This was my first time going dolphin watching, and I had a lot of anxiety, but the dolphins came closer than I expected, and the crew shared various stories about Hawaii, which made for a fun time. During snorkeling, the crew was very accommodating to our pace and preferences, which I greatly appreciated. If I have the opportunity to come to Hawaii again, I would like to consider participating in other tours offered by Dolphin University. Thank you very much.

今回初めてのイルカウォッチングで不安も大きかったですが、思っていたよりも近くにイルカたちが来てくれたり、ハワイのことについてクルーの方たちが色々とお話ししてくださったりしたおかげで楽しい時間を過ごすことができました。シュノーケリングでも常にクルーの方がこちらのペースや希望に合わせてくださり大変ありがたかったです。次回ハワイに来る機会があればイルカ大学の他のツアーの参加も考えたいと思っています。ありがとうございました。

I had planned to see sea turtles in Okinawa before, but I couldn't, so I went to Hawaii for a second chance. I was able to see them successfully. One turtle came up to the surface, and about four were gathered at the bottom.

The explanations are given in English, but they also use gestures, so even if you're not good at English, you can understand the atmosphere.

Also, I personally didn't get seasick, but the water can be quite choppy during the boat ride and activities, so I recommend bringing motion sickness medication if you're worried about getting seasick. It can also be surprisingly cold.

I highly recommend it! It was a wonderful experience!

以前沖縄でウミガメを見ようと思ったのですが、その時は見られずハワイでリベンジ。無事見ることができました。1匹水面に上がって来ていたのと、4匹ぐらい底に固まっていました。

説明は英語で行われますが、ジェスチャー交えて説明してもらえるので、英語が得意でなくとも雰囲気でなんとなくわかります。

あと私は特に酔わなかったのですが、船やアクティビティ中の水面は結構波打つので、船酔いが心配な方は酔い止めを持っていくことをお勧めします。それと意外と寒いです。

おすすめです！素晴らしい体験になりました！

It was my first time seeing dolphins up close like this. It felt like I was swimming alongside the dolphins with the Dolphin University boat, and I was able to be with them for a long time.

With the support of Minako, I was able to snorkel safely. I gradually got used to it and was able to move around on my own. Luckily, I also got to see a sea turtle, and I was able to experience everything.

My husband was a bit flustered during his first snorkeling experience and couldn't see the fish or the sea turtle, but he received constant support, so he wants to try again.

The slide afterward was intense and fun, but you have to be careful when sliding, or you'll end up swallowing seawater. I felt a bit seasick a few times when the boat moved quickly, but they kindly checked on me.

If I go snorkeling again, I think I'll choose Dolphin University.

こんなに間近でイルカを見ることができたのは初めてでした。イルカ大学の船と一緒に泳いでくれているようで、ずっとイルカと一緒にいられました。
シュノーケリングはMINAKOさんのサポートのもとで、安心して泳ぐことができました。少しずつ慣れていき、自分でも移動ができるようになりました。運良くウミガメを見ることもできて、全ての体験をすることができました。
夫は初めてのシュノーケリングで慌ててしまい魚もウミガメも見ることができませんでしたが、ずっとサポートしてくださったので、またリベンジしたいと言っています。
その後の滑り台も激しくて面白かったですが、滑る時に注意しないと海水を飲みます。
何度か船が速く移動する時の揺れで船酔いをしましたが、優しく声をかけてくださいました。
またシュノーケリングをやるならイルカ大学にしようと思います。

I was a bit anxious about snorkeling after a long time, but since there was a Japanese guide, I felt at ease participating. The arrangements were also good. I was able to see many fish, and it was a wonderful experience.

ひさしぶりのシュノーケリングで不安がありましたが、日本語ガイドさんでしたので安心して参加できました。段取りもよかったです。たくさんのお魚を見れて素晴らしい体験をさせていただきました。

The staff were friendly and very kind. They thoroughly explained how to use the snorkeling gear in advance, and after putting on life jackets, we were guided to deeper areas with coral reefs after getting accustomed in the shallow waters, while being closely monitored.

At the boundary of the shallow area, beautiful fish and sea turtles were swimming nearby, making for a very enjoyable time. After that, we played on the boards, and the parents seemed to have more fun than the kids. The weather was a bit disappointing with clouds, but my family didn't mind as it reduced the worry about sunburn.

スタッフの方は気さくでとても親切でした。シュノーケルの使い方など事前にしっかり説明されライフジャケットをつけて浅瀬で慣れてから珊瑚礁のある深めの所に誘導されましたがしっかり見守りもされていました。
浅瀬との境界で綺麗な魚や海がめが側で泳いでいてとても楽しい時間でした。
その後はボード遊びをして子供より親が楽しんでいました。天気は雲でやや残念でしたが日焼けの心配が減ったと家族は気にしていませんでした。

I participated with my child (5th grade). It was our first experience with banana boat, stand-up paddleboarding, kayaking, and snorkeling, but the water depth was safe enough for adults to stand, so we enjoyed it safely.

子供（小5）と参加しました。バナナボート、Sup、カヤック、シュノーケル、全て初めての体験でしたが、大人の足が届く水深なので安全に楽しめました。

Although I didn't go until the tide was low enough to see the sandy beach, the weather was great and the view was amazing. The fact that the staff seemed to be enjoying themselves might be the biggest reason I felt relaxed. They served popular spam musubi, snacks, miso soup, cocoa, macadamia-flavored coffee, cola, Sprite, ginger ale, and guava juice (which I love because it makes me feel like I'm in Hawaii), along with Doritos, potato chips, and apples. It's good to have light snacks like this since overeating can make you feel queasy while snorkeling. While snorkeling, I was surprised to see sea turtles on the bottom and quite large fish (maybe a yellowtail?) swimming just below me, which was a great experience. The underwater scenery might have more small and beautiful fish like in Miyako Island, but the view of the sandbar sharply divided into two colors is unique to this place, so I'm satisfied.

干潮で砂浜が見えるまでは行かなかったものの、天気が良くて最高の景色でした。スタッフさんが楽しんでるのが一番こちらがリラックスできる理由かもしれません。人気のいやむすびのスパム握りとお菓子、味噌汁やココア、マカダミアフレーバーコーヒー、コーラ、スプライト、ジンジャーエール、グァバ缶ジュース（ハワイに来た感じがして私はこれが好き）ドリトス、ポテチ、りんごなどが出されます。食べすぎるとシュノーケルで酔ったりするのでこれくらいの軽食でいいです。シュノーケルではウミガメが底に見えたり、結構でかい魚（鰤ぐらい？）がすぐ下を通り驚きますがいい経験です。海の中は宮古島とかの方が小さくて綺麗な魚が多いかもしれませんが、二色にきっぱり分かれるサンドバーの景色はここしかないので満足です。

The weather was great, and it was amazing to see so many honu (sea turtles) 😀. The staff were all very kind, and I will participate again.

I chose the plan with the banana boat. With about two and a half hours of activity time, I was wondering if it might be too much for just two adults before we started, but that was definitely not the case. We were able to enjoy activities for the entire duration! Especially during snorkeling, I was amazed to see so many fish gathering right in front of me, attracted by the food provided by the staff.

バナナボート付きのプランにしました。2時間半ほどの活動時間で、始まる前は大人二人には持て余すかな…？と思いましたが全然そんなことはありませんでした。時間いっぱいアクティビティを楽しむことができました！特にシュノーケルでは、スタッフさんにいただいた餌を目当てにたくさんの魚たちが目の前に集まってくれて感動しました。

The guide and his wife were very kind, and we always had a great time. We decided to go based on the reviews, and it was even better than we expected. During the car rides to and from the location, we asked various questions and learned a lot about the area, making the travel time and activities enjoyable throughout.

The view of the entire bay was very beautiful and moving.

I made the best memories with my grandchild. We experienced snorkeling, stand-up paddleboarding, and swimming in the ocean, which we can't do in Japan.

We walked to the launch spot from the Hilton Hawaiian Village. Met the friendly crew and we took off on such a fun sail. Saw beautiful fish and a turtle at turtle canyon, then sailed around the bay. My teens had a blast. Bring a drink to enjoy after snorkeling!

I was able to see dolphins! They felt further away than I expected, but the staff who spoke Japanese supported us, so even if you don't speak English, you can enjoy it with peace of mind. It gets a bit strict when chasing the dolphins because it's dangerous, but they are very kind on the boat. However, I purchased the photos taken on the day, and there were not many of them. I was told that if you ask, they will take more, so if you plan to buy, feel free to promote yourself!

イルカ見れました！思っていたより遠い感じでしたが日本語ができるスタッフが一緒にサポートしてくれて英語ができなくても安心して楽しめます。イルカを追いかける時は危ないので少し厳しめになりますが船の上ではとても優しいです。ただ当日写真撮影をしてくれ購入しましたが写真の枚数は少なかったです。アピールすれば撮ってくれるとのことでしたので、購入予定の場合はドンドン自分からPRをどうぞ！

Boat was awesome. Full bar. Staff was fun and informative. We drove deep into the ocean to make sure we got to dive near all the fish and turtles. We saw tons. I got some exercise in as well! Water was blue and the sun was out. Perfect day for snorkeling! Was family friendly as well. Would recommend!

Nice short ride out to the sandbar. At high tide volleyball net was mostly under water. Life jackets and balls to throw readily available. Great staff.

I was only anxious about my English, but there were explanations in Japanese on the bus, so there were no problems. We were able to enter Hanauma Bay first thing in the morning. The entrance fee was paid by a representative from the foreign passengers on the same bus. I was happy to see wild sea lions. Diving allowed us to see fish, which was overwhelming. This is the best memory of Hawaii for my 11-year-old daughter and me. Since the meeting time is at 12:30, we were able to stay for a long time, so I recommend it.

英語に不安しかありませんでしたが、車内での説明案内文も日本語のがあり、問題ありませんでした。
ハナウマ湾に朝一入場出来ました。
入場は同じバスに乗った外国人の方が代表で支払う形でした。
野生のアシカも見れて嬉しかったです。
潜れば魚も見れて感無量です。
11歳の娘、私共にハワイのベスト思い出です。
12:30集合なので長時間滞在出来るので、オススメです。

We had a great time paddleboarding and snorkeling while watching sea turtles. The time flew by! Our guide was attentive to ensure everyone could enjoy safely, so the whole family had a blast. The scenery was also amazing, making the experience even more memorable.

SUPで遊んだり、海がめをみながらシュノーケリングしたり、あっという間の時間でした。
安全に誰も楽しめるようにガイドさんが気を配ってくれているので、家族全員楽しめました。景色も最高であっという間の時間でした。

I was grateful that they offered tours on weekends! I can't speak Japanese, but the guide was kind, so it wasn't a problem. They rent out bulky snorkeling sets, so you can enjoy yourself with just the essentials like swimwear and drinks!

かさばるシュノーケリングセットをレンタルしてくれるので、水着や飲み物といった最低限の荷物だけで楽しめます！

We headed to a spot off the coast of Waikiki where other tour participants gathered, cutting through the wind on the yacht. It took about 15 minutes to reach the spot. The staff signaled when they found a place where sea turtles were present. We were able to encounter four sea turtles among the tropical fish, creating wonderful memories. I was a bit anxious since I'm not used to swimming in the ocean, but there were seniors and families participating as well, and the staff was watching over us, so I felt safe joining in.

ヨットで風をきりながら、他のツアー参加者も集うワイキキの沖合のスポットに向かいます。ヨットで約15分くらいで、スポットに到着します。スタッフはウミガメがいる場所を見つけたら、その場所を合図してくれました。熱帯魚にまじって、ウミガメ４匹と出会うことができ、良い思い出になりました。普段海で泳ぎ慣れていないので、不安がありましたが、シニアの方や親子連れも参加しており、スタッフも見守っているので安心して参加できました。

I was able to see sea turtles in the beautiful ocean. I had a great time playing with the SUP and felt fulfilled. There was a temporary shower, but it didn't bother me, and I enjoyed myself. The crew members were also kind and fun people.

綺麗な海でウミガメにも会えました。ｓｕｐで楽しく遊べて充実して過ごしました。一時的にシャワーが来ましたが、気にもならず楽しめた。クルーの方達も親切で楽しいかた達でした。

I participated in this tour because it departs from Waikiki Beach, making it convenient and time-efficient. Although I don't understand much English, I received a Japanese notice after departure. I was able to see dolphins in the distance and multiple sea turtles. The sea turtles up close are very cute! The view of Diamond Head from the sea while sailing was also wonderful! I was lucky to be with a Japanese person who spoke English, so I got help with things I didn't understand. The staff were all friendly, and I had a great experience.

ワイキキビーチ沿いからの出航で、時間的にもロスがなく便利なのでこのツアーに参加しました。
英語はあまりわからないですが、出航後 日本語表記の注意書きを渡されます。
遠くでイルカも見えて、ウミガメも複数見ることが出来ました。近くで見るウミガメはとても可愛いです！
セーリングで海から見るダイヤモンドヘッドも素晴らしかったです！
たまたま英語を話される日本の方とご一緒出来たので解らないところは助けて貰えてラッキーでした。
スタッフも皆さんフレンドリーで楽しい体験が出来ました。

The windy weather and the current combined to make the water not very clear. The guys were great. We saw lots of fish, but the reef is blah. I’d recommend it but it is not the best snorkeling ever.

I participated on the second day in Hawaii. A sister who is fluent in Japanese explained everything in a fun way with jokes. First, we played beach volleyball in the shallow water and took photos. After that, we had grilled meat on the boat, which was like a hamburger, and then we went snorkeling. I got to see coral and cute fish, and it was an amazing experience. I highly recommend it!

ハワイ２日目に参加しました。
日本語堪能なお姉さんが冗談交えて楽しく説明してくれ、まずは浅瀬の所でビーチバレーしたり、写真とったり。
その後船上で焼いてくれた肉をハサミハンバーガーをたべ、それからシュノーケリングへ。
サンゴやかわいい魚がみれてすごい堪能しました。
オススメです！

I participated in the tour hoping for a guide who could speak Japanese since I was with my 10-year-old child who doesn't understand English. Thanks to Dan, who is very fluent in Japanese, and Chieko, a Japanese guide with extensive experience in Hawaii, we had an amazing time!

My son, who had been avoiding the ocean since he got very seasick in Okinawa, was also very satisfied. If there's another opportunity, I would love to join another tour with both of them! ^_^

英語を解さない10歳児連れだったため、日本語が通じるガイドさんを希望して参加しました。日本語がとっても堪能なダンさんとハワイ歴の長い日本人のちえこさんのガイドのおかげで最高に楽しめました！

以前沖縄の海で酷く酔って以来海を敬遠していた息子も大満足。またチャンスがあったらお二人のガイドツアーに参加したいです^_^

We had the most fun on the Kaneohe Sandbar Tour. We snorkeled, kayaked, played in the water, & had the best time!!! The staff was so helpful & wonderful. I highly recommend doing this. It was one of my favorite parts of our trip!

It was a very valuable experience. The scenery was especially wonderful, and I was happy to encounter many sea turtles on the way to the sandbar. Also, the guide was very kind and gentle, and there was someone who spoke Japanese, so I was able to enjoy it with peace of mind. The spam musubi we had on the boat was very delicious!

We had a great time ! Well organized and a lot of fun on the sandbar.

Shortly after arriving offshore, we encountered a type of dolphin called the false killer whale. They are very large dolphins, and I will never forget the sight of a family swimming towards us in the water. They passed by us once, but then returned nearby, and the mother and child began to play, going up and down vertically at the surface. We were able to watch them closely for a long time. Later, our guide told us that the father dolphin had come to scout us out first and check us out. Once he gave the OK, the mother and child continued to play nearby.

At the shallow snorkeling spot we moved to afterward, we saw fish below and slowly swimming sea turtles (honu). The honu occasionally came up to the surface to breathe, poking their heads out, which was very adorable.

Finally, a pod of spinner dolphins appeared, showing their twin dorsal fins at the surface, and some even spun around, which was very cute. There were probably around 50 of them. I was surprised to hear that they are nocturnal and that during the day, half of their brains are asleep, allowing them to swim almost while sleeping.

Our Japanese guide, who was also our driver and joined us in the water, shared information about the types and behaviors of the dolphins, which was very nice! His name was Ryuichi. The main guide was a cool woman named Brooke, who dove deep like a mermaid and took a lot of videos for us. The captain told us, "Now! Jump into the sea!" and we splashed in, floating on the surface. When we looked down, dolphins were swimming by and turtles were gliding around...

Our family borrowed wetsuits, but since no other participants from Europe or America were wearing them, we found it quite warm before entering the water. With a large bath towel, we probably wouldn't have needed them at all.

沖に到着して間もなく、コビレゴンドウと言う種類のイルカに出会えました。
とても大きなイルカで、水の中でファミリーが並んでこちらへ向かってくる姿は忘れられません。一度通り過ぎましたが、その後近くに戻ってきて、親子が水面へ垂直に上がったり下がったりして遊び始め、その姿をずーーと傍で見ることが出来ました。後でガイドさんのお話で、最初にお父さんイルカが偵察に来て私たちをチェックしていたのだとか。お父さんのOKが出て、お母さんと子供が近くで遊び続けていたのだそうです。
その後移動した浅瀬のシュノーケルスポットでは、下にお魚と、ゆっっくり泳ぐウミガメ（ホヌ）達が。ホヌは時々息をしに海面へあがってきてぽこっと頭を出します。それがとても愛らしい。
最後はスピナードルフィンの群れが現れ、海面にツインで背びれを見せて、時々スピンする子もいてとてもかわいい。多分50匹くらいはいそうでした。夜行性だそうで、昼間は脳の半分は寝ていてほぼ寝ながら泳いでいると聞いて驚きました。これで寝ているなんて・・・。日本人ガイドの方（ドライバー兼海にも一緒に入ります）がイルカの種類や習性なども教えてくれたのが、とても良かったです！龍一さんという方でした。
メインのガイドはブルックという格好良い女性で、人魚のように深く潜って行ったり、動画を沢山撮ってきてくれました。私たちは船長に「今だ！海へ入れ！」と言われ、ジャブンとして水面でプカプカ浮いて、「下見て！！」と言わ、顔をつけて見ていると、ちょうどイルカが通って行ったり、カメが泳いでいたり･･･。

私たち家族は一応、ウエットスーツを借りましたが（他の欧米参加者で借りている人はなし）海に入るまでは逆に暑いくらいで、大きなバスタオルがあれば、確かに要らなかったかなという感じでした。
