The cruise on Friday was great because we could see fireworks from the venue. It's not often that you get to see fireworks from the sea! The food was delicious too. It was a fun night, thanks to the staff who really got everyone excited.

The Rock-a-Hula show featured a performer who looked just like Presley, and the singing and dancing were great. As a fan service, they came up to the second floor and shook hands with each person.

Since it was a catamaran, I didn't have to worry about seasickness and enjoyed plenty of free drinks like Mai Tais and champagne. I wish I had brought some snacks... The scenery is wonderful. It's romantic. As we got closer to Diamond Head, there was a lot of noise with dancing and singing to the music. It was about an hour, but it was fun. We took commemorative photos before boarding and bought them on the way back.

カタマランなので、船酔いの心配もなくフリードリンクのマイタイやシャンパンを沢山頂きました。おつまみ持参すれば良かったかな・・・

We were guided for priority entry by a suited manager in front of the waiting crowd when it was time to enter. We took cocktails and commemorative photos in the green room, and also borrowed costumes to take more commemorative photos backstage. The backstage tour was fun. Our table was in front of the stage, and the food was delicious. We ordered a celebratory cake, but we couldn't finish it, so we had it packed in a cake box to take home. After the show, we took many more commemorative photos. The show included both a variety show and performances featuring Michael and Elvis, which were enjoyable.

The show was enjoyable and good, but to see the view, it's best to go to the top deck, which makes it difficult to enjoy both the show and the scenery.

I was able to make a reservation at a lower price than other sites. Since I was unsure about the roads, I requested a pickup from the hotel to the location. On the first day I arrived in Honolulu, I checked into the hotel at 3 PM and it was just right to take a little break until 4 PM before heading out. I chose the cheapest buffet plan, but the food was delicious, and the Polynesian dance show was impressive and wonderful, leaving me very satisfied.

The fireworks were shorter than I expected (about 5 minutes), so I thought it might not have been necessary to take the boat just for that. However, the atmosphere on the boat with the dining, dancing, and performances, as well as the night view, was very nice. I got seasick as soon as we boarded and couldn't move from my seat much, but the staff was very attentive and considerate. They took photos during boarding and would come around to sell them later. We decided to have the data sent to us via email, but there was no Wi-Fi on the boat, so I couldn't confirm the data reception. this boat ride was absolutely amazing. I would do it again. I loved that you can book it all online and show up the day of, super easy. I called them to get clarification and they were more than helpful. The ride was more than expected. Both of the guys working were energetic and funny. They made the ride very fun, while still giving everyone their own time to hang out and take photos. The open bar was obviously a great perk also. I really enjoyed the sunset cruise and would love to try one of the other ones they do.

On Friday night, there were fireworks, so since I had come on a trip, I made an early reservation for this tour to watch the sunset and enjoy Hawaiian music while viewing the fireworks from the boat.
My biggest concern was the boat rocking. I tend to get motion sickness, so I took medication, but as the sun set, the wind picked up quite a bit, and the boat rocked a lot. However, while watching the cheerful Hawaiian songs and dances inside the boat, it quickly became time for the fireworks. The moon was very beautiful that night, and it was wonderful.
The food was also great; my son had chicken and devoured it, saying it was delicious. I had lobster, which was too big for me to finish.
Since I didn't book through a travel agency like JTB or HIS, I was honestly worried about whether my reservation was properly made when I arrived at the crowded meeting place. It was convenient because I had an e-voucher and it was ticketless. I highly recommend this if you're going to Hawaii at least once.

I found a tour where you can enjoy a meal while watching a hula dance show, which was my mother's wish. I was very satisfied with both the content of the show and the seats we were given. The meal was a buffet, and everything was delicious. There were many participants, so there was a line to get food, and we had to wait quite a bit, but while waiting, we were able to see the sunset, so it wasn't too tiring. The show was mostly in English. There were more Western guests than Asian ones, which was nice in a way that felt less typically Hawaiian.

Since I had a golden seat, I was able to see well from the second or third row. Perhaps because it was outdoors in January, it was cold when the wind blew, and my body got chilly. Maybe it's better to wear warm clothes even in Hawaii when outdoors?!

Regarding the food, since I was cold, there were many cold dishes that didn't suit my taste. Personally, I found the outdoor show at the Royal Hawaiian Hotel to be more wonderful, and the food was better, so I rated the Hilton show three stars.

Two years ago, in 2015, my family and I experienced the same tour course and had a great time, so I thought it would definitely be enjoyable for our honeymoon trip as well and signed up.

However, when we actually went on the day, the content was completely different from two years ago, and I couldn't enjoy it.

Considering just this time, I booked a lower-priced, casual course, so I can see how it might be appropriate for that. However, I was very disappointed because I was expecting the enjoyable experience from two years ago. I thought there might have been a mistake and that I had booked a different rank of course, but upon checking, it was indeed the same course. I wish I could get my money and time back.

To explain this year's experience specifically:
Location: It was on the first floor of the boat, at the tail end, in a space that was indented in the center, so I couldn't see the whole thing and it felt cramped.
Show: The hula dancers in costumes performed for only about 15 minutes, and then it turned into something like a presentation by the serving staff, followed by an elderly man's ukulele show (just karaoke level). There were also some participatory elements. (By the time the hula and other performances were happening, it was already dark, and we couldn't see the sunset.)
Food: I wasn't expecting much, but even so, there were very few dishes, and I was really disappointed.

Two years ago, we were seated on the first floor of the boat, in the central area, which was spacious and allowed us to see the whole performance. The show featured men and women in authentic costumes performing hula and dances one after another, and sometimes the serving staff would dance as well. 今年の内容を具体的に説明すると、
場所　　：船の一階、尾の部分だったのか中央に凹の形の空間で、全体は見渡せず、手狭でした。
ショー　：衣装を着たフラや踊りは15分ほどしかなく、あとは給仕スタッフの発表会のようなもの、老齢の男性のウクレレショー（カラオケ程度）が続きました。
参加型のものもありました。
（フラなどの出し物があっているまにすっかり日がおち、サンセットは見れませんでした）
ごはん　：期待はしていなかったのですが、それにしても品数も少なく、本当にがっかりでした。

２年前は船の1階、中央部分、広く全体が見渡せる席でした。
ショーも、本格的な衣装を着た男性・女性が次々にフラダンスや踊りを披露してくれ、ときに給仕のスタッフの子が踊ったり、参加型のイベントもとても楽しかったです。

次回の参加は考えられません。
