I chose this sailing experience for my father, who loves yachts, to enjoy. The speed was faster than I expected, and since we were catching the wind, I didn't feel seasick. However, the prime spot at the front of the boat, where you can see the ocean, was occupied by another Japanese family, so my child was disappointed that they couldn't get closer. Additionally, I found the strong push for tips, separate from the tour fee, a bit disappointing.

ヨットが好きな父に楽しんでもらうため、このセーリングを選びました。
思ったより早い速度で進み、風を受けていたため、船酔いも大丈夫でした。
ただ先頭の海面を見渡せる特等席はもう一組の日本人家族が占拠してしまっていたため、うちの子どもは近づけず残念そうでした。
またツアー代金とは別にチップの要求アピールが強かったため、少し残念でした。

We did not really know what to expect when we booked this adventure. We had a group of 20 go with us and it was a lot of fun. The crew did a great job with serving us and as soon as we got on offered us a drink. It was nice to know they were checking ID's of the individuals that were close to 21 years old. We left Waikiki and headed out to diamond head and they continually offered each person a drink as soon as they ran out. It was a lot of fun sitting in the sun and hanging out with friends and we got a lot of pictures. the net sitting in the front of the boat was so much fun and if you have never done this you MUST sit in the nets for a couple splashes. We took video and frame by frame experience that we have posted on Facebook and we have so many people that love that picture and wanted to find out more details about where we did this as well as the cost.

My only suggestion it would be nice if the company had ideas were we could continue the party after we get off the boat (i.e., happy hour at Duke's from 3-6pm, etc)

The crew was warm and welcoming! It was a fun experience and the drinks were amazing. It’s a good way to spend a couple hours with family and friends while looking at the beautiful island. I will definetly do this cruise again!
I would say be prepared to get wet! I didn’t realize how much the waves can splash and would definetly wear a swimsuit next time instead of regular clothes.

I use this every time I come to Hawaii.
Seeing Honolulu from the sea is refreshing.
It felt amazing to experience the ocean breeze all over my body.
I got a bit wet, but that felt good too.
My elderly mother was with me, and she enjoyed it without any issues.

海から見るホノルルも新鮮ですよ。
海風を身体全体で感じる事が出来て最高に気持ち良かったです。
多少濡れますがそれも気持ち良いです。
高齢の母も一緒でしたが問題なく楽しんでいました。

The afternoon boat trip was so much fun. The staff were friendly and helpful and nothing was to much trouble. We watched the sun set and the drinks were flowing for the whole trip. We met some really nice people and the trip was a great part of our holiday

We got tickets for the sunset tour and it was the most beautiful experience! The crew was very friendly and welcoming from the time we boarded till we got back to shore, I would highly recommend this tour!!

What a terrific experience! The crew were excellent; fun, and relaxed, they allowed us to sit in the net of the boat (some don't!). The music was great, too. We would definitely go sailing on Na Hoku 2 again!

If you’re looking to meet new people, this is a great opportunity to do that. My fiancé and I had a blast on the Na Hoku 2 and I would highly recommend it to all looking for a good time. We even went for a dip in the water with our group and I can’t tell you how much fun it was. Also, they’re a good looking bunch who want to make sure you have a good time :D we even ended up going out with our crew afterwards and has a blast. Highly highly highly recommend for those down to drink and meet new people!

This was a last minute decision for my mom and I after previous plans were cancelled. I am so excited that we choose the Manu Kai Catamaran Waikiki Boat Tour. It was amazing!!! Even though we were running behind schedule, we called and let them know, and they waited for us. The service crew was top notch. We only drank water, but they kept checking to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. The water was rough which actually added to the experience. We were able to sit down front and enjoy the waves without having to get in the water. I can't wait to take my husband back on this trip because my mom and I had such a great time. You can't lose by choosing the Manu Kai team!!!

It seemed that 90% of the passengers were American. I think it would be better to display the drink menu as well. I was worried about seasickness, but I didn't experience any at all, and it was great to go quite far offshore and see a different side of Hawaii.

乗船者の9割がアメリカ人と思われた。ドリンクもメニューを掲示するとかした方が良いと思う。心配していた船酔いは全くなく、結構沖合いまで行けて違った面のハワイを見れて良かった。

The whole experience was fun! Captain Aaron, Jerry & JJ took us out on the water and we had a wonderful time on the cruise. We were never empty handed, the music was good & the vibes were amazing. I totally recommend this cruise.

My parents in their 60s wanted to join for the first time! There were two other groups of Japanese people as well. Once we headed out to sea, we raised the sail and picked up speed, and we got splashed by the waves a few times (when standing at the edge of the boat), but that was fun. Even if you can't speak English, you can manage just fine! The staff came over several times to check if we were enjoying ourselves and if everything was okay. My parents were the happiest, so we would like to participate again.

60代の両親が乗りたい！と初めて参加しました。ほかに二組日本人がいました。
沖に出ると帆をあげてグングンスピードをあげ波が何度かかかりました(ボートのへりに立っていると)がそれが楽しかったです。
英語が話せなくてもノリで乗り切れます！
スタッフの人も何度も楽しんでるか大丈夫か声をかけにきてくれました。
両親が一番喜んでいたのでまた参加したいと思います。

My overall experience was honestly amazing I enjoyed myself very nice people on the boat and it was just friendly

I wanted to go on a sunset cruise, but it was fully booked, so I gave up on that. However, choosing this option was definitely the right decision!

I've walked on Waikiki Beach before, but seeing the beach and Diamond Head from the ocean was spectacular.

It was faster than I expected and thrilling. The only downside was a group of students from Canada who were making a lot of noise, getting injured, and even throwing up. However, I think it was an experience that makes me want to participate again.

サンセットクルーズに乗りたかったのですが、予約がいっぱいで断念しましたが、こちらにして大正解でした！
ワイキキビーチで散歩したことはあっても、海から見るビーチやダイヤモンドヘッドは壮観でした。

思ったよりスピードがあって、スリリングでした。
カナダからの学生の団体がいて、大騒ぎして怪我をしていたり、吐いたりしてて騒がしかったのが唯一の難点でした。
しかし、また参加したいと思える内容だったと思います。

If you want to get out of Waikiki for a quick outing then this Tradewind Sail with Mana Kai Catamaran is perfect! Departing from the middle of Waikiki, it's a beach boarding and all you need is a pair of sunglasses and water. The captain and crew took us towards out the blue ocean and there you are just sitting looking at the iconic Diamond Head.
It's was great to just relax and bake under the sun for one hour!

On our last day of vacation, we took the morning cruise. It was amazing! Woody and Zach are great! It was so relaxing ... And those views! Just gorgeous! We had the added bonus of seeing sea turtles and dolphins ... And Woody drew closer and cut the engine so we could watch them for a while. If we had found this cruise sooner we would definitely have taken it more than once.

- Meeting point: When you enter the Outrigger Hotel and go straight from the entrance, it's easy to reach the beachside meeting location. I got a bit lost trying to find the meeting point from the beach.

- There are no staff members at the reception or among the catamaran crew who understand Japanese. However, I don't think it will be particularly problematic. The surrounding staff were quite friendly.

- Boarding takes place a short walk from the meeting point. You will get wet from the knees down as you board by climbing the stairs from the water's edge. A wave came while I was climbing the stairs, and I ended up getting wet from the waist down. Well, it dries by the time you disembark. You take off your beach sandals and go barefoot from the moment you board. It's also barefoot on the boat.

- As for participants, there was only one other group of Japanese people besides us. They provide a Japanese guidebook with safety points on board. Soft drinks and alcoholic beverages are available for purchase inside. There is also a restroom on board.

- The wind was strong (maybe just that day?), and hats and sunglasses can get blown away. Please be careful. About half of them were caught by the staff, so it was okay.

・現地集合　
アウトリガーホテルに入って、入口からまっすぐ進むとビーチ側、集合場所に辿り着きやすいです。
ビーチから、集合場所を探してしまったので、ちょっと迷いました。

・受付も、カタマラン乗組員も、日本語がわかるスタッフはいません。が、特に困ることはないと思います。あたりの柔らかいスタッフが揃ってました。

・乗船は、集合場所から少し歩いたところになります。波打ち際から、船の階段を上がって乗船するので膝から下は濡れます。私は階段を上がるときに波が来て、腰から下が濡れてしまいました。ま、下船の頃には乾きますが。
乗船の時から、ビーチサンダルは脱いで裸足になります。船上も裸足です。

・参加者ですが、日本人は私たち以外に一組だけでした。船上での注意点などは日本語の案内書を渡してくれます。ソフトドリンクや、アルコール飲料は中で販売してます。トイレも付いてます。

・風が強くて(たまたま？)、帽子やサングラス、飛ばされます。気を付けてください。半分くらいはスタッフがキャッチして、事なきを得てましたが。

Such a beautiful weather! The green color of the ocean and the blue skies doesn't lie! Thanks to the friendly crew of Mana Kai Catamaran for making this such a wonderful experience! The whole gang at my work decided to take this trip together and it was truly a great way for us to loosen up after a stressful week!

For only $31 per person, you'll enjoy a fun ride, sip on your favorite drink (BYOB), or snacks, listen to good music, and feeling the breezy tradewinds while watching the gorgeous scenic view of Waikiki! Ahhhh..mazing! I would go again for sure!

It was sunny and clear, perfect weather to go sailing! We had lunch before departing so we brought light appetizers & drinks on board. The only "table" was the top of the storage box. Luckily, we didn't bring anything too large with us so it wasn't too bad.

The ocean was beautiful even though the waves can get pretty rough. Highly recommend taking motion sickness medicine before going out. It made the experience so much more enjoyable without worrying about my stomach.

Captain Johnny & his crew were great! Very friendly and funny. It was like a bunch of friends hanging out on a sail. I didn't even care that I got splashed by the waves. You guys are the best, can't wait to go again!

This was a really fun sail. We ordered pizza and brought it on board with drinks, though since it was an afternoon sail we had most of our lunch before departing. Bench seating with no tables, so we had to improvise. Finger foods that are easy to eat and not very messy are ideal to bring on, as are cans and bottles for drinks.

It's really cool and windy out on the water, so it can get rough if the boat goes near Diamond Head where the water isn't protected from the waves. That said, if you're willing to get wet it's a lot of fun sitting on the netting and getting splashed!

I participated with my 8-year-old son, and the sailing trip to the distant ocean was wonderful. The view of Waikiki and Diamond Head from out at sea was great! Occasionally, we got splashed by big waves and felt the wind, which got my son really excited!

８歳の息子と二人で参加しましたが、遠い沖までのセーリングで、離れた海の上からのワイキキ、ダイヤモンドヘッドの眺めが良かったです！
時折、大きな波を被ったり、風を感じて、息子も大興奮でした！

I signed up for this tour thinking it would be an easy activity for my first time in Hawaii. I initially thought we would just be sitting on the boat, but after a while, once the captain introduced himself and the crew, we were able to go out on deck and enjoy the view of the ocean.

The narration was in English, and there were newlyweds, families, and solo travelers, but everyone was very friendly and cheerful.

We were able to see dolphins and sea turtles, and my whole family was extremely satisfied, wanting to repeat the experience the next day. I would like to use this service again on another occasion.

初ハワイで何か手軽なアクティビティーをと思い、このツアーに申し込みました。普通に船に座って乗っているだけかと思いきや、船が出てからしばらくして船長さん達の紹介を終えると甲板に出て海を眺めることが出来ました。

進行は英語で、海外の新婚さんや家族連れ、おひとり様の方もいましたが、とても和気藹々としていました。

イルカやウミガメにも会うことができ、家族みんな大満足で翌日またリピートしたいと思うほどでした。
またの機会にも利用したいとおもいます。

I knew the fireworks would only last for five minutes, but on that day, it was a full moon night, so I was able to see the enchanting moonrise from Diamond Head as well, which was wonderful.

花火は5分間だけと知っていたのですが、当日はちょうど満月の夜でしたので、ダイヤモンドヘッドからの幻想的な月の出も見ることが出来て、とても良かったです。

I quickly found the reception area since I had researched it in advance. I arrived at the meeting time of 2:30 PM and was told to return by 3:00 PM, so I waited right in front. However, even at 3:00 PM, it seemed like the reserved guests hadn't arrived, and they were discussing something while looking at the list, which delayed our boarding. In the end, it was just our group and a family of three that set sail. It was nice to have the boat to ourselves and enjoy the view of Waikiki Beach from the ocean, but when we went further out towards Diamond Head, it was a bit scary. If we could have seen dolphins or something, it might have been more enjoyable, but I started to feel a bit bored. Since I can't speak English, the staff kindly checked on me in Japanese to see if I was okay.

受付場所は事前に調べていたのですぐにわかりました。集合時間14：30に到着し50分に戻って来てと言われたのですぐ前で待っていましたが、15：00になっても予約客が来ないのか名簿を見ながら何やら話してなかなか乗船出来ませんでした、結局私達と3人家族だけで出航しました。貸切状態でゆったりできワイキキビーチを沖から見ているでは良かったけれど、延々沖（ダイヤモンドヘッドの方）へ出た時ちょっと怖かったかな。イルカとか何か見れたらもう少し楽しめたかもですがちょっと退屈してきました。英語が話せないのでスタッフは大丈夫？と日本語で気遣ってくれました。

We had a great time seeing Waikiki from the water and the crew was great, they were very fun with the guests and made every effort to anticipate our needs.

Great just don’t bother paying the extra for all you can drink it can be a little bumpy out there

It’s beautiful just don’t opt for the all you can drink it’s to short of a journey to try and catch a buzz while admiring the views!

It was an amazing trip with beautiful views. The crew was friendly and funny. I would recommend this trip!!!
