I used this service for my honeymoon in late September. We quickly arrived at the sandbar by boat from the port. During the boat ride, the staff provided explanations. The main language was English, but they also kindly explained in Japanese, which made me feel very reassured. (There were probably about three Japanese couples participating.)

I checked the tide levels before making the reservation, but fortunately, the sky was clear, and the water depth at the sandbar was just right. First, we put on life jackets and swam in relatively deep, beautiful coral reefs. We were able to see sleeping sea turtles, the staff attracted fish for us, and we even got to touch starfish. My wife, who can't swim, was able to enjoy herself without worry. The sea was, of course, beautiful.

After returning to the shallow area, we were able to take wonderful pictures with stunning views. When we got back to the boat, they had coffee, juice, snacks, and apples prepared, so we could take a break if we got tired. The staff were all smiling and supported us in having a great time. It became a lifelong memory. I definitely want to participate again when I come back to Hawaii!!!

Thank you, everyone! One piece of advice: the round-trip bus has very strong air conditioning, so it might be good to have something to wear over your shoulders!

9月下旬に新婚旅行で利用いたしました。
港からサンドバーへはボートであっという間に着きました。ボートで向かってる間にスタッフさんから説明があります。基本は英語ですが、日本語での説明も丁寧にしてくださいましたので、とても安心できました。(おそらく日本人の方は3組くらい参加していました)
一応潮の満ち引きは予約前に確認はしましたが、幸い空は快晴で、サンドバーの水深もちょうど良かったです。
まず、ライフジャケットを付けて、比較的最新の深いサンゴ礁を泳ぎました。眠っているウミガメを見れたり、スタッフさんが魚を寄せてくれたり、ヒトデを触らせてくれたりもしました。泳げない妻でも安心して楽しめました。海はもちろん綺麗です。
浅瀬に戻ってからは、SAPで素晴らしい景色とたくさん写真を撮ることができました。
ボートに戻るとコーヒーやジュース、スナック菓子、林檎など用意してくれているので、疲れたら休憩することが出来ます。
スタッフさんも皆さんニコニコで、こちらが楽しむことをサポートしてくれます。
一生の思い出になりました。またハワイに来たら是非とも参加したいです！！！
皆さんありがとうございました！！
一つアドバイスですが、往復のバスはエアコンがめちゃめちゃ効いてるので、羽織るものはあった方がいいかも！

I participated alone, but the staff were friendly and often checked in on me, which I appreciated. The appearance of the sandbar depends on the season and time of day, so on the day I attended, the water level was up to my chest, and I couldn't see the beach. However, I had a great time doing activities like snorkeling, kayaking, and stand-up paddleboarding in the shallow water where I could stand. If you have flexibility in your schedule, it might be a good idea to check the tide levels and visit on a day when the sandbar is visible. The sun is very strong, so a hat is essential during activities. (My crown got quite sunburned, and the shower was painful...)

I went with my husband for this kayaking adventure. We are both very new to this so it was a bit hard at first. I think the hardest thing was understanding the map. However after a while it was great. The only down side is that is was windy and going back did take it out of us. However we did have so much fun at the sand bar. We weren’t able to go snorkeling because we we’re going to run out of time. So buy the 8 hours. It’s worth it

I booked the morning turtle snorkel tour hoping that time would ensure we saw turtles and we did! There were 5 turtles and occasionally 1 would surface near us and then swim back down. Great experience seeing them up close.
This tour was the best price I found and since it's a short sail, glad I did.

They divided the tables by nationality on the ship, and it was reassuring to have staff who could speak Japanese. There was live music, and the service of donuts and drinks was also nice. It was a bit disappointing that it was high tide that day, which was different from what I imagined, but the sea was very beautiful! I was able to experience snorkeling, stand-up paddleboarding, and kayaking, and I had a fulfilling day.

I joined a sandbar tour because I wanted to see the beautiful ocean. When the English guidance started, I was a bit worried, but they kindly explained everything again in Japanese. Finally, we arrived at the sandbar. It seemed like everyone was good at swimming, as it naturally led to snorkeling, and we all went into the water in our swimsuits. Since neither my husband nor I can swim, we waited in the shallow area of the sandbar, and the instructor brought a float for us to hold onto while pulling us towards the deeper water. Looking into the ocean, we saw so many beautiful fish swimming around, and a large turtle swam right underneath us. It was a truly magical experience. I am grateful to the instructor who gently guided us through the stunning ocean, making it the best memory of our 10-day trip to Hawaii.

First off, the employees there are very helpful and elaborate when explaining how the tour works. The views all around were absolutely beautiful, one of my favorite experiences during my Hawaii trip. The kayaking was definitely tiring, even though we only went around the closest nearby reefs and it wasn't a windy day. However, it was really cool to be able to anchor the kayak yourself and decide where you want to go. We were able to see lots of coral (even some new, colorful ones!), schools of fish, and 2 sea turtles! Overall, would definitely recommend this tour to others, and would like to come back one day.

My wife and I participated together. We checked the tide level of the sandbar in advance and chose a day with relatively shallow tides to plan our trip and tour schedule. The tide level when we participated was about 60 cm, allowing us to enjoy the atmosphere of the sandbar. Whether walking or swimming, it takes about 5 minutes to reach the sandbar area. Outside the sandbar area, the water gets deeper, and there are corals, where we went snorkeling. We encountered many beautiful fish and sea turtles. It was very moving to see a large sea turtle sleeping on the seabed and three smaller sea turtles swimming together. We were very satisfied and were able to fully enjoy ourselves for over an hour. The only downside was that the water was a bit murky.

We brought our own snorkels and fins. The tour provided snorkels, but it seemed they did not have fins available, as other participants were not using them. If you want to enjoy snorkeling seriously, I think it's best to check in advance whether they can provide fins.

The staff were all able to speak Japanese, and they were kind, cheerful, and very good.

　妻と2人で参加しました。事前にサンドバーの潮位を確認して、比較的潮位が浅い日を選んで旅行とツアーの日程を決めました。参加したときの潮位は60cmくらいで、サンドバーの雰囲気を味わうことができました。ボートを降りて、歩いての移動でも、泳ぎながらの移動でも、5分くらいでサンドバーのエリアが終わります。サンドバーのエリアの外側は、深くなっていて、珊瑚もあり、この深いエリアでシュノーケリングをします。たくさんの綺麗なサカナやウミガメに会えました。大きなウミガメが水底で眠っているところや、小さめなウミガメが3匹で泳いでいるところなどが見られてとっても感動しました。私たちは大満足で、１時間以上、フルに楽しむことができました。唯一、水が濁っていたのが少し残念でした。
　私たちは自前でシュノーケルとフィンを持って行きました。ツアーでもシュノーケルは貸していましたが、フィンは用意されていないようで、他の参加者はフィンを使っていませんでした。本格的にシュノーケリングを楽しみたい方は、フィンを貸してくれるかどうか、事前に確認した方が良いと思います。
　スタッフの方々は、皆さん、日本語も話せて、親切で明るくて、とても良かったです。

This is a must if you are visiting Oahu. The sandbar is magical place and KBWS makes for a memorable trip. The staff is friendly and the musicians were outstanding. BYOB, snacks and floats! This tour has the perfect mix of activists to choose from or chill on their floating doc / cool water ankle to waist deep pending tide.

Even with the rain it was still fun

Amazing day even with the rain. Definitely coming back when it's sunny and low tide. Captain Robin and his team were super friendly, amazing and patient. Even with the rain there was plenty of fish and turtles to see. I'm not a strong swimmer and I need to touch the bottom (it's weird I know) but Captain Robin was so accomodating, calming, understanding and patient and took me out to the deep reef area on a floater device and I was able to see the fish and turtles. I'm glad he did and I'm glad he didn't push me when I tapped out early. True champion.
The vessel is clean and has plenty of snacks and hot and cold drinks if you don't want to take your own. You can take your own alcohol and they also have plenty of water toys, paddle boards, floatation devices in a seperate raft.
Make sure to bring cash to tip as they are definitely deserving of any gratuity and the experience is amazing as well. One I'll definitely do again when I'm back next time.

I participated in the morning session. The sea was emerald green and very beautiful! I was surprised at how deep and cold it was at first. I tried kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding for the first time, and it was really fun. Although I couldn't see the sandy beach due to timing, I had a great time overall.

Super fun activities - love it!

Vibe was great, music was awesome. They had live music on our trip to the location and played music while we played in the water. It was the best activity we booked on our trip. We enjoyed paddle boarding the best. But just hanging out in the middle of the ocean was so much fun. Would definitely recommend. I didn't book the extra activities and still had a great time. Don't forget to bring your reef safe sunscreen. The crew was great and very helpful.

Kayaking was awesome

The overall experience was amazing. It was the best part about our trip. The scenery is breathtaking. The best part was snorkeling in a hole that was bombed in 1942. When we snorkeled in the bomb hole we seen a couple turtles and other sea life. The only thing that I didn’t care for was that it is a workout to come back. I thought it was gonna be easy to kayak the way back but it was exhausting. So I would say give yourself some time to come back especially if you have young children because you will sweat.

My family enjoyed this tour. All staff are very nice and helpful. Elvin helped my 8-year old son in kayaking. The gentleman at snorkeling helped me when I couldn’t swim back to the boat. The bus driver was very nice too. Oh the staffs on the boat are all friendly. Thank you all for the wonderful experience.

It was my first time back in Hawaii in three years, and my first time participating in this cruise in three years as well. The weather was probably the best I've ever experienced. The ocean seemed to be clearer than before. Wearing masks is optional. If you're concerned, it might be a good idea to bring your own mask and snorkel. Prices have gone up compared to before, but the easy snorkeling off Waikiki and the enjoyable cruising experience are worth it.
