I took motion sickness medication based on other people's reviews and participated. At first, the speed of the boat was quite fast, and it felt like I was on a roller coaster, so I wasn't worried about getting seasick. The parasailing was at a high altitude, but I didn't feel scared at all, and I could see many tall buildings, which was very pleasant. My elderly mother had no issues and said she would like to participate again. It was my first time parasailing. Although it was high, it felt unreal, so my husband, who has a fear of heights and isn't great with the ocean, enjoyed it too! Towards the end, you do get dropped into the sea (but it's not dangerous, just a little wet!).

It's better to wear a swimsuit underneath, but if you're wearing a bikini, it might be a bit revealing, so shorts might be a better option.

We went in groups of 2 to 3 people. The group of four was split into two teams.

Sunglasses, hats, and cameras can be taken up in the air at your own risk! I’m a bit of a scaredy-cat, so I left everything on the boat (laughs). My husband and I commented on how brave the girl with the GoPro was.

Tips are not included, so we gave some to the captain when we got off the boat. Also, they ask if you want to take photos with a DSLR on the boat. We had our pictures taken! After getting off the boat, we paid $40. You can pay in cash or by card. Since it was our honeymoon, we were happy to have those photos! We also received an SD card.

However, there were about two girls on the same boat who looked like they were struggling with seasickness. If you're prone to getting seasick, it might be a good idea to have some medication on hand. My husband and I didn't feel sick at all.

Overall, I was very satisfied. I highly recommend it!

初めてやったパラセーリング。高さはあるけど非現実的なので、高所恐怖症？で海苦手な夫も楽しんでました！最後の方で海にも落とされるので、(危なくはないので大丈夫ですちょっと濡れます！)

GoProを持って行ってた女の子度胸あるなぁと夫と話していました。
チップは含まれていないので、ツアーが終わって船を降りるときに船長に渡しました。
それから、船の上で一眼レフで写真撮るかどうか聞かれます。私たちは写真撮ってもらいました！船降りてから40ドル払います。現金でもカードでもいけました。新婚旅行だったので撮ってもらえて満足！SDカードももらえました。
ただ同じ船に乗っていた女の子2人くらいは船酔いしていて辛そうでした。酔いやすいなら酔い止めはあったほうが安心かも。私と夫は全く酔いませんでした。
総じて大満足です。オススメします！

I was hesitant about participating, but after seeing others flying from the beach, I decided to join and registered on the morning of the event. I was able to participate even alone. My Japanese was limited to a few words, but I understood the gist through gestures. I thought it would take about three hours, but since there were only four of us, it finished in about an hour after check-in. I walked back to Waikiki Beach, which took about 20 minutes. There was a self-introduction time, so we needed to briefly introduce ourselves in English, mentioning where we were from, how many times we had been to Hawaii, and what we were looking forward to on this tour.

Now, although it has been corrected, I was worried because the tour course I signed up for was supposed to go directly from Honolulu to Haleiwa Town, but it deviated from the course midway. We switched from Freeway H1 to H3, passed through Kaneohe on the east coast, and headed north along the coastline. After passing the famous filming location Kualoa Ranch, we took a restroom break at Tropical Farms. Here, we could sample macadamia nuts and had the experience of cracking the nuts out of their shells with a stone. After a break at a fruit stand, we went to Sunset Beach. It was November, and surfers were challenging the high waves.

Then, the morning activities began, and we chose to take a walk at Waimea Falls Park. The entrance fee to the park was included in the tour price, and the guide paid for it. The course to the waterfall was rich in nature and very relaxing. The water volume of the waterfall was abundant due to the rainy season, which was enjoyable, but during the dry season, the water volume is low, so it's something to be cautious about depending on the date of your visit. We could swim near the waterfall, but it was murky, so we didn't swim. Since we had some time before the meeting time, we had lunch there.

After that, we moved to Haleiwa Town, and in the afternoon activity, we tried SUP (stand-up paddleboarding). I took motion sickness medication in advance after reading reviews, but I was still seasick and couldn't enjoy it fully, which was disappointing. It's safer for those who are prone to motion sickness to avoid it. After I got seasick, the staff kindly gave me water and ginger candy, which was very nice of them.

Another person who joined us didn't get seasick at all and had a great time. We were the only Japanese people there, and since we didn't understand any English, I was anxious, but it turned out to be totally fine. I gave a $20 tip.

The music was outstanding and really made for a fun vibe. I loved the activities they provided, butt being able to only kayak or SUP board I. Such a small area felt pretty CT uneventful. Also, snorkeling was okay, but to be encouraged to just stay near the staff member feeding the fish felt less than what I was expecting.

It was quite a windy day, and we set off with another group (there were actually three groups since we were flying in a 2:1 ratio with four people).

We were going pretty fast out to the ocean! While that was great, I, who am not good with the roller coaster-like feeling of floating, was hanging on for dear life...

We were the last to fly, and it was quite high... plus, the support relied almost entirely on my arm strength (grip strength), so I thought if I ran out of energy, it would be over!! I was a bit nervous, haha.

The view of Waikiki from above was beautiful, and the ocean looked different from the beach, a vibrant blue, making me feel like it’s something everyone should try at least once.

The cheerful music and the friendly crew encouraged us, who were scared, saying "You can do it!" which made it fun. On the way back, we encountered a pod of dolphins and got to see them for a bit!

けっこう風がある日で、わたしたちともう1組の2組(4人組で2：1で飛ぶとのことだったので実際には3組)で出発しました。
沖まで出るのに結構なスピード！はいいんですが、ジェットコースター的浮遊感がにがてなわたしはこわいよ～～！！！！としがみついていました…
わたしたちは最終で飛んだんですが、結構たかい……うえに、支えがほぼ自分の腕力(握力)にかかってくるので力尽きたら終わる！！と思いながらいました…笑
上から見るワイキキの町はとてもきれいで、海もビーチの方とは違って青々としていて1回はやってみるものだなと感じました。
陽気な音楽と気のいいクルーさんたちで怖がる我々をがんばれ～～と励ましてくれて楽しかったです、あとは帰りにイルカの群れに遭遇してちょっと見させてもらえました！

Everything was wonderful. I enjoyed it for longer than I expected. I was relieved that I didn't get too soaked during the final landing (though I wouldn't have minded getting completely wet...). The view of Diamond Head from about 150 meters up was amazing.

I read in other reviews that "it was cold on the boat," so I brought fleece jackets for the kids, but the temperature was comfortable enough for short sleeves. The tide was not out, so there was no sandy beach, but with the life jackets provided, both my 4-year-old son and 8-year-old daughter enjoyed themselves. As the photos show, the water was quite deep, which was quite different from what I had imagined, but because of that, we were able to see a lot of fish while snorkeling, and the kids were thrilled!

Also, we had a lot of fun doing activities like stand-up paddleboarding and canoeing in an area that is usually surrounded by sandy beaches, but this time we were completely surrounded by the sea! The weather was great too!

However, it was a bit tough for my 70-year-old parent. The water was too deep for them to get off the boat... By the way, the water level was just about where adults could finally touch the bottom, while the kids were completely submerged up to their heads. A small child next to us was scared the whole time because the water was too deep.

On this day, there were many foreigners, and they were all guided to the window seats first. Japanese guests were served later. Families with children were seated by the window, but adult groups were placed at tables in the center. I felt a bit of a difference in treatment between foreigners and Japanese guests. I guess it's just how things are in America.

Also, the foreign staff were all very friendly and cheerful! In comparison, the Japanese staff were a bit lacking in smiles, which was a bit disappointing.

あとは普段なら砂浜が見えるとこで行うサップやカヌーなども全方位海に囲まれた状態でできたこともすごく楽しかったです！
天気もよかったですし！
ただ70才の親にはちょっときつかった。あまりに深すぎて船から降りることができませんでした、、、
ちなみに大人がようやく足がつくかなというレベルの水位。子供は完全に頭の上まで水。
おとなりの小さな子供は水が深すぎて終始怖がってました。

この日は外国人の方が多く、先に外国人の方がみんな窓際の席へ案内されてました。日本人は後回し。子供がいる家族は窓際でしたが、大人グループは中央のテーブルへ。ちょっと外国人と日本人の扱いに差を感じました。アメリカだから仕方ないですかね。

あと外国のスタッフさん、とてもみんな楽しく親切な方ばかり！それに比べて日本のスタッフさん、笑顔もなく、ちょっと残念でした。

ですが、なかなか他ではできない体験！存分に楽しみました。ありがとうございました！

We boarded the boat with three groups and enjoyed cruising while gazing at the clear waters of Hawaii. After savoring a peaceful time, it was finally time for parasailing!
