鯨は完全に運だとは思いましたが、流石に2月！しっかり会えました。たまたま2頭が結構近くの海面を何度も行ったり来たりしてくれたお陰で、ビデオや写真だけに追われず肉眼でも捉える事ができて、ラッキーでした！船長さんが、10時にいるよ！とか9時方向だ！とか英語でアナウンスしてくれるのと、周りの人をヒントに移動しました。お一人、日本語が少し話せる方もいたので、英語苦手な方はその方にくっついていくのもありかもです。

行き帰りは英語のガイドさん。行きも帰りも、陽気な方達でした。特に帰りは、降りる場所を変更してくれたり、予定外の停車場所もリクエスト受け付けてくれたりと、臨機応変に対応していました。ツアーが昼前に終わるので、その後はアラモアナショッピングセンターでと考えていましたが、どうやって行くか悩んでいました。でも、バスの途中下車が可能との事でこちらを上手く活用…したかったのですが、色々あって結局自分達のホテルで降りました。

Guides were great. Reese & ?? brought vast knowledge of the geography and culture not to mention the history of Oahu. Lot of fun, ATV ran great. No surprises at all. The only thing that they might improve on is the check in process. I realize that being a Saturday, it would be busy, but there was confusion as to where and which line you need to be in for the check-in process. We were pre-paid so why did we have to wait for all those in front of us who did not pre-pay for their event? Wasted 20-30 minutes in line.

A bit disappointing was that we only saw whales three times in the first 30 minutes of the two-hour cruise, and the rest of the time was spent staring at the ocean surface. Considering that there are times when you might not see any whales, I might be being a bit greedy.
With the mindset that seeing whales is just a bonus, I think it would be perfect to enjoy a leisurely cruise off the coast of West Oahu as long as the weather is good.

2. There are many other tours at the snorkeling spots, so there is a risk of getting separated if you get too absorbed in snorkeling. I made sure to stay close to our boat's staff.

最後シュノーケリングが終わった後はすぐに戻らず、さらに沖の方はセイリング。
ダイヤモンドヘッドの裏側の方までいきたくさんの景色を楽しめました。やっとの網の部分に座ってのセーリングも最高でした。
最後に少しでしたがクジラも見えました！
シュノーケリングの、後のセーリングでとても充実した時間が過ごせました。
以下体験する方へのアドバイス
1、乗り物酔いする方は中々船の揺れや、シュノーケリングの、波も激しいので気おつけてください。（実際私は酔い止め飲みましたが途中で酔いがひどくなり先に船に戻りました。※息子や夫は酔わないので終始楽しんでいました。）
2、他のツアーがスポットにたくさんいるのでシュノーケリングに、没頭するとはぐれる危険性があります。こまめに自分の船のスタッフさんを連れての近くにいるようにしました。
3、シュノーケリング初心者は体力が必要かも。幸い私たちはシュノーケリングをしていたので大丈夫でしたが、初めての方だと波の高さや、スポットに毎回移動するのが困難かも
でも、船に戻りたくなったら先に戻っていいのでそこは自由で自身の判断でよかったです
3点書きましたが総合的には大満足です！

We had a large group, and this was easiest way for us to not have to figure out reservation. Just perfect time for hiking as well!
Great way to start the year, we wish we were back in Hawaii listening to the wonderful local music!
