Reviewed by: Cali girls , 2021/09/04Great tour guide unfortunately I can’t remember the gentleman name now. He is 3rd generation native very knowledgeable of the island. It definitely was a educational and beautiful time. I’m out of shape 51 years women & huffing and puffing but I made it all the way to the waterfall. I guess you could say I earned my photo shot! It is breathtaking the beauty of the whole path and so much green that surrounds you it’s definitely worth it. I just discovered Veltra and I plan to us them again, great service great price & great program.

We’ve had a wonderful memory during the stay at Hawaii, and this activity was one of the most fun event thanks to him.
He has a lot of knowledge about the history, the Anthropology, the sociology, biology of Hawaii and the Japanese culture too! Haha
We really enjoyed knowing them..
We were surprised that he is familiar with Japanese culture, and some part he know better than me. I think he is respectful to other cultures.
This is amazing and we respect him too:)
We miss him and we hope to attend this activity when we visit Hawaii next time.

Honeymoon Getaway

As we drove through the island we were shown some landmarks and famous peoples houses. Once we got to the trail he proved us ponchos which we would come to need. The trail was fantastic. Even in the rain it was our first activity when we arrived and well worth it. Highly recommend people take the time to enjoy the waterfall and see this.

Hawaiian Beauty Hiking Shuttle: Diamond Head & Manoa Falls Jurassic Rainforest
Great hiking trips.
Reviewed by: Happy Hiker, 2019/07/05The trip to Diamond Head in the morning and Manoa Falls in the afternoon left plenty of time to do a round-trip and have time for a snack or rest. Bring water and your camera.
They plan on widening the path to Manoa Falls making it two-way. Can be very slippery and muddy, especially when it rains, which is most of the time. You'll see bare feet, flip-flops, nice sneakers, etc. Good walking shoes recommended. Enjoy the beautiful paintings of the Kings and Queens of Hawaii in the Manoa Falls visitors center.

He made sure everyone was comfortable and got all the pictures they wanted. The walk up to the fall was beautiful, the waterfall was amazing! It was an easy hike but got muddy in a few spots so be careful!

Reviewed by: 匿名希望, 2019/04/28今回初めて参加しました。ずっと行きたかった場所ですが、なんだか行くチャンスがなかったんです。
ここは個人でも訪問することが可能なエリアですが、是非ガイド付きのツアーで行くことをお勧めします。必要なグッズ（ディスポのレインコートや、ウエストポーチ、杖、水、スナックバー等）は準備していただけますし、車中、トレッキング最中も、いろいろ説明してくれます。
今回のガイドさんは基本は英語オンリーですが、たまに日本語もはさんでくれたり、、とにかく飽きさせません。
ワイキキは晴れていても、わずか20分程度離れた距離でも雨がふっていたりします。足元はスニーカーは必須です。
また行きたいな。

Amazing!!!

Sky was extremely knowledgeable and we enjoyed our hike up to the falls. I am also extremely grateful for the walking sticks that were provided. Another thing I loved about the tour was that we were a small intimate group of 12. It made the tour personable. I definitely recommend this tour to those who want to take this hike.

It is rare to learn so much interrelated information (history, politics, economics, biological, environmental and ecological) so clearly in a short time. Our guide Brianna (sp) was bright, humorous and personal. Her knowledge both of Manoa Falls and Honolulu in general was most appreciated. I would strongly recommend this tour.

Reviewed by: Maryann , 2018/10/27I did the Diamond head and Moana hike. Both great! Was picked up in morning a little earlier only because we were out there waiting already. Our driver was friendly and informative of things around town to try. Unfortunately it was our last day there so no time to go and try out. But we had an incident where a women was not happy because a family was late arriving for their pick up ( they said they thought it was somewhere else- so call to confirm but from my experience it’s usually at the entrance of the hotel.) But the lady wasn’t happy cause she was going to miss the sun rise...well driver told her he had to at least give people some time after pick up time to be there. But after all that we were all happy and headed our way. Bring rain jacket if you can to Moana falls hike and good shoes- wet slippery. They have ponchos though just in case. Thanks for the great experience!!! I would use them again next time I come back. Till next time!

RELAXING AND REFRESHING!!! It was great to get away from the city and feel the breeze. Beautiful scenery also.

Please consider having lunch at the rest area in the beginning for restroom break as opposed to the first area. A lot more shade there. Other than that...EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE!!! Hairpin turns, breezes, guides with sense of humor...GREAT TIME!!! I am "Husky" and it did not matter....they had bikes for all types!!! Big people can have a great time also!!!

Well Worth It!!

I have a chronic illness so for us to do this hike together is something that we will cherish forever. Walking, talking, and exploring this rainforest was a big hit. Thank you for offering this. Reviewed by: RCD, 2018/07/19Beautiful hike. Tour guide Jody was informative. Bring repellent, I didn’t even realize I got a few bites! It can get messy if it rains, muddy shoes. There’s so many people, a tour guide is not really needed but the transportation there and back was nice. Also, this was my first hike and also my mother in laws, we did really well. Totally worth it. Lunch was also very good, first time trying vegan food, it was surprisingly filling.

It was a beautiful place to hike and Sky gave us the origins of many of the plants and trees and animals not only living in the rain forest but on the island. The hike itself was pretty easy in most places til getting closer to the falls. It was pretty slippery but every step was worth it. It was simply breathtaking. I definitely recommend Sky as a guide.

Our favorite excursion this trip!
Reviewed by: MegL, 2018/05/29This was a great morning! The hike was mostly very easy, a few slippery parts, and a few muddy parts. It was mostly shaded, and through some extremely beautiful parts of the forest. I strongly recommend this trip! You could do it on your own, the trail is well-marked, but the guide added a lot of great information to it. Wear a little bug spray, bring some old comfortable shoes, and enjoy.

Dianne was incredible, she has been one of the best guides we ever had, she run at our pace, stopping to take amazing photos of the surroundings.
Also she guided us to this amazing streches, so we wouldn´t get injured.
The views alone where amazing, fully recommended for anyone who likes doing some excersise in the morning in the nature.
We recommend this tour and Dianne all the way.
Next time in Oahu we will sure take another running tour.
