The sea was beautiful, the food was delicious, and the staff were fun, which was great. I thought it would be convenient to prepare a waterproof camera in advance (you can buy one there). After getting off the boat, we had a hula dance lesson at a park near the port. While staff member Yuka asked on the bus, "Shall we cancel because of the rain?" miraculously, the sky suddenly cleared. We wrapped pareos around our waists, adorned our heads and wrists with leis, and had a fun lesson under the guidance of the hula teacher. The music was played by a ukulele player who resembled Hiro from Yasuda Circus. There was also an explanation of hula tools, allowing us to experience Hawaiian culture.

演奏は安田サーカスのヒロ君似のウクレレ。
フラの道具の説明もあり、ハワイアン・カルチャーにふれることができました。
今日のツアー、スタッフがとってもよかったです。
お世話係のゆかさんはとってもチャーミングでやさしく、気配り十分。
船長ジョンさんはチーズバーガーに当たりを3つ入れてくれるなどサービス精神たっぷり。
二人のロコボーイも楽しいです。

クジラはクルーズスタートから間もなくちらっと見えてあとはなかなか。でもクジラが見えなくてもノリノリのスタッフでとても楽しんでいました。復路でもう一度クジラが見えました。
ものすごく近い距離ではなかったのですが、潮を吹くところも見ることが出来ました。
海から見えるワイキキのホテル群の景色も楽しめました。
2杯までアルコールはチケット代に入っているということでしたが、1時間のクルーズなのでほとんどの人は1杯かな！？シャンパンを美味しく頂きました。
もう少し長くてもいいかなと思うくらいのクルーズ時間でした。
88歳の母もとても楽しかったと全員大満足です。

My husband and I recently went on the Starf Honolulu on a whale watching Cruise. We were picked up at our hotel and taken to the boat, we boarded the boat and it was all fun from there. I highly recommend this cruise for anyone. We actually got to see a couple of whales so that made the day even more memorable.
For the first snorkel outting of our trip, this was a great way to get the ball rolling. Other than the long drive to get to the boat launch everything was smooth sailing. The crew was great and fun to travel with and were very knowledgable on the sites we visited. The trip to the sand bar was a treat. Only regret is we would love to have stayed at the reef longer.
I couldn't see it, but it was a good boat trip in a short amount of time, I suppose? Unfortunately, I couldn't see it, but it was nice to relax on the boat while feeling the wind and enjoy the view from offshore rather than from the beach. ALOHA TOWERまで行き、８時集合で10分前位には来るようにとあったので、30分ほど早めに到着しましたが、OFFICEは８時OPENとなっていてSTAFFが来たのも８時過ぎで、もう少し遅めでもよかったと思います。
ホエールウォッチングは鯨の生態など出航前後にSTAFFや船長が詳しく説明をされ、実際何度も潮を吹いている姿や尾ひれを上げたところなど見ることができて感動でした。

There is a lot of traveling back and forth then actual viewing spots, and because of that there was not enough time at Waimea Canyon which is the main spot of the trip. People taking half day tour should not be mixed with fullday tour, there was a lot of time lost in going back and forth droping those people, and the return flight to oahu should be planned accordingly we had to wait 2 hrs at the airport.
Premium Submarine Tour was very cool, well worth the extra money. Seating was comfortable. Tour guide very informative, easy to understand. My only complaint is we had a couple of smaller kids on the sub, they put on the headphones and sang most of the tour. We were able to see some pretty amazing ocean life, including a very large sea turtle, and a sting ray!
Would recommend for early in your vacation! We did this tour in the afternoon after the Whale watching breakfast cruise. We were also able to move up our reservation 2 hours just by stopping at the tent at the Hawaiiam Hilton, no extra charge!
