I had a great time horseback riding at Kualoa Ranch, where vast landscapes spread out before you. It's a bit of a distance to Kualoa Ranch, but it's worth the trip. It was unfortunate that the weather was cloudy and windy, but I think the views would be clear and beautiful on a sunny day. I thought I might get tired after two hours, but I didn't feel tired at all; the fun outweighed everything.

広大な景色が広がるクアロア牧場での乗馬体験とても楽しかったです。クアロア牧場まで距離はありますが、行く価値あります。天気が曇りで風が強かったのが残念でしたが、晴れだったら景色も澄んでて綺麗だと思いました。2時間で疲れるかなと思いましたが、全然疲れなく、楽しいが勝ちました。

I don't really recommend winter. The weather is bad, and it gets cold when it rains. Also, when it rains, it's not really suitable for exploring Kailua. Going without a guide is truly free, but I definitely recommend going with a guide for those who are inexperienced. My mother, who participated with me and is inexperienced, had to retire due to the bad weather. Everyone at the shops was kind and nice! I want to go again in the summer for a revenge trip.

冬はあまりおすすめしません。天気が悪く、雨が降ると寒いです。また、雨が降るとカイルア散策どころではありません。ガイドなしは本当にフリーなので、未経験者は絶対にガイド付きをおすすめします。一緒に参加した母は未経験、悪天候のためリタイアしました。ショップの方はみなさん優しくて良い方ばかりです！夏にもう一度行ってリベンジしたいです。

The sandbar itself doesn’t offer much to do, but it was a very beautiful place. It’s worth visiting at least once. I also thoroughly enjoyed the sea turtle watching and snorkeling. However, while there were no issues during snorkeling, it was quite cold after getting out, and I was shivering. But the hot cocoa they served at that time was really delicious. The timing was just right, and I was able to enjoy various activities, which was great.

サンドバー自体は特に何をするというわけではないですが、とてもきれいな場所でした。一度は行ってみると良いです。
ウミガメウォッチングやシュノーケリングも十分楽しめました。
ただ、シュノーケリング中は問題ありませんが、出たあとは、季節的に寒く、ぶるぶると震えていまうほどでしたが、その時に出させたホットココアがてとっても美味しかったです。時間的にもちょうどよく、いろいろ楽しめたのがよかったです。

2-Hour Horseback Riding Course

Unfortunately, it was raining quite heavily...
I wanted to cancel, but I couldn't.
I went wearing a raincoat.

The horses were very cute and it was fun!

I got completely soaked from the rain, and without a towel, waiting for about an hour for the bus in the cold was hell.
I really wished they had towels available...

Even though the horseback riding was scheduled for 11:00, I was picked up at 6:50 in the morning for some reason.
It took 45 minutes to get to Kualoa Ranch.
That left us with almost four hours of free time.

There are places to eat, but there were very few chairs indoors.

The horseback riding ended at 13:00, and the next bus was at 14:30, so we had to wait again.

I wish they had provided information about the bus schedule before making the reservation.

I recommend booking without transportation and using Uber or a taxi to get there.

The horses were adorable, and the scenery was amazing.
It would be perfect to go on a sunny day!

カッパを着て行いました。

馬はとても可愛くて楽しかった！


雨でびしょ濡れになり、タオルもなく、
寒いなか１時間くらいバスを待つ時間が地獄でした。
タオルとか貸して欲しかった…

11:00からの乗馬なのに、
なぜか朝の6:50にピックアップ。
クアロア牧場までは45分。
４時間弱の暇。

ご飯食べるところはあるけど、室内は椅子が少なかった

13:00に乗馬終わり、次のバスは14:30
ここでも待ち時間。

バスの時間についても予約前に記載しておいてほしかった。

送迎なしで予約して、Uberなどタクシー使っていくのがおすすめ。

We rode in a five-seater car with two people! Along the way, we stopped at a spot with stunning scenery to take plenty of photos and switched drivers. With just one person, you can't take photos while driving, so it was definitely better with two!

As advice, be aware that dust can get on your face and nostrils, making them dirty, and there can be sudden downpours along the way. It's a good idea to have a mask or a handkerchief to cover your mouth and nose! Protective glasses and camouflage ponchos are available for rent. Even if it’s not raining when you set off, it’s better to borrow them. The rain can come on suddenly and be very heavy.

I previously experienced a horseback riding course, but this time we went to a different location, allowing us to see another side of Kualoa. It’s truly a place I love and can enjoy no matter how many times I visit!

5人乗りを二人で乗りました！途中、景色が素晴らしい所で車を降りて写真を思う存分撮影し、運転も交代しました。
一人乗りだと運転してる時は写真が撮れない為、結果、二人乗り良かったです！
アドバイスとして、顔と鼻の穴に砂ぼこりが付いて黒くなったり、途中に土砂降りの雨やら‥なので、マスクもしくは、ハンカチなので口と鼻をおおえる物があるといいです！保護メガネと迷彩のポンチョはレンタルあります！出発するとき雨が降ってなくても借りたほうがいいです。本当に突然激しい雨が降ります。
以前乗馬コースを体験しましたが、そのコースとはまた違う場所に行けて、クアロアのまた違う景色が見れたので本当に何回行っても楽しめる、大好きな場所です！

Our guide was fantastic, he told us all kinds of information about the landscape and surrounding area. The trail was beautiful as were the views and the blowhole was super cool. Hanauma bay was gorgeous, unfortunately we didnt get to snorkel because they had to close the bay down due to multiple jellyfish stings, but our guide was accommodating and came back early to get us.

It was a fun tour, but it was cold. Next time, I will bring warm clothing. The guide was a fun person.

I knew from the pre-check that the water level wasn't too low, so I didn't have high expectations, but I was really glad to see a manta swimming for the first time.
The hamburger for lunch was very delicious, and I was impressed.
I recommend this BBQ tour.
The weather was partly sunny and cloudy, but it felt quite cold, so it might be better to have something to wear over your clothes.

事前のチェックで、水位はそんなに低くない事が分かっていたので、あまり期待は大きくなかったのですが、マンタが泳いでいるのを初めて見れて良かったです
ランチのハンバーガーがとても美味しくて感激しました
このBBQ付きのツアーはお勧めです
晴れ時々曇りの天気でしたが、だいぶ寒く感じたので、羽織るものがあった方が良いかもしれません

For an additional $10, you can also rent a bicycle, which is great since it's close to Kailua Beach. You can also extend your visit to Lanikai Beach and go to town. This time I only had beach items, but next time I want to try kayaking or stand-up paddleboarding.

プラス$10で、自転車も借りる事が出来、カイルアビーチに近くて良かったです。
ラニカイビーチにも足を伸ばせますし、タウンにも行けます。
今回はビーチアイテムのみでしたが、次回はカヤックかスタンドアップバトルボードに挑戦してみたいです。

Our guide Lani was very fun and knowledgeable. She has worked there food 28yrs. We were able to see a lot of areas where films as TV shows were shot. We highly recommend it.

I participated in January! The staff on the boat were really great! However, it was too cold due to the season. It took a lot of determination to get into the sea. We saw a lot of turtles, and the kids seemed to have a lot of fun. I think we could have enjoyed it even more if the weather had been better!

亀はほんとにたくさん見えて子どもは楽しそうにしてました。季節がよければもっと楽しめたなと思いました！

The scenery was amazing, and the weather was great—I want to do it again! It was a shame that the seat on the horse was hard, and my leg bones started to hurt. I would be happy if there was a soft cushion available!

It was great. Very informative and professional tour guide. They were filming the movie Jumanji while we were at the falls.

Great experience and beautiful views! The sand bar was incredible. We had a full days trip, but we didn't need that much time. I would recommend a half day for future participants.

It has been my dream to go horseback riding in Hawaii with my family, and it finally came true. I was wondering if we could ride for two hours, but with the breathtaking scenery and the well-behaved horses, I felt no anxiety, and the time flew by. The facilities were all clean, and the hamburgers and acai bowls we had afterward were delicious! I will never forget the relaxing view I had while riding the horse.

家族でハワイで乗馬をするのが夢で、それが叶いました。
2時間も出来るかなと思っていましたが、圧巻の景色と優等生な馬に乗って何にも不安はなくあっという間でした。
施設はどこも綺麗で、終わってから食べたハンバーガーやアサイーボールも美味しかったです！
ゆったりと馬に乗って見れたあの景色は一生忘れません。

The crew was amazing and so was the tour. We honestly wanted to pay to do it again. The sandbar was so awesome and snorkeling was so much fun. It was the best experience we had on the island. My husband and I had our first experience with SUP. The instructor, Mieko, provided thorough explanations, allowing us to feel at ease during the experience. Following her advice to jump sideways instead of forward when falling for safety, my husband jumped sideways quite well.

Although the weather had been bad until the day before, we were fortunate that the conditions were great on the day itself. While paddling and enjoying the natural scenery of the clear sea and distant mountains, we quickly arrived at the island offshore.

Thank you for taking photos as well. They became a wonderful keepsake. I would love to try it again if the opportunity arises!

主人と二人でSUP初体験でした。
インストラクターのミエコさんに丁寧に説明していただき、安心して体験できました。
落ちる時は安全のために前でなくて横にジャンプして！のアドバイス通り、主人はしっかり横ジャンプしてました。

前日まで天候が悪かったそうですが、当日は幸運にもコンディションは良好で、透明な海や遠くに見える山々など自然の景色を眺めながらパドルを動かしていたらあっという間に沖の島に到着しました。

写真も撮っていただいてありがとうございます。とても良い記念になりました。機会があればまたやってみたいです♪

I chose a 2-hour horseback riding course, and there was guidance in Japanese. The horses were very smart, allowing me to fully enjoy the scenery. There are coin lockers available, so it's fine even if you have a bit of luggage.

2時間の乗馬コースを選択しましたが、日本語のガイダンスもあり、馬もとても利口だったので景色を十分に堪能できました。コインロッカーがあるので、荷物が少しあっても大丈夫です。

There is also a Japanese explanation video available, so you can understand the important points in advance. There are lockers where you can store valuables and backpacks. During horseback riding, you cannot carry anything larger than a small pouch, but you can place items like a camera or wallet in a pocket on the saddle that hangs on the sides. Basically, you will be hands-free while on the horse (it's better to minimize your belongings).

The female instructor knew some basic Japanese phrases like "Pull the reins!" This allowed many Japanese participants, who hardly understood English, to join in.

Kualoa Ranch is spacious and magnificent. While passing through the forest, you might encounter a family of wild boars or a herd of free-range cows, which adds a heartwarming touch. There were also people on buggy and 4WD tours at Kualoa Ranch, and we greeted each other from horseback.

It was a two-hour experience filled with the beauty of the sea, mountains, land, and forests.

日本語の説明ビデオもあるので事前に、注意点は把握して臨むことができます。ロッカーもあるので貴重品やリュックなど入れておけます。乗馬中は、小さなポシェットのようなサイズでも携帯できませんが、カメラやお財布くらいならは、馬の鞍に左右に引っ掛けるポケットのようなものに入れることはできます。基本、馬上は、手ぶらになります。（荷物は少なくした方がよさそう）

インストラクターの女性は、「手綱引っ張ってー」など片言だけど必要最低限の日本語を覚えてました。そのせいか、英語のほとんどわからない日本人も多く参加してました。

クアロアランチは、広々と壮大の一言。途中森林の中を抜けるときは、イノシシの親子や飼いっぱなしの牛の群などにも出会いほのぼの。
同じクアロアランチでバギーや４WDのツアーの人たちもいて馬上から眺めて挨拶。

海と山、大地、森林自然をたっぷり体感できる2時間でした。

I had a horseback riding experience that took us around locations from a two-hour movie. At first, I was really scared. Horses have emotions and personalities too, after all! I encountered a free-spirited horse named Goobee, and I was able to have various experiences while being guided by a staff member. Since it was January, we encountered some rain, but my UNIQLO Pocketable Parka came in handy, so I recommend it for those who want to experience this during the rainy season. If it rains from the start, it seems there are rental items available as well. You can only bring your phone or a waist pouch, probably to avoid any hindrance while the horse is running. There are also paid lockers available for other belongings ($5), and only $1 to $5 bills are accepted. Although it was only about two hours, I really felt how free my daily life is. I experienced all kinds of emotions with the horse, felt the great outdoors, and had a fulfilling experience that I can't get in my everyday life!

2時間の映画ロケーションなどを巡る、乗馬体験をしました。とにかく最初は怖かったです。馬とはいえど感情も持っていますし個性もあります笑っ リードされるお姉さんが見てないと自由奔放なgoobeeという馬と廻り合い、様々な体験が出来ました。1月でしたのでたまに雨に遭遇しました、UNIQLOのPOCKETABLE Parkarが役に立ちましたので雨季に体験される方にオススメです。雨が最初から降っていれば、貸し出し用の物もあるみたいです。携帯のみ持ち込めます、またはウエストポーチは持ち込めます。馬が走るのでその際に邪魔にならないためかと思います。その他の荷物はロッカー有料（5ドル）もあります。（1ドル札～5ドル札のみ使用可能）2時間ほどでしたが、日頃いかに自由な生活をしているのかを感じました、私は馬と共に喜怒哀楽全てを経験し、大自然を感じ、日常で体験出来ない感情と体験が出来大満足です！

This was my second time participating. The free time was long, and the explanations on-site were easy to understand, which was reassuring. Having lockers and changing rooms was really helpful. I was happy to eat the pizza again, which was very delicious last time. I had planned to ride my bike to the city, but I was caught in heavy rain, so I gave up on renting a bike this time. However, I would like to try biking next time!

２回目の参加でした。自由時間が長く、現地での説明が分かりやすいので安心です。ロッカーや更衣室があるのは本当に助かります。
前回とても美味しかったピザを、また食べられて嬉しかったです。自転車で街まで行く予定でしたが、大雨に降られてしまったので今回は自転車レンタルを断念しましたが、次の機会には自転車で行動してみたいです！

It was cloudy, but quite cold. Those planning to go at the end of the year should be careful. The water clarity was a bit murky, but when I looked in while snorkeling, I could see many fish swimming around.

曇りでしたが、かなり寒かったです。年末に行く方は注意してください。
海の透明度は少し濁りぎみでしたが、シュノーケリング時覗き込むと魚がたくさん泳いでるのが見えました。

The sandbar was quite cold in winter, with water levels up to an adult's waist.

I was able to see sea turtles!

Also, the hamburger for lunch was delicious.

I'm glad I was able to take a lot of photos.

Riding while feeling the nature was a valuable experience. The 2-hour course was more than enough to enjoy it. Basically, you control the horse by yourself, but since the horses are trained, they follow the horse in front of them. When they occasionally stray off the path, the ranch staff provides support, which is reassuring. My family, who had only experienced riding with someone pulling the reins, was initially scared, but they soon got used to it and enjoyed themselves. I would like to participate again!

自然を感じながらの乗馬は貴重な経験になりました。2時間コースで十分満喫できました。基本的には1人で馬を操作しますが、馬は調教されているので、前の馬について進んでくれます。時々みち草したりするときは、牧場スタッフがサポートしてくれるので安心です。手綱を引いてもらっての乗馬経験しかなかった家族は最初怖がっていましたが、そのうち慣れて楽しんでいました。また参加したいと思います！

Although it was unfortunately rainy, the staff created a fun atmosphere and kept the spirits high. The sandbar, even under cloudy skies, had shallow areas with different colors of seawater, creating a unique sensation that you don't find in Japan. I was able to see many sea turtles, and while snorkeling, I saw plenty of coral reefs and fish. The BBQ hamburger was incredibly delicious, truly embodying the experience of having a hamburger at an American BBQ. I would love to go back on a sunny day.

あいにくの雨でしたが、スタッフの方々が盛り上げてくれて楽しい雰囲気を作ってくれてました。
サンドバーは曇っていても深い海の中に海水の色が違う浅瀬が、日本にはない不思議な感覚になり楽しく、ウミガメも沢山見ることが出来、シュノーケリングでも珊瑚礁や魚を沢山見ることが出来ました。
そして、BBQハンバーガーは「これがアメリカのBBQで食べるハンバーガー」ってかんじで大変美味しかったです。
晴れた日にもう一度行きたいです。

It was so good that it might be my most memorable experience in Hawaii! The staff was friendly and approachable, which made it easy to relax and enjoy! During the buggy ride, we could take photos in the mountains, and with the use of a Tyrannosaurus, the pictures looked like we were about to be eaten, making it perfect for creating memories! I would love to use this service again when I visit Hawaii!

The weather was bad and cold, so the water's clarity was poor, which was a bit disappointing... However, I found that getting into the sea was a little warmer than being on the boat.

I was satisfied because I saw plenty of fish and turtles! 😊

天気が悪い上に寒かったので、海の透明度も悪く、少しがっかり…。
ただ、船の上にいるより、思い切って海へ入ったほうが少し暖かい。

My first time in Hawaii, my first time SUPing. The weather was bad and there was wind, so it turned into a river experience. It was cloudy, but it didn't rain, so that was good enough. The explanations were easy to understand, and I got to take a lot of photos, creating great memories. I also rented a bike, and although it was tough to get to my target pancake place and Lanikai Beach, I achieved my goal! If I could wish for anything, I would have liked one more hour of free time. Next time, I want to try it on a sunny summer day. Thank you, Emiko!

初めてのハワイ、初めてのS U P。天気が悪くて風もあり川での体験になりました。曇ってたけど雨は降らなかったからそれだけでも良かったです。説明も分かりやすく写真も沢山撮って頂いていい思い出が出来ました。自転車も借りてお目当てのパンケーキ、ラニカイビーチと移動が大変でしたが目的達成！欲を言えばあと1時間自由行動が欲しかったです。今度は夏の天気のいい日にトライしたいです。エミコさんありがとうございました。
