I woke up early with the kids and was excited to go.

I had heard that the captain would let us know if there were whales, but I couldn't understand in English, so I hurried to follow everyone else. Unfortunately, we didn't get to see any whales. It's a natural occurrence, so I understand, but I started to think that maybe I don't need to try again.

However, the staff was kind, and the boat was wonderful!

英語で分からず、皆が動く方へ急いでついて行ったけど
くじらの姿は見れなくて残念でした。

リベンジはもういいかなって思ってしまいました

でもスタッフさんは親切で素敵な船でした！

The low tide at the sandbar was in the early afternoon, so the tour was scheduled for later in the day. The staff's humorous commentary as we headed to the scenic points really lifted my spirits. The staff were highly skilled and very attentive to safety. The sandbar was breathtaking, we saw four sea turtles, and the barbecue was delicious, making for a very satisfying experience.

サンドバーの干潮時間が昼過ぎだったので、午後からのツアーでした。スタッフのユーモアたっぷりのトークで絶景ポイントに向かい、とても気分が上がりました。スタッフのレベルが高く、安全にもとても気遣ってくれました。サンドバーは絶景だし、ウミガメは4匹も見れて、バーベキューも美味しくて大満足でした

We gathered in the morning and took a bus to the dock. The boat was large and impressive, and it was great that it didn't sway much. Fortunately, we encountered a pod of whales several times. Although we were a bit far from them, we could definitely feel their presence, which was very fulfilling. It seems that the encounter rate is high, so I think it's worth going during whale season.

朝集合し、バスで船着場から船へ。大きくて立派な船で、そんな揺れもなくてよかったです。
幸いクジラの群れに何度も遭遇できました。船からの距離は少し離れていたものの、その存在はしっかり感じられて、充実感がありました^_^
遭遇率も高いようなので、クジラのシーズンには行って損はないと思います。

We boarded a large ship and headed offshore from Honolulu. We could see the Honolulu skyline and Diamond Head, and we searched for whales at a distance quite close to the land.

When a whale is spotted, there’s an announcement on the ship saying, “There it is at the direction of ◯ o'clock,” so we can move smoothly. (laugh)

In the first half, the whales were so far away that we couldn’t see them at all without binoculars, and I wasn’t excited at all. However, in the second half, suddenly two whales came close to the ship! I was thrilled to see them spouting water and their fins with the naked eye! I felt the grandeur of nature. I highly recommend it! 😊

大きな船に乗ってホノルルの沖合へ。
普通にホノルルのビル群や、
ダイヤモンドヘッドが見える、
陸からかなり近い距離でくじらを探します。

見つかったら船内アナウンスで、
◯時の方向にいますよー
って放送があるので、
スムーズに移動しましょう。笑

前半はまったく近くに見えず、
双眼鏡が必要なレベルの遠い距離にいるだけで、
まったくテンション上がりませんでした。
しかし、後半になって、急に二頭のクジラが
船のそばへ！
肉眼で潮を吹く様子や、ヒレが見えて感動！
自然の雄大さを感じました。
とてもオススメです(^^)

It was my first whale watching cruise. Since you can't guarantee a sighting, I was nervous, but I'm glad we were able to see them safely.

We didn't see the spectacular jumps like in the photos, but a baby whale popped its head up several times, and it was very cute. I wonder if it was practicing its jumps?

The cruise was longer than I expected, and even if we hadn't seen any whales, I think I would have been fully satisfied just enjoying the beautiful sea and scenery of Hawaii.

By the way, we took the bus from our hotel in Honolulu to the meeting point, and even as a first-time bus rider in Hawaii, I arrived safely. However, the bus frequency is low, so be careful with the timing.

Next time, I hope to see some impressive jumps!

初めてのホエールウォッチングクルーズでした。必ず見れるわけではないので、ドキドキでしたが、無事に見れて良かったです。
写真で見るような豪快なジャンプは見れませんでしたが、赤ちゃんクジラが何度も顔を出してくれて、とても可愛かったです。ジャンプの練習してたのかな？
思ったよりクルージングも長く、もしクジラが見れなかったとしても、ハワイの綺麗な海と景色が見れて充分満足だったと思います。
ちなみに、集合場所までは自分たちでホノルルのホテルからバスで行きましたが、ハワイのバス初体験の私でも無事に到着できました。ただし、バスの本数は少ないので、時間には要注意です。

次回は、豪快な迫力あるジャンプが見れれば良いなと思います。

The weather was great, and it was the best! Thanks to the Japanese staff, I was able to receive thorough explanations, and the foreign staff also played along with us and were very kind, so I was extremely satisfied!!!

また日本人スタッフのおかげで、丁寧な説明も聞くことができ、外国人スタッフの方も一緒に遊んでくださったり、大変優しかったので大満足でした！！！

I think it's a convenient location right in the center of Waikiki, perfect for strolling around or after shopping. The atmosphere of the store was nice, and the staff were very pleasant. The presentation was beautiful, and the taste was great too!

ワイキキの中心地にあって、ブラブラしたり買い物の後などに利用しやすいロケーションだと思います。
お店の雰囲気も良く、スタッフもとても感じよかったです。
盛り付けもきれいで味もよかったです！！

It was a bit cold but lots of fun!!

We participated with a total of 14 family members after the family ceremony. Since we had a 3-year-old child with us, we only joined the activities involving rides, but the Jurassic Park movie location and the jungle tour in the Kualoa mountains were quite bumpy, and the child enjoyed it like a roller coaster. The lunch time was a bit short, about 40 minutes, so we hurriedly ate, and afterwards, we had a farm tour with tastings. Since my aunt and parents are in their 60s, we moved around by rides, which seemed manageable for them physically. Everyone had a great time, and we took a lot of photos, so we were very satisfied!

家族挙式後の両家総勢14人で参加。3歳の子供もいたので、乗り物のアクティビティだけの参加でしたが、ジュラシックパーク映画ロケ地や、クアロアの山のジャングルツアーは結構車が揺れて子供はジェットコースターみたいで楽しんでました。ランチの時間が少し短く40分くらいだったのでバタバタご飯食べて、その後は農園ツアーで試食付き。叔母や両親も60代なので、全て乗り物に乗って移動だったので体力的にも大丈夫なようでした。みんなで楽しめたし写真もたくさん撮ってもらって満足です！

I went in mid-February. I tried to make a reservation with Captain Cruise since they can get you close, but it was fully booked, so I made a reservation here instead. It didn't matter at all; we arrived right at the sandbar and were able to play on it!

It was a bit cold since it was February, but it was possible to go into the sea. When the sun was shining, it felt warm, but when it was hidden by clouds, it felt a bit chilly. After that, we had lunch on the boat and went to a coral reef spot to snorkel. It was also cold there, and we joked that if we didn't dive in, there was no point in coming. However, we gave up after about 10 minutes. Everyone looked cold. After that, we were able to get warm drinks on the boat, which was nice.

2月中旬に行きました。キャプテンクルーズだと近くまで行けるとのことで予約しようとしたら予約埋まって、こちらで予約しました。全然そんなの関係なくて、普通にサンドバーの岸に着いて、サンドバーの上で遊べました！

2月なのでやや寒かったけど海に入ることは可能でした。太陽に照らされていると暖かいですが、雲に隠れるとちょっと肌寒いって感じ。そのあと船上でランチして、サンゴ礁スポットに行きシュノーケルしました。これまた同じく寒くて、潜らないと来た意味ないねって話ながら入りましたけど10ぷんくらいでギブアップ。みんな寒そうでした。そのあとは船上で暖かい飲み物もらえてよかった。

I participated alone this time. It was my first time joining, but the crew was very kind, attentive, and warm, which made me feel safe participating alone! The weather didn't clear up much, but the sandbar was still very beautiful. Since it was a morning plan, the brunch was delicious too! The crew's stories were also very interesting. I had some anxiety about swimming, so I decided to skip snorkeling this time, but I definitely want to participate next time! I had a great time spending my free time just enjoying the sea! I fell even more in love with the ocean! I was also able to see a turtle, which made me very satisfied! I was truly healed by the magnificent nature and the crew. I definitely want to join again when I go to Hawaii. Thank you very much!

今回、一人で参加しました。
初めて参加いたしましたが、クルーの皆様がとても親切丁寧で温かく、一人でも安心して参加できました！お天気がかなかなか晴れになりませんでしたが、それでもサンドバーはとても綺麗でした。朝発のプランでしたので、ブランチも美味しかったです♪
クルーの方のお話もとても面白かったです。
シュノーケリングは、泳ぎに不安があり今回は断念しましたが、次回は絶対参加したいと思います!
自由時間もずっと海で自由に過ごせ、本当に楽しかったです‼︎海がもっと大好きになりました!

I had previously interacted with dolphins in Japan, but I was drawn to participate in this rare activity where you can swim with wild dolphins! I chose this tour particularly because of its 30 years of experience and the presence of Japanese staff, and it was definitely the right choice!! From the pick-up, the energetic Japanese staff elevated our spirits and made the tour exciting. Once we got on the boat, the foreign staff were all friendly, making it a fun experience from start to finish!

The wild dolphins exceeded my expectations, swimming beneath us in incredible numbers and coming back to us multiple times! On that day, they even showcased spin jumps! After that, we moved to the snorkeling spot, where we encountered sea turtles and were able to swim with them. On the return boat ride, we even spotted whales that were in Hawaii during this season!

The staff promptly pointed out the dolphins, sea turtles, and whales, so we hardly missed anything! Additionally, we got to play on a slide that goes into the sea, and there was also a hula dance by the staff, making it a luxurious tour that never got boring! It was worth more than the price we paid!!

日本でイルカと触れ合ったことはありましたが、野生のイルカと泳げるという貴重なアクティビティに惹かれ参加しました！特にツアーを始めて30年という実績がある点と日本人スタッフがいる点で選びましたが、大正解でした！！お迎えから気持ちを高めてくれる元気な日本人スタッフさんがツアーを盛り上げてくれ、船に着いてからも外国人スタッフさんもフレンドリーな方ばかりで始終楽しかったです！そして野生のイルカは想像を超える数のイルカが私たちの下を泳いでくれ、何度も来てくれました！この日はスピンジャンプも披露してくれました！その後シュノーケルの場所に移動し、ここでウミガメにも遭遇し一緒に泳ぐことができ、帰りの船ではこの時期にハワイにきているクジラにも遭遇できました！
イルカもウミガメもクジラもすぐにスタッフさんが教えてくれるので見逃すことがほとんどありませんでした！
他にも海に飛び込む滑り台で遊べたり、スタッフの方のフラダンスもあり、飽きることのない贅沢なツアーでした！お値段以上の価値がありました！！

I participated in a morning plan that included breakfast. I thought it would be unlikely to see whales, but shortly after we set sail, there was an announcement that whales were nearby. We were able to see the whales' backs and their spouts up close. The boat drifted near the whales for a while, and we continued to see their backs and spouts. Although it was a wonderful breakfast buffet, I was so captivated by the whales that I hardly ate, and I wondered if breakfast was even necessary. On the way back to the port, we were also able to see a rainbow over the island. While we didn't see the kind of jumps often featured in photos, I was still very satisfied.

午前中の朝食付きのプランで参加しました。くじらはなかなかみられないだろうなと思いながら参加しましたが、出航してすぐにくじらがいると放送があり、くじらが近くにいて、くじらの背中と潮吹きがみられました。その後もくじらの近くを船が漂い、ずっとくじらの背中や潮吹きがみられました。せっかくの朝食ビュッフェでしたが、くじらに夢中であまり食べられず、朝食はなくてもよかったのかなと思いました。帰港中に島にかかった虹もみることができました。写真でよくみるようなジャンプはみられませんでしたが、満足でした。

I participated with five friends. Perhaps because it wasn't the best season, there wasn't the sandy beach I expected, and the seawater was up to my knees, which was quite cold. About half of the people were wearing wetsuits. You can choose to do stand-up paddleboarding or snorkeling, and I participated in snorkeling, so I was glad I got to see a sea turtle! We had meals on the boat, and everything was delicious.

友達5人で参加させて頂きました。ベストシーズンでは無かったためか、思っていた砂浜はなく、海水が膝ぐらいまであり、かなり寒かったです。ウェットスーツを着ている方が半数ほどいらっしゃいました。サップをしたり、シュノーケルをしたり選べるのですが、シュノーケルに参加しウミガメを見ることが出来たので良かったです！
船上でご飯を食べたのですが、どれも美味しくいただきました。

We experienced it as a family of six, but it's hard to say we saw a whale! We only caught a glimpse of its back.

It was a bit windy, but the sky was clear! The sandbar wasn't out, but there was a tour schedule, so it couldn't be helped. However, walking in the sea feels great! You can encounter honu while snorkeling! Other tours have boat entries, but Captain Bruce's tour allows entry from the sandbar, snorkeling right above the honu's habitat! The staff's support was also very satisfying, and I highly recommend it!

I participated with my elderly mother and husband. The food was very delicious, and the show was wonderful. In particular, the host's talk was entertaining, and we were enveloped in laughter and emotion. The guide was also kind and spoke slowly in easy-to-understand English for Japanese people, which was reassuring. After the show, we immediately got on the bus, so I thought it would be good to use the restroom after finishing the meal. The return bus had quite strong air conditioning, so a jacket is definitely necessary.

高齢の母と主人と3人で参加いたしました。食事もとても美味しくショーも素晴らしかったです。
特に司会の方のトークが面白くて笑いと感動に包まれました。ガイドの方も親切で、日本人にはわかりやすい英語でゆっくり話してくれますので、安心です。ショーが終わったらすぐにバスに乗りますので、食事が終わったところでトイレに行っておくといいと思いました。帰りのバスはかなり冷房がきいていますので必ず上着が必要です。

This is the 4th time our family has done this tour. It does not get old! Free pick up in Waikiki. Trip to the biggest sand bar in the world. Cheeseburger (or vegetarian!) lunch. Turtle watching. Snorkeling on private reef. Excellent hosting (with Jenner on the guitar). Great value. DO

I went whale watching in early February 2020. The weather was nice, but we couldn't see any whales. I thought maybe it was a bit early in the season since they apparently don't jump until after giving birth. The hotel sent a bus to pick us up, but it arrived more than 10 minutes late, which made me anxious that we might have gone to the wrong meeting place. Once the bus arrives, they call out names, so there's no need to worry while waiting. I opted for the breakfast option, but there wasn't much time, and the menu was quite limited, which was disappointing. The good thing was that the sea was beautiful! I hope this helps you.

2020年2月初旬にホエールウォッチング。天気良かったけれど、クジラは観れず。子供を産んだ後でないと飛び跳ねないらしく、ちょっとシーズン早かったのかなっと思った。ホテルにバスが迎えにきてくれたが、10分以上遅れてバスが到着。集合場所を間違えたのかと不安になってしまった。バスが来たら名前で呼んでくれるから心配せずに待ってればいい。朝食付きの物にしたが時間が少なく、またメニューもかなり少ないので残念。良かったのは海が綺麗だったってことですかね！参考にしてもらえればと思います。

During our first trip to Hawaii with our 7-month-old daughter, there weren't many activities we could do, but I heard that there were participants as young as 0 years old in this sandbar tour, so we decided to join. I was really anxious before participating, but the tour staff were very cheerful and kind, which made it a lot of fun. Since I couldn't go snorkeling, my husband and I took turns holding our daughter while doing stand-up paddleboarding, which was enjoyable as well. Our daughter didn't sleep on the flight there, so I was tired, but the beautiful scenery was enough to make me forget that fatigue.

今回7ヶ月の娘との初ハワイでなかなか出来るアクティビティが無かったのですが、このサンドバーツアーは0歳でも参加されてる方がいたとの事で参加しました。
実際に参加するまではすごく不安でしたが、ツアーのスタッフさんがとても明るく親切にして下さってとても楽しめました。シュノーケリングが出来ない代わりに夫と娘の抱っこを交代しながらSUPが出来たのでそれも楽しかったです。
行きの飛行機で娘が寝てくれなくて疲れてましたが、その疲れも吹っ飛ぶくらい素敵な景色でした。

I was worried about whether I would really be able to see anything based on the reviews, but from about 30 minutes after departure, I was able to see continuously. I couldn't see the large figure right in front of me, though... I didn't include breakfast, so I went outside early and watched from above. There were English announcements followed by explanations in Japanese, so I think it would be fine for those who don't understand English. Since this ship is large, I think even those who are prone to seasickness would be okay. On the way back, I asked the driver if I could be dropped off at Ala Moana, and I thought he said okay, but in the end, I was just passed by. However, I was able to get off without going to the pickup location, which saved me time for my plans afterward. Next time, I want to go on a slightly smaller ship.

口コミをみて、本当にみられるか心配でしたが、出航して30分くらいからずーっとみれました。
大きな姿を目の前で！というわけにはいかなかったのですが…。
朝食はつけなかったので、早めに外に出て上の方から見てました。
英語のアナウンスに続いて日本語の説明もあり、英語が分からないひとでも問題ないかと思います。
この船は大きいので、酔いやすい人も大丈夫だと思います。
帰りに、アラモアナで降ろしてもらえるかドライバーに聞いたのですが、OKと言ったと思っていたら結局素通りされてしまいましたが、ピックアップの場所まで行かなくても、降りることが出来たので、その後の予定への時間を節約でしました。
次はもう少し小さい船で行きたいと思います。

At first, I was unlucky and thought I wouldn't meet anyone this time, but in the second half, I got to swim with dolphins up close!! The excitement of swimming with dolphins is something I will never forget! I definitely want to participate again next time!

I checked the times for high and low tide in advance from Japan and made a reservation. I signed up for a photo plan, and a dedicated staff member was with us, so we could take pictures anytime, and they took a lot of photos for us!

The Angel's Sea was truly beautiful! The water temperature was a bit chilly, but I gradually got used to it. Occasionally, there are stones mixed in with the sand, so I recommend bringing surf shoes if you're concerned about that.

In addition to exploring the sandbar, we could also enjoy activities like snorkeling, floating, and SUP, making for a very enjoyable half-day! During snorkeling, we were able to see three sea turtles, which I also recommend.

There were plenty of staff members, so I felt safe throughout the program. Additionally, we could interact with other participants during the program, which I think is one of its attractions.

事前に日本から満潮と干潮の時間を調べて予約しました。
写真付きプランにて申し込みしたのですが、スタッフの方が専任で付いてくれるので、いつでもシャッターを向けていただき、沢山の写真を撮ってもらいました！

天使の海は本当にきれいでした！水温は少しひんやりしましたが、段々慣れてきます。
時折、サンドに石がまぎれてることがあるので、気になる方は、サーフシューズを持っていくことをオススメします。

サンドバー散策の他に、シュノーケリングや浮き輪・SUPなどのアクティビティも行うことができ、とても楽しい半日を過ごすことができました！
シュノーケリングではホヌも3匹見ることができるので、こちもオススメです。

スタッフの方がたくさんいるので、プログラム中も安心できます。
また他の参加者の方ともプログラムを通して交流できるので、そこも魅力の１つだとおもいます。

The weather was nice, and I was able to see two whales. The sea breeze felt good, and it was wonderful to see Waikiki Beach and Diamond Head from the ocean, making Oahu look beautiful.

良い天気で、2匹の鯨を見ることができました。
海風も気持ちよく、ワイキキビーチやダイヤモンドヘッドも見えて海から見るオアフ島も素敵でした。

I think it depends on the weather and luck, but the afternoon of February 13, 2020, was amazing. The contrast of the blue sky, the white sandbar, and the blue ocean was stunning, and even as a beginner in snorkeling, I was able to see a sea turtle! A turtle came so close that I felt like saying, "Don't come this way!" and I swam right above it. I had seen many turtles basking on the beach in Hawaii Island, but this was my first time seeing one swimming in the ocean. I was thrilled. Additionally, besides the popular restaurant Masala, we had plenty of buffet-style lunch. Not only the Japanese guide but also the foreign staff, including the captain, all made an effort to communicate in Japanese, which made me very satisfied. (It felt more respectful to Japanese customers compared to other tours where foreign staff would say, "I can't speak Japanese" and just speak in English.) I noticed thoughtful details, like the sandals I took off when boarding the boat being neatly arranged when getting off, and towels laid out on the bus seats for the return trip. I thought I would definitely like to participate again when I come back to Oahu.

天気と運次第だと思いますが、2020年２月13日午後は最高でした。空の青とサンドバーの白と青い海のコントラストが最高だったうえに、シュノーケリング初心者の私でもウミガメに会えました！「ぶつかる～。こっちに来ないで。」と言うぐらい近くにカメが近寄ってきたり、カメの真上を一緒に泳いだり。ハワイ島で甲羅干しのカメにはたくさん会いましたが、海の中で泳いでいるカメを見るのは初めて。感激しました。さらに、オアフ島で一番人気店のマサラダの他にビュッフェ形式のランチもたっぷり。日本人ガイドだけでなく、船長をはじめとする外人スタッフも皆、一生懸命、日本語でコミュニケーションを取ってくれ、大大満足でした。（他のツアーで外人スタッフが「日本語しゃべれません」と言って英語でまくしたてるより、サービス業として日本人客に敬意を表してくれている感じがしました。）乗船する時に脱いだサンダルが船から降りる時にはキレイに並べてあったり、帰りのバスのシートにバスタオルが敷いてあったりと、細やかな配慮を感じました。オアフ島に次に来る時も、また是非参加したいと思いました。

The lunch was delicious, and of course, the sandbar was amazing. Even when the wind and tide were strong, making it difficult to move while snorkeling, the support from the many staff members made it easy to enjoy ourselves.

ランチも美味しかったし、言うまでもなく、サンドバーは最高でした。風、潮が強くてシュノーケリングで思うように動けないタイミングでも、多人数のスタッフさんによるサポートがあって、安心して遊べました。

There was a pre-boarding explanation by the Japanese staff, and although it was an English tour, there were no inconveniences at all. We even encountered whales, and the beer on the comfortable boat was fantastic!

日本語スタッフによる乗船前説明もあり、英語ツアーですが、何の不便もありません。クジラにも遭遇でき、心地よい船上でのビールも最高でした！

I think there are many water slides, and it's a place where both thrill-seekers and those who aren't as good with extreme rides can have fun. While there are regular slides, many of them are designed for riding on inflatable tubes, which made for a pleasant experience. The large slides can accommodate four people, so I believe it would be exciting when going with a group.

ウォータースライダーが沢山あって、絶叫系が好きな人もあまり得意でない人も楽しめるところだと思います。スライダーは普通に滑るものもあるけど、浮き輪に乗って滑るものが多いので、気持ちよく楽しめました。大型のスライダーは４人のりのものがあり、グループで行ったときは盛り上がると思います。

I was able to see the whale's spout, but unfortunately, I couldn't see the whale itself, which was disappointing. The crew said that we were lucky to have encountered a whale, but honestly, I think it would be impossible to see one without a lot of luck. However, the staff were kind, which was nice.

クジラの潮吹きは見えたのですが姿を見る事はできなく残念な結果に…。
クルーの方達はあなた達はクジラに会えてラッキーと言ってましたが正直かなりの運の良さが無ければ姿を見るのは無理だと思います。
ただスタッフの方々は親切で良かったです。

The weather was unstable at the time of departure, but it cleared up, and the rainbow was beautiful. I was worried about snorkeling, but I definitely think you should participate if you want to see sea turtles. They provide life jackets, so even if you're not a strong swimmer, it was fun.

Exploring Kailua was nice, but there were few places to change, and the water shower was cold, so I could only take a quick rinse. I was able to shop at a leisurely pace.

泳ぎが苦手でも楽しかったです。

カイルア散策も良かったですが
着替える場所が少なく、水シャワーは
寒くてサッと浴びるくらいでした。
買い物はゆっくりできました。
