The local staff really boosted the atmosphere, and I felt a sense of unity with the other guests who were also trying this for the first time. It was so much fun! Once we were up in the sky, all the fear disappeared, and it felt absolutely amazing!

I had a horseback riding experience with my husband. On the day we made our reservation, it was canceled due to heavy rain the day before, but we were able to quickly reschedule and go horseback riding. I had previously ridden at a different place, but this one felt more homey, and the instructor was very nice. They taught us how to ride and handle the horses in a clear and thorough manner. The course took us through the great outdoors for just under an hour. We saw some cute cows along the way. We also had a view of the ocean. Unlike the previous riding place, we were able to stop along the way for photo opportunities. If I have the chance to go to Hawaii again, I would love to visit this riding stable again.

主人と一緒に乗馬体験をしました。予約した日、前日は大雨でキャンセルになりましたが、直ぐに予約を取り直し乗馬をする事ができました。以前は違う所でしましたがこちらの方がアットホームで、インストラクターの方もとても良い方でした。丁寧に乗り方,馬の操り方を分かりやすく教えて下さいました。コースは大自然の中を1時間弱回りました。途中に牛がいてとても可愛かったです。海が見渡せました。以前の乗馬場ではなかった途中で止まって写真撮影もしておただけました。又ハワイに行く機会があればこちらの乗馬場に再度お邪魔したいです

The scenery was absolutely amazing! It ended in the blink of an eye, so I was a bit disappointed that I wanted to enjoy it a little longer!

At first, everything was new and I was anxious, but everyone was very nice and I enjoyed it until the end! The 120m was very high, but I was able to see the scenery and it felt great! Next, I definitely want to challenge myself to the 150m! They also took a lot of photos, and I was very satisfied!

The weather was nice, and thanks to our guide, we were able to enjoy ourselves until the end. Unfortunately, we didn't get to see any sea turtles, but we were able to see quite a variety of colorful fish.

天気も良く、ガイドのかたのおかげで最後まで楽しませてもらえました。海ガメには残念ながら会えませんでしたが色とりどりの魚を結構見れました。

I thought it was a bit too simple for the price. I also think the photos could be a bit cheaper. It was backlit, after all.
However, I think it was nice that it was a place where you could enjoy yourself in a short amount of time.

料金の割には、シンプル過ぎるかなと思いました。写真ももう少し安くてもいーかなと。逆光でしたし。
でも、短時間で楽しめる所は良かったと思います。

It was the best experience with beautiful weather amidst the vast scenery. The horse I rode was very well-behaved and easy to ride, and I hope to see that horse again next time. Until then, I will work hard.

First time booking a tour when visiting Oahu and was pleased with this company. Price was very reasonable especially because it includes transportation and advance tickets to USS Arizona. Bus was very spacious & clean & comfortable & on time! Our driver, John, was very pleasant & professional. Knocked off 1 star because I wish there was more time spent touring downtown. I thought this tour included Chinatown but we didn't even get close nor was it even mentioned. Honestly, Honolulu is not so big that more time can't be spent exploring. Overall, a very nice experience, mahalo!

At the beginning, they asked, "Is it okay to do a Japon?" (laughs)
It's the one where you fall into the water when you come back.
I was trying to take pictures of the scenery at the start, so I unexpectedly did a Japon too! (laughs)
I was a bit anxious since it was my first time, but the view was great and it was amazing! ☆
The driver understood a little Japanese, but everyone was friendly and it was fun!
I took about 70 photos for $30. They ask you at the beginning, so it's definitely better to buy them!
I gave a $10 tip each to the two guys on the boat and the driver.

飛び始めに景色を撮ろうと携帯を触ってたせいか、不意のジャポンもされました！！笑
初めてなので不安だったけど、景色も良く見えて最高でした☆
車のドライバーさんが日本語少し分かるくらいでしたがみんな気さくで楽しかったです！
写真は70枚程で30$。初めに聞かれるので絶対に買ったほうが良いです！
チップは、ボートでの彼ら2名、車のドライバーさんに10$づつ渡しました。

The parasailing itself was great, but out of 10 participants (5 pairs), 3 people were throwing up on the boat after flying, so I recommend taking motion sickness medication before participating!

パラセイリング自体はとても良かったですが、参加者10人(5組)中、3人は飛んだ後に船で吐きまくりだったので、酔い止めを飲んで参加することをお勧めします！

we were fortunate to see 2 species of dolphins, a humpback whale and sea turtles! The 3 women who were on board- the photographer, the captain, and our tour guide were all super friendly and knowledgeable. If you are looking to see Koran of fish in the water and sea life, this is not the tour but if you are looking to see some mammals and hop in the Ayer from time to time then this is it!

Loved it! We saw turtles, dolphins, tons of fish and the wide open sea!

This is a “must do” activity. You can spend an entire day, or just a few hours. We ended up spending about 6:00 hours and loved every bit. Go early, as the crowds are not bad in the mornings before 9:00.

Due to strong winds for two consecutive days, we had to turn back from the sea, but on the third try, we finally experienced parasailing in the best conditions. I brought my camera to take pictures while ascending, but I was so captivated by the scenery that I didn't take many photos. I'm glad I asked the staff to take pictures for me; they took about 200 photos for just $30.

2日連続の強風で海上で中止引き返しましたが、三度目の正直で最高のコンディションでパラセーリングを経験出来ました。
写真を撮ろうとカメラを持って上昇しましたが、景色に見とれてあんまり撮れず、スタッフにカメラ撮影を頼んで良かったです。30ドルで約200枚撮ってくれました。

Lovely hike! The water and hiking stick as well as the bug spray that was provided, was greatly appreciated.

I had a very good seat right in front of the show stage, which allowed me to enjoy the performance up close and fully experience the Hawaiian atmosphere. The performers also came down to the audience to shake hands and distribute gifts, showing great hospitality, which made it a lot of fun. The fire dance was intense enough to feel the heat of the flames, and it was impressive and entertaining! After the show, I was able to take photos with the performers as well. Thank you very much.

席がショーステージの目の前で、非常に良い席だったため、間近でパフォーマンスを見ることができ、ハワイ感を満喫することができました。
パフォーマーの方々も客席まで降りてきて握手をして下さったりプレゼントを配っていたりなど、サービス精神が高く、とても楽しかったです。
ファイヤーダンスは火の熱さを感じるほどで迫力もあり、面白かったです！
ショーの後はパフォーマーの方々と写真を撮ることもできました。ありがとうございました。

Had a ton of fun at Bobs underwater scooter adventure. The crew was funny and friendly and made the trip safe and memorable. I would recommend this to anyone coming to Oahu who loves tropical fish. I got to hold a giant sea star while the guide took my picture. It was awesome.

Although the weather was unfortunate, thanks to Dan and Chieko, I was able to meet the sea turtles I had always wanted to see and had the best time! They also recommended a restaurant, which was very delicious. Thank you so much!

I participated with my son, a first grader who loves sharks, and my family. I was worried about the high waves, but we were able to see plenty of sharks while wearing life jackets. The gaps in the cage were quite wide, making it seem like a child could easily slip through, which was quite terrifying as a parent. However, my child held on tightly to the bars of the cage, so it was okay. One of the Spanish women who entered the cage with us wore water shoes, and they hit my body hard, which was very painful. Everyone is supposed to take off their sandals and shoes before boarding the boat, but it seems that this was overlooked. It's best to be cautious and check if the people in your group are wearing shoes or sandals. Other than that, I was very satisfied.

サメ好きの小学校1年生の息子と家族で参加しました。波が高くてどうなることかと思いましたが、ライフジャケットを着せてたっぷりサメを見れました。ゲージの隙間がかなり広くて、子供は容易にすり抜けられそうなほどでしたので、親としてはかなり恐怖でしたが、子供はしっかりゲージのバーにつかまっていたので、大丈夫でした。一緒にゲージに入ったスペイン人の女性の一人が、あろうことかウォーターシューズを履いて入ったので、靴ががんがん身体にあたってとっても痛かったです。船に乗船するときサンダルや靴はすべて脱いで入っているはずなのに、漏れていたようです。一緒に入るグループの人が靴やサンダルを履いていないかどうか、気を付けていたほうがいいです。それ以外は大満足でした。

I was looking forward to the blue sky and blue sea, but...
I was really disappointed by the terrible weather.
The rain and the extreme cold even made me feel unwell...
Later, when I was talking to a local taxi driver, he sympathized with me, saying it was unfortunate to go during a time of heavy rain that happens once every ten years.
Well, it was disappointing, but since it's nature, there's nothing we can do about it.
However, the staff must have been cold too, yet they worked hard to cheer us up by getting into the sea with bright smiles.
This time, the weather was the worst, but the tour itself was really great, and if I have the chance to go to Hawaii again, I definitely want to try again.
After all, it's a wonderful opportunity to experience such amazing nature.

This time I give it two stars, but if the weather had been good, it would have been five stars.

青い空、青い海を期待しての参加だったのに・・・
最悪の天気でガッカリでした。
雨と、あまりの寒さに体調までくずし・・・
後日、地元のタクシーの運転手と話しをしていたところ、10年に一度の大雨みたいな時に行くなんて残念だったね、と同情されました。
まあ、残念ではありましたが、これも自然相手なので仕方がないな、と思うしかありませんね。
しかしスタッフの人達も寒かったはずなのに、一緒に海に入り明るい笑顔で盛り上げてくれるなど一生懸命に頑張っておられました。
今回は、天気の都合で最悪でしたが、ツアー事態は大変良く、またハワイに行く機会が有りましたら、絶対再チャレンジしたいと思います。
なんと言ってもすばらしい自然に触れられるのですからね。

今回は星2つですが、天気さえよければ5つ星です。

The food was only ok. Service was very good. show was great! We had some wind which made some waves, so the boat was rocking a bit. Our server came around to ask if anyone was feeling seasick. Thankfully, no one in our group was.

I tried parasailing for the first time on my honeymoon. I have a fear of heights and don't handle thrills well, so I chose the 130m option. I was captivated by the beautiful scenery and the clear ocean, so I didn't feel scared and genuinely enjoyed it! However, I found it a bit scary to let go of the belt, so I think it's better to leave the photos during parasailing to someone who isn't afraid of heights.

We were the only Japanese people there, but thanks to the cheerful instructor, we didn't have any issues. We opted for the shuttle service, but if the hotel is within walking distance to the meeting point, it might have been nice to enjoy the beach on the way there and back without the shuttle.

It went by in a flash, but it became a wonderful memory! I want to do it again!

新婚旅行で初めてのパラセーリングに挑戦しました。高所恐怖症&絶叫苦手なので130m。
素敵な景色と綺麗な海に魅力されて、怖さは感じず素直に楽しめました♫
ただ、ベルトから手を離すのは少し怖かったのでパラセーリング中の写真は高所恐怖症じゃない方に任せた方がいいと思いました^ ^;
日本人は私達しかいませんでしたが、ノリの良いインストラクターさんのおかげで何も困ることはありませんでした。
送迎ありにしましたが、集合場所に歩いて行けるホテルであれば、行き帰りにビーチを楽しめるので送迎無しでも良かったかなと思いました。
あっという間でしたが、素敵な思い出になりました！またやりたい！

Two years ago, I went to Hanauma Bay on a different guided tour, but my 4-year-old daughter was unhappy, and we didn't get to see any turtles, so this time we made a comeback! The guides took great care of my daughter, and we were able to enjoy snorkeling with peace of mind! We also got to see turtles, which was amazing! I highly recommend it!

二年前にハナウマ湾へ別のガイドツアーで行きましたが、4歳だった娘は嫌がり、亀さんも見られず残念だったので、今回リベンジしました！娘のこともしっかりフォローしてくださり、安心してシュノーケリングを楽しむことができました！亀さんも見られて、最高でした！オススメです！！

I booked this horseback riding tour because my boyfriend has expressed how much he has always wanted to ride a horse. I did a quick search and Veltra had this awesome offer for a 2-for-1 which I found perfect as a surprise for him! I booked it and got confirmation very quickly.
We were coming from Honolulu so the drive took about an hour. Our booking was at 2pm and check-in was at 1:30pm. The early check-in was for the explanation of the liability and consent form while they prepared the horses. There was the two of us plus a small family of three. Helmets are recommended but not required- they are free to use. (If opt to not use a helmet, you must sign a section on the liability form) Around 10 minutes before 2pm, they explain and demonstrate how to ride and take care of our horses. We get on and begin the tour shortly after 2pm!
We got lucky with the weather! When we first arrived, it was grey, cloudy and started to drizzle. By the time we began our horse ride it turned sunny! Leanna was our guide and she is the sweetest person! We were all beginning horseback riders so we went at a good pace. She talked about the range, answered our questions, asked about ourselves, and made sure we were all comfortable and in control of our horses throughout the entire tour. The trail included uphill, downhill, and flat plains. The top view was absolutely stunning. We got to see the beautiful blue ocean in-front of us and the Ko'olau mountains behind us. Leanna even took our photos and they came out amazing. It was so serene, sunny and not too hot because there were cool breezes throughout that hour trail ride.
This is definitely an experience of a lifetime. I am so incredibly happy we got to do this! The views were breathtaking and I will be attaching photos even though the real thing is 1000 times better! We'll be doing it again the next time we get the chance. Thank you so much Leanna and Gunstock Range for a lovely time and thank you Veltra for the great offer!

My wife and I were in Hawaii for our honeymoon and wanted to venture out to the north shore of Oahu to get a taste of the landscape out there. I booked a horseback riding tour for our first full day in Oahu, and even though we had to get up early to make it out in time for our ride, it was SO worth it. Everything with the ride and staff at Gunstock ranch was perfect. Finding the ranch was easy and the signs leading to where we needed to go were so clear. We showed up a little early and our tour guide was still grooming and prepping the horses for the day, but she let us wander around and meet some of the horses. She was so kind and informative and did an amazing job leading our ride. She was patient and very clear in her instructions, and even though our ride was only 1 hour I feel like she went above and beyond to pack as much as she could into our hour ride! The service from Gunstock ranch was TOP NOTCH and I would HIGHLY recommend anybody to check it out. Even if the price seems a little high, it was so worth it and I can guarantee you will not regret making the trek out and taking a trail ride with Gunstock ranch. The location / area is so beautiful, we even saw a full and amazing rainbow the morning of our ride. If I could give this company / this ride 6 stars I would! I will definitely come back again next time we are on the island!

I wasn’t expecting much since it wasn’t a tour. The driver did drive by past places that have significance to President Obama. Beautiful waterfall! No need for a guide.

I participated in the trip with my sister!
We were the only Japanese participants among the attendees, and since the staff couldn't speak Japanese, I was a bit anxious at first. However, the staff explained things using gestures, simple English, and broken Japanese, so I didn't have any major issues.
They provided us with a guidebook that had the tour flow and precautions written in Japanese, so as long as you read that, there are no problems!

We went out to sea on a boat and once we arrived at the spot, we put on our snorkels and entered the cage.
Swimming with the sharks in the beautiful deep blue sea was more fun than I imagined!
You can bring an underwater camera or smartphone into the water, so you can take photos and videos with them in waterproof cases.

I usually don’t get seasick, but I took motion sickness medication just in case.
The boat rocked quite a bit, and some people looked a bit worn out...
I think the motion sickness medication is essential.

If you want to relax, that's great, but if you're looking for something a little different!
If just going to the beach or shopping isn't enough for you!
This tour is highly recommended! ( ´ ▽ ` )ﾉ

姉と二人旅で参加しました！
参加者の中で日本人は私たちのみ、さらにスタッフは日本語が話せないということで初めは少し不安もありましたが、スタッフの方はジェスチャーと簡単な英語、カタコトの日本語を交えながら説明や指示をしてくれるので特に困ることはありませんでした。
日本語でツアーの流れや注意が書かれている説明書をわたしてくれたので、それをちゃんと読めば何の問題もないです！

船で沖まで進み、スポットに到着するとシュノーケルをつけて檻の中へ。
悠々と泳ぐサメと、深いブルーのキレイな海！
想像以上に楽しかったです！
水中カメラやスマホも持って海に入れるので、防水ケースなどにいれて写真やムービーも撮れます。

普段乗り物酔いしない私も一応酔い止め薬を飲んで参加しました。
船は結構揺れたので、何人かぐったりしている方も…。
酔い止め薬は必須かと。

のんびり過ごすのもいいけど、ちょっと変わったことがしたい！
ビーチやショッピングだけでは物足りない！
という人にはオススメのツアーです( ´ ▽ ` )ﾉ

It was extremely crowded, but we were able to enjoy the slides to the fullest and had delicious food. After getting full, we experienced bodyboarding.

I'm satisfied!

I was thinking of using a shuttle service, but I wanted to save money, so I took theBUS for $2.50 (about 250 yen) per person! If you take bus number 55 from Ala Moana Center, you can get there in about an hour without any transfers! It's easy to get to, and since you can definitely get a seat from Ala Moana Center, I recommend taking theBUS for a budget-friendly option (^ ^).

My check-in time was at 10:15, but I actually got on the horse at 11:15 ^^; During the hour wait, I looked around the souvenir shop, and since there was free unlimited water, I enjoyed the nature while waiting ☆ There’s a restaurant next to the souvenir shop with drinks available, and the hamburgers are really, really delicious! They are quite filling, so for Japanese people, one might be enough for two ^^* I was worried about food and bought a sandwich at ABC Store, but since there’s unlimited drinks (water) and a nice restaurant, it wasn't necessary.

Near the horses, the smell of manure is quite strong (laughs). I experienced the two-hour course, and for two full hours, I rode while enjoying the magnificent scenery! The weather was nice, and it felt really good (^ ^).

As a note, video cameras and backpacks are not allowed. Waist pouches are okay. It seems that you can't film with one hand like you would with a video camera. I didn't see anyone with a selfie stick, but since both hands would be occupied, I think that's also not allowed. The best recommendation is to hang your smartphone around your neck! Be careful with pockets on your waist or butt, as things might fall out. Taking photos is totally fine, and I was able to film as well!

Aside from taking pictures, you need to hold the reins with both hands (it feels unstable if you don't), so please be cautious. Since it's in a rural area, the return theBUS runs every 40 to 50 minutes, so keep an eye on the time. Also, since it's a bus from the countryside to the city center, more people get on as you approach Ala Moana Center, and it took about an hour and a half. If you have any plans, please be careful.

簡単に行けるしアラモアナセンターからなら確実に座れるのでtheBUSで安く行くのオススメです(^ ^)

1時間の間はお土産売り場を見たり、無料でお水も飲み放題なので自然を感じながら待ちました☆
お土産売り場の隣にレストランがあって飲み物もありますし、とにかくハンバーガーがとっっっても美味しいです！ボリューミーなので日本人なら2人で1つでいいかも^^*ご飯を心配してABCストアでサンドイッチ買って行きましたが、飲み物(水)も飲み放題だし美味しいレストランもあるので必要ありませんでした。
馬の近くは糞の臭いがすごいです（笑）
2時間コースを体験しましたが、2時間たっぷり壮大な景色を眺めながら馬に乗りました！
天気も良く本当に気持ちいいです(^ ^)
注意事項としてビデオカメラ、リュックはNGです。ウェストポーチはOKでした。多分ビデオカメラみたいに片手を離してムービー撮影はダメみたいです。自撮り棒を持ってた人はいないので分かりませんが片手がずっとふさがるのでNGだと思います。
スマホを首から下げるのが1番オススメです！腰やお尻のポケットは落ちる可能性があるので気をつけて下さい。写メ撮るのは全然いいですし、ムービーも撮れました！
写真撮る以外は両手で紐を持ってないといけないので(持ってないと不安定)注意してください。
田舎の方だからか、帰りのtheBUSは40~50分に1本ペースなので時間に注意です。あと田舎→中心街へのバスなのでアラモアナセンターに近づくにつれてたくさん人が乗ってくるし1時間半くらいかかりました、何か予定を入れてる方は気をつけて下さい。

It was cold and there were a lot of downpours during this season. Despite not being able to bring in food and drinks, the meals were terrible. Just like in America.

時期的にスコールが多く、寒かったです。
飲食持ち込み出来ないわりには食事が最悪。さすがアメリカです。
