I participated on the last night in Hawaii.
The hotel transfer was very smooth, which was great.
The sunset was very beautiful.
There were announcements in both English and Japanese on the ship, which is appreciated by Japanese guests.

I was told it was because it wasn't the season yet, but I felt unhappy to hear that after paying the same high price as during the peak season. I visited on a weekday in April, and it was quite empty, so I was able to ride the slides without much waiting. However, I'm not sure if it was because it was too empty, but the available slides changed depending on the time, and not all of them were operating at all times.

A Japanese woman from the tour was waiting at the pool entrance and kindly explained about the lockers and other things. She also offered help if anyone was having trouble. The large locker cost around $15 or $16, and you could open and close it as many times as you wanted.

The kids seemed to have a lot of fun, and I would like to go again.

I was wondering how the pool in Hawaii would be, but it was amazing! In Japan, the waiting time is usually longer, but here I was able to slide multiple times with hardly any wait. I opted for the premium deluxe, but since I didn't want to waste time having lunch and didn't drink enough to justify the free drinks, it might not be necessary. It was great to have priority access.

We had no trouble even with our limited English skills. We rented an umbrella as an option, but it was difficult to set up due to the strong wind. When we rented on-site, the staff helped us set it up properly. The water at Hanauma Bay was definitely clearer and more beautiful than in Waikiki. Our child was very happy to see many different types of fish.

I participated in the buffet style. I was satisfied with the meal. The live show was impressive and worth watching. At the end, everyone danced imitating the staff, but it was a bit disorganized since the staff didn't remember the moves well, which was a bit disappointing. The sunset was amazing.

Highlight was the Polynesian show. Food was ok, deserts were good. Complimentary drinks were average. Purchased drinks were pricey. Overall, did not get to see much of a sunset by being busy with the food and the show. It felt more like sitting in a restaurant since the boat was moving slow and sturdy unless you come out to grab the food.

I didn't expect to line up for tickets on the day instead of making a reservation online. However, since I was able to go as planned, I am mostly satisfied.

Considering the timing, it was just right to have an 11 AM pickup with my 6 and 9-year-old children. The person in charge provided various explanations and guidance throughout the car ride. Other Japanese guests were using translation apps, but since I didn't use one, I only understood parts of the conversation. I wish I had downloaded the app. My children had a very enjoyable time and it seems to have left a lasting impression on them. They said they want to go see the fish again.

Too long of a time before the food. The moving from station To station to see the different classes. Should be performed on the stage during wait time. When it was time to eat it was crazy. I was told they would call tables at a time. Didn't happen. It was a stampede..Food was taken away quickly. Just seemed uncoordinated the customer service seemed unapproachable.

Best part was the exit out of the venue.. but wait that was my doing.

I participated in the 5 Star experience due to a campaign. After arriving at the venue, there were many people in line, but only the 5 Star passengers were allowed to board first. The smoothness of the process meant I didn’t get to see the welcoming hula dancer…

You can enjoy dinner in a special space on the top floor. At 5 Star, couples danced gracefully in front of us to soft jazz music, creating an overall adult atmosphere. When I looked down from above, I could hear lively sounds coming from the lower floors, so I think it’s best to choose according to your preference!

I struggled a bit with the language barrier, as I couldn’t communicate well in Japanese. Also, it swayed more than I expected, so I think it's essential for those who are prone to motion sickness to take anti-nausea medication! The food was delicious, and I was satisfied with the special night I had.

The disembarkation was scheduled for 7:45 PM, and I ordered a bottle of wine around 6:45 PM. However, no matter how many times I followed up with the butler, I was told the bar was crowded, and the wine did not arrive until 7:20 PM, just as dessert was being served. Since it was a screw-top wine, there was no need for uncorking; they just needed to bring it. The drinks that came with the meal also took about 15 minutes to be served after ordering. I recommend ordering drinks well in advance. For those who want to enjoy their meal with drinks, it was a stressful experience.

We had the best time with the Star of Honolulu. The captain was very welcoming, and the staff was first rate. Our restaurant wait person Tina, was very prompt in meeting our needs. During our 6-night, 8-day honeymoon in Hawaii, we used this service on our last night. I was really looking forward to experiencing the cruising in Hawaii (my wife said it was the part she was most excited about for our honeymoon). I will honestly share both the good and bad points I felt during the cruise.

Good points:
1. The food, including lobster and tenderloin, was truly delicious.
2. Each person received 2 drink tickets, which was great, especially with the yen's depreciation, allowing us to order drinks without hesitation.
3. The scenery was amazing. We could see Waikiki and Diamond Head, which we enjoyed, all from the sea.
4. The friendly crew members chatted with us while we were enjoying the view from the deck and even took photos for us.
5. The jazz performance, which is not something we usually get to hear, made the venue even more stylish and was perfect for the last night of our honeymoon.

Points that differed from expectations:
1. We had reserved a shuttle service, but on the day of the cruise, there was significant traffic due to another event, the Spam Jam Festival, causing us to arrive late and miss the welcome show, which was a hula dance.
2. Similarly, because of the late arrival, the optional commemorative photo was taken as soon as we sat down, and it was disappointing that the background was still the port.
3. Due to the late arrival, the course meal was served quickly, and we couldn't take our time enjoying the scenery on the boat.
→ To avoid issues 1-3, it seems that going to the port individually during events that might cause traffic could be a solution.
4. The cruise was scheduled to depart at 5:30 PM and return at 7:30 PM, but it actually departed at 5:45 PM and returned around 7:20 PM, which was disappointing. The jazz performance continued until the end after we returned!

That's all. I’ve shared quite a bit, but personally, I would like to use this service again if I have the opportunity to visit Hawaii.

ハワイでのクルージングでどんな体験ができるのか、とても楽しみにしていました。(妻は新婚旅行で1番楽しみと言ってくれていました)
そんな期待大で望んだクルージングで感じた良いことも悪いことも率直に記載します。

良かった点
1.ロブスターにテンダーロインなど料理が本当に美味しかったです。
2.ドリンクチケットが2枚/人あり、とくに円安の中だったので気兼ねなくドリンクを頼むことができました。
3.景色が最高です。自分たちが楽しんだワイキキやダイヤモンドヘッドなどが海から一望できます。
4.フレンドリーな船員さんがデッキで海を眺めていると話しかけてくれて、写真も撮ってくれました。
5.普段はなかなか聞く機会がないジャズ演奏があると会場がさらにお洒落で新婚旅行の最後の夜にぴったりでした。

予想と違った点
1.オプションで送迎を予約していましたが、当日はスパムジャムフェスという他のイベントで道がかなり渋滞しており、港着が遅れ、ウェルカムショーであるフラダンスを見ることができませんでした。
2.上記1.同様に送迎の港着が遅れたためなのか、オプションの記念写真が席に着いてすぐでした。背景が港のままなのが残念です。
3.上記1,2.同様に送迎の港着が遅れたため、コース料理がどんどん出てきて、船上で景色をゆっくり見ることができませんでした。
→イベント等で渋滞が起きそうな時は個人で港まで行くことで1〜3の問題が回避できそうです。
4.クルージングは17:30発〜19:30帰港の予定でしたが、実際には17:45〜19:20頃帰港と短くなっており残念でした。ジャズ演奏は帰港後も最後まで続いていました！

以上になります。
いろいろと記載しましたが、個人的にはまたハワイに行く機会があれば利用させていただきたいと思っています。

We participated to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. The rich-tasting lobster and tender steak were gentle on the stomach and quite good. Since it was Friday, there were fireworks after sunset, hula dancing, and the staff performed the classic YMCA, which was a lot of fun. The weather was unfortunately a bit cold, but the sandbar was beautiful, and we were greeted by sea turtles. We saw many more sea turtles afterward, and it was fun to encounter a lot of fish while snorkeling. They also ensured our safety thoroughly. The lunch was delicious as well. I am grateful to Yuki and the captain.
