We participated in this optional tour during our first trip to Hawaii with my mother, two daughters, and husband. It was the girls' strong desire to join, but... we only saw the tail and back for a very short time. Even so, we were excited and shouted loudly, but I wondered if only very lucky people get to see the dynamic sight like in the photos. Moreover, the captain would say, "In the direction of ○○ o'clock," but everything was in English. While the foreigners moved quickly, the Japanese were all confused and flustered. In the meantime, the foreigners took the spots, and we couldn't get onto the deck. The announcements were mostly in English, and the crew also spoke almost exclusively in English. When we asked if anyone understood Japanese, they just shook their heads. We hardly understood any explanations. If we're going to spend half a day on this tour, I thought it would be more effective to extend our time for shopping around Waikiki or Kahala.

母と娘二人と夫の5人で人生初のハワイ旅行で、このオプショナルに参加しました。娘達のたっての希望で、参加したのですが...見えたのはほんの短い時間、尻尾と背中がちょっぴりでした。それでも、興奮して大きな声は出ましたが、写真のようなダイナミックな姿を見られるのは本当に運の良い人だけなのかな、と思いました。そして、何より、船長さんが「○○時の方向」と教えてくれるのですが、全て英語のみで、外人の方々はさっさと移動するのですが、日本人は皆、分からずオロオロ。その間に外人の方々に場所を取られてデッキに入れず。アナウンスも英語ばかりで、クルーの方々もほぼ英語のみで、日本語のわかる方、ときいても、首を振られるばかり。説明などはほぼわかりませんでした。このツアーに半日を費やすのなら、ワイキキやカハラ辺りまで、足を伸ばしてショッピングに時間を使う方が有効だな、と思いました。

My 2nd time to Pearl Harbor. 1st time touring Bowfin!

We chose the trip with the tour because we had nothing else scheduled for the day, and I'm glad we did! After visiting the memorial, we were able to go aboard the USS Missouri and spent a good amount of time there. Afterwards, our super nice guide took us around town showing us all of the main attractions and was able to answer all of our questions! We were picked up and dropped off at the hotel which made this really convenient. I would recommend this to everyone! We were back by early afternoon so still had plenty of time left to do our own thing for the rest of the day. Great experience!

We had such a great time! Our tour guide was so personable and made the most of our trip. The tour of Downtown Honolulu is a must if you have the time!

Very fascinating and informative--too much to see in a day--we did the Bowfin submarine & submarine museum, the Arizona memorial, the outdoor exhibits, and the Missouri short-tour. would have liked the longer tour and completely missed the Pacific Air museum. could have used another half-day. exhibits and guides were great.

Last time, we participated in a horseback riding tour in the forest with my child, and we were very satisfied. This time, during the horseback riding experience by the beach, we enjoyed riding while gazing at the beautiful sea. We created another wonderful memory. Before the experience, we leisurely enjoyed a garlic shrimp bento for lunch and took a little stroll around the town of Haleiwa, making for a very fulfilling day. I would love to participate in this tour again.

前回は親子で森の中を乗馬するツアーに参加せて頂きましたが、その時も大満足
でしたが、今回は海辺での乗馬体験のツアーでは、綺麗な海を眺めながら、乗馬を楽しむ事が出来ました。
また最高の思い出が出来ました。体験の前にはランチでガーリックシュリンプのお弁当をのんびり食べたり、ハレイワの町を少し散策したり、とっても充実した内容でした。またこのツアーに参加させて頂きたいと思います。

The weather was nice, and the guide and everyone else were very kind, which made it enjoyable. The nature was wonderful, and I really liked it. Since it was a day trip, I couldn't take my time, so I thought I would like to stay longer next time.

天気も良く、ガイドさんを始め皆さんとても良い方で楽しかった。
自然が素晴らしく大変気に入りました。
日帰りなのでゆっくりはできなかったので次回はゆっくり滞在したいと思いました。

Haleiwa doesn't offer much in terms of shopping or sightseeing, so without activities, there's not much to do. That's why our guide, who also drove, took us to Turtle Bay. I think the free time plan is for those who want to relax a bit.

ハレイワはショッピングや観光で時間は潰れないので、アクティビティなしだと何もやることがないです。それで、案内と運転の兼任の方がタートルベイまで連れて行ってくださいました。
フリータイムプランはちょっとのんびりしたい方向けだと思います。

Love the new theater and addition of ss Missouri. I was there 20 yrs ago it it much better. Very easy to purchase with veltra and a good value.

great place pearl harbor, full of history and sadness

It was raining dogs and cats, so the Pearl Harbor tour was shut down on that day...We only saw a video of Pearl Harbor...luckly we still have USS tour, we had wonderful time in the battleship!

We liked the one day pass for us. We rented a car so we arrived went to the sub first, then Pearl Harbor memorial, the museums and then the USS Missouri . We went at our speed on our time. We really enjoyed it. A must for first time visitors!

I had a really fun day riding the pineapple train and exploring the town of Haleiwa. The Japanese guide was very entertaining and kept us engaged throughout the ride. They also took us to a recommended garlic shrimp place and to some special spots, which made me very satisfied.

パイナップル列車に乗ったりハレイワの町を散策したり、本当に楽しい一日でした。
日本人のガイドさんがお話の楽しい方で車内ではずっと楽しませて下さいました。
ハレイワのガイドさんオススメのガーリックシュリンプ屋さんにも連れて行った下さったり、とっておきのスポットに連れて行って下さったり、大満足でした。

This was an awesome tour. The driver was local and gave lots of information about the area...what it used to be and what it is now. Many changes in 45 years. There was plenty of free time to explore. That was the best!

Harry is a great guide with plenty of energy, he will make sure you have a good time and show you some of the best places to hang out. You can lay on the beach and chill out of take part in a host of activities.

Very much enjoyed it. Despite heavy rain the guide did a great job, and helped my wife win a special request.

I participated in a movie location tour and a jeep tour. I had no expectations for the jeep tour at all. As we climbed up roads that seemed impossible to access, we reached breathtaking viewpoints that made us gasp in awe. The beautiful gradient of the ocean and the vast scenery of the ranch were stunning. It was a moment when I felt grateful to be alive.

映画ロケ地めぐりとジープツアーに参加。全然期待していなかったジープツアー。こんなとこ行けるのっていうような道をどんどん上がっていくと、思わず歓声の上がる絶景ポイントが。なんともきれいなグラデーションの海と、広大な牧場の景色。生きててよかったと思った瞬間でした。

3 Star was really all-time famous.

seat was really tight due to many passangers.

food was not that great. I guess 5 star only would provide great taste.

Felix, our guide, was HILARIOUS and FULL of trivia information about the memorial and all the Hawaiian islands! Loved seeing the sights in downtown Honolulu and hearing it's history. Don't miss the opportunity to speak to and thank the WWII vets that are usually there at the memorial - priceless! The only thing that we missed was actually going ON the USS Missouri (Big Mo) and the submarine there. The sub cost an extra $10, but we didn't have time to go on. Access to Big Mo was not offered.

After arriving at Lihue Airport, I met with our guide, Mr. Y. We had an hour and a half before merging with the other four groups of guests. During that time, we drove to Angel Falls. Despite being caught in the heavy rain typical of eastern Kauai, we enjoyed the waterfalls and mountain roads. Since we still had some time, we stopped by the only Walmart on Kauai and quickly picked up some souvenirs. It turned out to be a good decision to shop here, as we didn't have time to stop later.

After returning to Lihue Airport and meeting up with the other guests who arrived on a different flight, we quickly toured the major attractions of Kauai. The Fern Grotto was, of course, a classic experience in the pouring rain. On the ferry down the Wailua River, there was a live hula performance, and I was able to request a few songs. The southern area of Poipu and the western area of Waimea were under clear skies. I was able to experience the various faces of Kauai. Mr. Y, our guide, was a proactive individual who was captivated by Kauai and made the move to live there, yet he remained calm and composed. His guidance was thorough, polite, and easy to understand, reflecting his extensive knowledge. As expected from a former elite (laughs).

On our return to Oahu, the other four groups of guests had an earlier flight than ours. We wanted to take an earlier flight as well, but our booking was originally for a later flight, so we were taken to Lihue Airport together (laughs).

At the modest airport, there wasn't much to do for about an hour, so I ended up sitting on the waiting area sofa with my wife, engaging in a pun battle and passing the time with silly conversations (laughs).

リフエ空港到着後、ガイドのY氏と落ち合う。他の客人4組との合流までに1時間半もあるという。その間、エンジェル・フォールズへドライブ。カウアイ東部特有の土砂降りの豪雨にさらされながらも滝と山道を堪能。まだ少し時間があるのでカウアイ島唯一のウォルマートに立ち寄り。早々にカウアイ土産をゲット。後々、立ち寄り時間は無かったのでここで買い物しておいたのは正解。
再度リフエ空港に戻り、別フライトで到着した他の客人と合流後、カウアイのメジャーな見所をさっと足早に見回る感じ。シダの洞窟はやはり定番の豪雨の中。カイルア川くだりのフェリーではフラの生演奏。何曲かリクエストさせてもらったりして。南部のポイプ、西部のワイメアは抜けるような晴天。カウアイの様々な表情が体感出来た。ガイドのY氏は、ハワイの中でもカウアイに魅せられ移住を実現した行動派ながら冷静沈着。懇切丁寧でわかりやすいガイダンス。勉強量の豊富さがうかがえた。さすがは元エリート（笑）
オアフへの戻りは、他の客人4組ともが我々よりも1つ早いフライト。どうせ帰るなら我々も早めにフライトしたかったが、ブッキングは元々1つ後のフライトということで、リフエ空港に一緒に連れて行かれる（笑）
これといって何もない質素な空港で、小一時間程特に何もすることもなく、待合のソファに座って嫁とダジャレ合戦をしたり、バカ話で時間をつぶすしかなかった（笑）

I participated with my daughter. It was my first experience riding a horse, and I was nervous and excited, but it was fun. The guide was very attentive and made us laugh.

娘と参加しました。馬に乗るのは初体験でハラハラどきどきでしたが　楽しかったです。

What a great day!! The tour guide was very knowledgeable and took good care of us. We arrived at Pearl Harbor before the crowd and our group was one of the firsts to visit USS Missouri, so we had great pics opportunities.
Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and to have with you a bottle of water!
It's a must-see attraction to anyone who is interested in history and aspects of the US military.

I was considering going to Kualoa for horseback riding, but I ended up choosing this option because it included visits to places I wanted to see, like Moanalua Gardens, Dole, and the North Shore, and I was able to see sea turtles as well. The famous garlic shrimp was also incredibly delicious. I highly recommend this for those who want to do both sightseeing and horseback riding in a limited amount of time; I’m really glad I chose this option. (The main horseback riding along the coast was, of course, amazing!)

乗馬が目的だったのでクアロアにするか悩みましたが、モアナルアガーデン、ドール、ノースショアと行ってみたい所がセットになっていて、しかもちゃんとウミガメも見れました。名物のガーリックシュリンプもすごく美味しかった。時間がない中で観光も乗馬もしたい方はお勧めですね、こちらを選んで本当によかったです。（メインの乗馬は海沿いでもちろん最高！）

The "Surf Bus" Rocked my world, got timed out and lost my heartfelt compliments. I can't rewrite my praises. It does not do justice. Going to try:
Sam was an amazing guide, the playing, eating, and listening on the North Shore, my taste of heaven. Just visualize; Sea Turtles, tidal pools and an eye to eye with an Eagle Ray, food to die for, and 1000 reasons to keep coming back. An awesome "build your own burger". Surprise yourself and go for it! Not a sit and stare tour, unless your waiting for a set, or focused on sea turtles. You still get to do your driving. Came back exhausted and completed. 50 years in and now I figure out happy. Better late than never.
Mesmerized by the bright smiles, and sense of community that emerged as we talked through our day. 20 people, 5 countries and a bevy of dialects. It was right Kraky, but no worries mate.

On this tour we saw sights that other tours never get to. First stop was inside the gun turrets, followed by 90 minutes of learning below deck how the ship's guns are controlled, fired and reloaded; how the ships fire controls work; where the different crews lived; how the ward room got its name.
Our guide was the best I've ever had on any tour. Handled complex subjects in easy to understand terms. He is a retired Navy Vet who volunteers three days a week and loves every minute.
The tour lasted about two hours and our small group of 6 were sorry it had ended (supposed to be 90 minutes). Next time I'm in Hawaii, I'll go back for another visit.
Friends recommended this tour enthusiastically, and I do likewise.

I had a very enjoyable tour with an interesting Japanese guide. I might not repeat it, but I recommend it!

awesome and moving, tour guide Fred treated us like Ohana. He was funny and informative.

I had hardly used the Waikiki Trolley until now, but it was convenient not only for shopping but also for sightseeing (Red and Green Lines). I even took it for just a few blocks.

今までほとんど使わなかったワイキキトロリーですが，買い物だけでは無く，観光にも便利でした（レッド・グリーンライン）ほんの数ブロックのために乗ったりしました．

We went on our honeymoon. Since it was Independence Day on July 4th, there were grand fireworks that exceeded our expectations. There was a mix-up with the arrangements, and we were guided on a different course than the one we had signed up for, which was disappointing, but we still made great memories.

新婚旅行で行かせていただきました。7/4の独立記念日だったため盛大な花火が上がり期待以上でした。手配ミスとのことで、申込んだコースとは違ったコースでの案内をされてしまい残念な気持ちもありましたがいい思い出ができました。

This is just a terrific event to attend. The chief and his extended family put on a terrific and funny show designed to entertain all in attendance from couples to families. Many pre-show activities bring you inside the culture of the islands. The food is tasty and plenty of it to enjoy. The staff is very hospitable. Highly recommend.
