Shortly after setting sail, we could see the hotels in Waikiki and Diamond Head, and we enjoyed the view from the sea. The ship was large, and there was no rocking, so there was no worry about seasickness.

For lunch, we were served turkey sandwiches and roast beef sandwiches, which were delicious.

At that moment, we were able to see four whales about 5 meters from the ship.

出航 してから間もなく、ワイキキのホテルやダイアモンドヘッドが見えて、海からの景色も楽しむことが出来ます。 船も大きく、揺れもありません。船酔いの心配ありません。

ランチで用意されていた。ターキーサンドとローストビーフサンドは、美味しいです。

そんな時に、4頭のクジラが船から5m ぐらいのところで観ることが出来ました。

We visited Hawaii for our honeymoon and participated as a couple. We chose the timing that matched the lowest tide during our stay, but the water level was still a bit higher than our ankles. It was unfortunate that it wasn't a day when the sandbar fully appeared, but it was great that we were able to visit during a clear time after it had rained in the morning.

The day's flow was as follows:
- Picked up from the hotel
- Moved by boat (we had malasadas, and the view of Kualoa Ranch was beautiful)
- After docking, walked to the sandbar (the water level was about waist-high at first; wearing reef shoes is reassuring)
- Photo time at the sandbar (group photos were taken, and individual photos are also available for a fee)
- Returned to the boat for a meal (delicious, with seconds available, and the coffee was great!)
- Snorkeling (some groups had their meals afterward; there were plenty of fish, but the visibility was just okay. We could borrow wetsuits for free)
- Remaining time for marine activities (though it was brief, we could do stand-up paddleboarding)
- Returned to the port (a rainbow appeared)
- Transferred back to the hotel by bus.

Since there were mostly Japanese tourists and the guide spoke Japanese, we were able to relax and enjoy our time. Thank you very much.

新婚旅行でハワイに訪れ、夫婦で参加しました。
日時は事前に滞在する期間で一番、干潮のタイミングが合うときを選びましたが、それでも足首よりも少し高い位置の水位でした。完全にサンドバーが現れる干潮の日ではなく残念でしたが、午前中は雨が降っていたので運よく晴れた時間帯に訪れることができてよかったです。
一日の流れは、ホテルにお迎え
⇒船で移動（マラサダ食べる、クアロアランチがきれいにみえた）
⇒停泊後、船を下りてサンドバーまで歩く（最初は腰くらいの水位、リーフシューズがあると安心）
⇒サンドバーで記念撮影タイム（全体で記念撮影、個人写真もとってくれますが有料）
⇒船に戻って食事（おいしい、おかわりもできるし、コーヒーもおいしかった！）
⇒シュノーケリング（食事があとのグループもありました、魚はたくさんいましたが透明度はままあです。ウェットスーツを無料で借りれました）
⇒残り時間はマリンアクティビティ（ほんとちょっとでしたが、スタンドアップパドルもできました）
⇒港に帰る（虹が出た）⇒バスでホテルまで送迎、でした。
日本人観光客ばかりだったのと、ガイドさんが日本語OKなので安心して過ごすことができました。ありがとうございました。

I took the city bus to Aloha Tower Marketplace (the meeting place). Right next to Aloha Tower Marketplace, there is a boat docked, and the reception is right in front of it. The office opens at 8 AM, but since we arrived early, the reception wasn't open yet, which caused a bit of confusion. For those making their way to the meeting place on their own, I think using the boat next to Aloha Tower Marketplace as a landmark is a good idea.

As soon as we boarded the boat at 8 AM, there was a bit of time (about 45 minutes) before departure. We didn't eat, but you can have breakfast on board.

As for the whales, we were able to see them. When a whale is spotted, the staff will indicate the direction based on the time on the clock. You can see the direction they point to, or others will point as well, so we were able to see the whales multiple times.

However, whales dive quickly, and depending on the location, they can only be seen from a distance, so I recommend bringing a DSLR camera if you have one.

市バス（The Bus)を使って、アロハタワーマーケットプレイス（集合場所）まで行きました。
アロハタワーマーケットプレイスのすぐ横に船が止まっており、その目の前が受付になります。
8時から事務所が開くのですが、私たちは早めに着いていたので、受付が開いておらず少し迷いました。
集合場所まで自力で行く方は、アロハタワーマーケットプレイスすぐ横の船を目印にしたらいいと思います。

8時にすぐに船に乗り込むと、出航までは少し時間（45分ぐらい）があります。私たちは食べませんでしたが、船内で朝食をとることもできます。

肝心のぐじらですが、見ることができました。クジラが見えるとスタッフの方が時計の時間で方向を教えてくれます。その方向を見るか、他の方が一斉に指をさすので何度もくじらを見ることができました。

但し、くじらはすぐに潜ってしまうのと、場所によっては遠くからしか見えないので、一眼レフカメラを持っている方は、持っていくことをお勧めします。

On February 7, 2018, I went on the long-awaited Whole Watching tour with my wife aboard the Majestic. The weather was nice that day, and the voyage was smooth with little rocking. We encountered whales about ten times, which made us very satisfied.

Since we were staying in Ko Olina, we joined the tour at the meeting point, but it was difficult to find Pier 6. We finally arrived after asking a local near Aloha Tower for directions. I think it would be helpful if a map of how to get there was posted on the website. - A 70-year-old man

2018/02/07妻とマジョスティク号で待望のWhole Wachingに出かけました。当日は天気も良く揺れもすくない航海で、鯨も10回程遭遇し満足しました。
コオリナに滞在していた為、現地集合で参加しましたが、ピアー6が判り難く、アロハタワー付近で現地の方に聞いてやっとたどり着きました。ホームページに行き方地図を掲載された方がいいと思います。70歳男性

The shuttle to Diamond Head is perfectly priced and provides a great morning excursion. Diamond Head is a must see when visiting Oahu, so this inexpensive excursion fit the bill.

I was really worried about whether I would actually see anything, but I was glad that there were plenty of opportunities to see a lot! The operation was smooth, and the explanations on the boat were clear and varied, which made it very enjoyable!

本当に見られるか不安でしたが、実際たくさん見れるチャンスがあり良かったです!オペーレーションもスムーズで、船の上でも分かりやすく色々な説明をして下さりとても楽しめました!

Unfortunately, I couldn't see any whales. The wind was strong, and it was chilly being outside for a long time. Since I couldn't see any whales, they offered a re-boarding ticket at the end, but I had to decline as I didn't have the time to board again. The meal was average. The ship was nice, and there weren't too many people, so that was a positive aspect.

残念ながらクジラを見ることはできませんでした。
風も強く、ずっと外に出ていると肌寒かったです。
クジラを見ることができなかったので再乗船券を最後に発行してくれますが、日程的に乗船する余裕がなく断念。
食事は普通でした。
キレイな船で、人もそんなに多くなかったので、その点はよかったです。

I checked the low tide days as much as possible and made a reservation. Even in the shallowest areas, the water level reached about my calves.

I rented a GoPro from Japan in advance to participate, and I was able to take really good photos and videos, so I recommend preparing a waterproof camera. I remember that it was quite expensive to rent one on-site for this tour.

The staff were cheerful, fun, and kind, and they took a lot of photos for us.

Breakfast was a buffet, and I didn't have high expectations, but it was delicious.

I joined this tour because I wanted to see sea turtles, but unfortunately, when the boat left the sandbar and returned, I could only see a little bit of a shell from a distance... It was really disappointing... Other than that, it was a very enjoyable and satisfying tour. I want to try again someday!

なるべく引き潮の日を調べて予約しました。
一番浅いところでもふくらはぎくらいまで水位がありました。

予め、日本からGOPROをレンタルして参加しましたがとても良い写真と動画を撮ることができましたので、防水カメラを用意することをおすすめします。
このツアーで当日その場で借りることもできるそうですが、結構料金が高かったこと記憶しています。

スタッフの方々も明るく楽しく親切な方々で、写真もたくさん撮ってくれました。

朝食はバイキング形式で、あまり期待をしていなかったのですが美味しかったです。

ウミガメを見たかったのでこのツアーに参加したのですが、残念ながら今回は船がサンドバーを離れて戻る時に、遠くからほんの少し甲羅が見れたくらいでした…本当に残念です…
それ以外はとても楽しく満足できるツアーでした。
またいつかリベンジしたいです！

About seven years ago, I participated in Dolphin University and liked it so much that I wanted to join again for this honeymoon, so I signed up. As expected... Dolphin University is the best!! As soon as we boarded, we were told, "There are dolphins!" We hurriedly prepared, and within 10 minutes of boarding, we met the dolphins!! That day, we got to try it twice, and my husband, who was visiting Hawaii for the first time, was super excited! Because we met the dolphins so quickly, we had plenty of time for snorkeling, and we were able to swim with a mother and baby sea turtle, which we couldn't see last time. We also got to experience surfing on a board together and played on the slide from the boat... it was a very satisfying half-day tour!! Additionally, there were snacks and juice on the boat, and on the way back, they provided cheeseburgers and juice♡ What I felt again this time, just like last time, is that not only can you swim with the dolphins, but the fun stories from all the staff and their enjoyment are what make the Dolphin University tour so great♡ I'm really glad I participated in Dolphin University!! Thank you so much!!

　7年ほど前にイルカ大学に参加させてもらい大変気に入ったため、今回のハネムーンでも是非参加したいと思い申込みました。やはり…イルカ大学は最高です!!乗船した途端「イルカ先生がいますよ」との事。急いで準備し、乗船10分でイルカに会えました!!その日は合計2度トライさせて頂き、ハワイが初めての旦那様も大興奮でした!イルカに早く会えたことからシュノーケリングの時間もたっぷりあり、前回は会えなかったウミガメの親子とも泳ぐことができました。サーフボードも2人で経験させてもらい、船からの滑り台で遊んで…と大満足の半日ﾂｱｰでした!!また、船の上でスナック菓子とジュース、帰りのバスではチーズバーガーとジュースの用意がありました♡今回改めて感じたことは、前回と同様に、イルカと一緒に泳げるだけでなく、スタッフ皆さんの楽しいお話やとっても楽しんでいる姿がイルカ大学のﾂｱｰの良さなんだということです♡イルカ大学に参加して本当に良かったです!!本当にありがとうございました!!

Breakfast is good and we saw probably 5-8 whales!! Highly recommend during whale season

I saw whales. There were mostly large whales with spouts and tails, and I saw a pod of 2 to 3 whales about 4 to 5 times. I couldn't see the baby whales with the naked eye, but it was still a valuable experience.

With lunch included, I felt full both in my stomach and heart.

クジラ見えました。潮吹きと尾びれ大きなクジラばかりでしたが、2～3頭の群れのクジラを4～5回、赤ちゃんクジラは肉眼では見えませんでしたが。とでも貴重な体験をしました。

ランチ付きでお腹も心もいっぱいになりました。

I learned about a pool with a thrilling slide on TV before. I love pool slides, so I made a reservation right away. There were almost only slides, and I was very excited. The staff also taught me how to use the lockers, which was reassuring.
The slides were all unique, unlike anything in Japan, and I couldn't stop laughing.
I want to go again.

以前テレビで絶叫スライダーがあるプールのことを知りました。プールのスライダーが凄く好きなのですぐに予約しました。ほぼ、スライダーしかなくとても興奮しました。ロッカーの使い方もスタッフの方が教えてくれるので安心です。
日本にはなぃようなスライダーばっかりで笑いが止まりませんでした。
また、行きたいです。

The wind was strong, and after having lunch, my body got cold, so I gave up. The slider was the most fun, sliding on the mat.

風が強くて、お昼食べたら体が冷え
そこで断念しました。
スライダーはマットの上ですべるものがいちばん楽しかったです。

I was looking forward to seeing whales, but in the end, I only saw a little bit of a tail far away towards the end of the cruise. The tour company might consider that a success, but I wonder if that's really enough to say we saw whales... Honestly, I was disappointed.

クジラを見るのを楽しみに行きましたが、結局、クルーズ終盤に遠くに少しだけテールが見えたのみ。催行会社としては、あれでも見れた、となるのでしょうが、あれで見れたとするのばいかがなものかと、、、。正直がっかりでした。

I was able to see colorful fish, sea turtles, and sharks! I was moved to see the beautiful ocean. As I leaned forward and gazed out the window, I was occasionally surprised by small fish darting right in front of the window, which made for a fun experience.

カラフルな魚や、ウミガメ、サメを見ることができました！キレイな海を見ることができて感動でした。身を乗り出して窓の外を見つめていると、たまに小さな魚が窓のすぐ近く（目の前）をちょこちょこと横切って驚かされたり、楽しい体験でした。

【Negative Points】
It was way too cold at the beginning of February.
While the cold isn't the crew's fault, it was freezing, and we were served ice-cold juice. Haha.
I wish I had received accurate advice on how to stay warm in advance.


【Did I get to see dolphins?】
This was a bit disappointing!
I couldn't get close enough to swim with them.
It was more like a distance suitable for a cruising tour.
But since they are wild animals and there are laws, it can't be helped. The crew did their best, so I'll definitely try again!


【For those who will participate in the future】
In winter,
you should definitely bring Uniqlo's Ultra Light Down and disposable raincoats if you have them! (A shammy is super useful if you have one.)

Basically, everything gets wet because you put it on over a wet wetsuit. I found the shammy I brought to be incredibly useful! Once the bath towel gets wet, it's useless, so I wiped off as much water as possible with the shammy, then put on the bath towel, wore the 100 yen raincoat to block the wind and moisture, and then put on the Ultra Light Down, which was just right.

Out of 40 people, only 4.5 managed to swim happily without getting seasick until the end.
The rest were all throwing up, and only 4.5 people participated in all three dives.

Those with weak vestibular systems who can't swim will definitely get seasick since they can only float.

I personally have a weak vestibular system, but since I was constantly swimming, I wasn't affected by the swaying, so I managed to get through it.

This is an activity for those who are confident in their physical strength!

２月頭には 寒すぎる。
寒いのはクルーのせいではないが、
震えるほど寒いのに、キンキンに冷えたジュースが出てくる。笑
防寒に対しての的確なアドバイスが事前に欲しい。


【イルカに会えたか】
ここがちょっと残念！
一緒に泳ぐほど近くにいけなかった。
クルージングのツアーでも良いくらいの距離。
でも、自然の生き物だし 法律もあるからしょうがない。 クルーもみんな頑張ってくれたからまたリベンジするね！

【これから参加する方へ】
冬であれば
・ユニクロの ウルトラライトダウンと使い捨てのカッパ、あれば絶対持っていくべき！ (セームがあれば超使える)

基本的に濡れたウエットスーツの上に羽織るので全て濡れます。 水泳で使うセームを持っていったらめちゃくちゃ重宝しました！！ バスタオルは濡れたら終わりなのでセームで水気をできるだけ拭き取ってから バスタオルをはおり、100均のカッパをはおり風と水気を遮ってから その上にウルトラライトダウンを着たのでちょうど良かった。


40人中、酔わないで最後まで元気に泳げたのは4.5人。
あとはみんな 吐いてたし、3回のダイブを全部参加したのはたった4.5人でした。

三半規管が弱くて 水泳ができない人は 浮いているしかないので 確実に酔います。

私自身は 三半規管は弱いですが 常に泳いでいたので揺れに左右されなかったのでクリアできました。


体力に自信のある人向けのアクティビティです！

残念ながらクジラを見ることは出来ませんでしたが、景色の良いクルージングをした事は良かったです！次回また、挑戦したいと思っています！

It was tough getting up early, but the ship was luxurious and there was an explanation in Japanese, which was great. However, I suffered from severe seasickness. My friend, who didn't get seasick, said they only saw the whale's tail. The staff were very accommodating, and the person in the hall showed us a video of the whale when it appeared on their phone! This time, I chose not to have breakfast, but the food looked delicious, and I was able to add it for $13 per person.

朝早くからで大変でしたが、船が豪華で日本語での説明もあり、よかったです。ただ、船酔いが酷かったです。船酔いしなかった友人はクジラのしっぽだけは見れたと言ってました。スタッフさんの対応が良く、ホールの方のケータイでクジラが現れた時の動画を見せていただきました！今回、朝食なしを選択したのですが、周りの人が食べているのが美味しそうで1人13ドルで追加できました。

We started with a photo shoot, then boarding, followed by a buffet-style meal, and finally, we set sail. Within about an hour and a half, we encountered multiple whales. However, it seems that seeing whales breach is quite rare. Even so, just being able to see their dorsal fins and flippers up close was exciting! If you let your excitement take over and talk to the international guests, it can lead to great cultural exchanges! I did feel a bit seasick, but overall, I was very satisfied.

写真撮影→乗船→食事(ビュッフェスタイル)→出港の順でスタート。1時間半程度で複数回、クジラに出会えました。ただ、クジラが跳ねるような仕草は滅多に見れないそうです。それでも近くで背びれとヒレを見ることができるだけでテンション上がります！テンションに任せて外国の皆様に話しかけると良い異文化交流にも！船酔いしちゃって辛かったですが、それでも満足度高かったです。

We participated with a total of 10 people, from my 70-year-old grandfather to my 4-year-old grandchild. A lucky memory was seeing a sea turtle, while an unfortunate experience was the jungle tour in a downpour.

70歳の祖父からと4歳の孫まで合計10名で参加しました。運良くウミガメが見られたことと運悪くスコールの中でのジャングルツアーは良い思い出です。

Overall, it was cloudy, but it was great that it was sunny during the dolphin watching by boat and at the water play area.

The weather had not been good for about a week, and there was a possibility that we might not see any dolphins, but we were able to see a pod of about 20 dolphins and a sea turtle, which was amazing.
*Some people were feeling nauseous, so I think it would be a good idea to take motion sickness medication with you or bring some along.

全体的に曇りでしたが、ボートで向かうイルカウォッチング、水上遊び場所では晴れていて良かったです。

1週間程天候が良くなく、イルカを見ることが出来ない可能性があるとのことでしたが、無事に20匹程の群れとウミガメを見ることが出来て最高でした。
※吐いてる方もいましたので、酔い止めは飲んでくるか、または持って行っても良いと思いました

I had a very precious experience being able to see a baby whale up close. My one-and-a-half-year-old daughter was with me, but she fell asleep during the boat's rocking. After she woke up, she was happy walking around the boat. I was satisfied that we also got to see dolphins at the end, but the boat was rocking a lot... A few people ended up getting sick, and my husband was fighting to hold it together. My daughter and I managed to be okay. I think it's a good idea to take motion sickness medication!

赤ちゃんクジラも近くで観れてとても貴重な経験出来ました。
1歳半の娘も一緒でしたが、船の揺れで途中はお寝んね。
起きてからは船の中で歩いたりご機嫌でした。
最後にいるかも見れたので満足でしたが、
船が揺れて揺れて、、、
何人かリバースしてしまったり、主人もギリギリの戦いをしてました。
私と娘はなんとかセーフ。
酔い止め薬は飲んでおくべきだと思います！

I was overwhelmed with joy to interact with dolphins for the first time! There were Japanese-speaking staff, so I had no trouble at all. However, there weren't many places to spend time at Sea Life Park, which left me with a bit of free time. It was nice that I could watch some shows, though.

初めてイルカと触れ合えて感無量です！日本語のスタッフの方もいるので全く困りませんでした。ただ、シーライフパーク自体あまり時間を潰すところがなく少し暇な時間がありました。ショーなど見れたのでよかったです。

There was no sand beach but the water only came to my knees It was awesome to stand in the ocean even if you can’t swim. No scary wave or under tow to worry about. The crew were efficient alerts for topknot.i would recommend this to everyone I wish I had brought my 7 year old grandson. The cute old guy playing the guitar set the mood and all was well with the world we were in Hawaii We got to see lots sea turtles!! If you swim this will exceed your expectations if was fun watching the kids snorkel and we could tell them from the boat where the turtles were! I was setting next to Japanese prince or something because when I tried to talk to him he ignored me so I told the crew that spoke Japanese to tell him it’s was fun visiting with him he laughed and nodded at me

My husband and I elected for the Appetizer Cruise option on the Fireworks night (Friday). The Majestic was a solid, stable boat with seating and standing / inside and outside options. Additional drinks were reasonably priced and the buffet appetizers were tasty. The evening entertainers (two musicians and a Hula dancer) were terrific.

Given that this cruise is only on Fridays I booked it from home before leaving, which also gave us something to look forward to in advance, thiugh later learned that some folks were able to secure a spot a few days before. For the price, thus is MUST! I will forever remember watching the fireworks from the ocean with the backdrop of Waikiki hotels all aglow....

We were able to see whales several times! So, I am satisfied.

However, on this day, the waves were quite rough, and about half of the passengers on board were vomiting due to seasickness, which was quite a scene. Fortunately, my family all took motion sickness medication before boarding, so we managed to avoid getting sick, but the rocking was enough to make anyone anxious, even with the medication.

While it's understandable since we are dealing with nature, during the two and a half hours of the trip, those who got sick were not able to enjoy the whales at all. It was noted that the Majestic is less prone to rocking, but depending on the weather, it can still be quite bumpy. Therefore, I strongly recommend taking motion sickness medication before going.

数回クジラ見えました！ですので満足です。


しかしこの日はかなり揺れが凄く、乗船した方の約半数の方々が船酔いで嘔吐されており大変な様子でした。
幸いにもうちの家族は全員乗船前に酔い止めを服用していた為、酔わずに済みましたが服用していても不安になるほどの揺れでした。

自然が相手ですので仕方ないとはいえ、乗船時間2時間半の間、酔われた方々はクジラどころではない様子でした。
マジェスティック号は揺れにくいと記載されていましたが、天候によってはかなり揺れます。
ですので、しっかりと酔い止めを服用されていくことをお勧めします。

I was a bit worried about getting seasick since we were going out on a boat, but it didn't rock at all, and I was completely fine. The BBQ hamburger was delicious, and we saw a lot of sea turtles, so it was a very satisfying tour. I highly recommend it. However, maybe because it was January, it was really cold out on the water, and I couldn't fully enjoy snorkeling, which was a bit disappointing.

船で沖にでるので、船酔いが若干不安でしたが、全く揺れることなく大丈夫でした。ＢＢＱハンバーガーも美味な上に、ウミガメもめっちゃ見れ、大満足のツアーでした。お勧めします。ただ、1月だからなのか、沖に行くと寒くて、寒くて、シュノーケリングが満喫できなかったのでが残念でした。

I was glad to encounter more sea turtles than I had imagined. The snorkeling was organized in a way where participants moved along the coral reef in a line, so I was focused on keeping pace with those in front, behind, and beside me, leaving me little room to leisurely enjoy the underwater scenery. It would have been nice to have a bit more space to take my time and enjoy it.

想像以上にたくさんのウミガメに出会えて良かったです。シュノーケリングはツアー参加者が連なる形で珊瑚礁に沿って進むスタイルだったので、前後左右の参加者のペースに合わせる事に精一杯でゆっくりと海中の景色を楽しむ余裕がありませんでした。もう少し間隔を空けてゆっくり楽しめたら良かったです。

I was really helped out.
First, the power of the slide!!! For a moment, I thought my mind went blank, and then the high-speed spin exploded. It reminded me of my childhood. There are still so many more!
I thought the food at places like this wouldn't be good, but the cheeseburger was surprisingly high quality! With thick meat and refreshing tomatoes, it was unbeatable with a beer...
I really enjoyed the pool to the point where I wondered if it was really February!

ほんまにたすかりました。
まずスライダーの威力！！！一瞬頭が真っ白になったかと思うと今度は高速スピンが炸裂しました。我ながら子供のころをおもいだしました。他にもまだまだたくさん！
どーせこーゆとこの食べ物なんて美味しくないだろうと思ってましたが、チーズハンバーガーだけわクオリティ高めでした！分厚いお肉にさっぱりトマト、ビールと一緒にこれわたまんないね…
本当に2月か！？と思えるくらいプールで楽しめました。
