really getting into it during Elvis's "Jailhouse Rock," and she got a hug from Elvis ♥ It was so much fun! My daughter also enjoyed herself in her own way! We enjoyed our meal and then casually went to see the show without feeling pressured or being stuck for a long time, which was great! I've heard the air conditioning is strong, so a long-sleeve shirt is a must.

I even recommended it to a friend who is going to Hawaii next week! My daughter kept saying that the impersonator of Michael was the staff member who was pouring beer at the entrance! I wonder if that's true...

We were the only Japanese family. It was fun to experience the waves that soaked us and share smiles with the surrounding Americans. The scenery was amazing as we passed Diamond Head and enjoyed the waters off Honolulu all the way to Ala Moana. We participated in various optional tours, but this was the most enjoyable optional tour in Hawaii. I would do it again.

We happened to attend on the one day it rained. luckily we weren't in the boat during heavy rain but it meant we could see the lovely island view from the boat due to the clouds and had to return slightly early. Since I came all the way to Hawaii, I booked a show. At first, I signed up for a show with transportation included, but since the meeting point was farther from the hotel, I opted for this one that I could get to on my own. For those with a short stay, I think it's good because you can see it in Waikiki, which minimizes time loss. It was standard, but it included a welcome drink plus one drink, and the food was decent. Perhaps because it was small, all the seats were relatively close to the stage. There was also a face painting service for kids, which they enjoyed. I think it's a good experience to try at least once.

The food and service were all very good. The dishes were suitable for my 4 and 8-year-old children, who even asked for seconds. The fruits were fresh as well. It was a luxury to view Waikiki from the seaside, and we were able to relax. The staff mentioned that it had rained the day before, but they saw a rainbow. That kind of scenery is nice too.

On August 17, I attended the Rock-a-Hula VIP dinner. First of all, by booking the VIP experience, you can enter earlier than general guests. While waiting for the opening time, hula dancers and singers come out to perform on a mini stage. Then, with excitement, we entered and were greeted by none other than Michael Jackson! We took a commemorative photo together! (This photo can be purchased with a frame.) As we moved further in, the staff welcomed us with a welcome drink and hors d'oeuvres. After relaxing for a while, we were shown to our seats. I thought the seating was a bit cramped, but once the meal started, it wasn't a big deal.

The food was five stars! Lobster arrived along with fruits and salad. I imagined it would be the kind of dry lobster served at weddings, but it was completely different. The meat was firm (but not tough) and came out easily from the shell, and it was delicious. The presentation was beautiful as well. Additionally, the main course of beef and Alaska salmon was served on warmed plates to keep the food from getting cold. What a thoughtful touch! The mashed potatoes on the side were also excellent. Overall, the portion sizes were just right, and it was a well-balanced meal.

By the time we finished the course, an announcement for the show began. The artists performing that day were Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson, and Katy Perry. What a hit!! With captivating voices and dynamic dances, sometimes elegant and smooth. It was truly a stage where rock and hula merged. Even those who are not familiar with Western music can enjoy it fully!! I won't go into details, as the artists change depending on the day, and more than anything, I want everyone who will be going to experience the great excitement. Highly recommended!!

料理は５つ星です！フルーツやサラダと一緒にロブスターがやってきました。ああ、きっと結婚式で出てくるようなモソモソしたものなのだろうと想像していましたが、全くの別物でした。身がブリンと引き締まっていて（固くはないです）殻から取れやすく、おいしかったです。盛り付けも綺麗でした。また、メインのビーフ＆アラスカサーモンは、料理が冷めないよう温まったお皿にのって出てきました。うれしい心遣いです。付け合わせのマッシュポテトも最高でした。全体的に量が程よく、バランスのよいお食事でした。

Great night out as a couple of kiwi friends wanting to experience the nightlife of Honolulu. We had a taxi pick us and take us back into town after which was extremely convenient. Well organised and great host Bogie! We went to 3 very different bars and had around 45 minutes at each. Each bar provided very good service however the last 2 did not sell spirits. We had a great group of people from 3 different countries and even some locals. And by the end of the night we ended up in kareoke bar after the bike tour ended. Would recommend this experience as a great/reliable/safe/fun way to your the night life of Honolulu!!!!!!!

I watched the Rock of Ages show from the VIP seats! Upon entering, we were welcomed with a welcome drink, and then we enjoyed dinner. The lobster, salmon, and meat were all very filling, and we also got one free drink. The meat and bread were especially delicious.

As for the main show, overall I was satisfied, but it would have been even better if Michael and Elvis's songs had been more popular hits! That said, there were hula performances and fire dances, making for a rich experience!

We had a wonderful evening on Makani. After reviewing several dinner cruise options, we selected Makani due to the great reviews and good price. It was one of our favorite excursions on our vacation!
The pros: The staff was great - funny and personable. The food was good and there was a large drink selection, alcoholic or non-alcoholic. It was a very relaxing cruise with a beautiful view; it lasted approximately two hours, so you get to enjoy the sunset, as well.
The cons: There is only one, which is that they provide transportation, but not from our hotel. Though they didn't require us to go very far, it was a bit confusing trying to find our pick up point as that particular hotel has several locations. Also a slight put off considering we passed our hotel going to the marina. All was fine in the end though, as it was nice that transportation was provided at no additional cost.
Overall, I would highly recommend this excursion. We really enjoyed the relaxing, beautiful evening aboard the Makani Dinner Cruise.

This was my first time participating with my child.

Before the show, we waited at the entrance while choosing drinks with or without alcohol and snacking on light appetizers like fruits and nuts. Then we were shown to our seats.

Our seats were right in front of the main stage, and we had dinner first, but it took a while to place our drink orders as no one came to assist us. Just before the show started, other guests began to enter the second-floor seats, and we were still eating dinner, which made it a bit embarrassing as they could see us from above.

Once the show began, everyone was captivated, and it was so much fun that it ended in the blink of an eye. The excitement was incredible.

After the show, we waited at the designated spot as instructed by the staff from Veltra, but for some reason, a few people from the same hotel left and boarded a microbus going to a different hotel.

Later, I found out that the staff had actually arranged a separate bus for our hotel. (The bus arrived quickly.) They apologized multiple times, and after we boarded that bus, we were the only ones, so they dropped us off very close to our hotel instead of the bus stop we had originally departed from.

I truly appreciate how kindly and properly they handled the unexpected situation. If there are more enjoyable tours in the future, I would love to participate again!

ショーの前に入り口で、アルコール有りか無しの飲み物を選びフルーツやナッツの軽いおつまみをつまみながら待ち、席に案内されます。

ショーの席はメインのすぐ前で先にディナーをいただくのですが、飲み物のオーダーがなかなか出来ず（人が来ない）少し待たされました。
始まる直前に2階席に別の客が続々入ってくるのですが、まだディナーをこちら側は食べていて上からその様子を見られているようでちょっと恥ずかしかったです。

ショーが始まると皆さん釘付けで、本当に楽しくあっと言う間に終わってしまいました。
迫力も満点。

終了後、ベルトラの付き添いの方が待つよう指示した場所にしばらくいたのですが同じホテルから来た数名がなぜか行ってしまい、別のホテル行きのマイクロバスに先に乗り込んでしまいました。

後でわかったのですが担当の方はうちのホテル行きのバスを別にちゃんと頼んでいてくれていたのです。（バスはすぐ来ました）
何度も謝ってくださり、またそのバスに乗った後、わが家だけだったので行きのバス停より泊まったホテルのすぐ近くで降ろしてくれました。

不測の時も親切にきちんと対応してくれて本当にありがとうございました。
また楽しいツアーがありましたらぜひ参加させてください！

This cruise is very relaxing and gives you the opportunity to calm down and enjoy the evening in a friendly and family oriented environment, specially if you have already done lots of adventurous activities elsewhere. I definitely recommend to go on this cruise as part of your Oahu trip. We saw lots of couples and families and they all seemed to be enjoying the cruise, specially during the sunset. In addition, the food was pretty good too. It included several options and there was plenty so I think you won't leave the boat hungry. If I go back to Oahu, I will go back on this cruise again specially towards the end of my trip to chill, relax, and take good sunset pictures.

I participated in a Makani Dinner Cruise. Unfortunately, it was cloudy on the day of the cruise, but I was impressed by the atmosphere and the view. The dinner featured a plate of Hawaiian local cuisine with chicken, beef, potatoes, spring rolls, and rice, and it was very delicious. The only downside was the one-drink policy. If the lighting had been better, I think it would have been the perfect dinner cruise. This time, I joined with my beloved boyfriend, and it became a memorable day for both of us. The cruise was amazing, and I love my boyfriend!!

Since the participants are dressed quite casually, I recommend wearing pants. After arriving at the bay, you will exchange your boarding pass and drink voucher, and board the catamaran! There is no Japanese support, and all explanations are in English, but I was able to find out the location of the life jackets and the restroom on the boat. Drinks start as soon as we set sail! There are two sizes available, but the smaller one is sufficient.

After departure, it was quite rocky until we got out to sea, but that’s part of the experience! The catamaran has nets over the bow where you can sit, but we were too scared to try it. The dinner was more on the Asian side and tasted great. I was pleasantly surprised by the large cookie they handed out later.

However, there wasn't anyone on the crew who spoke Japanese, so I wished there had been at least one. But you can definitely enjoy the scenery!

参加者の皆さんはかなりラフな服装ですので、パンツスタイルがお勧めです。湾に到着後、乗船券とドリンク券を引き替え、カタラマンに乗船！日本語の対応はなく全て英語の説明ですが、船にある救命胴衣の位置やトイレの場所はわかりました。ドリンクは出港するとすぐに開始！サイズは２種類ありますが、小さい方で充分。
出港後、沖に出るまではかなり揺れましたが、それも醍醐味！カタラマンの双頭にはネットがかけてあり、そこに座ることができますが、私たちは怖くていけませんでした。ディナーは、どちらかというとアジアン寄りで味はおいしかったです。後で配ってくれた大きなクッキーは予想してなかったので、うれしかったです。
ただ、クルーに日本語をはなせる方がいかなったので、ひとりは欲しかったな～

I've been to Hawaii several times, but this was my first time seeing a show. We opted for the VIP dinner & cocktail & show package, which is a bit on the pricier side, but the dinner included at the table on the first floor makes it worth the price. The food, including lobster, salmon, and steak, was seasoned to suit Japanese tastes.

The show featured tributes to Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson, and Katy Perry, along with a hula show. While the impersonation show of the classic stars was fantastic, it might not be enough for younger audiences. I was captivated by the fire dance in the hula show.

After the show, there's a service in the lobby where you can take photos, making it a great tour for creating wonderful memories.

The meal was delicious, but there was a delay in service as our dishes arrived only when the table next to us was finishing their meal. The show was entertaining and enjoyable. I wish Presley could have come to the seats in the back as well, not just the front row.

My wife and I enjoyed a very nice sunset dinner cruise the other night in the Makani catamaran. The night started off with a friendly driver picking us up at our hotel and bringing us to the boat. The only criticism of the whole night (very minor) is that we arrived at the boat around 4:40 but we're not able to "Check in" until 5 even though the girl was sitting in the booth waiting until 5. So rather than checking in as people arrived we now had an awkward line waiting to check in. Then we waited another 15-20 minutes to board the boat. Like I said, minor but the timing could have been better. Once aboard, the crew was great and got us quickly out of the harbor to enjoy the amazing views of the city and mountains. The food was as expected, a decent buffet. The drinks were good and reasonably priced.
What you are paying for is the views and that sunset! That was worth every penny on our trip. The catamaran boat let you enjoy the experience a lot more as you are free to move around and sit on the front netting.

We've been to Waikiki many times and have done a few catamaran tours. This tour was by far the best! Very personalized, highly recommend the drink shaker and VIP boarding. Captain Rich and his crew Michelle are amazing, Will definitely do this tour again. Highly recommend this tour.

The sunset from off Diamond Head was absolutely beautiful. On the dinner cruise, I was fortunate enough to win a commemorative lobster, but the view of the Hawaiian sunset while cruising was simply elegant.

Since the premium seats were fully booked, I reserved standard seats. I arrived at the hotel just after 4:30 and lined up. Our seats were at the end of the second row from the front. Japanese is hardly understood, but it’s an enjoyable tour. If the timing is off when getting on and off the boat, you can get quite wet. Please board quickly while watching the wake. As mentioned by everyone, there is quite a wait. Even if the meeting time is 5 PM, the departure is around 5:45 to 6 PM. Bring minimal luggage. Towels are unnecessary. A waterproof camera is recommended. During this Obon season, a windbreaker is not needed. The voucher stating "comfortable shoes" is incorrect; wearing beach sandals is best. If you go on a Friday, you might enjoy the fireworks after sunset. You can view Waikiki from the sea, which is very nice. You can also see the layers of Diamond Head. If it's during the day, I recommend the snorkeling option.

After experiencing this absolute fun activity last year with my wife and three friends we decided to give it another go this year.

5 of us made the bookings on line and met up with our guide Thomas and 5 other peddlers.

Thomas made us feel very welcome and excited to do this again, he explained the rules and the stops for this trip. Was a bit disappointed no Duck Fart or Brewsum but what the heck.

Turns out the new venues were just great with great beers, food and staff.

This uniquel experience should be done by anyone visiting Waikiki and you don't have to be fit - others can pedal lol. Expect a fun time.
