I participated at the end of November.
I had been looking at the photos on this site, so it was very different from what I imagined.
First of all, each tour company has its own designated area, and the area for this tour company was just a shallow beach that looked nothing like the photos.

Perhaps due to the rain, the sea was murky, and the water depth was about 1 meter.
The water depth reached up to my stomach, as I am 168 centimeters tall.
It was cold due to the bad weather, and I was enduring while getting into the sea.

I would have appreciated a comment stating that in bad weather, the scenery would be different from the sandbar shown in the photos.

11月末に参加しました。
こちらのサイトの写真を見てたので、想像と違い過ぎました。
まず、ツアー会社ごとに仕切っているエリアがあり、こちらのツアー会社で仕切っているエリアは全く写真とは違うただの浅めのビーチでした。

雨のせいか海は濁っていて、水深も深く1メートルほどありました。
水深は、身長168センチのわたしの胃のあたりまであります。
悪天候で寒くて、我慢しながら海に入ってました。

悪天候の場合、こちらのツアーでは写真のサンドバーへとは異なる風景になりますと、一言コメント欲しかったです。

About two weeks before departing for Hawaii, I wanted to participate in a sandbar tour, but everywhere I searched was fully booked. I finally found this tour, which had a reasonable price and availability, so I didn't have high expectations. However, once I participated, the boat was impressive, and the staff's service was very satisfying. We got to see many sea turtles and had the long-awaited sandbar experience, leaving my whole family very happy.

　ハワイ出発がの2週間ほど前から、サンドバーツアーに参加したいと思いつつ予約を取ろうとしたところ検索ですぐに出てくるところはどこも予約がいっぱいでした。
　やっと見つけたこちらのツアーは価格も安めだし空きがあるしで、実はあまり期待はしていませんでした。
　実際参加してみると船は立派だし、スタッフの対応も大変満足できるものでした。内容的にもたくさんのウミガメに会え待望のサンドバー体験のでき家族全員大満足でした。

It was a cloudy and windy day from the morning, and it was cold. Everyone was shivering on the boat (laughs). Still, thanks to the very fun guide and crew, everyone seemed to be smiling and having a great time! We could see some sea turtles here and there. The coldness remained at the sandbar as well... Everyone cautiously changed into their swimsuits and entered the water, but it was still cold (laughs). Just as a light rain started to fall, the chill increased, but since we came all this way, we decided to challenge ourselves with snorkeling! The water was a bit murky, but we were still able to see coral and various beautiful fish, which made us satisfied! We were really hungry, so the sandwiches and snacks that tasted like Doritos after returning to the boat were very delicious. I definitely wanted to participate on a nice weather day, but this became a good memory in its own way. I was worried that the morning-only tour might feel insufficient, but I was completely satisfied even with the short time! After that, we returned to Waikiki and were able to do some shopping, so I felt like we used our time effectively. As mentioned in everyone's reviews, the return bus can be chilly since you are wet, so a jacket is essential, and a bath towel is a must! Since there were just two of us, we brought two towels, but we each used one and got wet, so I thought it would have been nice to have one more for covering up on the return bus.

朝から曇っていて風も強く、寒い1日でした。みんな船内でブルブル震えていました(笑)
それでもとっても楽しいガイドさんやクルーの皆さんのおかげで皆笑顔で楽しそうでした！
ウミガメもチラホラ見えました。サンドバーについても寒いのは変わらず･･･。
みんな恐る恐る水着になり、海へ入っていきましたがやっぱり寒い(笑)
ちょうど小雨も降ってきたので寒さ倍増でしたが、せっかく来たのでシュノーケルに挑戦！
海の中はにごった感じでしたが、それでも珊瑚やいろんな綺麗なお魚を見る事ができ満足でした！
お腹ぺこぺこだったので船に戻ったあとのサンドイッチとドリトスみたいなお菓子がとっても美味しく感じました。
天気の良いときにもちろん参加したかったのですが、これはこれで良い思い出になりました。
午前のみのツアーで、物足りないのかなー？と心配でしたが、全然短い時間でも満足でした！
そのあとまたワイキキに戻り、お買い物できたので時間が有効に使えるなーと思いました。
皆さんのレビューにもあるように、帰りのバスは自分が濡れていることもあり冷えますので
上着はもちろん、バスタオルは必須です！私達は2人でしたので2枚持って行きましたが、
それぞれ1枚ずつ使って濡れてしまったので、帰りのバスでのひざかけ用にもう1枚あれば良かったなーと思いました。

The sandbar I wanted to visit was truly beautiful. I was a bit disappointed that I didn't see many sea turtles, but the snorkeling instructions were easy to understand and great. Above all, the hamburger we had on the boat, made with grilled meat, was delicious.

行ってみたかったサンドバー、本当に綺麗でした。
ウミガメがあまり見れなかった事は少し残念でしたが、シュノーケルの説明も分かりやすくて良かったです。何と言っても船上でお肉を焼いてくれて食べたハンバーガーが美味しかったです。

On March 29, I participated in a cruise with snacks included. It was my return day, but since I could get back to Waikiki in the morning, it was great to make effective use of my time instead of wandering around aimlessly. I was able to see many turtles, and the sandbar was beautiful because the weather was nice. My nearly 80-year-old mother joined me, and the ship's guide was kind and considerate. However, at the point of disembarking from the ship, the water came up to around her waist, so she decided not to get off. (It’s only knee-deep a little further in, but even without snorkeling, a swimsuit is necessary.)

3月29日、軽食付きのクルーズに参加しました。帰国日でしたが、午前中にワイキキに戻れるので、下手にウロウロするより時間を有効に使えてよかったです。カメさんもたくさん見ることができたし、天気がよかったのでサンドバーも美しかったです。
８０歳近い母も一緒でしたが船のガイドさんは親切で、気をつかってくれました。ただ、船から下りるところだけ、腰の辺りまで水につかってしまうので、母は下りるのを断念しました。（少し歩けばひざ下の深さですが、シュノーケリングをしなくても下は水着が必要です）

It seems that there have been more TV program shoots recently, and it's a place that often gets featured. Since it's a bit away from the beach, you can take interesting photos. The tour bus can be cold inside, so you'll need something to wear over your clothes. For those renting a car, it's recommended to stop by Kailua or Hawaii Kai on the way back.

最近TV番組のロケが増えたようで、よく取り上げられる場所。
浜から少し離れた場所なので、写真を撮っても面白く撮れます。
ツアーバスは車内が寒いので、羽織るものが必要です。
レンタカーの方は帰りにカイルアやハワイカイなどに寄れるので、こちらの方がオススメかな。

The whale watching cruise was great. I was worried about seasickness, but the Navatek was a large ship, and it didn't sway at all, so I was fine. The breakfast served was also delicious. From the ship, the view of Waikiki Beach, the hotels, and Diamond Head, which I climbed yesterday, was stunning against the blue sky. That scenery can only be seen from the ship. As for the whales, they were there. They jumped out of the water twice. Unfortunately, I couldn't take any photos. I also saw a lot of bubbles during their breathing. The captain pointed out the bubbles while chasing them, and I was able to see the tail fin. To be honest, I didn't think I would see them, but I saw them perfectly. It was amazing.

ホエールウォッチングクルーズ,船酔いが心配でしたが、ナバテック号は大きな船で、全然揺れず、大丈夫でした。付いた朝食もおいしく頂きました。船からは、ワイキキビーチ、ホテル群、昨日登ったダイヤモンドヘッドが青空に映え、素晴らしい景色でした。あの風景は、船からしか見られませんね。鯨ですが、いました。２度も海面上に飛び上がってくれました。残念ながら写真は撮れませんでした。後は、呼吸時の泡が沢山見えました。船長さんが、泡を指差しながら、追いかけてくれ、尾びれを見る事が出来ました。正直言って見れるとわ思いませんでしたが、バッチリ見ました。最高でした。

Everything was wonderful. The food, and service... I will come back again

We had children aged 4 and 5 with us, but there was a proper seating area on the boat, and life jackets were provided, which made us feel safe. We were able to see turtles, and they also lent us floating poles for snorkeling, making it enjoyable even with small children. We would love to participate again.

安心です。
亀も見られたし、シュノーケルの際は浮くポールも貸して下さり、小さい子連れでも
楽しめます。また参加したいです。

Picked up on time, nice driver,gave us good tips on snorkeling. Would recommend to friends.

I was able to enjoy various water slides. The crowd was mostly families, and it started to get quite crowded around noon. At first, I could slide down the water slides right away, but as it got busier, I ended up waiting almost an hour, and time flew by quickly.

I wished I had a bit more time to stay, and I was a bit disappointed that the air conditioning on the shuttle bus was too strong, making it quite cold.

色々なウォータースライダーを楽しめました。客層は家族連れが多く、昼頃になるとかなり混み始めました。初めのうちはすぐウォータースライダーを滑ることができたのですが、混み始めると１時間近く待つほどになってしまい、時間が過ぎるのがあっという間でした。

もう少し滞在時間が欲しいなと思ったのと、送迎のバスの冷房が効きすぎてかなり寒かったのでそこだけ残念でした。

I spent a lovely morning at Hanauma Bay with this tour. The driver was super friendly and the pick up from the hotel was easy. Recommend this to anyone.

I participated on my honeymoon. The service from the staff was excellent, and I was very satisfied.
Particularly good points:
- I saw sea turtles and manta rays.
- The service from the staff was great.
- The sandwiches after snorkeling were delicious.

It's something you wouldn't expect from attractions in Japan, but it was enjoyable without being too dangerous. It was great! I wish they would operate for a bit longer. I enjoyed Tornado multiple times.

日本のアトラクションの規格では考えられないけど、危険過ぎることはなく楽しめた。良かった!もう少し長い時間営業して欲しいかな。Tornadoは何度も楽しめました。

Captain Randy and crew were awesome. We went out on March 21 and had a blast. His team was very professional, and Doug was very thorough with us newby snuba divers.

Since this was my first time in Hawaii and I was staying at Aulani, I signed up for this tour because it was affordable and included transportation. We participated as a group of four adults and three children (ages 7, 3, and 1). It seemed that we were the only Japanese family among about ten other guests.

Our guide was a second-generation Japanese American, and after explaining in English, he also provided explanations in Japanese, which was very helpful. Shortly after we set sail, we were lucky enough to spot two turtles on the surface of the water! The guide mentioned they might be dead, but they were alive, and both the kids and adults got really excited. A little later, the guide shouted, and when we went out to the deck, we saw a whale spouting water and lifting its tail. We even got to witness a spectacular jump from one of the whales!! We also saw whales seemingly communicating with each other by blowing saltwater. I had heard that there are days when you might not see any whales, so I went with half-hearted expectations and half hope, but I never imagined we would see a jump, so it was truly amazing. If I have the chance to go to Hawaii again, I would love to participate again.

初めてのハワイでアウラニに宿泊するので、送迎付きで安かったのでこのツアーを申し込みました。大人４人、子供３人（７歳、３歳、１歳）で参加しました。ガイドが英語となっているだけあってか、日本人はうちのファミリーのみでほか１０名ほどほかのお客さんと一緒でした。
ガイドさんが、日系２世の方で、英語での説明の後に日本語でも説明してくれてとても助かりました。出航後すぐ、偶然にもカメ２匹が海面に！死んでいるかもしれないとのガイドさんの言葉でしたが、生きていて子供たちも大人もテンションが上がりました。少しするとガイドさんが叫び、デッキへ出てみるとクジラが潮を吹いたり、尾ひれをあげたりとしていました。１頭の、豪快なジャンプも見ることができました！！その後も塩を吹いてクジラ同士が会話をしているような姿も見ることができました。クジラを見れない日もあるとのことで、半分あきらめと半分期待で行きましたが、まさかジャンプまで見れるとは思ってもいなかったのでとってもよかったです。またハワイに行くことがあったらまた参加したいです。

I was able to see many sea turtles up close, and the sandbar was very beautiful, so I was extremely satisfied. The weather was great, making it the perfect day! Since I had my 11-month-old son with me, I didn't participate in snorkeling, but we enjoyed taking photos in the shallow water. The sandwiches after getting in the water were also delicious.

ウミガメも近くでたくさん見れたし、サンドバーもとっても綺麗で大満足でした。
天気も良くこの日は最高！
11か月の息子がいたのでシュノーケリングには参加せず、浅瀬のところで写真を撮ったりして楽しみました。
海に入った後のサンドイッチも美味しかったです。

I participated in early January. It was a cold time with rough waves, so I was worried about seasickness and the cold, but I’m really glad I referred to the reviews. I wore a long-sleeve hoodie and took motion sickness medication the day before.

Most of the women who participated looked very uncomfortable due to seasickness. It seems essential to take motion sickness medication. I was able to see dolphins and sea turtles! I was also lucky enough to witness a whale jump, which is unique to this season, and the cruise in nature was very healing. The hamburger was delicious too! There was also a hula show by the crew, making it a very satisfying activity!

１月上旬に参加しました。寒く波も荒い時期でしたので、船酔いと寒さが心配でしたが、口コミを参考にして本当によかったです。長袖パーカーと酔い止めを前日から服用して参加しました。
参加した女性のほとんどが、船酔いでとても辛そうでした。酔い止めは必ず服用した方が良さそうです。イルカ、海亀をみることが出来ました！この時期ならではクジラのジャンプも運よく見れて、大自然の中のクルーズ癒されました。ハンバーガーも美味しかったです！クルーの方のフラショーもあり、大満足なアクティビティーでした！

I didn't see any tails splashing, but I did see whales multiple times and also witnessed spouting. I opted for the breakfast option, and it had more variety than I expected and was delicious, so I'm glad I chose it. The boat was large, so I didn't get seasick, and the restroom was clean. The view of Waikiki and Diamond Head from the sea was also wonderful! Even if you don't see whales, you can still enjoy the cruise. I would love to participate again.

しっぽバッシャーンのような姿は見られませんでしたが、何度もクジラの姿が見られたし、潮吹きも見られました。朝食付きにしましたが、思っていたよりも種類もあったしおいしかったので付けてよかったです。大きな船だったので船酔いもなく、トイレもきれい、海から見るワイキキ、ダイヤモンドヘッドの姿も素晴らしかったです！もしクジラが見られなくてもクルーズを楽しめます。また参加したいです。

The staff were all fun and friendly. At the sandbar, they were always attentive to us since we couldn't participate in beach volleyball, and they took many photos for us. The lunch hamburger was also substantial and very delicious! I was thrilled to see many honu and fish☆

スタッフの皆さんは楽しくて親切な方ばかりでした。
サンドバーでは、ビーチバレーに参加出来ない私達をずっと気にかけて頂いて、写真を何枚も撮って下さいました。
ランチのハンバーガーもボリュームがあって、とても美味しかったです！
ホヌもお魚も沢山見られて感激しました☆

The main event of this trip to Hawaii (laugh) was the whale cruise. The crew members were using binoculars on deck to search for whales, but we didn't see a single one... However, on the way there, we saw a small shark, and on the way back, three dolphins swam alongside the boat, so that was nice. I guess we were a bit late in the season... I'll try again next year.

今回のハワイ旅行のメインイベント（笑）である、クジラクルーズ。
乗組員のスタッフさん達が甲板で双眼鏡を使って探してくれていましたが、一頭も見られませんでした。。。
でも、往路では小さなサメ　復路の埠頭内ではイルカが三頭船に並走してくれたので　それだけでもよかったです。
時期が遅すぎたのでしょうか、、、、　
来年にリベンジします

Nice cruise. Food was good. Free to move up and down the boat. View was amazing. Caught the best sunset.

I signed up for an all-inclusive plan. The basic explanation was quite vague. As soon as we got on the bus, there was an intense cold and the explanation audio started playing. It's essential to prepare for the cold.

The schedule mentioned two bodyboarding lessons, but in reality, there was only one. I wasn't expecting much from this bodyboarding lesson, but it turned out to be incredibly fun. It seemed to be a lesson exclusive to plan participants, and the number of people was just right, allowing us to fully enjoy it. My child even said, "I'm glad we came!"

Although I didn't drink much from the unlimited drinks, it was good to have since outside food and drinks were prohibited (only one unopened bottle of water was allowed), and carrying cash was inconvenient. It was also a good decision to sign up for the all-you-can-eat BBQ lunch. It was delicious, and since the eating area was predetermined, there were no hassles with waiting in line to purchase or securing a spot to eat.

The shower and toilet were in the same area, which wasn't very hygienic. There wasn't even a curtain in the shower. The changing room only had simple curtains, and there were only two or three of them. Since the return time is set, I recommend changing clothes early.

You might think, "A pool in Hawaii?!" but I highly recommend it. I also recommend signing up for the all-inclusive plan.

基本説明はアバウトです。バスに乗り込んだとたん凄まじい寒さと説明の音声が流れていました。寒さ対策必須です。
予定ではボディーボードレッスンは2回と書いてありましたが、実際は1回のみでした。
このボディーボードレッスン、期待していませんでしたが最高に楽しかったです。
このプラン申込者限定レッスンだったようで、人数も丁度よく、満喫できました。
子供も「来てよかった！」と言っていました。
ドリンク飲み放題はほとんど飲むことはありませんでしたが、飲食物持ち込み禁止で（無開封水1本のみ可）現金を持ち歩くことが不便なので付いていてよかったです。
ランチのBBQ食べ放題も申し込んでおいて正解でした。
美味しかったし、食べる場所が決まっていたので、購入の列に並ぶ時間・食べる場所の場所取り等煩わしいことが一切なかったのがよかったです。
シャワーとトイレが同じ場所にあり衛星的にもいいとは言えません。
シャワーにはカーテンすらありませんでした。
更衣室も簡単なカーテンが付いているのみ。数も２，３しかありませんでした。
帰りの時間が決まっているので、早めに着替えることをおすすめします。
ハワイでプール?!と思うでしょうが、おすすめです。
更に全て込みのプランを申し込むことをおすすめします。

This time in Honolulu, we chose whale watching as a memory for my grandchildren during spring break. The moment we spotted a whale spouting while gazing out at the vast ocean, everyone got excited and shouted loudly. I will never forget this emotion; I enjoyed it as well.

今回のホノルルは、春休みに孫たちの思い出としてホエールウォッチングを選びました、
大海原に目を肥やしながら潮を吹くクジラを見つけた瞬間みんな興奮し大きな声で叫びました
この感動は忘れないでしょう、私も楽しみました。

For the amount of money we paid my fiance and I were disappointed. The boat we took out was dirty and in my opinion not well maintained. We spent less than one hour actually "Snorkeling" and that is what I was hoping for the most. The crew was nice and helpful, but I think I would not recommend this to anyone for the amount of money they charge.

We had a great time touring everything involved with this trip! It was a full 8 hours and our tour guide did a fabulous job of filling us in on lots of history and information about the island. REALLY ENJOYED!

We had a wonderful experience at the Star of Honolulu Sunset Dinner Cruise.
This was our second time, but we will absolutely go again.

We had a great time, enjoyed the food and first class service as well as entertainment and fireworks. The only negative was that if you eat different meals, you can't sit together in the same room. The staff did make accommodation and get us together but we never got the steak and lobster that was paid for with the more expensive meal.

Had a blast! Several whale sightings. The lunch was fantastic. Hula lessons, lei making and yukelele lessons. Service was impecable. My kids and husband had a fantastic time.

It was perfect weather, and the cruising on the stable Navatek was comfortable. I was able to see the whales raising their fins from a distance during the whale watching, but... It was a fun tour enjoyed separately from my family, but the excitement of the watching experience was lacking.

絶好のお天気、揺れないナバテック号に快適なクルージングでした。
ホエールウォッチングは遠目にひれを挙げているところが見れましたが・・・
家族とは別行動で楽しみのツアーでしたが、ウオッチングの感動はありませんでしたね。
