The atmosphere was really lovely during the dinner surrounded by strangers! A stylish drink was included, and we could choose whether it had alcohol or not. However, there weren't many dishes that I found delicious, perhaps because they didn't suit Japanese tastes. The meat was incredibly tasty, so I ended up eating a lot of that. The show was impressive, and there were familiar songs, which made it very enjoyable. Both the food and the show really captured the Hawaiian vibe, so I recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy the atmosphere of Hawaii.

1. It was nearly full and quite cramped, which is understandable.
2. The food was served on one plate. While I was struggling with the crab, the meat got cold, which diminished its deliciousness.
3. The stage had a lot going on with singing, hula, and powerful male dancing. However, since the talk was only in English, I couldn't understand it, which significantly reduced the enjoyment. At the end, they brought out a couple celebrating their wedding anniversary that month, and everyone celebrated. I regretted that we couldn't participate because we didn't understand the call.
4. The fireworks were visible, but I was left wondering if that was all there was to it...

On Friday, during the Hilton's fireworks night, I participated in the lobster and steak menu.

First, we each went to the table where the appetizers were set up to grab various crackers, cheeses, and fruits. The blue cheese was delicious. Bread and salad were already on the table from the start. A large lobster was served, followed by tender steak. The lobster came with a sauce that tasted like butter and ponzu, and the steak was also tasty.

During the meal, we were served champagne and two large cocktails, the last of which had sherbet in it and was delicious, along with cake and coffee or tea. I was so full it was uncomfortable.

In the meantime, there were two singers, a saxophonist, and several Hawaiian dances, and after watching the fireworks, everyone danced in a circle. They really knew how to get the crowd excited. However, there were too many people, and it seemed cramped for the performers. It might be better to limit the number of guests a bit.

全体的にみるとお料理は美味しかったし、ショーの人たちは楽しかったし日本円にしたら高かったけど参加してよかった。
あと花火の時みんなが席を立って通路に行ってしまうので、座っていると見えないのでみんな席を立つしかなかった。立ち見を禁止すればいいのにと思った。

I chose a plan without meals, but those who had meals seemed to be enjoying themselves with activities like hula lessons. You can order drinks just before taking your seat, but payment is only accepted by card, and Amex cannot be used, so be careful. The show itself mainly features slightly older songs by artists like Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson, but even if you don't know the songs, I felt it was professional entertainment that could still get the crowd excited. Local singers also participate, performing cover songs as well as their own hits. They even perform songs from Disney's Moana. Perhaps because it was a weekday, only the VIP seats were filled, while the other areas were sparse. I think a bit more creativity is needed to make me want to see it two or three times.

I participated in this activity because I wanted to see authentic hula.

First, it was buffet time. The welcome drink, Mai Tai, was fresh and a refreshing drink with a hint of alcohol. It was easy to drink and delicious.

The buffet was average, nothing special. During the meal, hula dancers came to our table and performed beautiful dances multiple times. It was moving!

I'll keep this short and to the point. It really wasn't what most would consider a Luau. You're in a tiki-like environment in a mall for the meal and then you go to an inside theater for the show. The show is more of a Vegas-like show primarily consisting of an Elvis and Michael Jackson impersonator. The show was honestly pretty good, but just wasn't what was expected at a Luau.

On a good note, the food was decent and the performers were pretty good. If you just want a reasonably priced meal and a show then this is for you. If you're looking for a more traditional Hawaiian Luau then look somewhere else.

After completing the check-in, I was seated at 5:30 PM, and the buffet started at 6:30 PM, so as mentioned in other reviews, the wait felt long. During the waiting time, you can experience traditional Hawaiian dance and music. Once the buffet begins, guests are guided to the food in order by table. There was a lot of food available, so I was able to enjoy my meal leisurely for about an hour. Since the buffet is not located in just one spot, I recommend looking around to gather your food. (It was a bit hard to find the roast beef station.)

Regarding the show, the stage was larger and more visible than I expected. There were rock stars from different generations, and as expected in a place known for entertainment, the audience was engaged and never bored. It was great to see the fire dance as well. At the end, you can take photos with the performers when exiting. I would like to go again if I visit Hawaii.

受付を済まして17時半に着席をしてから、ビュッフェ開始は18時半でしたので
他の方の口コミにもある通り待ち時間は長く感じました。
待ち時間の間はハワイの伝統的なダンスや音楽を体験することができます。
ビッフェが開始されると席ごとに順番に案内されます。
料理はたくさん用意されているので、約1時間弱ゆっくり食事を楽しむことができました。
ビュッフェの食事は1箇所ではないので、周辺を見渡して食事を取ることをおすすめします。
(目当てのローストビーフの場所が分かりづらかった)

ショーに関しては思った以上にステージが大きく見やすかったです。
世代が違うロックスターも登場しましたが、さすがエンターテイメントの本場ということもあり客席は退屈することなく盛り上がっていました。
ファイヤーダンスも見ることができて良かったです。
最後、退場の際は出演者と写真を撮ることもできます。
またハワイに来たら行きたいと思いました。

The whole experience at the center was amazing, but the food at the Gateway Buffet was absolutely faaaaaaaaantastic! What a great way to spend the day in Hawaii, and see so many different aspects of the many Polynesian cultures that are featured at the center. Also, the evening show is a definite must-see for anyone who comes to Oahu!

The sunset on the cruise ship coincided with the buffet line, so I couldn't fully enjoy it. Since you can't choose your order, depending on the timing, you might not have high expectations. The food was quite rich in flavor, which might be a bit much for the senior crowd. The live show was lively, with dancers giving it their all, and it ended with a DJ creating a club-like atmosphere. The dancers seemed to be running around on different floors of the ship. Additionally, I had requested a shuttle bus as an option, but the ending times for each floor were staggered, likely due to concerns about disembarkation congestion, so we had to wait a bit for the bus to depart.

I participated in the Sunset Dinner Cruise on the Pacific Star (all-you-can-eat buffet). Right after departure, the wind was strong and the boat swayed a bit, but by the time the show started, the swaying had settled down. The sunset spreading between the clouds was amazing. This time I chose the Pacific Star course, and the roast beef was delicious. (^o^)//

I chose a course without seat reservations, but since I had an 11-month-old child, they guided us to a corner sofa seat, which allowed us to sit side by side facing outward and enjoy a great view. During sunset, we were taken to the upper floor, where we could see a beautiful sunset. The lobster and steak were, of course, very delicious, and the two complimentary drinks were generous in size, so we were more than satisfied. During the meal, we enjoyed lovely Hawaiian music, and after the ship docked, we watched hula and haka dances, which was very exciting. I was happy that many people interacted with my small child. It was the best memory!

座席指定なしのコースにしましたが、11ヶ月の子どもがいたため、端のソファー席に案内していただけて外向きの席に横並びで逆にとても景色も良く過ごすことができました。サンセットの時間は上の階に案内されて、とてもきれいな夕日をみることができました。ロブスターやステーキはもちろんとても美味しいし、ドリンク2杯も無料も付いていて、一杯の量が多いので十分満足できます。食事中は素敵なハワイアンミュージックを楽しむことができ、船が陸についてからはフラやハカ？のダンスをみて、とても盛り上がりました。小さい子どもにもたくさん話しかけてもらって嬉しかったです。最高の思い出ができました。

My wife and I enjoyed the sunset cruise. Although it was an issue or two, they should try to be resolved the last time I took the cruise. I was able to be out on the outside on the deck at the sunset. Got to take some amazing pictures . This time we are in line for the buffet when is sunset. I think the time should be adjusted if the time is earlier when the sun sets. The whole purpose of a sunset cruise is to be able to watch the sunset and not be called to the buffet table to get your meal. My wife really enjoyed the Buffay food. She said it was very good as a picky eater. She ate a little bit of everything and enjoyed it.

I will verify the timing of other cruises before I would take the cruise again as the whole purpose was to be able to watch the sun set

I enjoyed delicious food at a buffet that truly captured the essence of Hawaii. They kept the atmosphere lively with shows, and I appreciated their attentiveness and friendly interactions.

I visited Hawaii for my honeymoon, and I was moved by a live performance of a ukulele rendition of a honeymoon song. I also experienced "Rock-a-Hula," the largest Hawaiian show in Waikiki that combines Polynesian culture with rock music, featuring well-known cast members. I believe such shows are hard to find elsewhere.

Personally, I found the fire dance show to be a lot of fun. I would love to join this tour again when I come back to Hawaii.
