I have been to Hawaii many times, but this was my first experience at a sandbar. Even though it's offshore, the sand made from crushed coral allows you to stand. It's surprising that not only can you stand, but it feels like just the tips of your feet are in the water. Standing in the middle of the ocean is astonishing. I think you may have seen it in TV commercials. Experiencing it in person was incredibly moving. I had fun playing beach volleyball with foreign staff and guests near the sandbar. Since I was the only Japanese participant, I hope more shy Japanese people will join in. We spent 45 minutes on the sandbar. While moving by boat to the snorkeling spot, I saw many green sea turtles coming up to the surface to breathe. It's reassuring that the staff swims with you during snorkeling. A lot of fish came to the bait, making for a fun time. It seems that even first-time snorkelers can enjoy it.

ハワイは何十回も行っていますが、サンドバーへ行ったのは初めての体験でした。サンゴが波で砕けてできた砂が積って居るのは沖合なのに足が立ちます。足が立つどころか足の先だけが海中にある感じで驚きます。海のど真ん中に立っているのは驚きです。テレビのＣＭとかで見たことあると思います。実際に体験するとそれはスゴイ感動モノでした。サンドバーのそばで外国人スタッフの人と海外からのお客さんと一緒にビーチバレーをして楽しみました。日本人はわたし一人だけの参加だったので、引っ込み思案な日本の人たちも参加してほしいなあと思いました。サンドバーでは４５分間上陸していました。シュノーケルする場所へ船で移動してるときは、ミドリウミガメが水面にいっぱい顔を出して息継ぎしている姿がドンドン見れました。シュノーケルの時にはスタッフも一緒に泳いでいるので安心です。餌に魚がイッパイ寄ってきて楽しい時間でした。シュノーケル初体験者も楽しめるようですよ。

I participated in the sandbar for the first time. It takes about 30 minutes by bus from the Waikiki hotel to the Kaneohe pier. After getting off the bus, I transferred to a boat to go. The foreign male staff on the bus shared interesting stories, so I wasn't bored. While on the boat to the sandbar, the staff sang songs for us. There were many foreign participants, but there were also Japanese female staff who provided explanations in Japanese, which was reassuring. When we boarded the boat and saw Chinaman's Hat, we arrived at the sandbar. This time, the water depth was about 20 centimeters. It was fun to play volleyball in the middle of the ocean. For those who were snorkeling for the first time, they allowed practice there. After that, we returned to the boat for lunch. The hamburger for lunch was very delicious. Drinks were also free and unlimited. After that, we moved by boat to another snorkeling spot. During the transfer, we were able to see many turtles, which was enjoyable. When snorkeling, feeding the fish attracted a lot of them, and I was able to swim happily over the coral.

サンドバーに初めて参加しました。
ワイキキホテルからバスでカネオヘの桟橋まで30分ぐらいで到着します。バスを降りて桟橋から船に乗り換えて行きました。バスの中でも外国人男性のスタッフが面白い話をしてくれて退屈しません。船でサンドバーに行く間もスタッフが歌を歌ってくれます。外国人の参加が多いですが日本人女性のスタッフもいますから日本語説明してくれますので安心です。船に乗ってチャイナマンズハットが見えてくるとサンドバーに到着しました。今回は20センチくらいの水深でした。
海の真ん中でバレーボールをしたりと手も楽しいです。
シュノーケルが初めての人はそこで練習もさせてくれます。
その後船に戻ってランチが始まります。
ランチのハンバーガーはとても美味しかったです。
ドリンクも無料で飲み放題でした。
その後またシュノーケルをする場所まで船で移動しました。
移動のときも亀をたくさん見ることができて楽しかったです。シュノーケルは、餌をやるといっぱい魚が寄ってきてサンゴの上を楽しく泳ぐことができました。

I've never seen such a beautiful sea... I was moved.
It's not like the shallow waters in Japan; in the morning, due to the tides, the sand doesn't show, so you definitely have to walk in the areas where the tide has gone out.
I also enjoyed snorkeling, and the BBQ was delicious—I'll definitely go again!

今まで見たこともない美しい海・・・感動しました。
日本の海にある浅瀬ではないんですね、午前中は潮の満ち引きの関係で砂が顔を出さないとか、絶対潮が引いたとこを歩かなきゃ駄目ですよね。
シュノーケリングも楽しめましたしBBQも美味しかったー、絶対もう一度行く！

This was a great activity. We didn't see as many difference colored fish as I thought we would, but we did swim with the fish and see some sea turtles.

The sailing part was the most enjoyable. I could have stayed out all day.

The crew was friendly and helpful.

I researched the data and it was perfectly low tide, so I participated in the afternoon BBQ tour. The staff created a fun atmosphere, and I ended up having a great time. The BBQ lunch was unexpectedly delicious, and I even encountered sea turtles while snorkeling.

At Sandwalk, we had plenty of time, and the staff took photos of all the participants and uploaded them to the website, so I was able to see them right after returning home, which helped me recall the enjoyable time we had. It not only reminded me of our experience but also of the other participants, making it even more memorable.

If I could wish for something, I would like the snorkeling time to be longer. While I understand the importance of the explanations, I felt they were a bit lengthy. They are necessary for beginners, but not for those who are more experienced. Perhaps grouping participants according to their skill levels would be a good idea.

Also, one of the photos taken is sold, but I was disappointed because I thought it would be a larger size, not the standard size. Honestly, $10 is quite expensive for that, especially since the backing is very plain.

Overall, I really enjoyed the content and felt it was worth participating in.

データを調べてバッチリ干潮時だったので、午後のＢＢＱツアーに参加しました。スタッフの方の楽しい雰囲気作りにいつの間にか乗せられてとても楽しむことができました。予想以上に美味しかったＢＢＱランチ、シュノーケルでは海亀とも出会えました。
サンドウオークではたっぷりと時間があり、参加者全員の写真を撮りＨＰにアップしてくれたので、帰国後は直ぐに見ることができて楽しかった時間を思い出せました。自分達だけでなく、参加者の方々を思い出せるのでより思い出深くなると思います。
欲を言えば、シュノーケルの時間をもっと長く取れると良いなと思います。大切だとは思いますが、説明時間が長いと思いました。初心者には必要ですが、慣れている方には不要ですから。
力量に合わせてグループ分けしてはどうでしょうか。
また、撮ってくれた写真１枚は販売されますが、普通サイズではなく一回り大きなサイズだと思っていたのでがっかりしました。
あれで＄１０は正直高いです。台紙も全く色気なしですから。
内容的にはとっても楽しめて参加して良かったと思いました。

I circled around Oahu, and the sandbar was the most beautiful and left the biggest impression on me. There were about 20 participants, and among them, there were 7 Japanese, including us, and there was also a Japanese staff member, which made me feel very secure.

Standing in the shallow waters in the middle of the ocean was a surreal sight, and enjoying beer and BBQ while looking at the scenery of the sea transitioning from transparent to a light turquoise blue was pure happiness. We also played beach volleyball with a net set up, and I was able to have fun interacting with foreign participants despite the language barrier.

Photos taken from any angle and of any person turned out beautifully. Moreover, it wasn't just that; we also had opportunities for sea turtle watching and snorkeling, making it an absolutely perfect tour. I highly recommend it!

オアフ島を１周したのですが、サンドバーはその中でも１番きれいで１番印象に残りました。参加者は２０名程でそのうち日本人は私たちを含めて７名、日本人のスタッフもいてとても安心しました。
海の真ん中に浅瀬が浮かびそこに自分が立っている不思議な光景と、海は透明から淡いターコイズブルーへと広がるその景色を見ながらのビールとバーべＱは幸せすぎました。またネットが張られビーチバレーをしました。言葉が通じない外国の方とも楽しく交流もできました。写真はどの角度からでも、どんな人でも絵になります。また、それだけではなく海がめ観察やシュノーケリングなど、まさに至れり尽くせりの最高のツアーでした。絶対お勧めです。

Hawaii is not just Oahu. Indeed, the Big Island is different. The sheer size and wonder of its natural beauty left me in awe. Seeing the flow of lava with my own eyes overwhelmed me with the differences compared to Japanese volcanoes. This is a sight that you can only understand by seeing it; the scale is indescribable. The schedule of leaving at 5 AM and returning at 8 PM was certainly tough. However, upon arriving at Kona Airport and making my way back from Hilo Airport, I truly felt the vastness and simplicity of the Big Island, and I sensed that I would choose to stay on the Big Island for my next trip. It was disappointing that the lava flow had stopped, but I look forward to the next time.

オアフ島のハワイだけがハワイではないですね。
確かにハワイ島は違います。
なんと言っても、その大自然の大きさと驚異に脱帽です。
溶岩の流れた様をこの目で見て、日本の火山との違いに圧倒されました。
これは見てみなければ分からない光景で、説明できない大きさです。
確かに朝５時出発で午後８時帰着のスケジュールは大変でした。
しかし、コナの空港に着き、ぐるっと回ってヒロの空港からの帰路でしたが、ハワイ島の大きさと素朴さを実感し、次回からの旅行にハワイ島での滞在を選択させる予感を覚えました。
溶岩の流れが止まっていて残念でしたが、次回に期待したいです。

I participated at the end of January.

The time spent on the boat was shorter than I expected, and although I took motion sickness medication just in case, I didn't really need it.

The sandbar was shallow, about 10 centimeters below my knees. Surrounded by the ocean in all directions, the view was absolutely stunning and I was moved!

There were about five groups of Japanese people, but more than half were foreigners. There were also staff members who spoke Japanese and were very kind, reaching out to us. I don't understand English, but the foreign staff's vibe was really fun and enjoyable.

I was excited to see sea turtles swimming and took photos of them.

After that, we moved to the snorkeling spot, but I felt the water temperature was low, so I enjoyed sunbathing on the boat while watching. That was also pleasant and enjoyable.

I think anyone who hasn't experienced a sandbar before would have a great time!

If I go again, I would like to visit in the summer and try snorkeling again.

1月の終わりに参加しました。

ボートに乗っている時間も思っていたよりも短くて
念の為酔い止めを飲みましたが、必要なかったなと思いました。

サンドバーは浅いところでひざ下10センチ位でした。
360度海に囲まれて景色はとても最高で感動しました！

日本人5組程で半数以上は外人の方ばかりでしたが、
日本語の話せるスタッフの方もいてとても優しく
声をかけてくれました。
英語は分からないですが、外人のスタッフの方のノリが
とてもおもしろくて楽しめました。

海亀が泳いでいる姿も見れ、興奮して写真とりました。

その後、シュノーケルスポットへ移動しましたが
私は水温が低く感じてボートの上で日光浴をしながら
見ていましたが、それはそれで気持ちよくて楽しめました。

まだサンドバーを経験したことの無い人なら楽しめると思います！

次回行くならば、夏に行ってシュノーケルをリベンジしたいです。

I participated with my mother on our first overseas trip together. Since my mother is over 60, I was a bit worried about whether she would enjoy it among the younger participants, but thanks to the fun guidance from the staff and the stunning beauty of the ocean, those worries disappeared. We had a great time. My mother, who can't swim, stayed on the boat during the snorkeling time, but she was able to enjoy the beautiful sea without getting seasick. I was truly glad that we didn't switch to a cheaper company after hearing that Captain Bruce's boat is the only one that can land on the sandbar. Thank you very much!

初海外の母と二人で親子参加しました。
還暦を過ぎた母ですし、若い人たちの参加の中で楽しめなかったらどうしよう~~と、少し不安でしたが、スタッフの方の楽しい案内や、あまりの海の綺麗さにそんな不安はどこへやら・・・。
とっても楽しかったです。
泳げない母は、シュノーケルの時間はずっと船の上でしたが、それでも船酔いすることなく、綺麗な海を堪能できたようでした。
キャプテンブルースの船が、唯一サンドバーに上陸できると聞いて、破格の値段の会社に乗り換えずによかった~~と心から思いました。
本当にありがとうございました！

We participated as a family of four, consisting of a senior couple and two daughters. The activity included transportation, and when we got off the bus that picked us up at the meeting point, we were greeted by a captain with a stern face. However, his eloquence drew us in and made us laugh, making the approximately 45-minute ride to the dock feel short.

Upon arriving at the sandbar on our private boat, I was amazed to discover such a place in the middle of the spacious Kaneohe Bay… it felt like a miracle of nature. With waves breaking on the distant reef and the green mountains and islands surrounding the bay, there’s no other place where you can relax like this.

Previously, I always went to Hanauma Bay for its coral sea, but the coral I saw while snorkeling here was all alive. The variety of colorful fish and coral is incredible, and I highly recommend bringing a waterproof camera. We also saw many HONU (turtles), so there’s no doubt you’ll have a great time.

Unfortunately, when we participated, it was during a full moon, and the water depth was about 10-15 cm. If you want to fully enjoy the white sandbar, it seems best to check the tide and go around the middle of the new moon and full moon. I also appreciated the captain's singing (he was referred to as the general)… it was a delightful experience.

シニアの夫婦と娘２人の家族４人での参加です。
送迎付のアクティビティ、集合場所に迎えに来てくれたバスから降り立ったのは、厳つい顔のキャプテン？。
でもその饒舌なこと、話に引き込まれたり笑わせられたりで、船着き場までの約４５分が短く感じられました。
そして、専用ボートで到着したサンドバー。
広々としたカネオヘ湾の真ん中に、こんな場所があるなんて…大自然の奇跡です。
遠くにリーフでくだける波、湾を囲む緑の山々と島、こんなにのんびりとできる場所は、他には無いのでは。
今まで珊瑚の海ということで、ハナウマ湾へ行くのが常でしたが、シュノーケルで見た珊瑚は、全てが生きている珊瑚。
様々な色の魚と珊瑚、絶対に防水のカメラを持って行くことをお勧めします。
HONU（亀）も数多く見ることができ、楽しめること間違いなしです。
ただ残念なことに、参加したときは満月の時期、10~15cmほどの水深でした。
ホワイトサンドバーを十分に楽しみたいときは、潮の満ち引きの確認を、新月と満月のちょうど真ん中が良いようです。
キャプテン（ジェネラルと言われていた）の歌にも…感謝です。楽しませていただきました。

As soon as we set off by boat, the view of the Ko'olau mountain range from the sea is truly majestic, just as it has been featured in movies and dramas. The sandbar was incredibly beautiful and exceeded my expectations. There were areas shallow enough to reach my ankles. Sitting there felt a bit like being in a hot spring... There was also a Japanese guide, so even if you don't understand English, you can feel at ease, and I was very satisfied. At the sandbar, we could play volleyball and practice snorkeling for about an hour, and just relax. You can also enjoy drinks (for a fee). The hamburger for lunch was delicious. During this season, it can get a bit chilly when it's cloudy, so we Japanese wore long-sleeved parkas and covered ourselves with beach towels. We were able to warm up with hot drinks. I felt a bit disappointed that the snorkeling might have been clearer if the sun had been out. However, as a beginner, I felt safe jumping in because there were life jackets available. They throw food into the water while you're swimming, so you can see plenty of fish. I was able to see a turtle floating on the surface of the water from the boat. It was so cute. Thank you for a very enjoyable and healing experience.

ボートで出発してすぐに海からみるコオラウ山脈は映画やドラマの舞台となっているだけあって、荘厳な姿が目に焼き付きます。サンドバーはとてもきれいで想像以上でした。足首くらい浅いところもありました。座っていると若干温泉気分に。。。日本人のガイドさんもいて英語がわからなくても安心、大満足です。サンドバーでは小一時間くらいバレーボールやシュノーケルの練習、ゆっくりすることができます。お酒も（有料ですが）楽しめます。ランチのハンバーガーもおいしかったです。この季節は曇ると少し寒いので日本人の私たちは長袖のパーカやビーチタオルをかぶっていました。暖かい飲み物が頂けたので暖まりました。シュノーケルも日がでていたらもう少しきれいだったのかなと少し残念です。ただ初心者の私でもライフジャケットがあったので安心して飛び込むことができました。泳いでいるところに餌をなげてくれるので、たくさん魚もみられます。亀は船から海面に浮いているところをみることができました。可愛かったです。とても楽しく癒される体験をありがとうございました。

It was difficult to expect to see a sandbar like the ones in guidebooks, so I tried to keep my expectations low when participating.

However, perhaps due to the good conditions on the day, a very long sandbar formed, and it felt like I could walk out into the middle of the ocean, which was an impressive sight.

Additionally, there was a Japanese guide, which made me feel very comfortable participating in the tour.

The stay on the sandbar was about an hour, but I think everyone could fully enjoy their time taking photos, playing beach volleyball, lying down and gazing at the sky, and snorkeling.

At that time, the Japanese guide also came down from the boat and took many photos for us, which I really appreciated.

Afterward, we ate hamburgers that were grilled on the boat and did some sea turtle watching from the boat. Since we were watching from the boat, we could only see the turtles' heads popping up, which was a bit disappointing for me as I wanted to swim with them.

But luckily, five manta rays came close to the boat, and we were able to see them.

Finally, we went snorkeling around a coral reef that was about the size of a football field.

I have a scuba diving license and have seen coral reefs several times, but this was the most beautiful one I have ever seen. It spread out like a flower garden just a few dozen centimeters below the surface.

I also went snorkeling at Hanauma Bay the day before, but the coral there seemed mostly dead, and I could hardly see any coral, just black rocks, although I did spot some fish that were larger than those in the true reef. Here, the coral was truly wonderful, and there were many fish, but there weren't many large ones. It probably depends on personal preference; I definitely preferred this one.

After snorkeling, there was no place to change until we returned to the hotel, so we took the bus back in our swimsuits. I think women who are sensitive to the cold should definitely bring something like a hoodie for warmth. Alternatively, I thought it would be best to change on the boat using a towel that forms a circle. It was really cold.

Overall, it was a very satisfying tour. I would love to participate again when I visit Hawaii.

なかなか、ガイドブックで見るようなサンドバーが出ている状態で見るのは難しいのではないかとあまり期待をしないように自分を抑えて参加をしました。

しかし、実際は当日のコンディションもよかったせいか、とても長いサンドバーができて、どこまでも海の真ん中を歩いていけそうな感じで、感動的な光景を見ることができました。

あと、ちゃんと日本人のガイドさんも1人いらっしゃったので、とても安心してツアーに参加できました。

サンドバーの滞在時間は１時間ほどでが、写真を撮ったり、ビーチバレーをしたり、寝転んで空を眺めたり、シュノーケリングをしたりとそれぞれの時間を十分満喫できると思います。

このとき。日本人ガイドさんも船から下りてきてくれて写真を沢山とってくれました。とても有難かったです。

その後、船で焼いてくれたハンバーガーを食べて、船の上から海亀ウォッチングをしました。船の上からのウォッチングだったので、ちょこんと出す頭を見れるだけなので亀と一緒に泳ぎたかった私的にはちょっと残念でした。

でも運よくマンタが5匹が船のすぐそばまで寄ってきて見ることができました。

最後に、フットボールコート1面くらいある珊瑚礁の周りをシュノーケリングをしました。

私は、スキューバーダイビングのライセンスがあるので、何度が珊瑚礁を見たことありますが、私が今まで見た中で一番美しかったです。水面から数十センチのところにお花畑のように一面に広がっていました。

ハナウマ湾でも前日シュノーケリングをしたのですが、そちらの珊瑚礁はほとんど死んでいるのかあまり珊瑚がみれず、黒い岩ばかりでしたが、真タイより大きいような魚がポツポツ見れました。こちらは珊瑚礁がホントに素晴らしく魚も沢山いますが、大型の魚はあまりいませんでした。どちらが良いかは好みですかね。私は、断然こちらの方が好きです。

シュノーケリング後はホテルに帰るまで着替えの場所はないので、水着のままバスに乗りホテルまで帰ります。寒さに弱い女性の方は、パーカーとか寒さ対策できるもの必ず持っていった方が良いと思います。
又は、輪になっているタオルのようなもので船の上で着替がえるのが1番良いと思いました。ホント寒かったです。

全体的に大満足なツアーでした。
またハワイに行った時はぜひ参加したいです。

I visited Sandbar for the first time, and the sandy beach in the ocean was a mysterious and beautiful sight! Additionally, I got to see sea turtles up close and went snorkeling near the coral to see various fish. It was a packed tour, and I would love to participate again!

初めてサンドバーに行きましたが、海の中にある砂浜のは不思議＆きれいな景色でした！また、ウミガメを間近で見たり、サンゴのそばでさまざまな魚を見るシュノーケリングをしたりと盛りだくさんなツアーで、また参加したいと思いました！

Unfortunately, the sea was rough on the day I participated, and I couldn't see any dolphins or whales, which lowered my overall rating a bit.

However, the staff were friendly, and although I didn't get to meet any dolphins, I enjoyed the other activities.

I hope to participate again someday and swim with the dolphins next time.

There was an option to purchase photo data taken by the staff, and I signed up for it, but after returning home, I thought it might have been better to just stick with the photos we took ourselves. The slideshow included photos from other participants for $75, so... (In the end, I found that creating my own slideshow with just our photos turned out better.)

私が参加した日は残念ながら海が荒れていて、
イルカもクジラも全く見れなかったので
ちょっと評価が低くなってしまいました。

スタッフの方たちのフレンドリーなところや、
イルカに会えなかったのですが、
他のアクティビティには楽しませてもらいました。

またいつか参加して、今度こそイルカと泳ぎたいです。

スタッフが撮った写真データの販売があって、
申し込みましたが、
自分たちで撮った写真だけで良かったかなぁと
帰国してから思いました。
他の参加者たちの写真も入ったスライドショーで
７５ドルなので。。。
（結局自分たちだけのスライドショーを
　後で自分で作った方が良い出来でした）

I participated in the Christmas season last month. Since it was winter, the sea was a bit rough, but it was such an amazing tour that I didn't mind at all. We saw a lot of dolphins, and they were really close! I was also surprised to see a whale for the first time! The staff were incredibly kind, which warmed my heart. The taro burger for lunch was delicious—I want to eat it again! The hula instructor was also very entertaining, making it a tour that any Hawaii lover would enjoy, allowing you to truly experience Hawaii. I've participated in other dolphin tours, but I think Dolphin and You is by far the best. Honestly, the quality of the staff and the content is unmatched compared to other dolphin tours. If you're looking for a satisfying tour, I absolutely recommend it!!!

先月クリスマスシーズンに参加しました。
冬ということで海はちょっと荒れ気味？だったけど、そんなこと気にならないくらい、超最高のツアーでした。イルカもたくさん見れたし、本当近かったです。クジラも初めて見てビックリしました！スタッフの皆さんもすごく親切で、心があったかくなりました♪ランチのタロイモのハンバーガー美味しかった~！また食べたいです。フラの先生もとっても面白くてハワイ好きにはたまらない、ハワイをしっかり体感できるツアーです。
他のイルカツアーも参加したことあるけど、やっぱりドルフィンアンドユーがダントツ一番と思います。正直、他のイルカのツアーと比べ物にならないくらい、スタッフも内容も質が高いです。
満足いくツアーを求めるなら絶対お勧めです！！！

I really wanted to swim with dolphins, so I considered various options, including theme parks, but I chose this one because it had so much to offer.

On the day of the tour, the sea was quite rough, and many people got seasick. I felt scared at first, but the photographer, Shera, smiled and said, "The captain is a veteran, so there's nothing to worry about!" This eased my tension, and I ended up having fun with the other participants. Thankfully, I was able to meet the dolphins without feeling seasick. They performed front flips and spin jumps right in front of me, and I was so impressed!!!

It seems that this was the only tour where I could swim with dolphins that day. This was all thanks to the veteran Captain Papa and the other staff who patiently searched for them. By the way, we also got to see a whale's tail and a jump.

I hope the sea is a bit calmer next time...

For those participating, I recommend preparing for seasickness and the cold. I think the best way to combat seasickness is to chat and have fun with the people around you!

とにかくイルカと泳ぎたくて、テーマパークも含めいろいろ検討しましたが、内容が盛りだくさんだったので、こちらを選びました。

当日は、結構海が荒れていて、船酔いする人も続出。
私も最初は怖さを感じていたのですが、カメラマンのSheraさんが「キャプテンはベテランだから怖がらなくて全然大丈夫！」と笑顔で言ってくれたことで緊張が解け、その後は他の参加者とはしゃいでいました。
そして、船酔いと無縁のまま、イルカに出会うことができました。
目の前でフロントフリップやスピンジャンプを見せてくれて、大感激！！！

この日海に入り、イルカと泳げたのはここのツアーだけだったようです。
これもベテランのキャプテンパパさんや他のスタッフのおかげです！本当に根気強く探してくれました。
ちなみに、クジラのおしりとジャンプも見られました。

次回はもうちょい海が穏やかだったらいいなぁ。。。

参加する方には、船酔い対策と寒さ対策をしておくことをお勧めします。一番の船酔い対策は、周りの人とたくさんおしゃべりをして、はしゃいじゃうことだと思います！

Wild Dolphin and Sea Turtle Snorkeling - Luxurious! Prestigious Dolphin University! (Oahu)

I participated on New Year's Eve this time, but the sea was rough... the boat was swaying... both my partner and I ended up feeling unwell (many others were also feeling sick).

However! Even in rough seas, there were good things, like the humpback whales performing spectacular high jumps!!! They jumped quite close to us, which was very exciting!

Unfortunately, there was no duet swim with dolphins as originally intended, as mentioned on the website and in the information; we only saw the pilot whales swimming from the boat.

At the end, we returned to the cove to play a bit, and the cheeseburgers that came out during that time might have been the best part... (I did jump into the rough sea once, but I didn't encounter any dolphins and felt like a passenger escaping from a sinking ship...)

The captain and the staff were very fun and nice people, so I didn't have any unpleasant experiences, and it was enjoyable. However, since we couldn't achieve the original goal, I give it three stars.

野生のイルカとウミガメシュノーケル　豪華！名門イルカ大学！（オアフ島）

今回は大晦日に参加しましたが、海があれてあれて・・・船がゆれてゆれて・・・私も彼女もダウンしてしましました
（他にもけっこうダウンされてました）

しかーし！荒れた海でもいいことはあるもので、ザトウクジラがハイジャンプの嵐！！！かなり近寄っても跳んでくれたので、とても興奮しました！

ただ残念ながら、本来の目的であったHPや案内にあるようなイルカとのデュエットスイムはまったく無し、ゴンドウイルカの泳ぎを船の上から見るだけでした。

最後に入り江に戻って軽く遊ぶのですが、その時に出てくるチーズバーガー始め、その時間がいちばん良かったかも・・・（一回は荒れた海に飛び込んだのですが、イルカとも遭遇せず、且つ沈没する船から逃げた乗客のようでした・・）

船長はじめ、スタッフはとても楽しくいい人たちなので嫌な思いは一切しませんし、楽しかったです。ただ本来の目的が達成できず、ということで星三つです。

I imagined a pristine white sandbar when I joined, but the timing of low tide and the tour didn't match, so it felt more like a shallow sea. It might be better to check the timing of the tour and low tide before participating. I would like to join again for a revenge trip. The BBQ for lunch was very delicious!

真っ白な砂浜サンドバーをイメージして参加しましたが、干潮の時間とツアーの時間合わず、浅瀬の海という感じでした。
ツアーの時間と干潮の時間が合う時期を調べて、参加されたほうが良いかもしれませんね。
リベンジでまた参加したいと思います。
お昼のBBQは、とてもおいしかったですよ！

I had seen the ocean in Hawaii a few times, but I was truly moved to discover such a calm and beautiful place. When I got on the bus, most of the people around me were foreigners, and the explanations from the captain were all in English, which left me feeling confused, thinking, "What should I do? I can't understand!" However, there were Japanese staff members present, and they made sure that Japanese guests were seated together and provided explanations, which made me feel at ease.

The weather was a bit bad and cold, but I was able to play beach volleyball and had a great time. The hamburger for lunch was even more delicious than I expected, and the fact that they grilled the meat on the boat like a BBQ made it even tastier.

At the turtle spot, I was able to see turtles coming up for air and swimming around. There was plenty of time for snorkeling, and I could take photos with an underwater camera, which created wonderful memories.

I think I had a fun time thanks to the cheerful and kind staff, as well as the diverse group of guests from various countries participating together.

ハワイの海は何度か見ていましたが、こんなに穏やかで綺麗な場所があるなんて本当に感動しました。
バスに乗った時はまわりがほぼ外国の方でキャプテンらしき人の説明もすべて英語で『どうしよ~理解できない！』と戸惑ったけれど、きちんと日本人スタッフの方がいて船も日本人はかためて乗せて、説明もしてもらえたので安心しました。

ちょっとお天気が悪く寒かったけど、ビーチバレーもできて思いっきり楽しめました。
ランチのハンバーガーは期待以上に美味しくて、お肉を船の上でＢＢＱなみに焼いてくれてたのが美味しさ倍増でした。

ウミガメスポットでは息継ぎにあがってくるカメや泳いでるかめを見ることができました。
シュノーケルの時間もたっぷりあって、水中カメラで撮影する事も出来たのですごくいい思い出です。

スタッフが明るくて親切だったのと、いろんな国のお客さんが一緒に参加していた事で楽しい時間を過ごせたと思います。

I had heard from a friend who participated in October that it was cold and their lips turned purple, so I brought long sleeves along with a towel.

On the day of the event, there were a few clouds, but the weather was good with sunshine, and it was quite warm when the sun was out, so the water temperature didn't seem too low. However, during lunch, everyone was shivering while eating.

On the way to the sandbar, we saw several sea turtles. At the sandbar, we took commemorative photos and those who wanted to snorkel did so, but it was difficult for my 5-year-old to snorkel, so I thought one of us parents would stay on the boat with them. Just then, they brought a float with windows, and the captain helped the child onto the float and led the way, allowing the child to see fish through the float's window, which made them very happy.

As for the BBQ, I thought we would be grilling ourselves, but the food was already cooked and laid out, so it felt more like a buffet. The kalbi meat was very delicious. I was also happy to enjoy freshly made Leonard's malasadas. They let us take home any leftover food, which I thought was very good service.

My child was very excited and it was quite a handful, but the staff and other participants were all kind and interacted with the kids, so my child seemed to have a lot of fun and said they wanted to go again.

I chose the afternoon session for the BBQ, but even with a 12 PM pickup, we couldn't make good use of the morning, so I would like to participate in the morning session next time.

１０月に参加した友人から、寒くて唇が紫になったと聞いていたので、タオルの他に長袖も持参して参加しました。
当日は若干雲が出ましたが、天気が良く日差しもあり、日の出ている時は暑いくらいだったので、水温もそんなに低くなかったようです。
とはいえ、ランチの時には皆ふるえながら食べていました。

サンドバーに向かう途中、ウミガメも数匹見られました。
サンドバーでは記念撮影をしてから希望者のみシュノーケルをしましたが、５歳児にシュノーケルは難しかったので、諦めて父母どちらかが一緒に船上で待っていようかな？と思っていたら、窓のついたフロートを持ってきてくださり、キャプテンが子供を乗せてフロートを引きながら先導してくれたので、子供もフロートの窓から魚を見ることができ、大喜びしていました。

ＢＢＱはその名の通り自分達で焼くのかな？と思っていたら、もう調理済みで並んでいたので、バフェって感じでしたが、カルビ肉はとても美味しかったです。
また、揚げたてのレナーズのマラサダもいただけて嬉しかったです。
残った料理等は適当に分けて持ち帰らせてくれたし、とても良いサービスだと思いました。

子供が大はしゃぎで大変でしたが、スタッフも他の参加者の方も皆親切で、子供を相手してくれたので、子供はとても楽しかったようで、また行きたいと言っていました。

ＢＢＱ目当てで午後の部にしましたが、１２時ピックアップでも午前は有効に使えなかったので、次回は午前の部に参加してみたいと思いました。

To be honest, I was filled with anxiety about participating with my family. My child is 5 years old and can't swim, and my wife has been to Hawaii 10 times but has never been here, so I was wondering what it would be like. However, when we arrived, I was pleasantly surprised. I had done some research beforehand and learned that the tide would be lower in the afternoon, so I apologize for changing our time from morning to afternoon, but I think it was a good decision. In the shallow areas, there was hardly 10 inches of water. It truly is a heavenly sea. There is no deception. You can immerse yourself in the happiness of experiencing nature's mysteries. I believe that during a full moon, the tide completely recedes. With global warming being a concern, I’m really glad I participated to show my child this beauty. I deeply reflect on how there can be such beautiful places on Earth. World leaders should experience this. Thank you very much. I was thrilled to learn that without this tour, we wouldn't be able to get the boat this close. My child was overjoyed and thoroughly enjoyed the heavenly sea. If possible, I sincerely hope that global warming stops and that my daughter can have the same experience again when she turns 20. Thank you very much to everyone on the tour.

正直言いまして、ファミリーでの参加に不安いっぱいでした。子供は5歳で泳げないし、妻は10回ハワイに来たけど来たことがないと言うし、どんなとこだろうと思ってましたが
、来てみたらあっと驚きました。事前に調べさせていただいて、潮の干渉時間で午後の方が引いていると分かって申し訳ないのですが、午前から午後に変更させていただいて、よかったと思いますが、浅いとこで10？もありませんでした。まさに天国の海です。偽りはありません。自然の神秘と体験できる幸せに浸れます。満月時とかだと完全に潮が引くと思います。地球温暖化が騒がれて、子供に見せたくて参加して本当に良かったです。地球にこんなに美しいところがあるのかとしみじみ思います。各国首脳は体験するべきです。ほんとうにありがとうございました。ここのツアーじゃないとこんなに近くまで船を着けられないと伺って幸せが倍増しました。子供は大喜びで天国の海を満喫しておりました。できれば地球温暖化がストップして娘が20歳になって再び同じ体験ができることを節に願います。ツアーの皆さまほんとうにありがとうございました。

Overall my sister and I had a good time.

I was very disappointed with the cost of the photos. Even when the instructor tried to barter with me and cut the cost in half, it was still an outrageous price for a Cd that cost pennies to produce. If they were actual photos the price is still rediculous.

On the day of the event, I received a notification from the hotel that the meeting time had been moved up, which allowed me to wait with peace of mind. I participated in five activities, but there was no communication regarding the other activities, which often left me feeling anxious, so I was relieved to have this update. Additionally, both Ryuuichi and Akemi, who came to pick us up, were Japanese and naturally spoke Japanese, which made me feel more at ease. The boat ride took about an hour, but along the way, they explained about the house of a famous sumo wrestler and the "What Tree Is That?" tree, making the time fly by.

On the boat, we had photographers Maeda and Merry, along with two other people who joined us, and we set off. The wind was chilly that day, but I was able to rent a wetsuit for $10, so I didn't feel cold while participating. We couldn't find dolphins in the first sea, but there were plenty in the next one. It took about 1 hour and 30 minutes to find them, but the boat cut through the waves like an attraction, and we even saw whales along the way, which was a quick experience. We were lucky enough to see whales twice.

When we found the dolphins, half of the group was able to swim with them, but the other half couldn't because the dolphins had moved. However, Ryuuichi noticed this and took us back to the location where the dolphins were, allowing the remaining people to swim with them as well. I appreciate Ryuuichi's thoughtfulness! Additionally, the attention to detail from all the staff regarding meals and facilities was excellent, and although my wife couldn't swim, she was able to participate with peace of mind. The dolphins were swimming with children, and they were incredibly cute and soothing. I was also able to see the dolphins up close thanks to Merry pulling me along.

There were other tour boats out as well, but ours was faster, and we coordinated with Dolphin University via radio to find the dolphins, which I believe significantly increased our chances of seeing them, so I highly recommend it! The tour photos cost $70, but they are great keepsakes, and Maeda's photos were wonderful, so I’m glad I bought them.

当日は、集合時間が早まる、との連絡をホテルに連絡いただき、安心して待つことができました。
5つのアクティﾋﾞﾃィに参加しましたが、他のアクティﾋﾞﾃィでは連絡はなく、不安な気持ちで待つ事がおおかったので安心できました。また迎えにきていただいた龍一さんと、あけみさんの二人とも日本の方で、当然日本語を話せる方で、安心できました。ボートまでは1h位でしたが、途中に小錦の家やこの木何の木の説明をしていただき、あっという間でした。またボートでは、写真撮影する前田さんやメリーさん、他にも2名の方も合流して、ボートは出発しました。当日は風が冷たかったのですが、ウェットスーツのンタルを10ドルでできますので、寒さを感じずに参加できました。イルカは最初の海では見つからず、次の海にはたくさんいました。イルカを探すまでにおおよそ1h30mくらいかかりましたが、船がアトラクションのように波を割って進んでいき、また途中に鯨がいて、あっという間でした。鯨は2回ほどみれて、運がよかったです。イルカを見つけ、半分の方はイルカと泳げましたが、残り半分の方はイルカが移動した為、一緒にイルカと泳げませんでしたが、龍一さんがそれに気がついて、もう一度イルカのいる場所に船で移動していただき、残りのか方もイルカと一緒に泳ぐ事ができました。龍一さんの気配りに感謝です！また他にも色々と食事とか設備とかすべてのスタッフの方の気配りが行き届いていて、私の家内はおよげませんでしたが、安心して参加できました。イルカは子供と一緒に泳いでいて、非常にかわいらしく、癒されました。私もメリーさんが引っ張ってもらって、すごい身近でイルカを見る事ができました。他にもツアーの船がでていましたが、船のスピードがこちらのほうが早いのと、イルカ大学と無線で連携をとり、イルカを探すので、イルカに見れる確率が非常に高いと思われますので、お勧めです！またツアーの写真は70$しますが、思い出に残りますし、前田さんのとる写真は素晴らしいので、買ってよかったです。

Experience was TRULY AMAZING. I can't swim and have a phobia of being underwater in general but the BOB gave me the opportunity to sit on a scooter and enjoy the wonderful creation that exist under the Pacific Ocean. Price was very reasonable and the instructors were awesome!

I saw what can only be described as Hawaii on my first trip there. It truly felt like paradise and became an unforgettable memory. It's a mystical world. I highly recommend this tour!

初めてのハワイでこれぞハワイと言うものを見ました。まさに天国で一生忘れられない思い出になりました。神秘的な世界です。非常にお勧め出来るツアーですよ！

Loved the sand bar, and the Captain was kind of eccentric. Took us to turtle reef, then snorkeling. Staff was very friendly. Would recommend this adventure.

There were also two girls who were joining for the second time since coming to Hawaii.

Once you enter the sea, you are greeted by beautiful tropical fish that delight your eyes.

I could see dolphins jumping from the boat, but it was difficult to see them underwater, and I tried several times.

Thanks to the staff who diligently searched for spots where we could dive and guided us, we were able to see mother-and-baby dolphins and sea turtles.

On the boat, they played the ukulele and sang while we danced, and we had a lot of fun.

The captain was grilling hamburgers for us, but at that time, my stomach was not feeling well, so it took me quite a while to finish my meal. I felt a bit sorry as I was munching away while everyone else started dancing to the music.

All the staff, including Yuriko, were warm and friendly, and since this is an experience you can't easily have in Japan, I highly recommend it.

今回ひとりで参加しました。

ツアーに参加していた方には今回ハワイにきてから２回目の参加、という女の子２人組もいらっしゃいました。

海に入ると、まずきれいな熱帯魚がいて目を楽しませてくれます。

またイルカは飛んでいるところは船からみえたのですが、水中からはなかなか見れなくて、何度かトライしました。

スタッフの方たちも一生懸命、もぐって見られるスポットを探して誘導してくれたおかげで親子のイルカや海亀をみることができました。

また船の上では、ウクレレを弾きながら、歌を歌っていただき、わたしたちは踊り、とても楽しめました。

またパパさんが（船長）ハンバーガーを焼いてそれをいただくのですが、当時胃の調子がとても悪く、完食するのに相当時間をかけてたべたので、みんなが音楽にあわせて踊りはじめたときにも、モグモグ食べながらいたので申し訳ないな、とおもいながらすごしました。

スタッフのみなさんもゆりこさんをはじめ，温かい方たちばかりですし、なにせ日本ではなかなか体験できないのでぜひともおすすめします。

I was amazed by the white world as far as the eye could see. Hawaii is famous for surfing, so I was impressed to find such a tranquil sea. The scenery was so fantastical that I felt like I was in a commercial. The hamburger patty for lunch was grilled by the staff on the boat!!! It was not only delicious but also quite filling, which made me satisfied. The fact that non-alcoholic drinks were unlimited felt like a great deal. We snorkeled a little away from the sandbar, and I was moved to hear that the coral reef was alive. This spot had many fish, and the coral was beautiful. I swam with fins, which made it easy to move and felt great. We then changed locations to see sea turtles. My digital camera ran out of battery halfway through, so I had to use a disposable underwater camera. As the guide said, the turtles come up for air, which is quite cute!!! I was worried about whether I could capture that adorable moment, but I managed to take photos of the swimming turtles. I also saw turtles on the beach during a different tour, but since they weren't moving, it was a bit disappointing. I was excited to see swimming turtles up close for the first time.

Also, since there were many non-Japanese tourists, I really felt like I was abroad. The explanations were given in both Japanese and English. Perhaps because I received the explanation in Japanese first, I felt like I could understand the English explanation as well. That aspect was refreshing, and I had an incredibly satisfying experience. I think this tour is enjoyable for everyone, from children to the elderly!

見渡す限り、白い世界で驚きました。
ハワイはサーフィンとかが有名なので、こんなにも静かな海があるのかと感動しました。
本当に自分がCMに出演してるんじゃないかと思えるくらい幻想的な光景に酔ってしまいました。
昼食で食べるハンバーガーのハンバーグも、ボートの上でスタッフがグリルしてました!!!匂いだけじゃなく食べても美味でそこそこボリュームもあり満足。ノンアルコールドリンクなら飲み放題ってとこもお得な感じがしました。サンドバーから少し動いたところでシュノーケルをするのですが、珊瑚礁が生きているときいて感動しました。こちらのポイントは魚も多く、珊瑚礁も美しかったです。フィンを付けて泳いだので、結構進むし気持ちよかったです。またポイントを変えて、ウミガメも見に行きました。デジカメの電池が途中でなくなってしまったので、使い捨ての水中カメラでの撮影となりました。ガイドさんの言うとおり、カメは息継ぎで顔を上げるんです。ちょっと可愛いです!!!その愛らしい瞬間を写せたかどうか心配でしたが、泳いでるカメを写真に残すことができてました。違うツアーで、浜辺にいるカメも見学しましたが、動きがないので微妙でした。今回初めて泳いでいるカメを間近で見ることができたので興奮しました。
あと、ツアー客は日本人じゃない方が多かったせいか、海外に来てるって実感がありました。説明も日本語と英語と分けて行われます。最初に日本語で説明を受けているせいか、英語の説明も理解出来るような気になれました。そんなところも新鮮で良い体験が出来たと超満足しています。お子さんからお年寄りまで、誰でも楽しめるツアーだと思います♪

We could see the sea turtles swimming perfectly.

We were able to borrow a snorkeling set for kids, so we had a great time exploring underwater.

The hamburgers grilled on the boat were incredibly delicious.

My little one went back for seconds and was called a glutton.

Really neat experience! The view down below was awesome and the crew was helpful and fun. My only complaint was that it didn't last long enough - we could have stayed down all day!
