I participated in a beginner mountain biking course. It was a tour where we rode down the mountain on mountain bikes. First, we were driven to the starting point. After adjusting the sizes of the bikes and helmets, we had some time to practice, so it was fine even if it had been a while since I last rode a bike. The downhill ride was very refreshing as I felt the wind rushing past me. The course was from 12 to 3 PM, but since we stopped at various points to take photos and rest, the time flew by. I was able to enjoy the wonderful scenery and the negative ions, which was a lot of fun, different from being at the beach. As a side note, due to the impact of COVID-19, the park where we were supposed to have lunch was closed, so we received water, sandwiches, and snacks and were taken back to the hotel about 30 minutes earlier than planned. I regret that I was so flustered that I forgot to give a tip. I would like to challenge myself with the intermediate and advanced courses next time, so I look forward to it.

マウンテンバイクの初級コースに参加しました。マウンテンバイクで山を下るツアー。まず車でスタート地点まで連れて行ってもらいます。バイクやヘルメットのサイズ調整をしたあと少し練習をする時間もあるので、自転車が久しぶりでも大丈夫でした。ダウンヒルは、風を切って走って行くのがとても爽快でした。12-15時のコースでしたが、要所要所では自転車を止めて撮影したり休憩もしつつだったのであっという間です。素晴らしい景色とマイナスイオンを感じられて、ビーチとはまた違ってとても楽しかったです。余談ですが、新型コロナの影響でランチを食べる予定だった公園が閉鎖されていたので、お水とサンドイッチ、スナックを貰って当初予定より30分ほど早くホテルに送迎してもらいました。バタバタしていてチップを渡し忘れてしまったことが悔やまれます。今度は中級・上級コースに挑戦したいと思うので、またよろしくお願いします。

After that, the four-wheeler course had turned into a sea of mud, but we started without worrying about it! We ended up covered in mud, even our underwear turned black, but it was such a unique experience that we had a blast and were very satisfied.

I didn't bring a change of clothes, and since I couldn't get into the rental car, I ended up buying a poncho to wear home. Plus, it was cold being wet...

They took some photos along the way and said they would send them via email later, but it's been three days and I still haven't received them. If it hadn't been raining, I would have taken some with my own smartphone!

１０歳の息子が３匹釣ってキャプテンから「BEST　FISHER」と言われご満悦でした。息子のライバル君はカワハギではない大きい魚を釣ったようでにこにこしていました。

釣った魚はサイズが小さいとリリース。大きいものはフレーバーソルトで味付けして焼いてくれましたが釣れなかった方たちは遠慮して食べてなかったみたいでした。
最近、催行日が減ったようで、やめないでほしいなと思い、かなり日が経ちましたが体験談を投稿しました。
今回、新型コロナがなければ、またこのオプショナルツアーに参加しようと思っていたのであきらめざる負えず残念な気持ちでいっぱいです。

We participated in a 2-hour course without transportation for 5 people. Since taking the shuttle would mean a longer wait time, we drove there with a rental car. It takes about an hour from Waikiki. This time, we went to the outlet in the morning, so we arrived in less than an hour from there. Our start time was scheduled for 3 PM, but since we arrived early, they changed it to start at 2:30 PM. Kualoa has been the filming location for various movies, and both the mountains and the ocean offer stunning views. Although there are quite a few days with bad weather, we were fortunate to have nice weather this time. It's not often that I get the chance to go horseback riding in Japan, so it was enjoyable. The horses remember the course, and they provide instructions on how to operate them, so there's no need to worry. If you want to store your belongings, there are lockers available. I had one of the best time here at the Kualoa Ranch! Although the request I had for a specific time and date was unavailable, a receptionist was able to call and inform me of so. She was able to work with me and was able to fit me and my friend in! She was very nice and informative. I would definitely advise to book in advance of atleast 5 days!

As for the whole experience during our tour was beyond amazing! The tour was beautiful and showed us different scenes of multiple films they produced with a cute little jurassic park video for us! :) Would definitely highly recommend this activity one for the books!! :)

Three out of five people in our group went to Hawaii. I watched from below.

Since the pickup time was around 4 AM and two people weren't participating, we went by rental car instead of having a shuttle. We left around 6 AM.

It seemed the weather had been bad for the past few days, and many cancellations had occurred, but fortunately, we were able to depart right away without waiting.

We arrived at the point in about 15 minutes by plane and started diving one after another. The sound of the wind was so loud that it seems I jumped without hearing the count.

The observers asked about the color of the parachutes and watched as they came down.

It was amazing!! All three were very satisfied. However, one person said the parachute spun and made them feel unwell. They suggested telling them not to spin it before starting. One person said they saw a whale.

There are additional fees for photo and video shooting. One person was filming, and the editing was interesting and good. They started filming before we took off.

Afterward, there is a tip payment, so please remember to bring cash. It seems there are ATMs available as well. There are also lockers. If someone has trouble with their shoes coming off, they can lend you some.

ただパラシュートが回転して具合が悪かったそうです。始まる前に回さないでと伝えたらいいそうです。１人はクジラが見えたそうです。

写真撮影とビデオ撮影は別途有料であります。１人ビデオ撮影をしていましたが、編集も面白くてよかったです。飛ぶ前から撮影してました。

終わったらチップの支払いがあるので現金は忘れずに持参してください。ATMも設置してあるようでした。ロッカーなどもあるようです。
靴が脱げやすい人は貸してくれます。

The ATV tour was great! I know some people were scared to ride the vehicle, but I love a but of adrenaline. So I left wanting more! But we had to stick to the track and keep in a single file. The views are just superb and wish we had more time to soak that in.

でもこれでもう充分です。

I finally fulfilled a long-time dream of mine: skydiving, which I did while accompanying my son on his graduation trip in Hawaii. The time flew by, but the view from the sky was breathtaking and magnificent, something I had never seen before. It was truly amazing. The moment of freefall was incredibly scary, though!

Since the Cessna flies backward against the direction of travel, those who are prone to motion sickness should definitely take anti-nausea medication. It was a vast and sacred place, a movie filming location, and horseback riding with wonderful scenery was the best. The horse was smart and seemed experienced, so I could trust it completely without giving too many instructions; it was such a lovely horse. Just one thing… after two hours of riding, my backside started to hurt.

I did't think much of it at first because the tour seemed very short, but it was the funnest I ever had, even with a baby. The ride through the jungle was bumpy and the roads were windy like a roller coaster ride. The views were breathtaking, and although it rained a little on the top, it added for extra ambiance & adventure. The guide gave us rain ponchos to help us keep us dry. The guides were very informative & fun. They sure knew what they were doing.

I participated in a two-hour Jurassic Park location horseback riding tour with a friend. The departure was almost on time, and we were taken by a large bus along with those doing the buggy rides. Upon arriving at the ranch, we split into groups of Japanese and non-Japanese to hear about the meeting place and time, and we had free time until then. Since it was raining heavily until departure, I thought about borrowing a raincoat, but it was too big and the rain was intermittent, so I ended up not borrowing one. Helmets are mandatory, and there were fewer small sizes available. Backpacks and one-shoulder bags are not allowed, but waist pouches are permitted. It seems you can borrow a saddlebag even if you don’t have a pouch. Before riding, we watched a video explanation and then it was time to ride. I thought the guide would lead us, but my friend's horse was allowed to go ahead because "this horse knows the way," which made for a very free-spirited ride! Thanks to that, we occasionally took the wrong path. Riding with a view of the ocean and progressing through the vast grasslands in the grand canyon was exhilarating. While trotting and cantering were prohibited, I really wanted to run because the scenery was that beautiful. 友人と2時間のジュラシックパークロケ地外乗に参加しました。出発はほぼ定刻で、外乗だけでなくバギーなどと一緒に大型バスで連れて行かれます。牧場に着くと日本人とそれ以外に分かれて集合場所や時間を聞き、時間まではフリー。出発まで強い雨が降っていたのでレインコートを借りようかと思いましたが、サイズが大きすぎるのと降ったり止んだりだったので結局借りず。ヘルメットは必須で、小さいサイズは少なめでした。リュックサックやワンショルダーバッグはNG、ウェストポーチは持ち込みOKです。ポーチが無くてもサドルバッグを借りられるようです。騎乗前にビデオで説明を見て、いざ騎乗。ガイドさんが先導してくれるものと思っていたら、この馬はわかってるから〜と友人が乗る馬に先頭を行かせるというフリーダム！な外乗でした。おかげでたまに道を間違えましたが。馬上から海を臨み、雄大な渓谷の中の草原を進むのは爽快です。速歩・駈歩は禁止ですが、これは走りたいですねー。それくらい気持ちがいい景色でした。帰りに少し雨に降られましたが、乾燥しているせいですぐに乾きました。早い時間で予約していたので、出発まで持ち込んだサンドイッチを食べたり(食料はカフェテリアがあるのでそこでも調達可能)、牧場内をブラブラして帰りにバスに乗り込んだらぐっすり昼寝。最高の1日でした！強いて言うなら下馬時に写真撮ってあげる！と言われていたのですがすぐに馬を放牧場に流してしまったのが残念。写真を撮りたい方はしっかりアピールした方がいいと思います。

Waking up at 3:00 AM and departing after 4:00 AM was tough, but overall it was a satisfying tour. The breakfast we had in the local camper was cheap and delicious. The guide and the local instructor were kind, and we were able to enjoy a pleasant time throughout.

We had booked an afternoon session, but on the day of, we received a call in our hotel room from a Japanese person with disappointing news: the session was canceled due to bad weather. They informed us that we would receive a full refund and encouraged us to rebook via email if we had other dates available, so I quickly made a reservation for two days later. I hesitated about the timing since it was early, but I wanted to see the sunrise, so I changed to the first morning session.

On the day, we were picked up at 4:40 AM and headed to a location about a 10-minute walk away, where two small buses were waiting. The driver who greeted us was a foreign woman. 中年の男性でした。パスポート、バウチャーはコピーでokです。写真の説明、記入漏れのチェック、わからなければ何でも教えてくださいます。ジョークも交えて楽しい方でした。ロッカーで小銭が必要で両替機もありますので25セント4枚か1ドル札、チップ代、写真支払いはカードにしたのでカード、あと少し多めに待ち時間が多いことを考え、現金があれば大丈夫でした。名前が呼ばれるまで待ちます。写真を撮ったり両替していたらすぐに呼ばれました。
インストラクター、カメラマンと対面です。ベテランな感じのおじさん、カメラマンは女性でした。日本語通じません。
簡単すぎる説明を改めて受け、装備を付けて旦那と一緒にインタビュー動画を撮り、あとはセスナ待ち！
着いたら乗り込みます。すぐに上空へ向かいます。寒いと聞いてましたがハワイらしさを少しでも出したく半袖で行きましたが寒さなんかないです！ただ、待ってる間は長袖必要です。
10分程で着きます。景色に夢中で恐怖感はありませんでした。
みんなで最終準備をして、一番前に座ってる人からポンポン落ちていきます。私は最後の方でしたので見送ってました。そして自分の番が来て、３人で落ちます。
苦しすぎて景色どころではありませんでした。
カメラマンがいろんなポーズをしてくるので頑張って真似して撮ってもらいます。あっという間にフリーフォールが終わり、パラシュートを開くと景色が楽しめます。不思議な感覚でした。操縦もさせてもらいました。
パラシュートがかなり酔うので絶対酔い止めいります。
地上に着いたらインタビュー動画を撮り、チップの説明を受け、撮ってもらった動画、写真をチェックして、欲しい方を購入します。高いですが私たちは両方にしました。USBかAirDropどちらかでもらえます。朝日が綺麗で、地球が丸いって感じられる写真、動画で感動しました。顔の写りは置いといて。。
トータル8万くらいはかかりましたが満足です。
そして少しすると名前が呼ばれてバスへ乗り込み、ホテルへは9:30頃には着いていましたのでよかったです。
帰りに行きと同じドライバーさんへチップを渡します。若い女の子2人組がチップを渡さず帰っていくと
呆れた顔でその子達を見つめていましたので、渡した方がいいかと思います。
普段は高所恐怖症ですがこれは別物でした。
命がけですが、私達夫婦はやってよかった！って感じでした。見たことのない、経験したことのないものです。運が良かったのか優しい日本語話せる男性でしたし、気にかけて声もたくさんかけてくださり、最初から色んな話をしてくださり、また来てね、と言うような感じでしたのでトータルで満足です。

敷地内で時間を潰せるものは殆どありませんでした。送迎付きで予約する場合、帰りのバスまでの待ち時間がどのくらいになるかを考えて予約した方が良さそうです。

At the ranch, there are ample options for breakfast/lunch that were well priced and very tasty! Plenty of opportunities to take great photos by the mountains prior to the bus picking you up as well...

The tour guides held a brief safety course before taking the group out zip lining to ensure everyone was comfortable using the equipment. Speaking of tour guides, they were all very friendly and engaging. Any and all questions were answered by them and they helped facilitate conversation among everyone participating. There were a handful of cold water stations throughout the tour so there is no need to bring any personal water...

Plenty of professional photography spots (taken automatically as you zip by them on the line) are located on the zip line tour, which will be pointed out by the guides. [None of the photos I posted are the professional photos.] I recommend purchasing the pictures (whole package rather than individuals) as the price can't be beat for the quality and quantity of photos. Oh, also bring some cash if you would like to purchase some energy shots from the photographer in case you had one too many mai tais the night before!

Overall it was a great experience worth paying for that I can't find anything to improve upon. A+!

Other things I can think of off the top of my head:
-Free locker storage for valuable items
-I would recommend bringing sunscreen and sunglasses and even a hat
-Hiking isn't that strenuous. Do not need to be in excellent shape or anything.
-Seeing where some of my favorite movies were filmed was pretty neat!
-Wear comfy tennis shoes

Riding on a horse amidst the overwhelming scenery was very pleasant. Moreover, it was a great point that I could see not only the mountains but also the beautiful ocean. I participated in the two-hour course, but it was a bit tough for someone who doesn't exercise much since there were no breaks along the way. However, the view from the back of the cute horse and seeing my family was the best!

圧倒的な景色の中、馬に揺られて進むのは、とても気持ちが良かったです。
