Our 30th wedding anniversary trip to Hawaii. Since my husband, who was visiting Hawaii for the first time, wanted to have a Hawaiian experience, we chose this place where we could enjoy both hula and rock music.

A beautiful hula dancer placed a fresh flower lei around my neck, and we took a photo with Elvis Presley! I was already in high spirits.

Once we were seated, we started with a Mai Tai drink and piled our plates high at the buffet. The dessert was also delicious.

In between, there were hula dances and hula lessons.

After the meal, we moved to a spacious theater where the dancers showcased impressive hula and fire dances. There was also a presentation that traced the history of Hawaii using two large screens, featuring songs and dances by Elvis and Michael Jackson, which got all the Western guests excited.

Thanks to this experience, we had a wonderful last night in Hawaii. Thank you!

結婚30周年のハワイ旅行。ハワイ初訪問の主人がハワイらしい体験をしたい！と言うのでフラもロックも楽しめるこちらを選びました。
キレイなフラルックのお姉さんに生花のレイをかけて頂きエルビスプレスリーさんと写真をパシャ！もう気分は上々♪
席に着くとマイタイドリンクから始まり、ビュッフェ形式でお皿いっぱいに盛って頬張りました。デザートも美味しかったです。
途中、フラダンスやフラレッスンもあり。
食事後に広いシアターに移動。ダンサーの皆様が素晴らしい見応えありのフラやファイヤーダンスを披露。
大きなスクリーン２つを活用してハワイの歴史を辿るような演出もありエルビスやマイケルジャクソンの歌やダンス、欧米のお客さん達も皆んなで大いに盛り上がっていました。
お陰様で楽しいハワイのラストの夜を過ごせました。ありがとうございました！

Had a great time on a special day. everyone there was friendly and entertaining

On our first trip together, my sister and I visited Hawaii. I take hula lessons, and my sister used to take them too, so we talked about wanting to see a show together! There was a show just for hula, but at my sister's request, we decided to go to "Rock-a-Hula." There were option tours from travel companies, but we found this tour from Veltra with "second person free" and signed up without hesitation. In the end, it was a great decision! We were able to enjoy delicious food while watching the hula dancers, and the person in charge was very kind. Above all, the show was so much fun. Being in the front row made it even better, and the variety of the show kept us entertained; the time flew by!

私はフラを習っていて、姉も昔習っていたので二人でショーを観に行きたいね！と話していました。フラだけのショーもあったのですが、姉の希望で「ロック・ア・フラ」に行くことに決まりました。旅行会社のオプションツアーもあったのですが、ベルトラさんの「２人目無料」のコチラのツアーを見つけて迷わず申し込みました。結果、大正解でした！フラダンサーさんの踊りを見ながら、色々なお料理を美味しく食べることが出来たのと、担当してくださった方か親切に対応してくださり、何よりもショーが楽しかったです。最前列ですぐ間近だったのもあるのですが、バリエーション豊かなショーに飽きることなく、あっという間の時間でした。

Enjoyed the fact that we were able to learn about the different cultures and languages.

I’ve been to many luaus and this one was great. The warrior stories and performance was stunning. The food and drinks were good and authentic. The openness of the venue and seating arrangements were appreciated.

Only aspect that was a bit disappointing was the bus/shuttle that took us to the luau: 1) there were a lot of sick people on the bus coughing and sneezing, it would have been mindful to ask they were a mask or include instructions if sick not to take the shuttle 2) the shuttle stayed at the pickup locations for a long time, longer than they should have… this delayed our bus ride. Stick to the rules and please don’t delay other guests. 3) traffic and freeway accidents can’t be prevented or predicted, but if we left the bus stops on time it could have given us more time for pre luau activities.

On my first trip to Hawaii, I enjoyed cocktails while watching shows featuring Michael Jackson and Elvis Presley, fully immersing myself in the Hawaiian night. The entertainment was outstanding and very enjoyable. My wife even participated in hula dancing. The buffet had so many options that I couldn't finish it all, and I was more than satisfied.

ショーはエンターテインメント抜群で楽しめます。
妻は、フラダンスにも参加して踊っていました。
ビュッフェも食べ切れない位の品数があり、十分満足出来ます。

The scenery was amazing and calming, and I had a great time. It didn't feel too large-scale, but I was able to enjoy a cozy atmosphere. The timing was just right as well. The staff were all kind and friendly. Thank you for the wonderful memories!

After the reception, you can take photos with the cast. Once you are shown to your seat, you can enjoy live performances of Hawaiian songs while having a drink. After that, there was a buffet dinner. There were many dishes that suited Japanese tastes, and everything was very delicious. The roast beef, in particular, was tender and excellent. The desserts were also plentiful, including fruits, cakes, and ice cream, which made for a very satisfying experience.

The show featured hula dancing, rock music, and fire dancing, and it was very enjoyable. I think it was something that the whole family could enjoy. It became a wonderful memory of a night in Hawaii.

受付の後キャストとの写真撮影ができます。席に案内されるとドリンクをいただきながら、ハワイアンソングの生演奏を楽しめます。その後ビュッフェディナーでした。日本人の好みに合う味付けのものが多く、とてもおいしくいただきました。特にローストビーフは柔らかくて最高でした。デザートもフルーツやケーキ、アイスクリームなど充実していて大満足でした。
ショーはフラダンス、ロック、ファイアーダンスと盛りだくさんでとても楽しめました。
家族みんなが楽しめる内容だったとおもいます。ハワイの夜のよい思い出になりました。

My family had a great time at the Chief's Luau Show. We paid more for the Royal seats and received the royal treatment. I also got a free weaved bowl, went onstage, and received a bouquet of flowers since we had an anniversary >20 years. Great dancing - loved the fire show. A great show and good food. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Oahu.

There was also a moment when everyone danced the hula, and it was a lot of fun 🙆‍♀️✨️

I visited for my mother's 60th birthday celebration. First of all, I appreciated the pick-up and drop-off service, and when we arrived, the location was wonderful! As soon as we got there, we received a warm and fantastic welcome, and we were able to enjoy fun activities while waiting. The main dishes, along with the music and hula dance, were top-notch and exceptional. It truly became a wonderful birthday celebration. The atmosphere was also fantastic. I would like to thank all the staff. Thank you very much!

まず、送り迎えつきなのがありがたかったですし、到着したらロケーションが素晴らしかったです！到着するやいなや、とても感じの良いすばらしいお出迎えをいただき、待ち時間も楽しいアクティビティを経験することができました。そしてメインのお料理と演奏&フラダンスも最高、最上級でした。

My wife was very happy to be doing hula. It seems she learned a lot from watching the dance. I would like to participate again when we go to Hawaii. The staff members were also very good.

The show was powerful, and the audience's reaction was great, creating a wonderful sense of unity like a live performance. The buffet at Gateway had high quality and a variety of options, which left me very satisfied. The transportation was, in a good way, bland, so it worked well for me.

ショーは迫力があり、観客の反応も良いので、ライブのような一体感があり素晴らしいです。
Gatewayのビュッフェは質が高く、いろんなものがあり、大変満足でした。
送迎は、いい意味で無味乾燥だったので、僕にはよかったです。

This was a nice Luau that was right at our Resort. The food was good and the entertainment was awesome, told of the history of the Island and The Royal Hawaiian Resort. Recommend if staying at the Resort.

I had a fulfilling evening with a show after the buffet!

It was helpful that the food was also written in Japanese! The vanilla ice cream was very delicious, and I want to eat it again!

The driver was Japanese and very kind. At the location, we enjoyed a meal while watching hula dancing. It was just the two of us and another couple from the mainland United States, so we had the place to ourselves. It became a wonderful memory.

現地に向かい運転手さんも日本人で優しく，現地では，フラダンスなどを鑑賞しながら食事です。私たち夫婦二人以外に，アメリカ本土から来た夫婦二人の貸し切り状態でした。
とても思い出になりました。

Great menu, great pacing, the kids were laughing the whole time and off their cell phones which is a win!!

We enjoyed learning about the different cultures. The best one was Samoa. The chief had us laughing the entire time. We even bought his paintings afterwards and he signed them. The buffet dinner was amazing. I recommend getting a tour guide as they can give you more information and take you through all the villages quicker.

It was a wonderful show. The structure was great, and I was very satisfied. I especially saw male hula for the first time, and it was powerful and inspiring.

The Hawaiian buffet was very delicious, and the staff were very kind. Although there was a bit of an atmosphere that made it difficult to go for a second round at the buffet, the staff's friendly assistance allowed me to go without hesitation. Since I could also experience hula dancing, it became an opportunity to bond with foreign visitors through dance. The show, which traced the history of Hawaii and hula dancing, was a vibrant performance that made me truly feel that I was in Hawaii, lifting my spirits.

ハワイアンビュッフェはとても美味しく、定員さんもとても優しかったです。またビュッフェの2周目が行きにくい雰囲気でしたが、店員さんが優しく対応してくれたため我慢することなく行くことができました。フラダンスも体験できるため、ダンスを通して外国人の方とも仲良くなるきっかけになりました。ショーではハワイとフラダンスの歴史を辿りながらみる華やかなショーによって、改めてハワイに来ていることを実感し、気分が上がりました。

I participated in Bon Voyage Kobe after being recommended by Mr. Tamura, and it was great to be able to see the show up close. The meals before the show also enhanced the atmosphere, making it an overall recommended experience.

ボン・ヴォヤージュ神戸　田村氏に勧められて参加しましたが　割と近くでショーが見れて良かったです。ショーが始まるまでの食事なども雰囲気を盛り上げてくれて全体的にお勧めのひと時です。

Smaller show but they still crowd connect throughout the night!

We took advantage of the Sea Life Park tickets before hand and had a full day of fun and enriching experience. The luau was educational as well as entertaining and all of the performers were engaging and talented! From the daring of the tree climb to fire knives in the wind, we were blown away by the commitment of the team. The food was good and plenty abundant. The bar makes a mean Mai Tai.
If you do the park first, don't allocate TOO much time unless you have serious interest, it really only takes a couple hours to get the full experience.

We had the pleasure of attending the show and a had a great time. The staff was informative and very helpful from arrival to exit. The stage performers and musician were very talented and very enjoyable. A great evening.

On the first night of my first trip to Hawaii, I attended a buffet and show. After arriving in Waikiki, I quickly went shopping and got my outfit ready before heading to the buffet. The food was delicious, and it was fun to be invited by the staff to dance together at the end.

After the meal, everyone was excited about the diverse show. I felt moved by the professionalism of the performance, but I hesitated to share too much about the content to avoid spoilers.

On the way back, I was able to take commemorative photos with the dancers, making it a valuable experience. It really immerses you in the spirit of Hawaii!

初ハワイの初日の夜にビュッフェ&ショーを持ってきました。ワイキキに入ってから早速ショッピングに出かけて、衣装も揃えて先ずはビュッフェへ。料理は美味しくて、最後はスタッフより声を掛けられて一緒に踊るのも楽しかったです。
食後は多彩なショーにみんな大盛り上りでした。内容に触れるとネタバレ的になるとどうかな？と思うので、プロ意識の高いショーに感動を覚えました。
帰りにはダンサー達と記念撮影もできて、価値ある体験だったと思います。
一気にHawaii 化しますよ。

A dinner show is something you definitely want to experience at least once when you come to Hawaii. This time, I went to "Rock-a-Hula"!

When I arrived at the venue, the staff greeted me with a smile and placed a lei around my neck, instantly putting me in a Hawaiian mood. There was a hula lesson, and even beginners can easily learn some simple steps. Dancing together creates a sense of unity and is so much fun!

Additionally, there was a time for each group to play the ukulele. The atmosphere is relaxed, making it enjoyable even for those who are trying the ukulele for the first time.

The staff primarily speak English, but when I mentioned I was Japanese, they responded with a friendly "Hello!" in simple Japanese. The menu also had Japanese options, and there were quite a few Japanese guests, which made me feel at ease.

Dinner was served buffet-style, and the meat they grilled right there was particularly juicy and delicious.

After the meal, it was finally showtime! The show was a fusion of rock and Hawaiian music, and the performance of Michael Jackson was astonishingly similar to the real thing! The recreation of his dance moves and gestures was impressive, and there were loud cheers from the audience.

Moreover, the fire show was thrilling and kept everyone on the edge of their seats! The energy from the stage was palpable, and it was incredibly exciting.

会場に着くと、スタッフさんが笑顔でレイをかけてくれて、気分が一気にハワイアンモードに。
フラレッスンがあり、初心者でも簡単なステップを教えてもらえます。みんなで踊ると、一体感が生まれて楽しい！
さらに、グループごとにウクレレ演奏の時間もありました。初めてウクレレに触れる人でも気軽に楽しめる雰囲気です。
スタッフさんは基本英語ですが、「日本人です」と伝えると「こんにちは！」と簡単な日本語で対応してくれました。メニューも日本語があり、客層も日本人が多めだったので安心感があります。
ディナーはビュッフェスタイルで、特にその場で焼いてくれるお肉がジューシーで美味しかったです。
食事が終わると、いよいよショータイム！
ロックとハワイアンが融合したショーで、特にマイケル・ジャクソンのパフォーマンスは驚くほど本人にそっくり！
ダンスや仕草の再現度が高く、客席からも大きな歓声が上がっていました。
さらに、火を使ったショーは迫力満点で、ハラハラドキドキの連続！ステージの熱気が伝わってきて大興奮でした。

The way this show was organized and put together was amazing. We enjoyed every aspect of the show. They made it feel like you were a part of the performance the entire time. The only reason I gave the good rating was because the photographer didn't take enough time arranging our family of 17 so you could see everyone in the photo. Also she quickly snapped the two pictures before we were ready so eyes were closed in both pictures. We also wanted individual family photos and she wouldn't do it for us. She would have made more money by all of us buying a photo package. The food was OK, it was a little cold and the pork was dried out.

It was raining. The show has been canceled. Hotel should have roof cover.
