Although the visibility of the sea wasn't great due to the rain the day before, the emerald green and cobalt blue waters sparkling in the sunlight were truly beautiful. We encountered many sea turtles, and my husband even had moments where he swam close enough to them while being careful not to touch! Our guide, Yukiko, was also impressive just to watch, and she is a big reason why I want to join this tour again and meet her!

The day of participation was unfortunately marked by cloudy skies and intermittent rain, but when the sun peeked through for a moment, it was absolutely beautiful! We played beach volleyball, and even though we couldn't communicate with people from other countries, it felt like we connected through sports, making it a really enjoyable time! The hamburger we had for lunch was also incredibly delicious! We were able to see a lot of fish while snorkeling! I think it would be stunning on a sunny day, so I would love to participate again!

Choosing a tour with a Japanese guide for my first visit to Hanauma Bay was the right decision! Although the waves were high that day, I was able to see colorful fish of shapes I had never seen before, huge fish, and even sea turtles up close! I don't think I would have been able to swim that far on my own. Additionally, I received proper instruction on how to wear the mask, clear water from it, maintain posture, and stand in the water, which allowed my husband, who isn't a strong swimmer, to enjoy the experience until the end without worry! Thanks to our guide, Fumio, I truly appreciate it!!

We were picked up from the hotel and after a short drive, we boarded the cruiser at the port and headed to the sandbar. There was a lovely Japanese woman among the staff, which made me feel completely at ease. All the staff were friendly and attentive. The tide wasn't too low, and the water was up to my waist, so it didn't quite feel like a sandbar, but the stunning scenery more than made up for it! We saw several sea turtles floating around. While enjoying delicious hamburgers for lunch, we moved to a different spot where we could leisurely snorkel and see beautiful fish living around the large coral reef. It was truly an enjoyable tour. I recommended it to acquaintances going to Hawaii!

I was looking forward to Sandbar, but at the time close to high tide, the sand wasn't exposed, and it was just a shallow area with splashing. Since it was shallow, there were no fish at all. Well, I did choose to depart a bit later in the morning.

In the afternoon snorkeling, we swam around the coral reef, but the fish were just average to sparse. The water clarity was low, but the coral was magnificent.

The cruise guide, Yumiko, was very enjoyable and considerate, and the hamburger for lunch was delicious, creating a very nice atmosphere.

I participated with four friends. Three of them are not very good at snorkeling, but they enjoyed it nonetheless.

I joined the sandbar tour about eight years ago, but this time there was no sandy area in sight at all. Being 160 cm tall, the water level was almost up to my waist. It might have been high tide, but it felt just like a regular sea.

Still, I was able to see a lot of sea turtles, which I was very satisfied with. I also felt that it would have been better if there had been an explanation of the snorkeling masks and other equipment on the boat rather than after entering the water.

友人4人で参加しました。3人はシュノーケリングが得意ではありませんが、それなりに満喫しておりました。

I participated with my daughter. The staff members were very kind and fun people. We were able to go to places we couldn't reach on our own and met many turtles, even swimming with them! It was a wonderful tour. However... I am very prone to seasickness, and I forgot to bring motion sickness medication to the hotel (tears), so I wasted half of the tour (free time) unable to do anything. I am really disappointed about that. I truly think the tour itself, including the staff, was absolutely amazing! I plan to take revenge next time (^o^)/

The sandbar was beautiful even without the sand. It seems to depend on the weather, so it really is a matter of luck. The staff were very accommodating, and they took photos for us. The hamburgers grilled on the boat were delicious, and I enjoyed snorkeling for the first time without any worries. We scattered bread for the fish, so we got to see a lot of tropical fish, which made for a happy time.

July 1, 2019 - Raymond was the best guide ever! He's very chill and easy to communicate with. He was very accommodating! we choose the later tour which I expected it to be much worse than the earlier scheduled tour, however we ended up being extremely lucky and it ended up being just me and my girlfriend. We had our own private tour with the best guide they had to offer! I would recommend this trip to everyone, very family friendly but also a nice thing to do for couples. My girlfriend really wanted to see some Green sea turtles and Raymond was able to make it happen! Once he spotted one, he immediately alerted us to come view the turtles. Definitely something to put in your books if you plan on heading down to Oahu. One thing to keep in mind is ALWAYS WEAR SUNSCREEN...ITS ALWAYS worth it.

The site mentioned it was about 1.5 feet, but in reality, the depth where we got off the boat was 130 cm, and in shallow areas, it was around 80 cm. The weather was nice, so the scenery was beautiful!

We were able to see sea turtles about three times, and the kids were thrilled.

The snorkeling experience was as expected, but since it was our first time, I felt reassured by the staff's safety-first attitude.

For those who didn't participate in snorkeling, we had some playtime with the equipment, and thanks to the small number of kids, my child (5 years old, who can float but can't swim) was able to snorkel near the boat. One of the staff members spoke Japanese, and everyone was friendly, making it a fun experience.

I managed without marine shoes, but since Waikiki Beach has quite a few painful stones, I thought it would have been better to buy them for the entire stay in Hawaii.

スタッフの方は日本語ができる方が1名はおり、皆さんフレンドリーで楽しく過ごせました。

マリンシューズは無くても何とかなりましたが、ワイキキビーチも結構石が痛いのでハワイ滞在全体を通して買えば良かったと思いました。

I had to wait to board the boat, but during that time, I was able to go to the restroom. It was cloudy at departure, but once we got out to sea, the weather turned nice, which was great. When we arrived at the sandbar, the water was up to my waist, but we had fun playing beach volleyball, and afterwards, we enjoyed delicious hamburgers! It was the best! Everything except alcohol was free, and there were many options, so it might be good for kids as well. After that, we moved on to look for turtles, and luckily, we even saw a manta ray by chance. We participated as a couple. Thanks to Chieko and Dan, we had a wonderful time. Swimming over the coral reef, there were fish right in front of us, and it felt like we were swimming together. The explanation for snorkeling was easy to understand, so we could swim with peace of mind. Unfortunately, we didn't get to see any sea turtles, but we were pleasantly surprised to meet two seals. It might have been because of the rain, but I felt like, "Where's the sandbar???" There was no white sandy beach anywhere, the sea was murky, and the scenery was the worst.

I participated because I wanted to see the honu. I was able to see the honu within 1 meter, and I also saw many beautiful fish up close, which was great for the kids as well. I think it was a good decision to join this tour, as I wouldn't have seen them without the guide. It was 32 degrees in June and sunny, but surprisingly the seawater was quite cold, and I felt chilly when I got out. Also, the distance between the seawater and the rocks was narrow, and I scraped my knees. I recommend that participants borrow a wetsuit. I was happy that Fumio took many photos of us while snorkeling, including pictures of the fish and honu. Since there is quite a bit of swimming involved, I recommend having breakfast before participating. It was a lot of fun.

ホヌを見たくて参加しました。1m以内にホヌを見れ、またきれいなお魚も間近で沢山見れ、子ども達も大歓迎。ガイドさんなしでは見れなかったと思うとこのツアーにしてよかったです。6月気温32度晴れでしたが海水が意外と冷たく、上がった時は寒くて…また海水と岩の距離が狭く膝をすりむきました。参加される方はスーツを借りることをお勧めします。fumioさんがシュノーケル中や魚やホヌなどの写真を沢山撮ってくださり嬉しかったです。結構泳ぐので朝食を食べてからの参加をお勧めします。とても楽しかったです。

It seems that a sandy beach forms in the middle of the sea due to the tides, but when I participated, the water was already up to my waist, so I couldn't walk on the beach.

I went snorkeling to see turtles and fish in deeper areas, but I gave up halfway. I was thinking, "Oh, I wanted to see them..." when the staff called a turtle over (was it their pet? lol), and I was able to swim with the turtle in shallower water! So, don't worry if you can't snorkel... it's not a big deal!

After that, we played on stand-up paddleboards and had a BBQ lunch on the boat! The food was really delicious!! The staff were bright and funny people! I wish I had given them a tip (;^_^A.

満ち引きによって海の真ん中に砂浜ができるみたいなのですが、私が参加したときはもう腰くらいまで海水があって砂浜を歩くことはできませんでした。

シュノーケルで深いところまで行ってカメや魚を見るのですが、私は途中までいって断念。あーあ、見たかったなー・・・と思っていたらスタッフさんがカメを呼んでくれて（スタッフさんのペット？笑）浅いところでもカメと泳ぐことができました！
ですからシュノーケルできないし・・・と残念に思わなくて大丈夫です！
そのあとはスタンドアップボードで遊んだり、船の上でBBQランチ！
料理がとてもおいしかったです！！
スタッフさんも明るくて面白い方でした！チップ渡せばよかった(;^_^A
