It wasn't too intense; we gradually ascended into the sky and enjoyed a leisurely activity. The boat swayed quite a bit, so I think it's a good idea for those who are worried to take motion sickness medication. They took photos for us, which were available for purchase. There wasn't any strong pressure to buy. I was relieved that our belongings were kept in a dry area on the boat. Overall, it was a fun activity!!

あまりハードな感じてはなく、緩やかに上空に上がっていき、のんびりと楽しむアクティビティでした。船は割りと揺れるので、心配な方は酔い止めを飲んでくると良いかと思います。写真を撮っていただき、有料の販売でした。特に強く売り込まれることもありませんでした。心配していた荷物も船の濡れないところに置かせていただいて、安心でした。総じて楽しいアクティビやティでした！！

First, take the escalator to the 4th floor of the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center B building, where you can receive a sticker as your participation badge at the reception, and then head to the buffet venue.

When we participated, the seating style had Japanese guests at the same table. It provided a natural opportunity to chat with those seated with us, which may have been a consideration to help everyone relax and enjoy their meal. While enjoying a menu that reflects Hawaii (personally, I found the desserts especially delicious!), there were also hula dance performances and songs presented up close, and those interested could take hula dance lessons.

The main "Rock-a-Hula" show was incredibly powerful, featuring impressive performances by "Elvis" and "Michael," along with thrilling fire dances. The dancers' movements were sharp, and I had a great time.

I initially thought about skipping the final photo session, but in the end, I ended up taking pictures with my favorite "Michael" and the dancers.

まずはロイヤル・ハワイアン・ショッピングセンターB館のエスカレーターで4Fへ行き、受付で参加証代わりのシールを受け取り、ビュッフェ会場へ。

私たちが参加した時は、日本人同士が同じテーブルにつくスタイルでした。
同席した方たちと自然とお話しする機会もあり、なるべくリラックスして食事を楽しめるようにとの配慮だったのかもしれません。間近でフラダンスや歌が披露される中、ハワイらしいメニュー（個人的には特にデザートがおいしかった！）も楽しめ、希望者はフラダンス・レッスンも受けられます。

そしてメインの「ロック・ア・フラ」ショーは迫力満点で、「エルビス」さんや「マイケル」さんの渾身のパフォーマンスや、ドキドキのファイアーダンスもお薦めですが、ダンサーたちの踊りもキレキレで、とても楽しみました。

最後の写真撮影はパスしようと思っていたのですが、結局、お気に入りの「マイケル」さんやダンサーさんと一緒に撮ってもらっちゃいました。

The buffet, especially the roast beef, was incredibly delicious! You can enjoy your meal while drinking a Mai Tai and watching hula dancing and ukulele performances up close. (For those who don't drink alcohol, non-alcoholic options are available.)

After that, we moved to the concert hall to watch the show. It was packed with content, and I was able to fully experience the Hawaiian vibe. The fire dance at the end was truly impressive. I was very satisfied that we could take photos together at the end. This event is full of activities, and I think especially those visiting Hawaii for the first time will enjoy it even more.

その後はコンサートホールへ移動し、ショーを見ます。盛り沢山の内容でハワイ感を存分に味わえました。終盤のファイヤーダンスは迫力満点。最後に写真も一緒に撮ることができ大満足でした。このイベントは盛り沢山で特にハワイに初めていらっしゃった方はより楽しめると思います。

The highlights were the roast beef, fish fry with white sauce, and Hawaiian-style tofu dishes, all of which were very well seasoned. I got a bit carried away and ended up taking too much food, so I should have reduced the carbs like yakisoba and macaroni, which were just average in taste, and been a bit more composed. Haha! The Rock-a-Hula show was impressive! The dancers were not only great at hula but also had sharp rock dance moves, which was fun. I was tired from the flight, but I was very satisfied to have an American and Hawaiian experience right from the first night. I'm glad I went!

特に美味しかったのは、ローストビーフ、フィッシュフライのホワイトソースがけ、ハワイ風豆腐の料理など味付けがとてもよかった。ついつい浮かれて取り過ぎて食べきれなかったので、焼きそばとかマカロニとか炭水化物系は普通の味なのでそれを減らしたり、もうちょっと冷静に過ごせばよかった。笑　ロックアフラは見ごたえあり！ダンサーはフラだけじゃなくロックのダンスもキレキレで楽しかった。飛行機で疲れていたけど、初日の夜からアメリカ＆ハワイらしい体験ができて大満足。行ってよかった！

The tour was led by a bright and fun guide who was great at teaching! The course covered a lot, from paintings to the sea, and the explanations were easy to understand. It was really wonderful!

教え方も上手で、明るく楽しいガイドさんのツアーでした！まわるコースも絵画から海まで盛り沢山で解説もわかりやすく、とてもよかったです！

The staff were the best! They were professional & knowledgeable. All of my questions were answered thoroughly. It was a memorable experience just being in this scenic, beautiful area. Even the BBQ was excellent. When I come back, I will do it all over again. NOTE: the bus driver, Richard, who shuttled us, kept us entertained.

Riding through the wind felt absolutely amazing! Since it was equipped with electric assist, I was able to glide along effortlessly without any strain at all. It was great that we stopped at several scenic spots for photo opportunities and took our time. Although I couldn't communicate in Japanese, I appreciated the guide's thoughtfulness in using Google Translate to help us. I also felt reassured knowing that the helmets were disinfected after use.

The weather in the mountains can change quickly, so after it rained, the ground became slippery, and I saw a few people fall, but the others around and the guide were very kind and helped them. At the end, I even received a Band-Aid. The rear tire of the mountain bike splashes mud, so my back got dirty. I think it's best to wear clothes that can get dirty and have a bag that can also handle some mud. Next time, I want to try zip-lining!

風を切って走るのが最高に気持ちよかった！
電動アシスト付きなのでスイスイ進めて全く辛くなかったです。
眺めのいいところや何ヶ所かで撮影ポイントや時間を取ってくれて良かったですし、
日本語は通じないけど、Google翻訳を使って教えてくれたりとガイドさんの気遣いも嬉しかったです。
使い終わったヘルメットも消毒されてるのを見て確認したので安心でした。
山の天気は変わりやすいので、雨が降ったりした後は滑りやすいので転んでる方も何人か居ましたが、周りの方やガイドさんが助けてくれたりと優しかったです。
最後にバンドエイドも貰ってました。
マウンテンバイクの後ろのタイヤが泥を跳ねるので背中が汚れます。
汚れてもいい服装や背中に背負うバックは汚れてもいいものがいいと思います。
今度はジップラインをやりたいと思っています！

I was very moved during my last trip to Hawaii in 2019, so I made sure to include it again this time. The live band performance was powerful, and I enjoyed the songs of my favorite artists, Elvis and Michael, along with hula dancing and authentic entertainment. Considering COVID-19, it was nice to be able to watch from the first floor since there was no dining while viewing. It was a bit disappointing that the performer playing Michael had gained some weight after the pandemic. Still, I was very satisfied.

前回（2019）ハワイへ行った時にとても感動したので今回も必須で組込みました。
生バンドでのパフォーマンスは迫力があり大好きなエルビスやマイケルの歌やフラダンスと本場のエンターテイメントを楽しめました。
コロナを考慮して、食事をとりながらの観覧は無いため1階席で観れたのは良かったです。
コロナ後で演者さんが代わりマイケルがちょっと小太りになっていたのは残念。
それでも大満足でした。

The Kualoa Experience was amazing, The tours that we did on the day had exceptional knowledgeable guides.
We also had the lunch which was delicious. We had know idea that there was that many movies and series made at the ranch.

When you think of Hawaii, the strong impression is often of beaches, but I've always been interested in Kualoa Ranch, which is the opposite of ocean leisure activities.

At the meeting point, a large bus welcomed us. We headed to the ranch with quite a number of people on board.

Each tour (there are many activities besides horseback riding) has a separate check-in location, where the meeting place and time are announced. After arriving, we had a two-hour wait until our horseback riding time, and after riding, we had another three hours until the bus departure, making it quite challenging to pass the time.

However, being able to ride for a full two hours to and from the canyon, which was a filming location for Jurassic Park, was an unparalleled experience.

You can buy lunch at the café within the ranch, but I think it's better to bring your own since there aren't many options available.

ハワイと言えばビーチの印象が強いですが、海のレジャーとは対極のクアロア牧場はかねてより興味がありました。

集合場所には大型バスがお出迎え。かなりの人数を乗せて牧場まで向かいます。

ツアーごと（乗馬以外にもたくさんあります）に受付場所が分かれ、集合場所と集合時間が告げられます。到着して乗馬の時間まで2時間、乗馬終了後バスの出発までさらに3時間あり、時間を潰すのがけっこう大変でした。

しかし、ジュラシックパークのロケ地であったという峡谷まで馬上でたっぷり2時間かけて往復できるのは、他にない体験でした。

ランチは牧場内のカフェでも買えますが、あまり品数がないので持参した方が良いと思います。

When the buggies are assigned to the back of the line, the dust is overwhelming, and even with goggles on, dust gets in and it really hurts my eyes.

Afterward, my face and clothes were covered in mud and dirt, which was quite a mess! I recommend that those who participate wear clothes that they don't mind getting dirty!

If you're lucky enough to drive near the front of the line, it might not be a problem, but if you end up in the back with the buggies, it can be quite challenging, so please be careful.

後ろの方の車列にバギーがアサインされると砂埃が半端なく、ゴーグルをかけていても砂が入ってくるので目が痛くて大変でした。

終わった後も泥砂だらけで顔服がかなり汚れます笑
体験される方は汚れても良い服で参加されることをオススメします！

運良く車列の前のほうで運転できたら問題ないかもしれませんが、運悪く後ろのバギーになると大変なので気をつけてください。

The Moke islands were unfortunately closed without a tour guide due to the wind/currents but we were still able to kayak to the flat island. It was so much fun to walk around the island and check out the wildlife there. We then kayaked to Lanikai beach to hang out and snorkel there. Had an amazing bbq lunch plate next to the shop and then went for a bike ride around Lanikai. We were able to do everything at our own pace and all the crew were so friendly. Great way to spend the day.

We had a great time out on the ranch. The UTV tour was so much fun and the guides were passionate and very informative. It was a solid 2 hours of driving around the ranch and the views were amazing. This a must do!

The Rock-a-Hula show was a lot of fun.

I thought it would be just hula, but since the main part was a rock-themed show (impersonations), I had a great time. My plan was to sit in the second-floor seats, so I entered the theater without much expectation, but it turned out to be a large first-floor seat, positioned six seats from the front, which gave me a fantastic view of the show. Elvis was amazing, but I’m sorry to say that Michael was a bit on the heavier side and lacked sharpness, which made me laugh throughout the performance (he was really trying hard, so I feel bad).

As for the buffet in the first half, there was quite a wait as rumored, so it's best to go with that in mind. The sweet potatoes were delicious. However, I took too much—way too much, actually, and couldn't finish it. I really think it's better to take just a little bit at a time. During the meal, there was also a simple hula show and a mini hula experience, which was quite enjoyable.

ロック・ア・フラ、楽しかったです。

フラだけだと、少し、と思っていたのですが、ロックな感じのショー（モノマネ）がメインだったので、楽しい時間を過ごせました。
私のプランは、２階席と書いてあったので期待せずにシアターに入ったのですが、２階席ではなく、大きな１階席で、前から6席目という位置付けでしたので、すごくよくショーが見えました。
エルビスは最高だっただけに、マイケルは申し訳ないですが、ちょいとふくよかで、キレがあまりなく、終始笑わせてもらってました。（本人はすごく頑張っていたので、申し訳ないです）

前半のビュッフェは、噂通り待ち時間が結構ありましたので、そのつもりで行った方がいいですね。食事はお芋がおいしかったです。でも、２つは取りすぎました。すごくたくさん取ってしまうので、食べきれません。本当に少しづつ取った方がいいと思います。
食事の途中でフラの簡単なショーや、フラのプチ体験とかもあって、結構楽しかったです。

Since everything was explained in English, it might be difficult for those who don't understand English at all. (The video explaining how to use the buggy is in Japanese.)
However, the buggy was incredibly fun!
The guide was very kind and took a lot of photos for us!
After it was over, my face, clothes, and hair were really dirty.
I think you should put your bags in a locker before the reception!

全部英語での説明だったので、英語が全くわからない方は大変かもしれないです。（バギーの乗り方の説明動画は日本語）
ただ、バギーはものすごく楽しかったです！
案内してくれるガイドさんもとても優しく、写真もたくさん撮ってくれました！
終わった後、顔と洋服と髪の毛はめちゃくちゃ汚れてました
カバンなどは受付前にロッカーに入れておくべきだと思います！

It was a long-awaited family trip to Hawaii.
We had a great time enjoying the magnificent nature.
It was fulfilling, the scenery was beautiful, and I would recommend it to my friends!

Not enough time for the Bowfin and Missouri! Especially the Missouri is so valuable and amazing!
Introduction saying drop off 16:15-17:00, but our tour actually ended by 14:30 (return from Missouri), I have no idea why but it happened like this. If we have more time, could be definitely better, a bit disappointed.

The show structure was wonderful! I enjoyed the interaction with the dancers before the meal. The staff's service was also very pleasant.

This was my second time participating alone! I'm a beginner at surfing. I had a private lesson at a different surf school once before, but the group lessons here are much more relaxed in terms of atmosphere and price, and I really like it! All the instructors are friendly, and we can enjoy chatting about surfing as well as various things about Hawaii! Depending on the day, there are instructors who can speak Japanese, and the flow of the lesson and important notes are explained in Japanese, which is reassuring. This seems like it will become my go-to in Honolulu!

1人で2回目の参加でした！サーフィン初心者です。以前1度別のサーフスクールでプライベートレッスンを受けたことがありますが、こちらのグループレッスンは雰囲気的にも価格的にもよりリラックスして参加でき、気にいっています！インストラクターの方もみなさんフレンドリーで、サーフィンのことはもちろん、ハワイのことなど色々お話ししながら楽しめます！日によりますが日本語が話せるインストラクターもいらっしゃり、レッスンの流れや注意事項の説明は日本語表記があるため安心です。私のホノルルでの定番になりそうです！

On October 29th, I participated in a show that I had been interested in for a while as a memory of my trip to Hawaii.

First, we enjoyed a meal while watching hula dancing, sipping on alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks made with orange and fresh pineapple. The luxurious buffet-style dinner created a wonderful atmosphere where everyone was cheerful and friendly. The desserts, including coffee, fruits, and ice cream, were also very delicious.

During the showtime, we were treated to beautiful singing and authentic hula. I was captivated by the spectacular performances of Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson, making for an unforgettable night and a lovely memory.

10/29にハワイ旅行の記念に以前から気になっていたショーの参加をしました。
まずは、食事ですがオレンジに生パインのアルコールやノンアルをいただきながら、フラの踊りを観賞。そして豪華なビュッフェスタイルの夕食は、みんな和気あいあいでとても素敵な雰囲気でした。デザートもコーヒーや果物、アイスクリームもあって、とても美味しかった。
ショータイムは歌手の素敵な歌と本場フラ。
また、エルビスプレスリーとマイケルジャクソンのショーアップされた演出に心を奪われ感激の夜を過ごし、素敵な記念になりました。

It was really interesting and a great experience, but I was a bit scared and felt like I might fall, so I couldn't relax. My daughter was happily taking pictures with one hand, but I couldn't do it. When we arrived, my legs and back were shaking. I felt unsteady. However, it's definitely worth experiencing at least once.

とっても面白かったし、よい体験になりましたが、少し落ちそうで怖くて、余裕がありません。娘は、るんるんで片手で写真をとってるけど、私はだめ。着いたら足も腰もガタガタ。フラフラでした。でも、一度は体験する価値あり

It was disappointing that some attractions were under maintenance and we couldn't experience them, but we had a really fun time. My grandchildren were also very happy. Some people might wonder why you would go to Hawaii just for a pool, but there aren't many pools like this in Japan, so I was very satisfied.

Also, since it was a plan with transportation included, I wasn't sure when to give the tip. I was hoping to meet the guide on the way back, but unfortunately, I didn't get to see her. I ended up giving the tip to the taxi driver, but I'm not sure what happens to that tip. We also went to the Heaven's Beach Sandbar this time, and since we received guidance on tipping there, I thought it would be the same this time, so it felt a bit off.

メンテナンス中のものがあり出来なかったのは残念でしたが、とっても楽しい時間を過ごすしました。孫達も大喜びでした。ハワイに来てプール？という人もいるかもしれないですが、日本にはなかなかこんなプールないので大変満足しました。
それから、送迎付きでのプランだったのですが、チップを渡すタイミングが分からなくて帰りガイドのお姉さんに会えると思って待っていましたが会えなくて残念でした。タクシーの方に渡しましたが、このチップはどうなるのか分からない部分です。今回も天国の海サンドバーにも行きましたがチップの案内をして貰えたので、また言って貰えるものだと思っていましたのでしっくりいかなかったです。

Overall an enjoyable sunset cruise but a bit rushed boarding the boat. We were served and eating our meal while the boat was still in dock. Our meal was the first out and surrounding tables took a while before theirs came out. Our crab leg shells were soft and impossible to crack open. Otherwise the food was enjoyable. Entertainment was fun and lively. I would recommend this experience.

I tried three activities: jet skiing, bumper tubing, and parasailing. It was all my first time, but there were staff members who spoke Japanese, so I felt安心して楽しめました. The bumper tubing was especially intense with the centrifugal force, and I was desperately hanging on. However, one disappointing thing was that there was no changing room after the activities, so I had to change in the restroom. If there had been a changing room, it would have been perfect.

The snorkeling lasted just under an hour, but it was quite exhausting. For me, it was the right amount of time. I was also able to enjoy seeing the sea turtles. The hamburger for lunch was delicious. With unlimited soft drinks, I didn't have to worry about hydration. A larger towel is definitely a must.

It was a good tour and great driver. I wish we would have stopped at more of the scenic spots and skipped some of the roadside gift shops. One was enough. I would skip the Dole Plantation altogether.

Very well organized tour with beautiful scenery throughout. There is so much opportunity to take lots of pictures and interact with movie props, etc. There is also a variety of activities to do. However, this review is only for the Movie sites and ranch tour. The tour was perfect for those who cannot endure bumpy ride such as the elderly and pregnant. My mother was comfortable and did not complain about it being too rough. Our tour guide made it really special. He was very informative and engaging. Also, you can tell that he really enjoys what he is doing and really has a passion for movies and discussing them. I also love the fact that he was willing to take pictures Group/families. Overall, I would recommend this to anyone who loves nature and movies, or would just like to spend a 1/2 day at Kuaola ranch.

Firstly, my stepmother, my sister, and I had SO MUCH FUN! We knew going into this that based on the price and other photos we saw of the tails that these would not come out looking like "realistic" mermaids.

They had a variety of stretchy fabric tails to choose from in various sizes and some to fit larger body types. You can tell the tails have been through the ringer a bit with stains and small tears but none of that showed in the pics.

Mickey was amazing! He was patient, funny, kind, and had many poses in mind. He used a gopro for all of the shots, taking mini videos for you to pull pictures from). The lagoon we shot at was a bit murky so couldn't really get that many underwater pictures.

We definitely got some good shots but I (a professional photographer including boudoir) had to give a lot of direction to him and to my family. I was also able to save/make a lot of the shots pretty due to photoshop. Otherwise there would have been lots of pics of us from overhead like my hair flip photos which should have been taken from much lower/straight on to get the full effect of the hair flip.

In no way was that Mickey's fault, though. I think the company mainly has men under their employment and mostly focuses on scuba diving so I can imagine none of the guys are vying to do the mermaid session and therefore make the youngest, newest employee do it. It's management/the owners that should consider having whoever does the mermaid experience have some photography training even if a cheap, online one. Mickey did AMAZING with the skillet he had and was an absolute pleasure to work with and be around.

At the end of the day, for the price, and the experience we'd definitely would recommend. Just know you're not walking away looking like a real mermaid with breathtaking photos. Lol.

Great cruise, all staff, especially our service assistant, were extremely pleasant, professional, and efficient. A very good buffet with carved roast beef, delicious chicken and fish, everything. Fireworks show a bit difficult. In order to see it well people had to run to one side of the ship, not only tilting the ship a bit but making it even more difficult for people who didn't want to dash to the side to see. This was only a minor observation.
