We left Waikiki around 7 AM and drove to the location. We got there without getting lost. Since we arrived too early, we relaxed by the ocean in front of us. From there, it was like a conveyor belt to the airplane! The adrenaline was insane! I went with three friends, and the people in front of us just disappeared! There was no cheering. Watching that, it was soon my turn. The feeling of falling lasts about the first second, I guess. I couldn't tell if I was up or down. After that, I was mesmerized by the amazing scenery. It was absolutely the best! Although the four of us were really nervous, everyone wanted to do it again! We were all very satisfied!

My husband wanted to go skydiving. At first, I was filled with anxiety, but after doing it, I’m really glad I did! Even though I usually keep my eyes closed on roller coasters, I didn’t feel scared at all because of the height! During the free fall, I was just focused on surviving! Once the parachute opened, I was able to enjoy a leisurely journey through the sky!!

However, according to the explanation from Veltra beforehand, there was supposed to be a Japanese-language briefing, but there was none at all. It seems there were no staff who could speak Japanese. But the gestures were clear enough that even my husband, who has zero English skills, could understand, so it was okay.

I’m not good with heights, so I participated thinking it would be a once-in-a-lifetime experience. But... it was so much fun! The instructor was a handsome nice guy named Christian, but since he couldn't speak Japanese, I thought it would have been even more enjoyable if we could communicate. The moment I jumped out of the Cessna was terrifying, but during the free fall, spinning, and the corkscrew flight after the parachute opened, it was nothing but "fun!" until landing. The moment it was over, I wanted to do it again‼︎

There were some disappointing moments with the grandfather who drove us and his request for tips, but other than that, it was fantastic. This is definitely an activity I want to include in my plans when I come back to Hawaii!

The helicopter trip was brilliant. I was a bit nervous since I had never done this before but our pilot Jim was great at explaining what was happening and why. He kept us entertained for the full journey at the same time providing lots of useful info. The view was breath-taking especially for those parts of the island that can't be reached via road. Would definitely recommend this activity if you want to see Oahu from a completely different prospective.

Even at 4,200 meters, you can only float for about 5 minutes, so I definitely recommend going for 4,200 meters! I bought the video, but hiring the cameraman was an additional $70, and the video itself was about $250. I think the photos were another $200. My tandem staff was really cool, and after we landed, he quietly folded the parachute while I had no idea what to do. But when I watched the video, I was surprised to see him having a blast while we were flying (ﾟДﾟ;). After it was over, I had to wait quite a while for the CD-R. It was slow, so when I went to the reception, I found a box with the CD-R inside, and when I asked, it had already arrived a long time ago. I wish they had communicated that sooner.

I had booked through Veltra without a pickup, but when I arrived in Japan, I was surprised to receive an email from the skydiving company confirming the pickup time, saying, "I'm worried. Please contact me." I also wished they would have replied saying it was a mistake if it was indeed an error.

This was my second time in Hawaii, and my first time skydiving. Unfortunately, the weather was not great due to clouds at that time. After five minutes, if there wasn't even a little bit of sunshine, it seemed like we would have to cancel for the day, but then a small break in the clouds appeared.

Seizing the moment, I boarded the Cessna. Although we didn't reach the highest altitude, I was able to dive safely into the sky. It truly became the best experience of my life.

We had a great experience with Paradise Helicopter. The guide was great and we felt safe throughout the ride. We did a 10 min ride of North Shore and that was good for us as the most fun is taking off and landing. Our 4 yr old son enjoyed it very much. Would def recommend!

I went with a mixed group of about ten people, mostly Japanese, and there were some Koreans as well. The driver was an elderly man in his 70s. He didn’t seem like a bad person, but on the bus, he made us pass around a community newspaper where he had posted about his skydiving experience. He talked about his upbringing, spiritual matters, and global warming, and honestly, I couldn't understand what he was saying at all. That kind of talk was unnecessary.

When we arrived, everyone else took the training and boarded the Cessna, and they kept descending one after another. However, for some reason, we (I didn’t jump, but my companions did) were forgotten, and even though we arrived at 9 AM, the Cessna didn’t take off until after 11 AM. (Everyone else had finished by before 10 AM.)

As other participants finished their jumps and more people arrived, I started to think we were being forgotten. I occasionally asked the elderly driver, “Are we still waiting?” but he would say things like, “It’s just the order” or “It seems it will take a while,” and we were left waiting. The driver could have asked the staff for us, but he didn’t do that for quite some time. After about an hour and a half, he finally went to ask, and we were told, “It seems the paperwork was sent to the wrong place.” In short, we had been forgotten. I should have just gone to the reception myself to ask.

While we were waiting in a daze, there was a loud “bang!” followed by staff shouting “Oh No!” and “Emergency!” Then we saw someone collapse in the grass, and an ambulance arrived. It was shocking. In the end, it turned out that the parachute didn’t open in the air, but the person had failed the landing and fell a bit. However, I don’t know the details, and it was really scary. The person didn’t move for about 30 minutes, and the staff were all in a flurry. そうこうしてボーっと待っているところに、「ドン！」という音とともに、スタッフ達の「Oh No!」や「Emergency！」とかいう声。そして草むらに倒れる人。そしてやってきた救急車。ビックリしました。結局は上空からパラシュートが開かずに落ちたのではなく、最後の着地に失敗し、ちょっと落ちた？みたいなことだったようです。でも詳しくわからないし、本当に怖かったです。３０分くらいは倒れた状態から動かなかったし、スタッフもザワザワしていたし。結局、落ちた人は救急車に乗らず、その人の同行者が運転する自家用車で帰って行ったので、それほどの怪我ではなかったようです。でも、そんなんを見てから飛ぶなんて楽しみではなく恐怖ですよね。

ドライバーさんがちょっとアレな人。現地ではさんざん待たされ、そして事故を目の当たりにし、それによって更に待たされ、ようやく飛べたものの、天候はあまりよくないとのことで、最高高度を希望していましたが高度を下げられ（これは仕方がないことです）良い思い出は空の上だけです。

あと、雲が多いということで、高度を下げることになったから３０ドル返金してもらったのですが、それも、自分で受付に言いに行かないと返金しないシステムだったので、そこも不満です。言いに行かなければ返金しないなんておかしいですよね。現地は小さな事務所で、お客さんも１０人もいないくらいで把握しきれないわけでもないのに。

そしてそんなこんなで、あまりにも長時間待たされたので帰り際に受付に苦情を言いに行きましたが、さすが日本とは違いますね。本当に謝らない！書類が届くのが遅かったとか、書類が手違いで違うところに行っていたとか、天候がー、とかとか。あんまり英語も話せないので、言いたいことの半分も言えなかったのがくやしいです。言い訳ばっかりでした。自分は悪くないと。ドライバーさんは、自分は書類を提出したが受付が間違ったと言い張るし、受付は自分のせいじゃないと言うし。

そしてようやくワイキキに戻る時、ドライバーさんが言った「今日はいろんなトラブルがあったからね、ちょっと遅くなったけどねー。ハイすみませんでした。」という言葉に、もうツアー参加者全員沈黙でしたね。その言い方。。。
そしてその後、携帯電話で本部みたいなところに電話し、「問題なく終わりましたー。」という脳天気な報告にもイラッとしました。

ドライバーさんの意味不明な話。他の人たちは飛び終えてからの待ち時間、私たちは飛ぶ前の待ち時間。事故。申告しないと返金しないシステム。そして謝らない姿勢。

疲れました。

グアムでスカイダイブしたときは講習からすべてに至るまで素晴らしいサポートだったのになぁ。。

I have had many rides on helicopters and this was the best. Never rode one with no door. My daughter and myself felt it was one of the best things we have done in our lifetime. The pilot was fantastic and having riden with the Sheriffs department as on observer several times in years past he ranks number one. What a smooth and exciting ride. I am telling all my family and friends to check out your service before anyone else when they come over to Hawaii. I will take another ride on my next trip back in the months ahead.

Hawaiian Paradise...I was so blown away! Glad we did it!

In celebration of our 11th Year Anniversary, my husband and I agreed getting on a helicopter tour. At first, I was worried about motion sickness, and all these negative thoughts we had in our minds especially that we have young children but as we were heading to the helicopter site, the fear that we've had before is turning to an excitement, even more so after we were checked-in by Vincent, who was very helpful, funny, and was able to answer some of the questions and concerns I had before the flight. The weather was cooperating with us too as it was sunny, bright blue skies, with no high winds considering that there was a storm and strong winds the day before. We were asked to check-in 45 minutes before the flight and I thought that was too early but once we got there, the time actually went by too fast as we watched videos of these great sceneries taken on the flights that got us even more fired up!

Adam was our pilot that day and he was very professional, friendly, and informative. He even had us take our time to see the whales as we spotted them swimming in the ocean (we saw 4), and also tons of turtles floating above the water. I like how he communicates with everyone as well and made sure that we are all doing okay.

We are local residents by the way, we've been living in Oahu for 19 years and I have never seen the island so remarkably beautiful until we took this flight! It was amazing and I never stopped talking about it! The sceneries were breathtaking, especially the views of Kaneohe Sandbar! Just incredibly stunning, and what a stress reliever! I don't know how else to express myself but our experience was beyond our expectation! I never appreciated Mother Nature as much as I do now so thank you Blue Hawaiian Helicopters for showing us these and the wonderful experience that will truly last a lifetime! Lucky to live Hawaii..INDEED!

I participated with my daughter, who had experienced it once in Guam, and myself, who has done it several times. This time, we experienced a free fall of about 60 seconds from 4,267 meters, which was completely different from what we had in Guam. Moreover, during our previous experience, it was slightly drizzling, so diving in the clear weather this time allowed us to see the beautiful scenery of Hawaii below perfectly, which was fantastic.

However, the instructor who accompanied my daughter was quite experienced, perhaps too much so, and didn't really hype things up. While other people were spinning around after the parachute opened, my daughter seemed to just be falling straight down... I thought the enjoyment really depends on the instructor. By the way, I had an amazing time.

過去にグアムで一回経験したことのある娘と、あちこちで何回か経験済みの親で参加しました。
今回は4267メートルでフリーフォールが約60秒とグアムで経験したものとは全く別世界を味わえたものでした。しかも前回は若干霧雨のような状態でしたので、今回のピーカン天気でのダイビングは下界のハワイのきれいな景色もバッチリ見えて最高でした。
しかし、娘についてくれたインストラクターの方はずいぶんベテランの方で慣れすぎているっていうかあまり盛り上げてくれないっていうか、パラシュートが開いてからもほかの人はぐるぐる回ったりしているのに娘だけはただ落ちてくるだけみたいな・・・
楽しさはインストラクターによるかなあと思いました。
ちなみに私は最高に楽しかったです。

It was amazing! I was moved by the wind, thrill, and refreshing feeling I experienced with my whole body, as well as the views of Hawaii from above! Even though my English is at an elementary level, the instructor who flew with me spoke some Japanese, albeit broken, and communicated through gestures, so I felt no anxiety. Above all, they were super friendly and had great energy! I want to come back to Hawaii for skydiving again... no, I will definitely come back!

P.S. The price goes up, but I recommend purchasing the DVD. Every time I watch the footage, the excitement and emotions from that moment come rushing back.
