When I said my name at the reception booth, the boat hadn't returned yet, so I waited a little. I got a sticker on my arm or watch, signed a safety waiver, and boarded the boat. At this time of year, there are no people wearing masks, but since we were on the sea, it didn't bother me.
People on the boat took turns soaring into the sky, and I was asked if I wanted to take photos for an additional $200, but I didn't since I had a GoPro.
I enjoyed the endless sky and sea, and the experience of speeding back with a water landing service was fantastic.
As a note, you need to have $20 in cash for tips.

My boyfriend and I purchased the kayak/snorkeling experience and it was quite the memory! Everyone was great helping us get set up and guiding us! When we went out and kayaked we saw so many different fishes during our snorkeling adventure! The crazy part was that it started raining while we were far out and snorkeling. Instead of kayaking back we continued to snorkel until the rain stopped! For the price and experience it was totally worth it!

Also I recommend purchasing the 4 hour experience because I don’t think you will be out for the whole 8 hours even tho it costs just a little bit more! We were our a max of 2 hours!

If you’re wondering on whether or not to purchase think no more! Overall it was an amazing experience and I highly recommend it! Also booking this package will prepare you for everything vs booking on the actual business site since this package has a dry bag, snorkeling gear, and the anchor (this will keep your kayak in place while you’re snorkeling). Hope this helps and you make great memories from this experience!

Awesome experience, would absolutely recommend. The surf was a little rough and the boats were running behind schedule, but the office was willing to accommodate me and put me on an earlier boat so I didn’t have to wait. The crew was amazing and made the experience memorable. They offer photos for a reasonable price so you can just focus on enjoying your time.

Satisfying!!!

The place is really nice and the boat is clean and safe. The staff are very accommodating and friendly, they gave us detailed instructions and safety reminders. They guided us until we completed our activities.
Me and my 3 girls get there 15 minutes before 9am (few minutes window for us to get the free parking spot and signed the waiver forms).
We reserved the morning all in package and it was satisfying and activities are worth the price.We purchased food at General Store and Deli which is next to the boat docking area. We waited for 4 more groups and the boat moved forward at 9:30am. The live music entertainers were great and they sang really well and made us felt comfortable through out our entire stay. (They have jars for the cash tips so bring some for them coz they deserved it).
The rest of the water activity crews were all friendly and remindful, specially Shyla. She made us felt satisfied with our banana boat and water tubing (flat float). (Follow her advises). Snorkeling was great and found different kinds of fishes. (Be careful not to get hurt from the corals, wear appropriate attire for protection). The kayak and paddle boat crews are very nice, they kept eye on everyone’s safety. We played volleyball but a bit windy so pick the good weather. There were water, orange juice and donuts with 3 different flavors and you can bring your own food and drinks (no glass containers or bottles allowed). It was fun and unforgettable. Thank you!

Beautiful Reef, very windy day

First off, the day turned out to be very windy and a little rainy and therefore want the best kayaking weather, but they did offer us a refund or reschedule. It was out last day and we didn’t have anything better to do so we stayed.
The guys getting our kayak and gear gave us some information about where to go and a little about the kayaks (hope to anchor them, out the heaviest in back), but nothing really about paddling or steering especially in the windy conditions. We had some idea, so it wasn’t too bad, but a little more direction would have been helpful.
Once on the water, it was choppy and a hard kayak, but we pushed through. It was hard to anchor in the sand because we had two anchors for three kayaks and the wind was too strong. We ended up tying all three to the two anchors and that worked. The spot was great to snorkel in (We went to horseshoe bend? It was the spot recommended for snorkeling). The coral was beautiful and on a clearer day would be gorgeous. There were fish, but it was harder to get close up to see them with life jackets on. We did see a giant fish and a huge turtle walk right under me. It was pretty cool.
A little more guidance on the kayaks and ensuring everyone has tips on paddling in currents and waves and’s provide defogger for the snorkeling and it would be great. Thank you!

This would be an amazing thing to do weather providing!!

The day we booked was overcast and windy, when we arrive there was a bulletin board with things to know noting you would not see the sandbar clearly that day. We checked in wnd the lady had told the people behind us who asked to rent kayaks that the water was quite rough and that if you are begginers it’s probably not a good day to go out. We were worried as beginners then… the water was so rough we got about 20 mins out and the wind was blowing us all over the place and every wave we hit felt like we were going to flip the kayak. We decided it was not safe and decided to go back. They wouldn’t even refund us considering the weather conditions so it was a complete waste of money unfortunately. If they would of let us switch dates we would of been happy to do that but they don’t allow you cancel unless they decide the weather isn’t good enough. Was super disappointing.

20/10 reccomend!! Great music and the crew was so friendly. Signed up for the tube and it was so fun that we decided to sign up for the banana boat too. Another passenger had a health condition and they were so accommodating to her. Went with just the boyfriend and no kids, but they’re super accomadating to families with littles too. It’s a must go!

Disappointing

We chose this company due to the reviews, but unfortunately we were disappointed with the reality. The guy checking us in was fine, but very serious and not really friendly. The weather was pretty windy, so the conditions were not easy. However we were given no guidance from the staff on how to deal with this, or any tips. When we asked where we should aim for to reach the sandbar, we had the very unhelpful advice of 'its kind of where that yacht is now, so head for that'. Bearing in mind the yacht was moving! It would really have helped to have some clear markers or something to aim for, especially when wind and tides are taking you in the opposite direction! We got lots of don't go here or here' but not much else.
While the sandbar is around 1.5 miles out, so not too far, it really required knowing what you are doing, and some real strength to cope with strong winds and currents to reach it. Otherwise it could have been very dangerous. The sandbar was really interesting to see when we got there, but the strong winds bashed the kayak around so much we couldn't stay too long. Obviously that's not this company's fault though. Overall it wasn't what I expected and a bit disappointing unfortunately.

We booked the afternoon ride and had an awesome time. The crew is great. They are very friendly and helpful and have such amazing attitude. The guys playing music are good too. The lunch sandwich was good, I loved the salad. The boat has changing rooms and restrooms! First time snorkeling and very much enjoyed this time with my kids. Its about 4ft deep.. Would do it again. Leave tips!

We had a wonderful time and we enjoyed all the activities at the Kaneohe Sandbar. We did the paddle board, kayak and snorkel with breathtaking views. The live music was so relaxing during the boat ride. Thanks to the captain, crew and singers who were all so friendly and amazing! Adventurous Experience!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our experience kayaking to the sandbar! It was easy to follow the instructions and the map to get to our destination. It is quite tiring, but the view is breathtaking. We did start our kayaking adventure around 9am, so those that had an earlier reservation at 8am were already at the sandbar, so we were on the lookout for the bright yellow kayaks when making our way there, but I can definitely see some getting lost if they went early in the gloomy morning. Weather conditions do vary on how visible and shallow the sandbar is, but we were lucky to get to see the sandbar exposed!

I'm a local resident and this was my first time at the Kaneohe sandbar. This experience was amazing! I wanted to do something that my roommate & I haven't done for her birthday. I recommend getting the package to ride the banana boat & the bumper ride! Also it's BYOB, bring snacks, food, & change of clothes because they have restrooms/changing rooms on the boat. I will definitely will be booking again with my friends!!

Late April 2022 Outrigger Canoe Adventure

We really enjoyed this activity. We had six people in our party, but the waves were big on our day, so they split us up into two groups. Captain Russell was amazing. He spent a few minutes with us on the beach before the outing to set our expectations. Then, we went out on the water. He was really patient with us and made sure we had good rides. It was a great experience in a really wonderful setting.

Worth it, favorite activity

The best experience on our whole trip, plan to go back. I found this activity from a YouTube review which depicted the activity perfectly. We upgraded to the Banana boat and bumper ride, which is just a quick few minutes ride each. There was so much to do and explore, the 3 hours went by too fast. The musicians on board was the perfect touch in creating a fun relaxed atmosphere, their music set the tone for the trip and was the fun that pumped us up to enjoy the whole trip. My elementary school kids enjoyed all the different activities. We brought our own food and drinks. We brought our own snorkel gear. We enjoyed the included refreshments. I invited my best friends family to join us and they felt the same. Will book again.
