Best part of our Hawaii trip, although a bit pricey was worth the memories, would definitely go again!

The wave conditions weren't very good, so I couldn't swim with the dolphins, but I was able to see many dolphins up close, and it was great to swim with wild sea turtles. I felt the power of nature, which doesn't cater to human convenience, and I think it was a very valuable experience. The captain and all the staff were very kind, which was also a plus. However, when the waves are really rough, it's wise to take enough measures against seasickness. (laughs)

波の状態があまり良くなくてイルカと一緒には泳げなかったけど沢山のイルカを間近で見ることができたし、野生の海ガメと一緒に泳げて良かった。人間の都合には合わせてくれない大自然を感じる事ができたし非常に貴重な体験ができたと思う。キャプテンをはじめ、スタッフの皆さんがとても良くしてくださって、そういう所も良かった。
ただ、波の状態が凄い時は船酔い対策を十分にした方が賢明です。(笑)

In February, known as the rainy season, I participated in my first whale watching cruise. After doing some research, I found that larger boats tend to sway less, which is reassuring for those prone to seasickness, so I signed up for this one. Since I am prone to motion sickness, I made sure to have a hearty breakfast before boarding, opting for a simple plan without breakfast.

On the day of the cruise, there was an unexpected heavy rain that surprised even the locals, but since there was no cancellation notice, we headed to the meeting point. However, after being taken to the port by bus, the tour guide strangely walked at the back of the line, leaving those of us at the front unsure of where to go in the rain. Once on board, no one provided any guidance (or any explanation at all), which led to people mistakenly going to the wrong deck or stopping confused near the entrance. Even after entering the ship, breakfast began without any proper explanation, so those on the no-breakfast plan were probably eating on their own.

I felt a bit nauseous from the smell of food around me, so I went out to the deck to look at the sea as soon as we set sail. Just listening to the announcements from the naturalist was enjoyable. The sea was quite rough with whitecaps, and even when the captain and naturalist announced they spotted a whale, it was honestly difficult for amateurs like us to see. If the weather had been clear and the sea calm, it might have been easier to spot them. It was disappointing, but since the weather and whale appearances are left to chance, I’ve come to accept it. Now I have a reason to try again someday.

However, I can't help but feel that if the care before and after boarding had been a bit more thorough, my overall satisfaction would have been much higher, leaving me with a sense of regret.

雨季と言われる2月、初めてのホエールウォッチングクルーズに参加しました。
色々と調べた結果、酔いやすい人は大きな船の方が揺れが少なくて安心、と見たのでこちらに申し込みました。酔いやすいので朝ごはんもしっかり食べてから乗船しましたので、朝食も無しのシンプルプランで。

当日は現地の方も驚く豪雨でしたが、欠航の連絡もないのでひとまず集合場所へ。
しかしバスで港まで連れて行かれた後、添乗員の方は何故か列の最後方を歩いており、先頭あたりにいた私たちは、雨の中どこへ向かえばいいのかも分からず…
乗船後も誰も案内（というか一切の説明）をしてくれないので、間違ったデッキに上がってしまったり、訳が分からず入り口付近で立ち止まってしまう人ばかり。
船内に入った後も、特にちゃんとした説明もないまま朝食が始まったので、おそらく朝食無しプランの方も勝手に食べていたのではないでしょうか。

私は周囲の食事の臭いで酔いそうだったので、出港早々デッキに出て海を眺めていましたが、Naturalistのお姉さんのアナウンスを聞いているだけでも楽しかったです。
さすがに海は荒れて白波が立っており、CaptainやNaturalistの方がクジラを見つけたとアナウンスしてくれても、正直素人には発見は難しかったです。晴れて海面が穏やかなら、もう少し探しやすかったのでしょうか。
残念でしたが、お天気とクジラの出現は運任せですので、仕方なかったかなと諦めています。いつか再挑戦する名目ができました。

ただ乗船前後のケアがもう少ししっかりしていたら、全体的な満足度はもっと高かったんじゃないかと思うと、こちらは悔しい思いが残りました。

I participated in a whale watching plan that included breakfast and hotel transfers! To be honest, the breakfast was not great, but it was nice to have the opportunity to eat breakfast on the sea, so I’m glad I included it. The inside of the boat was air-conditioned and a bit chilly, so it's better to bring a jacket. As for the whale watching, I saw a few whale spouts, but I didn’t actually see any whales. Since it’s nature, there’s nothing that can be done about that. However, I was satisfied with the cruise as I could leisurely enjoy the views of Waikiki and Diamond Head from the boat!

朝食付きのホエールウォッチング、ホテルからの送迎付きのプランに参加しました！朝食は正直いまいちですが、海の上で朝食を食べる機会はそうそうないので朝食を付けて良かったです。船内は冷房が効いていて肌寒かったので、上着を持っていったほうが良いですね。肝心のホエールウォッチングですが、数回クジラの潮吹きが見れましたが、クジラは見れませんでした。。自然のことなので、こればかりは仕方ないですよね。船の上からゆっくりとワイキキの街並みやダイアモンドヘッドが見れたのでクルーズとしては満足でした！

It was my first dolphin and snorkeling tour. Honestly, I was worried about whether I would really see them, even though I had seen pictures before departure. During the bus ride to the boat, the fun staff provided a great briefing, and once on board, the captain and crew made sure there were plenty of enjoyable events unique to Hawaii!

As for the dolphins... we received a notification about a dolphin sighting as soon as we boarded, and the snorkeling began! I was thrilled to be so close to the dolphins.

However, the wetsuit was too tight, which made me feel seasick... If you think the wetsuit might be tight, be sure to request a larger size right away. (laughs)

We also got to see whales and turtles, making it the best tour ever. I want to participate again!

初めてのイルカとシュノーケリングツアーでした。
出発前は正直写真では見ているものの本当に見れるのか心配で出発しました。
乗船前の移動中のバスの中から楽しいスタッフの方のレクチャーがあり、いざ船に乗ってからも楽しい船長含めクルーの方々とハワイならではの楽しいイベントが盛りだくさん！
本題のイルカは。。。乗るとすぐにイルカ発見の連絡があり、いざシュノーケリングスタート！間近にいるイルカに大興奮でした。

ただ、、、ウェットスーツがきつすぎて船酔いに。。。
ウェットスーツはきついかもと思ったらすぐに大きいのに変更要望を出しましょう。笑

クジラにカメも見ることができ最高のツアーでした。
また参加したいです！

The tour itself lived up to its reputation, with plenty of wild dolphins, turtles, and in winter, whales, making for a very satisfying experience. However, the problem was seasickness. Of course, it likely varies depending on conditions, but I honestly let my guard down since there weren't many reviews about seasickness. When I participated in February, we spent quite a bit of time on the boat searching for dolphins in some rough waves. It also took a long time for the second dive, and we had to wait in the swaying boat... In the end, it seemed we shifted from dolphin watching to whale watching that day, and the staff even said it was their first time seeing such whales, but it was all from the boat. I didn't even have the energy to get up.

That day, quite a few people were dealing with seasickness... ^ ^ Even the foreign passengers were getting seasick (I've never seen foreign tourists get seasick on diving trips), so it must have been pretty bad... The worst off were those who lay down the entire time without ever getting in the water...

As for the experience of swimming with dolphins, it was the best!

ツアー自体は評判通り、野生のイルカやカメ、冬場はクジラなど大満足の内容です。
が……問題は船酔い。
もちろんコンディションによって違うのでしょうが、あまり船酔いについての口コミがなかったので、正直油断していました。
わたしが参加した時は、2月、中々の波の中をイルカを探して結構な時間船で過ごしました。
2本目のダイブにも時間がかかり、そこでも揺れる船内での待機…
結局その日はイルカよりクジラウォッチにシフトしたようで、スタッフの方も初めて！とおっしゃるくらいのクジラが見れたんですが、それも全て船の上…。
起き上がる気力もありませんでした。

その日は結構な人数がバケツのお世話に…^ ^
同乗の外国人も船酔いしてたので(ダイビングなどでも外国人の船酔いって見たことない)よっぽどなのかなと…
ヒドイ人は一度も海に入ることなく最初から最後まで横になってました。。。


イルカと泳げるツアー内容については最高の体験です！

I used this service with my mother. We opted for the premium course that included lunch, but unfortunately, the food was not very good for the price we paid, which was disappointing.

Additionally, while it was said that we could experience various activities, I couldn't understand the explanations about the whales since I don't speak English. The only information provided was a paper outlining the day's schedule, which wasn't very detailed.

There were no signals for when things were supposed to start, so I felt like I had to keep checking the time and act on my own. Many people also experienced seasickness, and overall, it was an activity that I wouldn't want to do again.

母親と利用させて頂きました。
ランチ付きのプレミアムコースにしましたが、まずは、食事が値段の割にはあまり良いものがなく、残念でした。
また、色々な体験が出来るとの事でしたが、英語が分からないのでクジラの説明も分からず、説明の紙も１日の流れが書いてあるのみで、あまり詳しく書いてありませんでした。
全て、始まる合図等ないので、時計を見て自身で行動する感じです。
船酔いの人もとても多く、もう一度利用したいとは思わなかったアクティビティでした。

Due to the timing or weather, we were able to see the whales, but only for a brief moment as they surfaced. I think it also depends on luck, so we were just enjoying the cruise experience in the meantime.

時期的か天候の為かクジラは見えましたが背中が一瞬見える程度でした。運もあると思いますので僕たちはクルーズ気分を味わうついでにって感じでした。

I had always wanted to swim with dolphins, so I signed up somewhat on a whim, but it turned out to be much more fulfilling than I had imagined. There were Japanese staff members, so I was able to enjoy the experience without any inconvenience. I was worried about seasickness, but I was fine; however, a few people seemed to be feeling unwell. The staff were very attentive and offered advice like, "It's good to drink around this time on the bus," so for those who are concerned, I think it's better to take something. However, since the boat will sway, I believe seasickness is a personal responsibility. Also, since it was February, it was a bit chilly, and I rented a wetsuit separately, which was a good decision. By the afternoon, it warmed up with the sunlight, so it wasn't an issue. I was surprised to see the dolphins at a closer distance than I expected. I was really happy because I didn't think I would get to see them so up close. Moreover, I got to jump in several times, not just once. At the end, we were able to go snorkeling near the port. It seemed to be quite warm that day, and even though we went a little over time, we were able to see a lot. Above all, all the staff were kind, and their dedication was evident. I definitely want to participate again when I come back to Hawaii. Thank you for the wonderful memories!

いつかイルカと泳いでみたいなと思っていたので、何となく申し込んだのですが、想像していたよりも内容が濃く、とても充実していました。日本人スタッフさんがいるので、不自由なく過ごせました。心配していた船酔いですが、私は大丈夫でしたが、数名酔っているみたいでした。スタッフさんはかなり気にかけてくれていました。行きのバスの中でも今くらいから飲むと良いですよ、と一声かけてもらえるので、心配な方は飲まれた方が良いかと思います。ただ、船が揺れるのは仕方ないので、船酔いに関しては個人責任かと思います。また2月なので少し肌寒く、スーツを別でレンタルしましたが、して良かったです。午後近くなると日差しで暖かくなってきたので、問題はありませんでした。イルカは思ったより至近距離でびっくりしました。こんなに間近で見られるとは思っていなかったので、とても嬉しかったです。しかも一度ではなく、何回か飛び込ませてもらいました。最後は港の近くでシュノーケリングも出来ました。この日はかなり暖かかったようで、少し時間オーバーしても色々と見させて貰えました。とにかくスタッフさんが全員親切で、一生懸命なのが伝わって
きました。またハワイに来たら是非参加したいと思いました。素敵な思い出をありがとうございました！

Unfortunately, I could only see a glimpse of the whale's tail spouting water from a distance, and that was it. Before disembarking, I received a ticket for free boarding on a later date as a form of recovery response. I believe the recovery ticket had a validity of about three months, but I didn't have the time to use it during my stay.

残念ながら、遠くで潮を吹いたクジラの尾びれが少しだけ見えましたが、それだけでした。
下船前の船内で、翌日以降に無料で乗船できるチケットをもらい、一応のリカバリー対応はありました。
リカバリーチケットは3カ月程度の有効期限が有ったと思いますが、滞在中に時間が取れず利用はしませんでした。

This time, since my 9-year-old nephew was with us, I really wanted to show him, but we couldn't see any whales, as they are wild animals. It's disappointing. >＜

今回は９歳の甥っ子も一緒に行っていたため、ぜひ見せてあげたいと思っていたのですがやはりクジラも自然の動物会えませんでした。残念＞＜

We boarded the cruise with the mindset that it would be lucky if we encountered anything, especially with our 6 and 3-year-old children. Once on board, we started with lunch. The lunch included pork curry (the potatoes were huge!) along with a salad and a bit of meat dish. There were cut fruits, which the kids happily enjoyed. After about 40 minutes on the cruise, there was an announcement to head to the deck to see the spouting! There were Japanese staff members, and all the announcements and explanations were provided in Japanese. We spent time on the deck enjoying the sea breeze and looking for whales ourselves. We saw spouts about ten times, and during two or three of those, parts of the whale's body were visible on the surface. The kids, who had caught on to the technique, were thrilled to spot them with their own eyes. We were also delighted to see a turtle swimming and a pod of dolphins just before returning to the port. It was a very satisfying experience!

6才3才の子供連れで、出会えたらラッキーだよね、くらいの気持ちで乗船。乗船したらまずはランチ。ランチはポークカレー（じゃがいもデカ！）と他、サラダとお肉料理が少々。カットフルーツがあり、子供たちは喜んで食べていました。乗船して40分くらいでしょうか。潮吹きが見られるからデッキへ！とアナウンス。日本人スタッフもいて、全ての案内、解説は日本語で聞けました。潮風とクルーズ、そして自分でホエールを発見するために、デッキで過ごしました。潮吹きは10回くらい、そのうち2、3回はホエールの体の一部も海面に見え、コツをつかんだ子供も自分の目で発見し、喜んでいました。ホヌが泳いでいたり、帰港直前にドルフィンが群れで泳いでいたりと、大満足でした！

It was my first time going whale watching. I joined with the mindset that it would be lucky if I got to see any, but I was able to see them multiple times. I learned that whales surface for air about once every 15 minutes, so once we spotted one, we could see it several times. It was a bit far away, but it was incredibly impressive. I'm glad I participated.

生まれて初めてのホエールウォッチング。見れたらラッキー程度の気持ちで参加しましたが、何回も見ることができました。
クジラは息継ぎの為に15分に１度くらいで浮上してくるそうなので、一度見つけたら何回も見ることができました。
少し遠かったけど大迫力でした。

I was hoping to see maybe a blow or just a brief glimpse of a whale but we saw a whale show like I could never imagined. They called it the running of the bulls and it was whales breaching the water together jumping and showing off like they new we were there to see them. Breakfast was good a few more options for the price would have been appreciated, maybe bacon, potatoes, or some veggies and cheese to go with the scrambled eggs.

The day before was rainy, and there were strong winds on the day itself, so I understood to some extent, but I was unable to see any whales. The sea was rough, and even though it was a large ship, it was rolling and certainly not in a comfortable environment.

I understand that nature is unpredictable, so I can accept not seeing anything, but it left me feeling dissatisfied that there was no interaction at all on the ship or the return bus before we parted ways.

I at least wanted a word of acknowledgment.

前日雨、当日強風という日でしたのですある程度理解はしていましたが、クジラは見る事ができませんでした。
海はシケていたので、大型船ですがうねりながらと決して快適とも言えない環境でした。

見れなかったことに対しても自然が相手だからわかりますが、船でも、帰りのバスでも全く触れないまま解散と、なんだか不満だけが残りました。

せめて、ひと言欲しかったです。

I participated in a tour to see dolphins for the first time!! In the morning, they picked us up at the hotel, and the explanation began on the bus. The guide created a lively and fun atmosphere for all participants!! The dolphin school lesson was also very easy to understand.
At this time, we were asked about renting wetsuits. It was $10 per person, but since it was cold during this season, renting was definitely the right choice! By the way, everyone ended up renting one.
After getting on the boat, we spotted dolphins in about 20 minutes!! Even though it was my first time snorkeling with dolphins, I was truly moved to hear their voices! The blue sea and blue sky!! It was such a wonderful world. It seemed we found the dolphins early, and afterwards, we were taken to dolphin spots 2 or 3 more times, allowing us to swim with them. I'm glad I participated in the dolphin school. If I have the chance again, I will definitely join!

初めてイルカを見にいくツアーに参加しました！！朝はホテルまで迎えに来ていただき、バスの中で説明が始まります。ガイドさんは元気よく参加者全員が面白く楽しい雰囲気作りをして下さいます！！イルカ中学の授業もとてもわかりやすいです。
この時にウエットスーツのレンタルを聞かれます。お一人10ドルでしたがこの時期は寒いのでレンタルして正解でした！ちなみに全員の方がレンタルされました。
船に乗ってからは20分くらいでイルカを発見出来ました！！シュノーケリングでイルカと泳ぐのは初めてにも関わらずイルカの声が聞けて本当に感動しました！青い海に青い空！！本当に素敵な世界でした。早めにイルカを見つける事が出来たみたいでその後も2.3回イルカスポットに連れていって下さりイルカと泳ぐ事が出来ました。イルカ中学に参加して良かったです。また機会があったら絶対に参加させていただきます！

I didn't feel any seasickness on the large ship at all. The curry was delicious, and the staff were very pleasant. I saw whales about ten times. I gradually got used to it and was able to film some videos. If I could wish for more, I would have liked to see the whales closer and also meet dolphins and turtles.

大型船で船酔いはまったくなかったです。カレーも美味しかったし、スタッフも感じがよかったです。クジラは10回ぐらい見えました。だんだん慣れてきて動画も撮影できました。欲を言えばもっと近いところでクジラを見たかったし、イルカや亀にも会いたかったです。

I was picked up by a large bus in front of the hotel and headed to Aloha Tower. It was reassuring to have a Japanese-speaking staff member accompanying us, which made the experience enjoyable. Before boarding, there was a commemorative photo opportunity, and I purchased it for $30 (which included a photo and a commemorative cover with a mount, and they also sent the file to my email). There were other options available for just the photo or just the file.

Once on board, we started lunch (a buffet) in a spacious indoor area with a great view (it had a bit of a party venue atmosphere). The meal included curry, chicken, cold pasta, and four types of fruit. Alcohol was available for an additional charge, but coffee and tea were free. I would have appreciated a few more menu options, but the taste was good.

We waited for whales on the covered deck on the top floor. There was an announcement when a whale was spotted. After it spouted water, we were able to see its tail sinking into the sea multiple times. It was smaller and farther away than I expected, and it was just a fleeting moment, but it was still quite moving. I also enjoyed the views of Diamond Head and planes taking off from the airport from the boat. This became the best memory of my trip to Hawaii.

ホテル前で大型バスにピックアップされ、アロハタワーに向かう。日本語のスタッフ同行で安心して楽しめた。乗船前に記念撮影があり、記念に＄30（写真と記念の表紙付き台紙、メールアドレスにファイルも送ってもらえた。他にも写真のみやファイルのみの選択肢があった）で購入した。乗船した客より見晴らしの良い広い室内（ちょっとしたパーディー会場の雰囲気）で昼食（ブッフェ）がスタート。食事はカレー・チキン・冷製パスタ・フルーツ4種など。アルコールは別途有料だったが、コーヒー・紅茶はフリー。もう少しメニューが多いと嬉しいが、味は良かった。最上階の屋根付きデッキでクジラを待つ。クジラが発見されるとアナウンスあり。潮吹き後、尾が海へ沈む姿を何回も見ることができた。思っていたより遠くで小さくて一瞬だが、それなりに感動だった。船から眺めるダイヤモンドヘッドや空港から飛び立つ飛行機などの様子も見られて良かった。ハワイ旅行の一番の思い出となった。

We also saw a mother and baby whale's backs while being sent off by dolphins and in the harbor upon our return!
I was so happy to see so many!

My family went on this amazing trip expecting to see whales spray and slap their tails against the water. We did get that and so much more. We got to see at least two whales breaching numerous times and just playing, diving in and out of the water. It was so incredible. That early wake up was 100% worth it. The boat was very spacious and I really enjoyed the ride. The crew narrator was very informative and the whole crew, especially the captain were very professional. Highly recommend this outing.

I went whale watching with my one-year-old daughter, and the crew was very friendly, there was a show, and the food was delicious✨ Above all, we encountered whales right away, and my excitement was through the roof!! I also really enjoyed participating in the hula experience. I would love to try other tours as well!

一歳の娘を連れてのホエールウォッチングに行ったのですが、クルーの皆さんもとてもフレンドリーだし、ショーもあり、食事も美味しい✨何より、クジラにもすぐに出会えて、私のテンションは上がりっぱなしでした！！フラ体験もとても楽しく参加させていただきました。他のツアーにも参加してみたいです！

The staff was great - very nice and knowledgeable.

I wanted to experience interacting with dolphins, but I was a bit scared of diving into the ocean, so I searched for an optional tour and signed up for this one.

The experience of swimming while holding onto a dolphin's fin (being pulled along) is quite rare, and everyone in my group was really excited.

The instructor spoke mostly in English with a bit of broken Japanese, but they explained things slowly and clearly, making me feel that it was okay even if I wasn't confident in my English.

Although it's an additional cost, they take great photos for you.

After the dolphin experience, you can watch dolphin and sea lion shows or buy and eat hamburgers and hot dogs, but you might find yourself with a little extra time on your hands.

Overall, I was very satisfied.

イルカとふれ合う体験はしたいけど、海に潜るのはちょっと恐いと思いながらオプショナルツアーを探していて、このツアーに申し込みました。
イルカのヒレにつかまって泳ぐ(引っ張ってもらう)体験はなかなかできる体験ではなく、同じグループで参加した人たちも、みんな大はしゃぎでした。
インストラクターの人はカタコトの日本国の他は殆ど英語でしたが、ゆっくりわかりやすく話してくれて、英語に自信がなくても問題ないと感じました。
有料ですが、写真も上手に撮ってくれます。
イルカ体験の後は、イルカやアシカのショーを見たりハンバーガーやホットドッグを買って食べたりして過ごせますが、少し時間をもて余すかもしれません。
全体としては充分満足でした。

We loved everything. I am the biggest water and animal lover. The submarine was a great experience for us. Even though the reefs are all gone and they had boats, plans, and different materials placed as artificial reefs it just shows you how important our reefs are for sea life. It is a great learning experience to see the difference. How life is under water now after the way man has destroyed it and the ones who care enough to try to recover a small percent of what it would be if it had been left alone before people destroyed an environment for there own selfish reasons. Before booking I did read reviews of others who experienced the submarine tour before I decided to reserve our tour. Even though a lot of people stated they expected more and only gave it 1 and 2 stars I still decided to take the tour. I read Atlantis used partial of the proceeds to rebuild the reefs. If more people got together and helped rebuild what we all have destroyed then maybe there will be more fish and more variety everytime we come back. People should respect the homes of others, where animals live, and give to it instead of always taking. It was a great experience, it taught us to respect the beautiful nature in our world, to help rebuild, and stop destroying before there is nothing left to experience.

We were lucky it was just the 3 of us. Like our own private boat. We saw whales even saw them breach. Loved it. We live here and plan on going again before the whales leave.

The weather was nice, but the sea had waves, and many people got seasick. It was great to see dolphins right away, but I was really disappointed that I only got to interact with them once... There were a lot of people, so it took some time, but I would have liked to swim with the dolphins at least one more time.

天気はよかったけど、海は波もあり船酔いする人続出でした。イルカもすぐに会えてよかったのですが、1回しかアタックしてもらえなかったのが、とても残念でした…人数も多かったので、時間がかかるのですが、もう1回位イルカと泳ぎたかったです。

The sea was quite rough, but I was able to encounter dolphins and swim with them right away. I also got to see sea turtles, and I was very satisfied.

海は結構荒れてましたが、すぐにイルカと遭遇でき一緒に泳ぐことができました。ウミガメも見ることができて、大満足です。
