The pickup bus was significantly delayed from the scheduled time, which made us very anxious at first. There was a contact phone number on the voucher for inquiries like "If the bus is more than 10 minutes late and hasn't arrived," but it was only available in English, so my husband and I, who don't speak English, were at a loss. Additionally, it mentioned that "the staff would be wearing blue T-shirts or holding a sign," but the staff did not fit either description and were just standing there without calling out participants' names, making it very difficult to identify them.

However, the pool itself was well-equipped with slides, and there were few people, so we were able to enjoy it without any wait times. Even adults can have a great time. Unfortunately, the weather was not favorable; the wind was very cold, and the lazy river was under maintenance and unavailable, which was disappointing.

迎えのバスが予定の時間よりだいぶ遅れてきたため、最初とても不安でした。「10分遅れても来なかった場合は電話を…」というような問い合わせの電話番号はバウチャーに記載がありましたが、英語のみ対応とあったため、英語が出来ない私達夫婦はどうすることもできず。また「迎えは青いＴシャツを着たスタッフまたはプラカードを持ったスタッフ」とありましたが、スタッフはどちらにも該当しておらず、参加者の名前を呼ぶでもなく立っているだけであったため非常に分かりづらかったです。プール自体はスライダーが充実しており、人も少なく待ち時間がなかったため満喫できました。大人でも充分楽しめます。ただ天候に恵まれず風がとても冷たく寒かったことと、流れるプールが整備中で使用できなかったことが残念でした。

My husband and I took the Star of Honolulu Dinner Jazz Cruise on 10/22/2017. This was one of the best meals I have ever had. You are treated as royalty as soon as you check in. On check in, we found out that this level of dinning (there are 3 levels) requires men to wear long pants. This was booked as a surprise gift for my husband and I totally forgot to have him pack pants. The staff was great and got my husband a pair of slacks that they keep on hand. We were escorted from the check in to the boat and then by another attendant to the ship were we took photos with the Captain. Then the luxury begins. We have complementary welcome about cocktails and 3 amazing appetizers. Our waiter Forrest escorted us to our table. The meal is 7 courses, but each is small so you are able to finish. Each dish was amazing. At desert you are offered a coffee and can include an addition of coffee liquor. They have premium spirits aboard and you get two free drink tickets in your package. There a constant flux in hula shows and then a jazz show. They were very good. I highly recommend the rainbow colored martini, yummy. The staff all went an extra mile to make this the best experience ever.

The large windows made it very easy to see, which was great. Those who participated in the normal submarine mentioned that the windows were small, and they had to lean in to look out. However, I think it was just luck, as I didn't encounter any dolphins or turtles. Inside the submarine, it was very cold, so I used a hoodie and a shawl. The monotony and the cold made me feel sleepy in the second half. Since I rarely get to go diving, I think it was a unique experience.

大きな窓だったので、とても見やすくて良かったです。ノーマルサブマアリンに参加した方は、窓が小さくてかがみこむようにして眺めてたと話していました。ただ、やっぱり運だと思いましたが、イルカやカメには出会えませんでした。潜水艦の中はとても寒くてパーカーとストールを使いました。淡々としているのと寒さで後半は眠くなってしまいました。めったに潜水なんてできないので、珍しい体験にはなったと思います。

I wasn't able to see any dolphins. I did see two sea turtles, but it was just a quick glimpse from inside the boat.

I forgot to bring motion sickness medication, but I happened to meet someone the day before who occasionally works at Dolphin University. When I mentioned this, they told me that some guides have it available, so I asked on the bus, but they said, "We don't provide it due to allergies and such." However, the person sitting behind us heard this and kindly shared their motion sickness medication with us, which was a lifesaver!!!

The boat really sways a lot, so it might be better to take motion sickness medication even just for peace of mind. I couldn't see any dolphins, the boat was rocking, and saltwater got in my eyes, which hurt for the rest of the first day.

The captain and the staff were doing their best to keep the mood up, and I was able to enjoy activities like snorkeling and kayaking. I want to participate again someday for a chance to see dolphins.

ウミガメは2頭見ることができましたが、船内からちらっと見た感じでした。

酔い止めを忘れてしまったのですが、前日にイルカ大学でたまに働いているという方と偶然お会いして、そのことを伝えるとガイドによっては用意しているから聞いてみたらいいよ、と言われたので車内で聞いてみたところ「アレルギーなどあるので、提供していない」とのことでした。
しかし、それを聞いていた後ろの席の方が、私たちに酔い止めを分けてくださったので、助かりました！！！

船はすごく揺れますので、酔い止めは気持ち的なものでも飲んだ方が楽かもしれません。
イルカを見れず、船は揺れて、塩水が目に入ってその後1日目が痛かったです。

船長さん始めスタッフの方々はどうにか盛り上げようとしてくれていて、シュノーケリング、カヤックなどのアクティビティは楽しむことができました。
イルカを見るためにまたリベンジでいつか参加したいです。

This cruise was a fantastic way to end our holiday! The Staff were lovely and the boat was clean & comfortable. We had a great time :)

It was fun to go around the filming locations and the exploration tour was convenient as they drove us around and took photos. However, I recommend that those who are prone to motion sickness take medication beforehand! It’s enjoyable, but it shakes a lot! I think watching the movie beforehand doubles the fun.

ロケ地めぐりや、探検ツアー車で回ってくれるので楽だし写真もとってくれてよかったが、探検ツアーは乗り物酔いする人は事前に薬を飲むのをオススメ！楽しいがかなり揺れます！映画見て予習してると楽しさ倍増だとおもう。

I referred to a site that tracks the tides in Kaneohe Bay with a sandbar and made a reservation for the tour. During my stay in Hawaii, there were no days when the water level would be negative, so I chose the date when the water level would be at its lowest. On the day of the tour, the water level was about 30 centimeters, as predicted by the site, and unfortunately, the sandbar did not appear. However, the experience of taking a boat out and walking in the low water was quite unique, and I really enjoyed it. There was also time for snorkeling to see corals and fish. I was able to see four sea turtles as well! The snacks provided on the boat were also very delicious. Since the sandbar is a natural phenomenon, it is affected by the schedule and weather, but I thought it was a tour that could still be enjoyed even if the sandbar did not appear.

サンドバーのあるカネオヘ湾の潮の満ち引きを調べるサイトを参考にして、ツアーを予約しました。ハワイ滞在期間中に水位がマイナスになる日程はなく、一番低くなる日にちの日程を選びました。当日の水位はサイトの予想通り30センチほどあり、残念ながら砂洲が現れることありませんでした。しかし、船に乗って沖まで行き、水位の低い海を歩く経験はなかなかできないので、非常に楽しめました。また、シュノーケリングでサンゴと魚を見る時間もあります。ウミガメも４匹見ることができました！船上で用意してくれる軽食もとても美味しいです。
サンドバーは自然現象なので、日程および天候に左右されてしまいますが、サンドバーが現れなくても楽しめるツアーになっていると思いました。

A month and a half before this trip to Hawaii, I fractured my ankle... had surgery... and was hospitalized. Would I be able to go? But with a strong desire to meet the dolphins, I started rehabilitation after receiving permission to walk just nine days before departure. I managed to walk, but could I really swim with wild dolphins??? I had those worries, so I immediately consulted with the staff who came to pick me up before 6 AM. They kindly said, "Let's go together."

Actually, this is my third time participating in this tour, and I've become quite hooked, so I really didn't want to give up and worked hard on my rehabilitation. That one sentence in the morning made all my anxieties disappear. I would get to meet the dolphin teacher... so exciting!

By the time we arrived at the port after an hour on the bus, dawn was beginning to break. This is where the real adventure begins. The captain steered the boat south... Amazing!! A whale at this time of year! The size and power were breathtaking. I think you can’t truly understand it unless you see it in person.

Next up were the dolphins. I had seen them in the past three trips, but this time, the dolphin teacher swam towards us. It felt like they were trying to heal my injured foot. I couldn’t help but think that way. My foot was in bad shape, but this encounter with the dolphin was the best.

This is a feeling you can only understand by experiencing it. Wild dolphins, not in an aquarium! Incredible. After that, we enjoyed snorkeling, canoeing, and a full menu of activities. I am truly grateful for the kindness and support of the staff. Thank you very much. This became my most memorable moment of this trip to Hawaii.

今回のハワイ旅行の１か月半前に足首骨折…手術…入院行けるの？
から始まって、でもこのイルカに会いたい一心で、出発の９日前に歩く許可が出てからのリハビリ、頑張ってなんとか歩けるようになったものの、野生のイルカと泳ぐ？？？できるのかな？
そんな不安もありーので、早朝６時前のお迎えに来てくれたスタッフに、即相談しました。
快く「私と一緒に行きましょう」と言ってくださいました。
実は私、このツアー３回目の参加ですでにハマってるんですが、だから尚更諦めたくなくて、頑張ってリハビリやってきたんです。この朝の一言で、本当に不安がどっか行ってしまいました。
イルカ先生に会えるよ…wakuwaku
バスで１時間港に到着した頃、夜が明け始めてきました。
ここからが本番です。
船長の勘で船は南へ…
すごいです!!この時期に？くじらです!
大きさ迫力…感激です。これ実際に見ないとわからないと思います。
次はイルカの出番です。過去３回とも会えたんですが、今回のイルカ先生、私たちに向かって泳いで来てくれるのです。私の足悪いの癒してくれようとしてくれているようです。って勝手に思ってしまいました。
私の足は大変でしたが、今回のイルカとの出会いは、最高でした。
これも、実際体験しないとわからない感動です。
水族館ではない野生のイルカ！すごいです。
そのあと、シュノーケル、カヌーなど、メニューめいっぱい遊びました。
スタッフの優しさ、対応、本当に感謝です。ありがとうございました。
今回のハワイ旅行の１番の思い出になりました。

Great dinner nice show and fireworks. Worth it. And they held the ship because so many delayed because of trumps visit and traffic jam

The weather was not favorable, the sea was cold, and the wind was blowing, so it was really cold.
Perhaps it was the wrong time of year, but I couldn't even see the sandy beach.
It felt far from the image in the photos.

天候に恵まれず、海は冷たく風も吹いて、とにかく寒かったです。
時期が悪かったのか砂浜も見れなかったです。
写真のイメージとは程遠いかんじでした。

The weather was nice, the ocean was beautiful, and the guide was very kind. The lunch was delicious, and it was convenient to have transportation to the hotel. The water level was about knee to thigh height for everyone. It was my first time participating, but I would like to join again when I go to Hawaii.

お天気もよく、海もきれいで、ガイドも方もとても親切でした。
ランチも美味しく、ホテルまで送迎があったので便利です。
水位は、みなさん膝上～太ももくらいだったと思います。
初めての参加でしたが、またハワイへ行く際は、参加したいと思います。

Thanks to the cheerful guide with a Kansai dialect, it was a fun tour with a lively atmosphere. The sea was perfectly beautiful! We were able to watch a lot of sea turtles in real life! It was enjoyable. I think everyone should participate at least once. However, my honest impression is that the main point of this tour is the tide level at the sandbar. I decided to join because the online forecast predicted a tide level of about 50 cm when I made the reservation, but the actual water level on the day was like a "deep pool." It seems that encountering a scene like the one on the poster would require quite a bit of luck.

As a bonus: I was very excited when a sea turtle, which rarely approaches people, touched my feet while I was floating in the water towards the end of the tour.

関西弁の女性の明るいガイドさんのおかげで、陽気な雰囲気で楽しいツアーでした。
海は完璧にキレイ！
ウミガメも実際たくさんウォッチできました！
楽しかったです。
一度は参加されるといいと思います。
ただこのツアーのポイントはサンドバーにおける潮位のみかなというのが率直な感想です。
予約時ネットで50cm程度の潮位予想だったので参加を決めましたが
当日の現地での実際の水かさは「深いプール」状態でした。
実際ポスターのような光景はよほど運がよくなければ遭遇できないのでしょう。

おまけ：ツアー終盤水中に浮かんでいた私の足に
めったにヒトに寄り付かないというウミガメ君がタッチしていってくれたのには大感激でした。

The best and funny emotional altogether...loved the show all of us did. Food was great missed this type since we came here...couldn't get enough would have exploded....lol....will come back again....first time here and looking forward to our next return.

Friendly Staff but not so much Animals to see :( I think on other Days it is better.

We went to Hawaii for our honeymoon and entered the prestigious Dolphin University!!
The atmosphere in the car was so fun, and we arrived in no time!

On the way to the dolphin point by boat, I was nervous about whether we would see them, but that day we were able to see dozens of dolphins, which was truly moving!!
The dolphins really came close to us!

Snorkeling was also great; we got to see beautiful fish and even sea turtles up close, which made us very satisfied (^ - ^)/

Having fun on the boat was also enjoyable!
I want to participate again!!

車内から、とても楽しい雰囲気で、あっという間に到着しました！

船でイルカのポイントまで行く途中、会えるかドキドキでしたが、この日は何十匹もイルカを見ることができ感動しました！！
ホントにイルカが寄ってきてくれました！

シューノーケルも綺麗な魚達や、ウミガメも間近でみる事ができ、大満足でした(^-^)/

船の上でタンズも楽しかったです！

During the journey to the spot where you can see dolphins, we danced on the boat, and the time flew by. The guides were all cheerful and friendly, and their Japanese was excellent. You can purchase the photos and videos taken by the guides as an option, and they will put the data on a cute USB. We saw plenty of dolphins, as well as sea turtles and fish, and there were activities like kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding, so I think it's a great deal with so much to enjoy beyond just snorkeling!

イルカが観れるスポットまでの移動中は船の上でダンスしたり、移動中もあっとゆうまです。
ガイドさんはみなさん陽気でいい人ばかりで、日本語もお上手です。
ガイドさんが撮ってくれる写真や動画をオプションで買え、かわいいUSBにデータを入れてくれます。
イルカもたくさん見れて、ホヌや、魚も見れ、カヤックやSUP滑り台など、シュノーケリング以外にも楽しめるので、かなりお得だと思います！

Due to the typhoon, I was worried about the high waves and whether we could go into the sea, but it was a good decision to enter the water and see the dolphins. We also got to see the honu, and it was the best tour ever.

台風の影響で波が高く、海に入れるか心配しましたが、好判断で海に入りイルカを見ることが出来ました。ホヌも観れたし、最高のツアーでした。

I had a great time. There were few people, so I could ride without waiting in line. However, since it was November and there was some wind, I think it would be better to wear a rash guard or something instead of just a swimsuit to avoid feeling cold and to enjoy playing more. Even when the weather is nice, it can feel a bit chilly due to the wind.

凄く楽しかったです。人も少なく並ばずに乗れました。ただ11月で風があったので、水着だけよりもラッシュガードとか着た方が寒さを感じず楽しく遊べると思います。天気が良くても風で少し寒く感じる時もあります。

I visited on a weekday in November. It takes just over 30 minutes by bus from the hotel. Since I arrived before opening time, I was able to enjoy being the first one in. There were Japanese staff at the park who provided a brief explanation before entry. On this day, the lazy river was under maintenance, so normally paid attractions were free.

There are large and small paid lockers available. You pay at the machine in front and use the locker corresponding to the displayed number. There are no keys; you unlock it with a four-digit PIN. I think the small one was $13 and the large one was $18. The small locker is extremely small, but if you squeeze, you can fit the luggage of two adults. Once you pay, you can open and close it as many times as you want.

It was a bit chilly due to the wind, but the sun was strong, so I played in my swimsuit and a cover-up. There were no crowds at all, and I was able to enjoy all the attractions without waiting in line. Since there were no lines, I conquered almost all the attractions in about an hour, leaving me with extra time.

Each attraction has its own float, but you have to carry it to the boarding area, which is a bit heavy and tiring.

Since the return bus was at 3:30 PM, I ended up with some free time and decided to take the city bus back before noon. I asked a Japanese staff member at the ticket counter for directions to the bus stop. (Since I was participating in a tour, I informed them that I wouldn't be using the return bus and provided my name.)

The bus stop is about a 15-minute walk away, but it might be a bit dangerous as you walk through a busy area. Additionally, there are several bus stops for different destinations, so it can be a bit challenging to find the one for Waikiki. I took the C bus. It took about an hour to get to Ala Moana.

11月の平日に利用しました。
ホテルからバスに乗り30分ちょっとです。
オープン時間前に到着するので、一番乗りで楽しめます。
パークには日本人のスタッフがいて入場前に簡単に説明があります。
この日は流れるプールがメンテナンス中のため、普段有料のアトラクションが無料になるとのことでした。

有料ロッカーは大と小があります。
手前の機械でお金を払い、表示された番号のロッカーを使います。
鍵はなく、四桁の暗証番号で開錠します。
小は13$、大は18$だったと思います。
小は物凄く小さいですが、押し込めば大人２人分の荷物はなんとか収まります。
一度お金を払えば開閉は何度でも出来ます。

風があり少し寒かったですが、日差しも強いので水着+上着で遊びました。
混雑も全くなく、どのアトラクションも並ばずに楽しめました。
並ばないため、一時間ほどでほとんどのアトラクションを制覇してしまい残り時間に困るほどでした。

アトラクションごとに専用の浮き輪があるのですが、それを乗り場まで運んでいかなければならず、少し重いので疲れます。

迎えのバスが15:30だったので、時間を持て余してしまい昼前に市バスで帰ることにしました。
チケット売り場の日本人の方にバス停を聞きました。（ツアーで参加しているので帰りのバスは利用しない旨、名前などを伝えました）

バス停は歩いて15分くらいのところにありますが、車通りの多い場所を歩くため少し危ないかもしれません。またバス停は行き先ごとにいくつかあるのでワイキキ行きのバス停を探すのも少し難しいです。Cというバスに乗りました。
アラモアナまで一時間程かかりました。

Amazing experience made better by sharing with friends and family. We would definitely do it again!

I felt that the portions were a bit large for women, but every dish was delicious! The tiramisu dessert was especially exquisite. When I visited, there were no staff members who spoke Japanese, but it wasn't a problem at all. I would like to visit again!

女性には少し量が多かったと感じましたが、味はどの料理も美味しかったです！
特にデザートのティラミスは絶品でした(^^)
利用させて頂いたときは日本語を話せるスタッフの方はいらっしゃらなかったですが、特に問題は無かったです。
また利用したいと思います！

The tour was great, but the weather wasn't favorable... He saw sea turtles while snorkeling! If the weather had been a little better, I would have been satisfied, but there's nothing we can do about it! Haha

I made some good memories!

I wasn't expecting white, shallow sandy beaches at this time of year, but I was surprised to see turtles so close! (laughs) The staff were mostly Japanese and very kind, making my time enjoyable. During snorkeling, I was able to see several turtles, which was a great experience. Thanks to that, I can now spot turtles from the 13th floor lagoon of my hotel in Waikiki! (laughs) I also learned some mini facts about Hawaii that Japanese people might not know, like the "one turtle, one lucky" saying and the fines for harming turtles, which was great. I go to Hawaii every year, and I've already decided to return next year!

時期的に白い浅い砂浜の期待はしていませんでしたが、亀がこんな近くに現れるとは！と、ビックリしました(笑)
スタッフの方は、日本人が多く、とても優しく、楽しく過ごせました。
シュノーケリングでも、亀を何匹も見ることができ、良い体験ができました。
おかげで、ワイキキのホテル13階のラグーンからも、亀を見つけることができるようになりました(笑)
1亀1ラッキーや、亀への罰金について、日本人が知らないハワイのミニ情報を教えて頂け、良かったです。
毎年ハワイに行っていますが、来年もリピ決定です！

The water level this time was waist-deep, but it was very beautiful. I had heard that it wouldn't look as good as in photos, so I wasn't disappointed. The colors of the sea and sky were also very beautiful. I was very satisfied to see sea turtles and manta rays. I didn't go snorkeling because I can't swim, but my colleagues were thrilled to see sea turtles and beautiful fish up close. The staff were very cheerful and energetic, which was great. They were very kind, and I would definitely like to join this crew again when the opportunity arises.

今回の水位は腰下でしたがとても綺麗でした。
なかなか写真みたいにはならないと聞いてましたのでがっかり感はありませんでした。また、海と空の色がとても綺麗でした。ウミガメやマンタも見れて大満足です。シュノーケリングは泳げないからしませんでしたが、同僚たちはまじかてウミガメや綺麗な魚を見れて喜んでいました。
スタッフの方たちはとても明るく、テンション高めで対応してくれて良かったです。とても親切でまた機会あるときは是非このクルー達と参加したいです。

The sandbar had water up to my waist, but I was very satisfied to see the emerald sea. I was also very pleased with the hospitality of the crew. I would love to participate again if I have the chance.

It was really great. The dolphins and sea turtles were wonderful.
You should definitely pay the $10 and rent a wetsuit. As a result, the only people who stayed in the water until the end were those wearing wetsuits. Only 5 or 6 out of 34 people rented them, but most people were really cold. The hamburger was delicious, but I would have preferred mineral water over the strange juice. Almost everyone wasn't drinking it.

すごく良かったです。イルカにウミガメ、すごく素敵でした。
$10ケチらず払って、ウェットスーツは借りるべきです。結果、最後まで海に入ってたのは、ウェットスーツを着てる人だけでした。5~6人/34人中、しか借りてませんでしたが、ほとんどの人は、すごく寒がってました。ハンバーガーは美味しかったですが、変なジュースよりミネラルウォーターが欲しかったで。ほとんどみんな飲んでなかった。

Overall, I think it was good, but depending on where you sit, the view seemed to vary quite a bit, which was disappointing. Also, since it's not something you get to do often, it was a valuable experience.

全体的には、良かったとおもいますが…座る位置によっては見え方に随分差があったみたいでそれが残念でした。後潜水艦に乗るような事はないので貴重な体験が出来ました。

Friendly staff and a sunny day. Shorter than expected but a great day on the water.

Overall, I was satisfied with the service, but the heavy rain made the sea very rough and the visibility wasn't great. Still, it was cleaner compared to the seas in Japan... It's understandable given the weather, but it's disappointing considering the high price I paid. I would like to try again next time.

サービスは全体的に満足ですが、何と言っても大雨で海は大荒れ、透明度もイマイチ。それでも日本の海に比べたら綺麗でしたが…天候のせいなので仕方ないのですが、高いお金を払っただけに残念です。次回またリベンジしたいです。

Meeting early in the morning was tough, and I was sleepy, but when I got to swim in the ocean and encountered a pod of dolphins, it was simply "moving"! There was even a baby dolphin about the size of a football!

At the snorkeling spot, a wild turtle came up to the surface for air right in front of me. It was so cute.

Since it was November, it was a bit chilly...

早朝の集合で、眠たかったけど海に入りイルカの群れに出会えた時は、”感動”の一言！
アメフトボールぐらいのサイズの赤ちゃんイルカもいました！

シュノーケリングポイントでは、目の前に野生のカメが、空気を吸いに海面に。
とってもかわいかったです。

１１月だったので、少し寒かったかな。。。
