I had no experience with surfing, but I participated with the feeling that it would be cool to surf in Hawaii. I can't speak English, but I think I was able to prepare the minimum necessary because the staff explained the precautions in Japanese during the video before the lesson. I could somewhat understand the lesson through English words. There were 8 of us with 2 instructors, but 4 of us were able to ride the waves right away, so it was effectively 1 instructor for every 2 people. My own performance wasn't great, but I had fun playing in the waves.

Also, when my sandals broke on the way back from the beach, I walked barefoot on the scorching asphalt while pulling the boat, and I will never forget how Ms. Mieko ran to meet me with her own sandals.

I participated alone on short notice this time. Mieko, who was in charge, explained how to ride the SUP very clearly and took a lot of photos, so I was able to relax and enjoy myself! Although the waves were strong and we couldn't go out to sea that day, going down the river was a great choice! I enjoyed SUP while chatting slowly among the lush greenery and trees bearing various fruits. The lunch was also amazing; the pizza was delicious. In the afternoon, I rented a bike and went to Lanikai Beach to play in the ocean. It was a very fulfilling day! Thank you, Mieko! I want to go again next time when the sea is calm!

I was invited to a wedding in Honolulu and the bride and I were looking at a few activities for us to do while there. I saw the video for the BOB and we immediately wanted to do it. We made reservation for the 4 of us. I’m not a swimmer and haven’t been since high school. The staff was so professional and caring. I love their motto of “we treat everyone as non swimmers...” Their patience is great with all participants. Very knowledgeable about their equipment, their staff and the environment. Each staff played their part in our safety and the for the fish and turtles! And the fact they not only take pictures, they give you memorable videos. I had wanted to try SUP for a long time, so my husband and I participated together. I was a bit anxious because we hardly exercise and I was worried about whether I could keep up with the instructor, Emiko, based on the reviews I read.

On the day of the event, it was quite windy, and we paddled while sitting to a nearby island, which took about 40 minutes. On the way back, I was able to stand on the board. I fell into the sea several times, but in the end, I managed to stand on the board and ride the waves all the way to the sandy beach.

In the end!! I was tired, but it was incredibly fun.

There were three participants that day, and two instructors accompanied us.
- The veteran instructor, Emiko, taught us strictly yet kindly. She had a big sister vibe that made her easy to approach, and I really liked her.
- Tomoki was super handsome and kind, and when I had trouble on the water, he gave me precise advice.

I thought I wouldn't be able to stand on the board, but by following their advice, I was able to do it in the end. I felt a sense of accomplishment that I hadn't felt in a while, and it was amazing.

During the free time in the morning, I rented a bike and took out pancakes from Boots & Kimo's to enjoy at Lanikai Beach. Cycling was also fun.

・ベテランインストラクターのエミコさんは厳しく&やさしく教えてくれました。姉御という感じで接しやすく大好きになりました。
・ともきさんはめちゃくちゃイケメンで、優しくて、海の上で困ったときも的確なアドレスをくれました。

ボードの上で立てないかと思いましたが、二人のアドバイスに従って最後には立つことが出来ました。
久々に達成感が得られ、最高に気持ちよかったです。

午前中の自由時間で自転車をかりてブーツアンドキモズでパンケーキをテイクアウトラニカイビーチにいきました。サイクリングも楽しかったです。

It was still a bit chilly in the morning, so after getting splashed in the sea, I felt a little cold. The foreign girl whose birthday it was that day was getting dunked in the water as a special treat, so by the time she returned to the boat, she was shivering (laughs). That must have become a good memory for her too (*^_^*). I’ve definitely decided to participate again next time!

I was nervous before taking off, but once we were in the air, it was so much fun, and the view of the blue ocean, Diamond Head, and Waikiki was incredible!!! I put my smartphone in a waterproof case and hung it around my neck, and I was able to take photos while flying!

写真の撮影はスタッフに言っておかないとしてくれない様子でした。ボートで沖に出て、他のお客さん飛ばしてる時に言ったら、カメラ取り出して撮り始めてくれました。結果7,80枚くらい写真撮ってくれました。帰ったら一応カメラで中のデータ確認してSDカードで貰いました。ちなみに30ドルでした。とても良い思い出ができて満足です。

アクティビティ自体の注意点としては船の揺れが結構激しく乗っていた他の人達が半分以上酔っていたので弱い人は酔止めを飲んで行ったほうがいいです
星を一個下げた理由ですが迎えのバスが15分程遅れて来たことで下げました
他の方の送迎の関係もあり仕方ない気もしますが、体験談で迎えに来なかったという話も見ていましたのでかなり不安になりました
ですが運転手さんも気さくな方で印象はとても良かったです
