I participated in a tour of Manoa Falls✌️
It wasn't just a trek; we learned about the plants along the way, found wild avocados, and touched a mahogany tree. I never knew the surface of a mahogany trunk, which becomes high-end furniture, looked like that (I won't say, so go touch it yourself).
Our guides, Jason and Tomomi, were amazing✨
We had lunch while overlooking Waikiki from Tantalus Hill.
The tuna sandwich from the popular spot, Andy's, was exquisite.
It's such a great deal since you can eat without waiting in line‼️
The view from the hilltop was fantastic, with Diamond Head on the left, the high-rise buildings of Waikiki in the center, and to the right, you could see from Honolulu Airport to Pearl Harbor, as Tomomi said, "half of Oahu Island."
The weather was perfect today, and we could even see Molokai Island faintly in the distance️.
It was a tour where you can feel nature close to Honolulu.

I thought the hike to Manoa Falls would be easy, but the way there was all uphill, and it was quite muddy. There are several breaks along the way, but I was too focused on watching my feet to enjoy the scenery. The humidity was also quite high.

That said, seeing the waterfall was rewarding. It was truly beautiful. White shoes and light-colored pants are not a good idea.

Lunch at Tantalus Lookout was enjoyable.

I finally got to visit Manoa Falls, which I had wanted to see for a long time. I signed up for a Japanese tour, but I was the only Japanese person there. However, the guide was Japanese, and even the English explanations were very easy to understand.

The hike was quite tough, and the walking stick they lent me was very helpful. I wore long sleeves and long pants, but I was sweating a lot along the way. I wanted to take them off, but I was afraid of getting bitten by mosquitoes, so I endured it.

My shoes ended up muddy. There is a place to wash them, so you can get some of the dirt off, but they won't get completely clean, so I think it's best to wear shoes that you don't mind throwing away.

For lunch, we ate on Tantalus Hill while looking at Diamond Head and Waikiki. The view was much nicer than at night.

The sandwich was very delicious. It was from the sandwich shop next to the Starbucks in Manoa.

I'm glad I had such a fun experience.

靴は泥まみれになります。洗う場所もあるので少しは土が落とせますが、ちゃんと綺麗にはならないので捨てても良い靴で行くと良いと思います。
ランチはタンタラスの丘でダイヤモンドヘッドやワイキキを見ながら食べます。夜のタンタラスよりもずっと素敵な景色です。
サンドイッチがとても美味しかったです。
あのマノアのスタバのお隣のサンドイッチ屋さんのものでした。
楽しい経験ができて良かったです。

We had great weather for the day. Diamond Head was a reasonably short hike with an amazing view of the island. Manoa falls was a nice hike through the jungle…was expecting a little more with the falls themselves. Overall great experience though.

We had 2 different drivers, one for DH and one for the waterfall. Both were excellent. They had waters for the end of the trip, and the waterfall driver had bug spray and walking sticks for everyone who needed them. They were both knowledgeable about the trails and gave great tips. Excellent!!

I had a great time. The sandwich we had at Tantalus was also delicious, and I think it was a very good value tour. I would like to participate in a different activity next time. However, I gave it 4 stars because the bracelet I bought from the tour company broke the next day. I was very disappointed because I liked the design.

I received a cancellation notice because the Japanese tour didn't meet the minimum number of participants, but I joined in with an English guide and it was quite fun! I laughed a lot.

The guide talked non-stop like a radio DJ, but I got used to it surprisingly well. Since I'm in a foreign country, this is also acceptable! He spoke to us in slow English, which was nice.

It was raining at Manoa Falls, but the weather was actually quite nice for feeling the essence of Hawaii. The greenery was more vibrant, and the sound of the waterfall was very refreshing.

The ocean is great, but the mountains are nice too.

P.S. I actually participated in a trial tour with Lucky Man, the owner of this tour, four years ago. It's a shame that it seems to no longer exist, but I really enjoyed having a guide who wasn't just focused on tourism. I had hoped to see him again, but it's unfortunate.

I participated in a tour in late October, and it exceeded my expectations! I highly recommend it for those who want to recharge with the energy of nature. Thanks to the tour guide who spoke in both English and Japanese, I was able to enjoy the experience! They share information about the plants, which adds to the excitement! If it's your first time visiting Manoa Falls, definitely consider joining this tour.

As for clothing, I recommend wearing long pants since there are mosquitoes. If you don't have insect repellent spray, the guide will lend you some. I initially wore a lightweight UV parka over my T-shirt, but I started to sweat a bit, so I took it off midway. The ground was a bit muddy from the rain the day before, but my sneakers only got a little dirty. At the end, you can rinse your shoes off with a hose (your socks will get wet, though). Bottled water is provided during lunch. You'll sweat while walking and get thirsty, so don't forget to bring your own water!

After being thoroughly satisfied at Manoa Falls, we headed to Tantalus Lookout. I've participated in night view tours several times, but this was my first time at Tantalus during the day! The view was fantastic! I chose the pastrami sandwich for lunch, and it was a great choice! It was lucky to enjoy a sandwich from a popular local shop without having to wait in line! Both hikes to Diamond head and Manual falls were very good. Diamond head was more strenuous than Manoa falls. I challenged myself by taking the hardest route. Both tours offered water though the one at Diamond head was warm. Walking sticks were offered at Manoa falls which was helpful though I didn't use it. Due to a dry season, there was no falls; completely bone dry which was disappointing. Both drivers were on time, friendly, and informative. Overall, it was a really good self-guided hike and I would do it again but hopefully when the falls are actually flowing.

It was the day after we arrived in Hawaii, but I was able to walk energetically. The group members were friendly, with an equal mix of Japanese and international participants, and the two guides led us in both Japanese and English, making the hike enjoyable.

For those interested in the Manoa Falls tour, I hope you can enjoy the great outdoors without worrying too much about language or history.

質問したら日本語で教えてくれますし、トレッキング中はだんだん団体の間隔がそれぞれのペースで空いてくるので、後半はほとんど解説を聞いてなかったんですが、目の前に広がる大自然と肌に感じる澄んだ空気で全然楽しめました^ ^

I was scheduled to be picked up in front of DFS at 9:25 AM (the van arrived more than 10 minutes late). After that, we went around several hotels in the Waikiki area, including the Marriott, and for some reason, at 10:25 AM, I was taken to a travel agency office just a minute's walk from DFS, where I was shown souvenirs.

I felt there was absolutely no need to stop by the office, and if they really wanted to make a stop there, it would have been better to gather everyone at the office at 10:25 AM instead. If they are considering Japanese tourists as well, I think they should improve the logistics in that regard.

Visiting Manoa Falls and Tantalus was worthwhile, and the pastrami for lunch was delicious. However, since I wasted an hour in the morning, it left a very negative impression of the tour.

I wish that the tour gave a bit more time as I felt a bit rushed at the top of Diamondhead. As well note that Diamondheads trail is pretty unpaved and rocky.

The hikes were beautiful and it was wonderful to have the transportation and tickets taken care of. The shuttle picked us up and dropped us off right next to our hotel. We got to meet some great people and have some laughs. We highly recommend this company.

Honolulu Downhill Bike Tour, Secret Waterfall Hike & Waikiki Snorkel Sail Combo

Waterfall hike first and bike ride second; good combo.

The hike was VERY muddy! Not so much of the mud being a nuisance, as much as the slippery parts. Then cooling off with downhill bike ride with scenic views of Waikiki and Honolulu, even Pearl city. We enjoyed our time.

I booked this tour with a Japanese guide because my husband doesn't speak English, but the guide and the other participants were all from English-speaking countries and knew zero Japanese. The tour itself was enjoyable, but I was a bit surprised.

旦那さんが英語を話せないので日本語ガイド付きのこちらのツアーを予約しましたが、ガイドおよびツアー参加者が英語圏の方で、日本語はゼロ。ツアー自体は楽しかったですが、少しびっくりしました。
