The fun really starts when you get on the nice air conditioned bus. Our host on the bus was hilarious all the way to our destination. The show is in a wetnwild but honestly I forgot about half way to the beginning of the show. The food was good and the dancers were better. The chief was also a funny man and although you do get this amazing entertainment, you also get a little bit of history of the people of the islands. Overall it was a great show. We even got a souvenir

I wish I could have received more detailed information about Haleiwa Town, such as maps and travel time distribution. We did a quick tour around the town, but the explanations and movements were fast, and before I knew it, we had free time, which made me a bit flustered. However, seeing how quickly the parking lot filled up with cars by noon made me understand the urgency. Thank you for your help.

This tour was TOP NOTCH. The van was clean and comfortable and all of the places stopped along the tour were awesome. It was a fun filled day! We loved that this tour was a small group on an uncrowded, cool, comfortable van. Our tour guide, Alan, was super informative, easy going and hilarious. His approach, information and personality put this tour over the top for us. The cost for this tour was higher than the bus tour we booked with a different company but it was 100% worth it!

I chose a seaside horseback riding course, and I was able to ride with peace of mind on a very well-behaved horse. The guide also acted as an interpreter for the local staff, which made everything easy to understand. Additionally, they made a reservation for lunch, and I was able to enjoy the popular garlic shrimp with no waiting time. They also explained the locations of shops in the city, making for a very fulfilling day.

There were restrictions on Kalakaua Avenue and other roads due to the event from the morning, but the pickup was on time. Since it was a large bus, I imagine it was challenging to park amidst the restrictions. Fortunately, I received a notification in the morning that my flight was delayed, so I was able to use the service without rushing.

The guide was raised in Japan and speaks Japanese fluently, making jokes and chatting really well. My 70-year-old mother wanted to experience this, so we signed up. I was worried since it was her first time on a Segway, but the guide taught her kindly and patiently, and we had plenty of practice. We rode along a really pleasant course by the sea in Honolulu, enjoying the scenery, and the guide's assistance was wonderful. It turned out to be an amazing time. I definitely want to recommend this. It was the best tour during our five days in Hawaii. The guide supported my mother while she rode the Segway, so she felt at ease the whole time. She said she really enjoyed it, and as her son, I was happy and grateful to the guide.

It’s not just non-stop riding; there are breaks at scenic spots and filming locations, so it’s not too tiring. Since there can be mud splashes, it’s recommended to wear darker clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty rather than light-colored ones!

After passing through customs inspection and exiting through the left corridor, I found a staff member waiting with a sign bearing my name. As we walked together to the bus stop, there were a few other groups waiting as well. We waited together for about 15 minutes until both reserved and walk-in guests gathered, and then we boarded the bus. The driver was helpful in sorting and loading the luggage according to the destinations.

Bishop Museum Tickets & Admission - Hawaii Museum of Natural & Cultural History

Extensive Museum of Hawaiian History & More!

The Bishop Museum was at the top of our list when it came to museums to visit. With an expansive exhibit in the Hawaiian Hall main building, they have everything from artifacts from the Hawaiian Royal Family to traditional medicine and religion. Do not miss this part of the museum - it's too important to miss!

There was also a kid-friendly Backyard Adventures Exhibit in the Castle Memorial Building, which my young son absolutely enjoyed. Each part of this exhibit is interactive and teaches kids about the seasons and bugs too!

The Richard T. Mamiya Science Adventure Center is an amazing exhibit which houses their volcano exhibit and native flora and fauna. There is an amazing walk through of a dark maze backlit with colorful birds and plants. Don't miss this one either!


The Bishop Museum is a wonderful resource and cultural center for both locals and visitors. I highly recommend it and consider it to be among the most comprehensive publically available experiences on Hawaiian & Pacific culture. Don't miss the chance to visit!

We had a great hike with our tour guide, Ryan. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. He was passionate about what he does and made a great day for us. The hike was just challenging enough without being too difficult. The lunch provided was great too. We didn't know what to expect going into this but had a great time and would recommend this to anyone. It's a great way to see a part of the island that we never would have seen otherwise.

The experience was great! The food was good and the service great. We did the 3-star dinner and it was so much fun. We did the private table upgrade, which is worth the extra cost. This trip was fantastic! We started with a Honolulu city tour learning about the Kingdom of Hawaii, as well as Punchbowl Cemetery. We then headed to Pearl Harbor, where we honored the fallen at the Arizona. The Missouri and Aviation Museum were also great! The bus picked us up promptly at 8am from our hotel in Waikiki and we were dropped off at 5pm, but the day seemed to fly by. Our drivers Lola and BK were wonderful!! The company was also kind enough to hold the last bus for us because we were running late. Royal Star was in charge of the tour - very organized and all the employees were great!!
