My family wanted to do the Horseback riding while vacationing in Hawaii.
This location was AMAZING! We drove out to the other side of the island, which was pretty awesome to be away from the touristy rside.
Our tour guide was a young gal who treated my family GREAT! She was very professional, kind and knowable about horses. I believe her name was Freda
The path (trail) we took was absolute Breathe taking. The ocean is sooooooo beautiful. Better than the tourist side! Even the grassy trails were . The horses are beautiful, well trained and they looked professionally cared for.
I rate Frida , the horses, the trail with 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Now… as for the other gal (straight blonde hair) who also was NOT our tour guide. I believe her name was Phoebe Giving her ⭐️
She was not interested in interacting with my family.
Wow.. as soon as youngsters arrived for their tour… Phoebe, was SOCIAL and guided them with EVERYTHING and she was giddy too. Total change.

We were all grouped together but would be toured separately. When she spoke out she said, you’ll go out separately and you’ll be taken out by me or Freda. Bam, I already knew she wasn’t going to be our tour guide because we weren’t young as the other group. She wanted to tour the ones closest to her age group. That’s perfectly fine but you’re not supposed to make it so obvious.

Anyhow, we were so PLEASED to have Freda guide us. She made this experience GREAT that we would do this again with her!

We were picked up at the hotel and headed to the boarding!
First, we had a welcome drink (sparkling wine) and appetizers.
The appetizers included a salad on the table, and you could help yourself to fruits and cheese. The salad dressing was delicious!
After that, we enjoyed a whole lobster! It was followed by steak and dessert.
The food wasn't exceptionally delicious, but it was satisfactory for enjoying the atmosphere.
In addition to the welcome drink, you get two more drinks of your choice, and the tropical cocktail was delicious and very Hawaiian.
The table next to us had a girls' gathering (about 8 people), which was a bit noisy~ (sweat)

It was disappointing that the weather was bad and we couldn't see the sunset, but that's just luck. There's nothing we can do about it...

Since we had the kids with us, we chose the buffet. If it were just adults or a couple, a course dinner might be better. I wasn't particularly fond of the food, but after all, it's a buffet. I didn't have high expectations for the food to begin with, so I wasn't disappointed. I recommend lowering your expectations for the food when you take this tour, haha.

The show on the boat was fun! I enjoyed watching the Hawaiian and Polynesian dances since I like them. I wouldn't recommend this tour to those who aren't interested. The food isn't great, and if the weather is bad, you won't see the sunset, haha.

The deck where you can go outside is a smoking area, which was very disappointing. I don't smoke, and since we had the kids with us, it was uncomfortable. I wish they wouldn't set up a smoking area on a deck with a view.

If asked whether I would participate again, I would say no. But it wasn't bad. Overall, it was okay.

お外に出られるデッキはSmoking Areaになっているので、とても残念でした。タバコを吸わないうえ、子供たちも一緒だったので不快でした。せっかく景色が見えるデッキにSmoking Areaを設けないで欲しいです。

もう一度参加するかと言われるとしないです。でも、悪くはなかったです。Overall まぁまぁでした。

This was my second time on the Sunset Dinner Cruise, and I enjoyed it just as much as the first. From the moment I got on the bus, the staff were kind, and I felt safe enjoying myself from start to finish. Luck was on my side from the beginning of the trip, and on this day, I was able to see a beautiful rainbow. The food was served buffet-style, so I could eat just the right amount for my appetite, which is great for someone like me who has a small appetite, as well as for my family who likes to eat more. Going up to the deck to watch the sun set over the ocean was wonderful. We were blessed with great weather, which was the best part.

I went on the 5-Star cruise. I made a reservation with the Celebration Plan (guaranteed window seat) and paid for it, but I was booked under the regular plan. While the manager was confirming my reservation, I couldn't eat the food in front of me for about 30 minutes after being seated. In the end, it turned out that the reservation from VELTRA to Star of Honolulu was under the regular plan, and I was treated as such until the end. I never expected something like this to happen. I'm very disappointed.

Also, it seems that the shuttle bus got caught in traffic, so by the time we arrived, dinner had already started, and other guests who arrived earlier were enjoying their meals.

I thought there might be a separate entrance for the 5-Star guests, but there wasn't anything like that. We all lined up at one entrance to board the ship.

The schedule mentioned that there would be a welcome reception by the captain on the exclusive deck on the top floor for 5-Star guests, but there was nothing of the sort. We were just guided to line up and proceed into the ship.

The food wasn't particularly delicious; it was average. It was mentioned that the meat could be cut with a fork, but it was more like something you could manage to cut with a knife.

I have been to Hawaii several times, and regarding the Hilton fireworks, I've seen them from various places, but sitting on the beach south of the Rainbow Tower is the best spot. Watching the fireworks from the cruise ship was an experience, but since it was from a distance, it lacked impact.

Additionally, guests from the lower deck were casually coming up the stairs to the 5-Star deck. There was a rope at the top of the stairs, but they seemed to know how to unhook it to get in and then rehook it. These were regular guests, not staff.

I was considering this might be my elderly mother's first and last overseas trip, so I regret spending a lot of money and time on this optional tour. I hope this review can be helpful to someone.

セレブレーションプラン（窓際席確約）で予約し、その分の金額も支払いましたが、通常のプランで予約されており、あちらのマネージャーに予約したプランの確認をしてもらっている間、席についてからも30分ほど、目の前の料理を食べることができませんでした。
結局、VELTRAからスターオブホノルルへの予約が通常プランだったそうで、最後まで通常プランとしての扱いとなりました。
こんなことが起きるなんて、思いもしませんでした。非常に残念で仕方ありません。

また、恐らく送迎バスが渋滞に巻き込まれたせいで、私たちが到着した頃にはすでにディナーは始まっており、先に着いていた他のお客さんは食事を楽しんでました。

乗船する際に5スター用の入口でもあるのかなと思ってましたが、特にそのようなものはなく、大勢で列に並んで一か所の入り口から乗船しました。

5スターだと「最上階の専用デッキでキャプテンによるウェルカムレセプションがある」というスケジュールが記載されていますが、そんなものは一切ありません。列になって船内に進むように案内されました。

料理も、特別おいしいものではなかったですね。普通です。お肉がフォークで切れるという記載がありますが、ナイフでがんばって切れるぐらいの感じでした。

私自身は何度かハワイに行ったことがあり、ヒルトンの花火については、いろいろな場所から見てますが、レインボータワーの南側のビーチに座って見るのが一番ですね。
クルーズ船から花火を見れたことは一つの経験にはなりましたが、遠くから見ることになるので、全然迫力はないです。

それから、下の階のお客さんが、普通に5スターのデッキに階段を上ってきてました。一応階段を上がった先にロープがありますが、手慣れた感じでフックを外して入って、またフックをかけてました。スタッフの方ではなく、一般のお客さんです。

年老いた母を含めた、最初で最後の海外旅行だろうと考えてましたので、このようなオプショナルツアーに大金と時間を使ったことが残念で仕方がないです。

I participated for the first time with my parents and aunt, and since it was Friday, we were able to see the fireworks at the Hilton, which was very nice. The food was delicious as well. However, I had heard that the lobster would be shelled for easier eating, but when I asked, the person in charge didn’t know how to do it. They asked someone else for help, and while they did shell one portion, the rest I had to do myself, which was a bit challenging. Also, the person who came to pick us up from the hotel couldn’t speak Japanese, and it seemed that some Japanese guests didn’t understand why they were receiving stickers. The stickers were for the bus number for the return trip, and I was told repeatedly that if I lost it, I wouldn’t be allowed on the bus. I was advised to take a photo with my phone. All the staff were cheerful, and we were able to have a great time.

両親と叔母の5人で初めて参加しましたが、金曜日だったのでヒルトンの花火も見ることができてとても良かったです。料理も美味しかったです。ただ、ロブスターは食べやすいように殻を剥いて貰えると聞いていたのですが、お願いしたら担当の方もやり方を知らず、また違う人にやり方を聞いて殻を剥いてくれたものの、一人分だけで後は自分でということだったので、ちょっと大変でした。後、ホテルに迎えに来る方が日本語が話せない人で、何人かの日本人の方達は何でシールを貰うのか理解していなかったようです。シールは、帰りのバスの番号で、無くしたら乗せてくれないと何回も繰り返して言われました。携帯で写真を撮ることを勧められました。スタッフの方々は皆んな明るくて、楽しい時間を過ごすことができました。

Amazing cruise, had a lot of fun with friends. Dance performances are really good. Not many food options for vegetarian/vegan people. I think they can even improve the quality of non-vegetarian food.

I stayed at Hilton Hawaiian Village, and I thought I wouldn't be able to enjoy the fireworks since it was so close, so I booked a sunset dinner cruise. I also requested hotel shuttle service, and the pickup was smooth, allowing us to board the Star of Honolulu without much waiting.

Onboard, there was an all-you-can-eat buffet with delicious options like roast beef, chicken, fruits, and desserts. I enjoyed a Mai Tai as well. While listening to hula dancing and Hawaiian music, I had fun taking pictures with the people next to me. During sunset, I went out on the deck, felt the ocean breeze, and admired Diamond Head, making it a wonderful experience.

One thing I would like to see improved is the space around the buffet area, which was narrow and had a long line for the roast beef. It was disappointing to wait in a cramped space while it was crowded. Other than that, I thoroughly enjoyed the pleasant cruise. I would like to thank all the staff.

バスのホテル送迎もお願いしていたのですが、スムーズに送迎していただきスターオブホノルル号への乗船もあまり待たされることなく、乗船できました。
船内では、食べ放題ビュッフェがあり、ローストビーフやチキン、フルーツやスイーツと美味しく頂きました。飲み物はマイタイを。
フラダンスやハワイアンを聞きながら、お隣の方とも写真を撮りっこしたりと楽しく過ごし、サンセットの時間にはデッキに行き、海風に吹かれてダイヤモンドヘッドを眺めたりと、最高の時間を過ごしました。
一つ、改善してほしいと思うことは、ビュッフェの台あたりが狭く後ろにもたくさんの人が並び、ローストビーフで長蛇の列ができていたことです。
混み合うのに、スペースが狭くて待たされたのが、残念です。
それ以外は心地良い船旅が楽しめました。スタッフのみなさんにお礼を申し上げます。

I reserved a window seat because I boarded on Friday. The lobster was large and delicious. When it was time for the fireworks, everyone came out to the sign, so it was hard to see, but since I had children, we watched from our seats. You can enjoy the night view along with it, so I recommend boarding on Friday! Finally, everyone got excited and danced to YMCA!

I was very satisfied with the course meal while listening to songs and performances, along with the beautiful sunset and dance show. The dance show featured young men and women and was themed around various countries, and it was great to feel a sense of unity as everyone danced to familiar songs at the end. As it gets a bit chilly at night, I think it's necessary to wear a long-sleeved jacket in addition to an aloha shirt. If you want to take photos of the sunset and fireworks, I recommend moving early as there will be a lot of people lined up.

コース料理を食べて歌や演奏を聞きつつ、きれいな夕日やダンスショーもありとても満足です。
ダンスショーは若い男女と様々な国々をテーマとした内容で、最後は聞いたことのある曲を皆で踊って一体感が良かったです。

This is my third time, but it was my niece and her child's first time participating. The weather was clear, so we could see Waikiki and Diamond Head beautifully. The crew and staff were kind, and we enjoyed entertainment like tropical dances and singing.

We made a reservation for our honeymoon as a couple, including a 3-star (lobster & steak) meal, a window seat, photos, and round-trip bus service. There was no dress code, and I thought it was something we didn't need to worry about from a Japanese perspective.

After being shown to our seats, the staff quickly came around to take photos. They brought us a printed album during our meal, and we were surprised by how fast they did this. We had already paid for the photos when we made the reservation, but it seems you can also purchase them after seeing the actual prints. The photos turned out great, and we definitely plan to display them at home.

The food, including salad, bread, lobster, steak, and dessert, was all very delicious, and the self-serve cheese and fruit were also tasty. We received tickets for two drinks per person, and we could choose alcoholic beverages; if we wanted more, it would cost extra. Coffee or tea was provided as a complimentary service. The servers and other staff were friendly and had a pleasant demeanor.

Since we attended on a Friday, we were able to see the Hilton fireworks. They opened the windows about 15 minutes before the show, so if you want a good spot on the same floor as your meal, it seems best to claim a place around that time. We unintentionally went to the window about 15 minutes early, and as others started to gather, we were able to stay and enjoy the view. I believe you can also see it from the rooftop.

After the fireworks, there was a dance show on stage, which kept us entertained until our arrival.

For the round-trip bus, stickers were handed out at the beginning of the ride, which we were told to stick on our smartphones (or clothing). We placed it on our phone, and since it had a number on it, we just needed to go to the staff with that number to board the bus for our return. There was also a restroom on the bus, and the transportation was completely hassle-free. There was an explanatory video on the bus, and it was reassuring that it was available in Japanese.

席に案内されて結構すぐにスタッフの方が写真を撮りに回られます。それをアルバムに貼ったものを食事中に持ってきてくださり、その速さに驚きました。私たちは写真代も予約時に支払っていましたが、その場で実物を見てからの購入もできるようです。写真写りも良くてぜひ家に飾ろうと思いました。
料理はサラダ、パン、ロブスター、ステーキ、デザートすべてとても美味しかったですし、セルフ式のチーズやフルーツも美味しかったです。飲み物も1人2杯分のチケットをもらえてお酒も選べて、それ以上飲む場合お金がかかるシステムでした。コーヒーか紅茶はサービスで頂けます。サーバーの方やその他のスタッフもフレンドリーな方で感じが良かったです。
金曜の参加だったのでヒルトンの花火も見れました。15分前くらいから窓を開けてくださるので、食事と同じ階の良い位置で見たい場合はそのくらいから場所とりするのが良い気がします。私たちは特に意図せず15分前に窓側に行っていて、皆が集まりだしたのでそのまま居て見ることができました。または屋上でも観れるとおもいます。
花火の後はステージでダンスショーがあり、到着するまでずっと楽しめました。
往復バスは、行きの最初にシールが配られスマホ(や洋服)とかに貼れと言われますのでスマホに貼って、そこに番号が書いてあるので、帰りはその番号を持っているスタッフのところに行けばバスに乗せてくれます。バスの中にトイレもありましたし、送迎も全く問題ありませんでした。バスの中で説明ビデオを見るのですが日本語もあるので安心です。
少々お値段は高いけれど、それに見合う満足のいくものになりました。
