I chose Hawaii as my travel destination because I wanted to go skydiving. Unfortunately, it rained on the day of the jump... However, once we traveled about an hour to the coastline, it cleared up!!

My first skydiving experience was amazing!!! After climbing to 14,000 feet in the plane, we dove right away! I wasn't scared at all (*^^*). It was a bit uncomfortable in the clouds, but once we broke through, the view was incredible!!

At first, they recommend hiring a professional photographer for the shoot, but for those who don't want that, you can have the tandem instructor use a small camera attached to their arm for about 7,000 yen. This was more than enough!! The fisheye lens captured everything beautifully (＾ν＾).

The people I jumped with were also fun and made it the best experience ever!!

A great tour through the beautiful valley to numerous movie & TV sites, you even get to go into a real WWII bunker! My first time on an ATV was easy enough and probably one of the most gorgeous places to learn.

Took this tour with a couple of friends and we had a blast! Riding up and down hills and through mud puddles all surrounded by the amazing scenery is definitely something every visitor to Oahu should do. Our guide was great & we all had a blast! Defintely gets dusty & muddy so I would recommend long pants and possibly a scarf or something to cover your face, mine was absolutely covered by the end of the 2 hours.

Wow, it felt amazing.
It was my first time skydiving, and I was really scared before doing it, but the fear only lasted for about ten seconds before and after jumping. After that, it was exhilarating.
However, I was really scared when I stood by the door ready to jump...
We did it together, but both of us felt a bit nauseous during the fall.

Honolulu Downhill Bike Tour, Secret Waterfall Hike & Waikiki Snorkel Sail Combo

I didn't know what to expect when I booked this tour since I was going solo. The staff is very friendly and on time. The first part of the tour is the hike up the Manoa valley 5 miles south of Waikiki. Highly recommended to wear long sleeves and pants if you don't like mosquitoe bites. The hike itself is fairly easy. Very doable for any age. The trip to the waterfalls itself is more enjoyable than when you get there.
The second part of the tour is the 5 mike downhill bike ride. I know, it sounds more daunting than it is. I haven't bike for almost 20 years but got the hang of it right away. You won't really need to pedal much as it is mostly downhill, rather you will need to use your brakes a lot. Fantastic view of downtown Waikiki and Diamond head crater.
Overall, I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for some adventure outside of the beach. Great experience!!!

It's early in the morning, and the wait time is long. There are no Japanese-speaking staff, but they show a video explanation in Japanese. It was my first time skydiving, but the instructor was very reliable, so I had no worries at all!! If you want to keep photos, it costs an additional 10,000 yen. It was such a fun experience that I want to do it again! I definitely recommend it!

Once the parachute opens, you can enjoy the wonderful views of Hawaii, and I think it lasts about 15 to 20 minutes, but it was a very fun experience.

While there’s not much to do afterward, I felt surprisingly fatigued, possibly due to the tension, so it might be safer to plan lighter activities for the afternoon of the same day.

I participated in skydiving for the first time in my life, feeling a mix of curiosity and fear.

We departed from the meeting point around 7 AM and arrived at the diving location in about an hour. During the journey, we had to sign the waiver multiple times (essentially stating that we wouldn't sue if something happened).

Upon arriving at the office, we watched a 10-minute video that outlined the rules for skydiving (again, it included content about not suing). There was also an explanation of the entire process leading up to the actual dive.

After the video, we waited for a while, then put on our harnesses and received some direct instructions from the instructor who would be diving with us (covering the process from the dive to landing).

Once it was time to dive, the fear disappeared, and I felt a rush of excitement.

If you have even a slight interest, I highly recommend going for a dive.

I requested video recording, and although I thought the price was high for the highlights from my pre-dive enthusiasm to my post-dive impressions, it was a great keepsake, so I’m glad I bought it.

I went horseback riding for the first time in a year and a half. I took a bus for about two hours and was planning to walk to the ranch from there, but while walking after getting off the bus, I met a kind couple who offered to drive me! Since I arrived much earlier than planned, I took a nap in a hammock. I rode across the vast ranch with a handsome cowboy named Ross, chatting and learning how to ride better. It took me some time to get used to it since it had been a while, but I had a lot of fun! We also took a commemorative photo with the North Shore sea in the background. I had such a great time horseback riding, but I got too carried away and forgot to give a tip... sorry, next time! When I go horseback riding in Hawaii again, I will request this place!

This tour would have gotten 5 stars but for the tour guide whom we thought was not very good.
It's a 6 hour tour, comprising a hike through the jungle to Manoa Falls, and a bike down the Tantalus road with the spectacular views of Honolulu.
Pickup: was on time and easy in a minibus.
Boots: We had to prebook boots to trek the muddy trail, I booked boots from Australia (different size to US) and asked co. to check my sizings. Mattias, the guide, threw boots off car roof and random people took them to try. He didn't know whos boots were whos. Two of my family's boots were split letting water and mud in, defeating the purpose. My boots were taken by someone else, and I was left with too small boots. Mattias said I didn't book 'womens' size. ?? huh??and was unconcerned with my problem.
Trail: We were given water and trail mix, and a waist bag, and insect spray, which I thought was great. The trail was on private land and The jungle walk was lovely. It was extremely muddy, but had

I planned this trip to Hawaii specifically for skydiving. However, the journey to the North was filled with rain, and I was starting to lose hope. But when we arrived, the weather cleared up beautifully! ❤️

The dive was from way above the clouds, and since I couldn't see the ground and the process moved along like a conveyor belt, I didn't have any time to hesitate, so I didn't feel scared at all. The views of the clouds, sky, and ocean were so beautiful that I almost cried. Plus, thanks to the rain beforehand, we were able to see a rainbow from the sky!!! A perfectly round rainbow ❤️ It felt like I was being sucked into it. I was truly moved ❤️ I'm so glad I went skydiving!

However, the explanation and waiting time after we arrived were quite long. Since our pickup time was early and we hadn't had breakfast, we were really hungry. I recommend either eating beforehand or bringing snacks, as well as something to pass the time, like magazines.

It does take some time, but it was an amazing experience. Hawaii from the sky is the best! ❤️

それなのにノースまでの道のりはずーっと雨が降っていて・・・半分諦め気味だったのですが、着いたら見事に晴れてくれました♡
ダイブは雲のはるか上からで地上が見えないのと、流れ作業のように進むのでためらう時間が全くないのとで怖さを全く感じることなく飛べました。
雲も空も海もすべての景色が綺麗すぎて涙がでそうになりました。しかも、雨のあとだったおかげで空から虹も見ることが出来たんです！！！

My husband wanted to go skydiving, so we decided to do it together! I had heard there would be a lot of waiting time, so I thought it would be nice to join him for the experience. It was really scary, but I'm glad I went skydiving!

When I returned to Japan and talked about skydiving, it became a great story to share! Sometimes, the excitement would come rushing back as I was talking about it! The cost might be higher compared to other activities, but it was worth the experience!

As for the waiting time I mentioned earlier, it wasn't as bothersome as I thought! I requested a 9 AM start, and we got back to the hotel around 2 PM! After that, we went shopping again.

I had heard that tipping the instructor who jumps with you is necessary, and if you want photos or videos, you'll need to tip the instructor who takes those as well. Also, the driver who picks you up and drops you off should be tipped too! It's just a difference in customs, so it can't be helped.

When you get there, they sell some drinks, but I thought it would be good to bring a little food and drink with you! Overall, I was very satisfied!

Booked this as a wedding gift my my daughter and new son-in-law. They had a wonderful time (original date cancelled due to rain), however re-booked for a different day without difficulty. Their only complaint was a language barrier. It was very difficult to understand the pilot-very strong accent.

We are a senior couple in our 50s. We came to Hawaii for our silver wedding anniversary trip. My wife wanted to try horseback riding, so we decided to give it a shot. Of course, this was our first time riding horses, and we don't speak English. I was worried about what would happen if everyone else could ride and we couldn't. What if they suddenly told us to "get on!"? I was anxious because I wouldn't understand the instructions in English...

However, all those worries were completely unnecessary. There were staff members who could speak broken Japanese, and those who couldn't spoke in clear English and explained everything diligently. First, we watched a five-minute Japanese video that included important safety information, which helped us understand the basics. After that, our guide helped us mount the horses and taught us how to move forward, stop, and turn. Knowing just a few English words like "start," "stop," "right," and "left" was enough (laughs). Then we set off. Since we were the only two on the two-hour course, it was just the three of us: the two of us and a very cute and kind female guide in her twenties.

As for the horses, they were very obedient and well-trained. They followed our novice handling without any fuss, and by the end, I had grown quite attached to my horse (laughs). We had signed up for the two-hour horseback riding course, and it was the right choice. The ranch is vast, and the scenery is breathtaking! I knew it was a filming location for Jurassic Park, but I didn't have high expectations. However, I was amazed! It truly felt like the world of Jurassic Park. No matter how far we went, we were surrounded by that scenery: expansive grasslands, hills, majestic mountains, and the stunning emerald green sea, with dinosaur footprints scattered here and there (laughs). I absolutely recommend this! There seems to be a one-hour horseback riding course as well. I'm not sure what route it takes, but it starts from the guesthouse and walks through the forest for about 20 minutes before reaching an open area with a view of Jurassic Park. So, in conclusion...

　最初に注意事項を盛り込んだ５分程度の日本語ビデオを観せられます。それで必要最低限の事項が理解できます。その後、担当のガイドさんに馬にまたがらせてもらい、進み方、止まり方、曲がり方を教えてもらいます。英語はスタート、ストップ、ライト、レフトくらい分かれば大丈夫（笑）そして出発です。２時間コースは私達だけだったので、我々２人と、とてもかわいらしくてやさしい２０代の女性ガイドと３人で出発しました。肝心の馬ですが、とても従順でよく訓練されてます。素人の操縦（？）にも素直におとなしく従ってくれ、最後の方はすっかり情が移ってしまいました。（笑）
　私たちは乗馬２時間コースを申し込んだのですが、正解でした。なんといっても牧場は広い！それも絶景のコースです。ジュラシックパークのロケ地ということは知ってたのですが、どれほどのものかあまり期待はしてなかったのです。けれどもびっくり！まさにジュラシックパークの世界でした。行けども行けどもあの世界。とても広い草原や丘、神々しいまでの山々、目の覚めるようなエメラルドグリーンの海、ところどころにある恐竜の足跡（笑）。そこをいかにも手慣れたように馬を操り（？）進んでいく。本当に至福の一時でした。ところどころにヴァバの木が生えてて、ガイドさんが実を取ってくれて食べさせてくれました。初めて食べたヴァバの実はとてもジューシーでとてもおいしかったです。天気にも恵まれ、まさに至福の一時でした。２時間はあっという間に過ぎました。

Since it was my first time participating, I couldn't understand everything well, so I guess it can't be helped. I was under the impression that I could go horseback riding, so I was disappointed that I couldn't. The advertised horseback riding hike sounded appealing, but I didn't know how to express that, and I would have liked to know how to make the most of my time at Hailewa. The duration of the stay was too long for someone who doesn't ride horses.

Most of the foreign instructors are friendly, and there are no complaints at that level.

However, the Japanese staff member, Mr. Nakai, seems to be the type who is not suited for customer service. His remarks are quite overbearing, and he shows no consideration for Japanese people experiencing this for the first time.

By the way, tips are advised to be given to the shuttle driver and the tandem instructor, and if you request photos ($120) or videos ($160), Mr. Nakai instructs that you should pay 15% to 20% for up to three staff members.

The entrance fee may seem cheap, but be careful as the total can add up to a significant amount.

In addition to Pacific Skydiving Center, there is another skydiving shop next door, so it might be worth checking that out as well.

this is the only way to see Hawaii! The view was amazing, fairly organized...video/photo's a tad bit pricey and there are weight overage charges...those weren't extreme, but some how I missed that....but still, friggin amazing!
