I was able to experience skydiving, which I had wanted to try, at a quite reasonable price, and it became a wonderful memory. Since it's a group activity, the waiting time to jump and the time spent waiting for others to finish jumping can be quite long. I think it's better to plan on spending half a day for this experience.

I would like to introduce a great value optional tour among the many available in Hawaii. This time, I focused on "Horseback Riding in Hawaii!" while comparing various optional tours. And what I found was this plan!

1. First, the iconic "This Tree, What Tree" at "Moanalua Gardens" (it’s said that the Moanalua Gardens tour will no longer be available after April 2016, so be sure to see it soon).
2. Next, enjoy Hawaii's specialty pineapple at the "Dole Plantation."
3. Then, at the "North Shore," encounter the elusive "sea turtles" (they were huge! I could almost ride on their backs).
4. For lunch, we had a recommendation from our guide for a hidden gem "delicious shrimp restaurant" (so good! Lightly seasoned for $11).
5. The much-anticipated "horseback riding"… Unlike other horseback riding optional tours that just walk along the coast for 40 minutes, this tour takes you through varied landscapes like hills, valleys, and bamboo groves, allowing you to enjoy the rhythm of the horse for a full 90 minutes in nature. Local staff support you at the front and back of the line, ensuring safety. The horses are wild yet generally calm, and there were many female groups participating (however, those over 100 kg are not allowed; we don’t want to hurt the horses).

**Note:** If you ride properly, there are no issues, but if you mess around or let go of the reins (like taking photos), you could fall off and get seriously injured (which is why you have to sign a waiver before riding).

So, how much is this packed tour? An incredible $165 per person! (Of course, it includes a Japanese-speaking guide, tips, and hotel pickup). You will really understand how great of a deal this plan is if you take the time to compare it with other tours!

As I approached my 30th birthday, I decided to go skydiving with friends, making it the main event of our trip to Hawaii. We were picked up near our hotel before 6 AM and, after arriving at the center with other participants, we received a brief explanation before heading straight to the small plane.

The Russian instructor who was in charge of me, along with all the staff, was very friendly, which helped ease my nerves. I was surprised at how excited I felt, rather than anxious. As we gradually ascended, I did a final check with the instructor, put on my goggles, and off we went into the Hawaiian sky! Instead of feeling like I was falling, it felt more like I was floating in the air, which was astonishing! However, the strong wind pressure made it quite a challenge to wave my hands, yet I found myself smiling naturally and surprisingly relaxed. Breathing was manageable as long as I followed the instructor's guidance and kept my mouth slightly open.

Before I knew it, the parachute opened, and once the speed decreased, I was able to enjoy the beautiful Hawaiian scenery at a leisurely pace. It truly felt like I had become a bird. At one point, the instructor loosened my harness, which made me a bit anxious since I hadn't been informed about it beforehand, but the fun outweighed any worries.

I had always thought about trying skydiving at least once in my life after seeing it on TV, but I never expected it to be so easy and enjoyable! If you're hesitating, I highly recommend giving it a try. A senior who had already experienced it told me, "Skydiving won't change your life," but I believe my experience did change my life. I gained a strange confidence (laughs).

Since I was dropped off at the hotel before noon, I felt like I had plenty of time left in the afternoon. I plan to go skydiving again the next time I visit Hawaii! I truly recommend it!

呼吸はインストラクターの指導通りに、うっすら口をあけてすれば問題ないと思います。

あっという間にパラシュートが開き、速度が落ちてからはハワイの景色もゆっくり楽しめて、本当に鳥になった気がしました。
途中インストラクターがベルトを緩めてくれますが、前もって聞いていなかったので少し不安になりましたが、とにかく楽しさの方が勝りました。

テレビなどでスカイダイビングの映像を観て、死ぬまでには一度経験してみたいなぁと思っていましたが、こんなにも簡単で、楽しいことだとは思っていませんでした！
悩んでいる方は是非経験してみてください。
「スカイダイビングやっても人生変わらなかったよ。」と既に経験済みの先輩に言われましたが、私は経験して人生が変わったと思います＾＾
変な自信もつきました(笑)

お昼前にはホテルに送ってもらったので、午後もたっぷり時間があると思います。

Skydiving was my first experience, and it was amazing!! I was able to do it without any anxiety because I was with an instructor! I felt a little nervous while waiting for my turn to jump, but once I was out, that feeling disappeared! It was a valuable experience to see the mountains and the beautiful ocean of Hawaii from the sky!

Two young women in our tour group mistakenly miscalculated the meeting time, causing us to wait for about 30 minutes. The tour driver, in front of the other passengers, forcefully and aggressively said, "Apologize!!" which instantly darkened the mood. It really dampened the travel spirit we had.

Whether this was due to a lack of prior explanation or unclear communication with the two women (only verbal), I believe there is some fault on the part of the tour company regarding the itinerary. Helpful driver(young man but forgot name..sorry). Mosquito repellent and walking stick. Thought about taking bus, but the last stop is a bit of a distance from trailhead. This shuttle expedites the process. Picked up and dropped off at Waikiki hotel. If you have limited time on the island I would definitely recommend this tour. The hike itself is not overly demanding in dry conditions. Wife and I are in 50's and in so-so condition. I thought this was easier than Diamond Head hike, which wasn't difficult either. Probably an entirely different story if wet and rainy. Get off the beach and experience another aspect of the island. Enjoyed it.

Mike, our tour guide was very informative and made the trip exciting for us.

My husband and I did not finish all three activities due to too much sun exposure. It was exhausting. We did not go snorkeling, however, the hike was interesting (I'm not an outdoorsy person) and the downhill bike was the our personal favorite. Next time, we will do it again, but I can go without the hike.

This whole place is incredible. My husband and I did the Jungle tour and Zipline and loved every minute of it. The tour guides were extremely wonderful and made the experience that much better. Pros: The guides were great. Especially the Hawaiian (?) lady. The zip lines were fun and I like how they had a story for each line. They were better than any of the other ones I been on. The cons: The hiking up hills with the heavy equipment. Not sure if that was in the description. They should warn us beforehand other than that I had a great time.

There are a lot of good-looking guys, even from a man's perspective. The local divers jump multiple times a day, so they handle the tasks easily (laughs). After being called, I watched a DVD for about 30 minutes, then met up with the tandem instructor, and in just about 10 minutes, we were ready to go (laughs). It was super quick! It felt like we were suddenly at 10,000 feet, which is about 4,000 meters in Japan, and we flew up in no time (laughs). But the view was amazing—the weather was great too! The tandem instructor was incredibly skilled, and the cameraman did some wild and dangerous things with ease (laughs). I definitely want to jump again! It's different from roller coasters or bungee jumping; since it's so high that you can't see the ground, you're just stepping out of the Cessna.

The driver was Japanese and the explanations were easy to understand in Japanese. Skydiving itself was reasonably priced, but you need to tip the driver $4, the instructor $20, and the photographer (if you sign up) $20, so I recommend bringing extra cash. Skydiving was incredibly fun, and I would like to use this service again next time.

My husband, parents and I really enjoyed the sunset dinner ride. The only thing I wish we could have done was gallop or even cantor a bit. If you are a new rider or inexperienced, this is perfect for you. The views were breathtaking and the guide was great. The food was decent, however when we got done we realized we didn't get the corn on the cob or the pie that was advertised in the add. What we did get was steak, shrimp, rice, macaroni salad, fresh fruit and we made smores over the fire. The best was the fruit and the smores. Overall it was really fun and a great experience.

When I came to Hawaii, I wanted to go horseback riding in nature, so I took a local bus for 1 hour and 30 minutes from Waikiki to Kualoa Ranch. First, I enjoyed a delicious burger that was highly recommended, and then I got on a big horse and started riding. There were six of us participating, but only one female instructor was assigned... Is this normal?? I was a bit anxious, wondering if she could handle everything alone if something happened, while I was riding.

Since I was a beginner, I took the one-hour course, but we just rode along a path surrounded by trees and that was it... Wait, where was the location of Jurassic Park?? Was there a two-hour course to go there?? I felt somewhat unsatisfied, but the female instructor spoke Japanese, I was able to ride safely, and the burger was delicious, so I had a decent time, giving it three stars.

However, I'm not sure if it was worth the three-hour round trip... It might be recommended for those who are just stopping by with a rental car.

ただ、往復３時間かけて来る場所だったかは微妙・・・
レンタカーでちょっと寄ってみるか、という人にはお勧めかもしれませんが。

In January, it was too cold for adults to swim in the ocean or pool, so I joined a hiking tour.

As we progressed, the guide explained about the plants and animals in the tropical rainforest, and we ended up seeing a waterfall. I had thought Hawaii was just about the beaches, but it was great to walk through such a tropical rainforest at a distance and difficulty level that even preschoolers could manage.

I highly recommend this tour for those who are tired of the beaches in Hawaii. It might be especially good for families with children, as it's also beneficial for their English education.

This was my first time having such an experience; I initially hesitated, but I'm glad I did it. I want to recommend this to others and give more people the chance to have such an experience. I have wanted to go skydiving for a long time. The scenery in Hawaii is so beautiful, and diving into it was incredibly exciting!! The staff were all fun and reliable. I want to do it again! Next time, I want to have photos taken while diving.

Since I attend a riding club, I found the horseback riding a bit lacking in terms of riding experience. Instead of riding along the beach, we rode steadily along the coastline. I thought 40 minutes would be short, but it actually turned out to be nearly an hour of enjoyment. The scenery was lovely and very much like Hawaii, making it a great experience.

I also got to enjoy the garlic shrimp from Macky's, which is difficult to reach on your own, and I was able to try Matsumoto Shave Ice! Shopping at the cute shops in Haleiwa was also fun, so this tour was quite fulfilling.

Moreover, I got to see a sea turtle!!! And I must say, the guide was quite a character (laughs). At first, I was a bit confused, but he created a fun atmosphere and was very knowledgeable about Hawaii. The vibe in the car during the transfers was friendly and cheerful. Since the travel time was long, the atmosphere was important. Looking back, I feel lucky to have had him as our guide.

This is a highly recommended tour where you can enjoy about half of what Hawaii has to offer! Thank you!

乗馬クラブに通ってるので、乗馬という意味では物足りないです。浜辺ではなく、海岸沿いをひたすら常足での騎乗でした。４０分は短いかなと思ってましたが、実際は１時間近かく楽しめました。景色がハワイらしく素敵なのでいい体験になります。
自力で行くことが難しいマッキーズのガーリックシュリンプもいただくことが出来ましたし、マツモトシェイブアイスもトライ出来ました!(^^)!ハレイワの可愛いショップでショッピングも楽しめるので、このツアーはかなり充実しています。
それにウミガメにも逢えました！！！
そして何といっても、ガイドさんがけっこう強烈な方で（笑）最初は？？？と思いましたが、楽しい雰囲気を作って下さるハワイを熟知した方で、移動中の車内は和気あいあいとしていてました。移動時間が長いので、空気感も大事ですね。終わってみればこの方でラッキーだったと思いました。
こちらでハワイの半分位は楽しめちゃったお勧めのツアーです(^_-)-☆

The zip line was physically demanding, but it was exciting and fun! The friendliness of the staff and the enjoyable atmosphere were also very good. My whole family said they were glad to participate.

The start was terrible as we waited 30 minutes for the bus. It was stated that if it didn't arrive in 10 minutes, we should call, so I did, but since it was in English, the conversation didn't go well. I called twice. During the second call, I was told to wait another 10 minutes, and after 30 minutes, the bus finally arrived. The voucher said to wait in front of the Ilikai Hotel, but the pickup was in front of the road, not at the entrance. Also, instead of calling me by name, they shouted "Zip line!" and I almost didn't realize it in time, which was scary.

Once we arrived, the staff were very friendly and created a fun atmosphere. With gestures, I could generally understand what they were saying in English!

First, we registered our profiles and consent on a wall-mounted PC screen. We had to leave all our belongings behind and participate with just our bodies. It was mandatory to use the restroom before joining.

We moved around the site in a jeep, and it was fun with the bumpy ride that splashed mud everywhere.

After that, we slid down the zip line, starting with the staff demonstrating how it’s done. Then, two people at a time took turns sliding. Before sliding, the staff communicated via walkie-talkie to inform each other of who was going next. The instructions before sliding were precise, which made me feel safe.

There are two ways to slide: fast and slow, and they provided a briefing on this. We slid down seven lines, doing various styles including upside down.

The course included climbing down with ropes, using arm strength to pull ourselves up, and a suspension bridge. We also had bananas and nuts to eat and could drink water, making it feel like an obstacle course. There were two zip line options in Hawaii, one in Croatia and this one, but we chose this one because it seemed more fun. I think we made the right choice.

While enjoying the zip line, I was impressed by the staff's skill and professionalism.

I believe my whole family enjoyed it. As a gesture of gratitude, I gave a small tip to two staff members I was able to identify during the tour. After finishing, it seems they go on break, so it’s best to give tips right away if you want to.

最初にプロフィールと承諾を壁掛けのPC画面で登録します。
持物は全てあずけて身体一つ。必ずトイレをしてから参加です。

ジープで敷地内を移動しますが、泥が飛んでくるくらいグネグネ運転で楽しかったです。

その後ジップラインを滑走しますが、最初まずスタッフさんが滑って見本を見せてくれます。
その後順番に2名ずつ滑走します。滑走前にはスタッフさんがトランシーバーで連絡を取り合い、誰が滑るかを名前を伝えています。滑る前の滑走の手順も正確で安心して滑れました。

滑り方には速く滑る方法と、ゆっくり滑る方法があります。これをレクチャーしてくれます。
7本滑りましたが、逆さになったり、いろんな滑り方をしました。

コースの中には、上から縄で下に降りたり、下から上に腕力を使って自分を引上げたり、吊り橋があったり、途中バナナやナッツも食べたり、水を飲めたりアスレチックのようでした。
ジップラインはハワイでクロアチアと2つあったのですが、こちらの方がコースが楽しそうだったので私達はこちらを選びました。多分正解でした。

ジップラインを楽しむとともに、スタッフさんの滑走の上手さや仕事ぶりが素晴らしく関心してしまいました。

家族みんな楽しめたと思います。感謝の気持ちを込めて、一緒に回ったスタッフさんで発見できたスタッフさん2名にチップを少しお渡ししました。終了すると休憩に入られるみたいで姿がすぐにいらっしゃる場所が解らなくなりますので、渡したい方はすぐに渡したほうが良いです。
