Although my stay in Hawaii was short, it was my first trip to Hawaii, and I was overwhelmed by the various entertainment options. However, this live performance was packed with authentic live music, hula dancing, and Polynesian culture, and I was very satisfied. There were also many honeymooners from around the world.

今回、ハワイ滞在期間が短いものの、初めてのハワイ旅行ということで、色々なエンタメが魅力的で困っていましたが、このライヴは、本格的なライヴもフラダンスもポリネシアンもすべてがギュッと詰まっていて大満足でした。
世界中からハネムーンで来てるお客さんも多かったです。

The guide lady on the way there talked a lot, which is understandable, but the driver was driving roughly with his elbow on the window and speeding. The car shook so much that it made me feel sick. The food and show were about what I expected. On the way back, they said they would check that everyone was on board before leaving, but the moment it was time, they took off without checking. As expected, someone who was supposed to get off at the Hilton wasn't on board. I wonder what happened... I might not go again.

行きの車内のガイドおばちゃんが良く喋るのは仕方ないが、
運転手が肩肘付きながらスピード出して運転が荒い。
気持ち悪くなるほど良く揺れる車もいまいち。
食事とショーはまあ予想通りのレベル。
帰りの車は全員乗車を確認してから出発すると言っていたのに
時間になった瞬間、確認もしないで急発進。
案の定、ヒルトンで降りる予定だった人が乗ってなかった。
どうなったんだろう。。。
次はないかな。

I was torn between Standard and Deluxe, but I'm glad I chose Deluxe!

I had a great view from the center of the third row. I could really appreciate the dancers' expressions, and I enjoyed the fire dance and the energetic hip-shaking dances. The stage was much larger than I expected, so I was happy to have a good seat. In the first half, various dances were performed in turns by several teams, and in the second half, it got even more exciting with fire dances. At the end of the show, the dancers came over to shake hands, and I was amazed by how muscular the main dancer was... Their palms were thick and hard, which surprised me. (laughs)

As for the food, I was able to enjoy a lot of meat, fish, salads, and desserts. The beef was thick yet tender, and I ended up going for seconds. I was wondering if I would get to try Kalua pig during my trip, but it was included in the buffet menu, so I unexpectedly got to enjoy it. The pork was light and delicious, with just the right amount of fat. The way my favorite dishes were piled high on a large plate felt like ordering from a restaurant, and I was very satisfied.

スタンダードかデラックスか、迷いましたがデラックスで良かったです！

ショーは前から３列目の真ん中で、じっくり鑑賞することができました。ダンサーの表情もよく見えたし、ファイヤーダンスや激しく腰を振るダンスもしっかり見えてとても楽しめました。ステージは思っていたよりも随分広かったので、良い席にしてもらえて良かったです。前半は色々なダンスを数人のチームに分かれて順繰りに披露という感じ、後半は火を使ったダンスも交えて盛り上がりました。ショーの最後にダンサーの方が握手に来てくれましたが、メインダンサーの方のムキムキ具合がすごかったです…手のひらも厚くて硬くてびっくりしました。笑

料理も、お肉お魚、サラダやスイーツもたくさん食べれました。ビーフが分厚いのに柔らかくておかわりする程、カルアピッグは旅行中食べれるかな～と思っていたら、ブッフェメニューに含まれていたので予定外に食べられました。脂のおちたあっさり目の豚肉でおいしかった^^好きなメニューを大皿にどっしり盛りつけた感じは、レストランで頼んだメニューのようで、満足ｄした。

We had an awesome driver named Allen who was hauling his way to get to the Polynesian cultural center even through the pouring rain. Even though we purchased the late night entry, we still had a great time with our tour guide and was able to go to a few of the more larger exhibits. Each land has their own exhibit, or a mini show varying from 15-30 minutes. My favorite was the Samoas. The dinner was a buffet style luau with the hula girls and boys, and the children. Half day is more than enough time to go through the park. There was also a canoe ride that operates every 15 min but we missed it since we were the last wave to enter the park. The show at the end called HA, the breathe of life was an amazing show!

The service was excellent, and the food, especially the truffle mashed potatoes, was delicious. The show was lively and enjoyable, with many non-Japanese audience members present.

ショーは観客にたくさんの日本人以外の方がいらっしゃったので盛り上がり楽しかったです。

This is my third visit to the Polynesian Cultural Center. The stories from the elderly guide on the shuttle bus were interesting. The dance show has also been renewed and was great. Last time it was fully booked, but this time there were many empty seats, and I could tell the guide was lamenting the lack of Japanese tourists. It might be inconvenient because it's far from Waikiki? However, if you use a tour like this one, you can go there with peace of mind.

　ポリネシア文化センターへは、3回目です。迎えのバスの年輩のガイドさんの話が面白かったです。ダンスシヨーもリニュアルされており良かったです。前回は満席でしたが、今回は空席が多数あり日本人観光客が少ないとガイドさんが嘆いていたのがわかりました。ワイキキから遠いので不便なのが原因かも？今回のようなツアーを利用すれば安心して行けますよ。

I made a reservation for the premium seats and attended with my daughter. It seemed that the seats were predetermined, as we were guided to a seat overlooking the diamond bed at the front row of the stage when we handed over the voucher at the reception. We shared a table with a 50-year-old American woman who was attending alone and a large Chinese family, and it was enjoyable to communicate in broken English. The atmosphere of the oceanfront garden at the Royal Hawaiian was fantastic, and the buffet had a wide variety of dishes that were quite delicious. The price is high, but I recommend it for those who want to enjoy the show in an elegant setting.

プレミア席で予約を取り、娘と二人で参加しました。
席はあらかじめ決まっていたようで、レセプションでバウチャーを渡すと舞台最前列のダイヤモンドベッドを臨む席に案内されました。
一人で参加していた50代のアメリカ人女性と中国人の大家族と同じテーブルだったのですが、カタコトの英語で交流をしたのも楽しかったです。
会場のロイヤルハワイアンのオーシャンフロントの庭の雰囲気は最高で、バイキングのお料理も品数が多くそれなりに美味しかったです。
お値段は高いですが、優雅にショーを楽しみたい方にオススメです。

Last year, I attended the "VIP Dinner & Cocktail Show," and both the food and the show were excellent, so I was determined to end my last night in Oahu here. This year, I upgraded to the "Green Room & Dinner Show." Unexpectedly, I was able to participate through a monitor tour.

Before entering the venue, I handed over my voucher at the reception and received a neck strap pass. At that moment, I felt like Cinderella. A charming and elegant prince guided us to the Green Room. There was drink service, but there wasn't much time to relax and enjoy. On that day, there were three other participants besides us. We sat on the white sofa indoors and took some photos.

After that, we were guided through the stage setup, lighting, costumes, props, and dressing rooms with clear explanations. I felt like a star on the empty stage and took a snapshot there too! Thanks to the backstage tour, I found the show I usually watch casually even more interesting, with quick costume changes and surfboards crossing the stage.

The dinner featured tender steak and mashed potatoes, which were delicious. The tasty bread was available for seconds. The salmon and lobster had a slightly fishy taste. The dessert was quite sweet, but it paired perfectly with the coffee.

The show featured Elvis, Michael, and Little Richard. Since I had familiarized myself with the lyrics beforehand, I was even more moved than last time. The dancers, including those performing Tahitian hula, delivered sharp performances that transported me to a dream! Especially the fire dancer's powerful and beautiful dance is something words can't express. You must experience it for yourself.

昨年参加した≪VIPディナー＆カクテルショー≫が食事、ショー共に内容がとても良かったので、オアフ最後の夜は絶対ここで締めようと思っていました。
今年は≪グリーンルーム＆ディナーショー≫にグレードアップ。思いがけずモニターツアーで参加出来ました。

会場に入る前に受付でバウチャーを渡し、ネックストラップのパスを受け取ります。この瞬間からシンデレラに変身？上品で素敵な王子様がグリーンルームに案内してくれます。ドリンクのサービスが有りますが、のんびり楽しむ程の時間はありません。当日は私達の他に３人の参加が有りました。室内の白いソファに腰掛け写真を撮ってもらいました。

その後、舞台装置や照明、衣装、小道具、楽屋などを分かりやすい説明を交え案内してくれました。まだ誰もいない舞台でスターになった気分でここでもパチリ！スターの早変わりや舞台を横切るサーフボードなどバックステージツアーのおかげで普段何気なく見ているショーが一層、面白く感じました。

ディナーの柔らかいステーキとマッシュポテトが美味しい。これまた美味しいパンはおかわり
できます。サーモンとロブスターは少し生臭い気がしました。デザートはかなり甘いのですが
珈琲とベストマッチです。

エルビス・マイケル・リトルリチャード３人のショーでした。前もって代表的な歌詞の内容を把握して行ったので、前回以上に感激しました。
タヒチアンフラを含めダンサー達の切れの良いパフォーマンスにしばし夢の中！特にファイアーダンサーの力強く美しいダンスはとても口では表現できません。是非ご自身で感じてください。

I got bored during the show.
There wasn't much to eat. If you miss the first round, there's nothing left.
The seating is arranged in two rows in a U-shape with the stage in the center. The front row seems to be reserved for guests, so you can't sit there even if you arrive early.
You have to wait until the people in the front row finish before you can go to the buffet.
It's expensive for what you get, but since it's the Hilton, I suppose that's to be expected.
It became a memorable family trip.

ショーは途中で飽きちゃいました。
食事は食べるのもがあまりない。最初に取り損ねるともうありません。
席は２列でコの字でステージが中央にある。前列は宿泊者専用なのか早くても座れません。
バイキングの取りに行く順番も前列の席の人が終わってからじゃないといけません。
値段の割には高いですがヒルトンなので仕方が無いと思います。
家族旅行の記念にはなりました。

I made a reservation because I wanted to see hula (since it feels like Hawaii). The food was quite delicious, and the atmosphere was nice. Additionally, it was fun to see various Polynesian dances, not just hula. The Tahitian performance was the most exciting, and my dad was invited on stage to dance, which made for a fun experience. Since we chose the standard seating, the stage was a bit far, but they danced facing different directions, so it was enjoyable even from the side. It was a bit pricey, but I think it was worth the cost.

フラが見たくて（ハワイっぽいから）予約しました。食事も結構美味しかったし、雰囲気も良かった。それに、フラだけではなくポリネシアンのいろいろなダンスが見られて楽しかった。タヒチは一番盛り上がり、うちのパパは誘われてステージにあがって踊らされ、楽しく過ごせた。スタンダードにしたのでステージは少し遠かったけど、いろいろな方向を向いてダンスしてくれていたので正面じゃなくても楽しめる内容だった。少し割高だけど、値段だけのことはあると思いました。

The park is worth to visit, food just ok but the show at night is so good and make the day worth it.

Overall we had a good time at the Luau. I felt the food was pretty good with the exception of the fish not being cooked enough but the wife felt the food was lacking a fair bit. The show was very enjoyable and entertaining. Met some great folks at the table with us and overall really enjoyed the show.

The tour guide was not that good, spoke in a soft voice and let the passengers talk too much so it was hard to concentrate on what she was saying.

I had decided during my last trip that I would definitely go see this next time, and my wish came true. The newlyweds who joined us were friendly and refreshing, which was great.

As for the show, perhaps my expectations were too high... ^^; Michael Jackson was amazing, but I thought Elvis could have been even more over-the-top.

I believe there was an announcement that photography was allowed as long as no flash was used, but I was taking pictures without flash and was still told off by a staff member. I wonder why that happened?

前回の旅行時点で次は絶対見に行こうと決めていて念願がかないました。
同席した新婚さんも気さくで爽やかな方達で良かったです。
ショーの感想ですが期待が大きすぎたせいか・・・^^;
マイケル・ジャクソンは素晴らしかったですがエルビスはもっとオーバーアクションでも良かったと思いました。

フラッシュを使わなければ撮影OKとアナウンスがあったと思いましたが、フラッシュ無しで撮影してたのに係の人に注意されましたが何故でしょう？

We started from Waikiki Beach and visited Hanauma Bay, Moanalua Gardens, Waimanalo Shopping Center, Dole Plantation, and Haleiwa in that order. We arrived at the Polynesian Cultural Center around 1 PM, where we spent the afternoon enjoying lunch, exploring the grounds, attending the dinner, and watching the light show until 9:30 PM. I think it was a very fulfilling tour.

ワイキキビーチから出発、次がハナウマ湾、モアナルアガーデン、ワイマナロショッピングセンター、ドールプランテーション、ハレイワの順番で回って、午後1時頃にポリネシアカルチャーセンターにたどり着き、ランチ、園内観光、デイナ、ライトショーを夜9時半まで園内で過ごしました。
とても充実したツアーだったと思います。

The guide talked non-stop on the way there (which is understandable since they are a guide), so I couldn't sleep. I thought it was just a transfer service without a guide, which was a bit stressful. The buffet meal was also disappointing. On the way back, we were told not to go to the restroom and to return to the bus immediately! So, I decided to leave a little before the end. I wish I had a bit more time to relax.

行きのガイドさんがずーっと喋っていたので（ガイドですから仕方ないのですが…）寝れませんでした。ガイド付きではなく送迎付きだと思っていたのでちょっとストレス…。バイキングの食事もイマイチ…。帰りはトイレなんて行かないですぐにバスに戻るように！と言われたのでラスト少し前に出ることに。もうちょっと余裕が欲しかったです…。

The dance show features various costumes and dances from Polynesia, including not only Hawaii but also Tahiti, Tonga, and New Zealand, throughout its overall story. Above all, the quality of the dance is impressive! The large group performances are beautifully synchronized down to their fingertips. The men's fire dance was also powerful.

Since I participated in the standard tour, the meal was a bit simple, but the venue was magnificent, with a large painting covering the entire wall that was strong and emotional, leaving a lasting impression. Next time, I would like to participate not only in the dance show but also in the daytime tour of the park.

ダンスショーは全体的なストーリーを通して、ポリネシアン(ハワイだけでなく、タヒチやトンガ、ニュージーランドなど）の色々な衣装やダンスを見ることが出来ます。
何といっても圧巻なのはダンスの質の高さです！大人数の群舞が指先まで揃っていて綺麗です。男性の踊るファイアーダンスも迫力がありました。
スタンダード･ツアーで参加したのでお食事はちょっとシンプルでしたが、会場は壁全体に描かれた大きな絵が力強く、情緒があって、圧倒されるほど立派でした。
次回はダンスショーだけでなく昼からの園内ツアーにも参加したいと思っています。

I had seen hula shows before, but this was my first time experiencing such a powerful performance. I was drawn into the story, and by the end, there was a standing ovation!! It was moving. The ice cream served during the show was also delicious. I definitely want you to pay attention to the staff who run to refill the ice cream!! They carry an incredible amount of ice cream on a tray, holding it with one hand... and run down the stairs!! The speed was amazing!! I want to see it again next time!

フラのショーなどは見たことがありましたが、こんなに迫力満点なショーは初めてでした。
物語に引き込まれ、最後にはスタンディングオーベ―ション!!感動ですた。
ショーの合間にだされるアイスも美味しかったです。アイスを補充しに走ってくるスタッフさんにぜひ注目そていただきたい！！笑　　ものすごい量のアイスをトレーに乗せ、片手で持ち・・・階段を駆け下りる！！その速さったら！！
また次回も拝見したいです！

I highly recommend this event, particularly as a Super Ambassador. The private tour guide and reserved seating were definitely worth the extra pennies. We partaked in lots of activities, saw all the best shows in best seats and generally had an amazing day. I can't recommend this event enough.

It was a very good tour. I believe everything depended on the guide's skills. The final hula was wonderful. Since it's in a remote location, I think you can only go there through an optional tour.

I participated because I wanted my parents, who were visiting Hawaii for the first time, to experience what Hawaii has to offer. Starting with traditional hula, the spectacular fire show was breathtaking, and my parents were thrilled. I definitely recommend participating in the premium seating. You can really see everything up close!

The meal was served buffet-style, and we all lined up together to serve ourselves. There were many Hawaiian dishes, and they were very colorful. For drinks, I exchanged the drink tickets I received at the reception at the bar, but friendly waiters also came around to take orders at our seats.

I considered the luau at the Polynesian Cultural Center, but we had a great time here. Given the location and the food, I think I would choose this place again for my next visit.

ハワイは初めての両親に、ザ・ハワイなるものを体験してほしいと思い参加しました。
伝統的なフラから始まり、大迫力のファイヤーショーは圧巻で両親は大喜び。
是非、プレミアムシートでの参加をお薦めします。本当に目の前で見られます！
お食事はブッフェ方式で、みんなで仲良く一列に並び順番に取り分けて食べました。
ハワイアン料理がたくさんあり、とても鮮やかでした。
ドリンクは受付時に貰ったドリンクチケットと交換でバーでオーダーしましたが、お席へも気さくなウェイターさんが聞きに来てくれます。
ポリネシアンセンターのルアウと悩みましたが、十分楽しめました。やはり立地・お食事共に次回も参加するならこちらかなと思います。

Satoru, an international student, guided us with a ukulele in hand. He considered which activities would be enjoyable based on the members' countries and took breaks in the heat while showing us around. We learned about history and culture, enjoyed an exciting show, and experienced a humorous canoe ride before cooling down with a movie. After a buffet dinner, we enjoyed a magnificent show that included an impressive fire dance following a backstage tour. The souvenir shop was also of high quality, making the long trip worthwhile. A fond memory is when they made fish toys from tea leaves to keep the children entertained. I hope to visit again someday!

留学生のサトルさんがウクレレを片手に案内してくれましたが、メンバーをみて、どの国のどんなアクティビティに参加したら楽しめるかを考え、暑い中休憩をとりつつ案内してくれました。歴史や文化を知り、ショーで盛り上がり、冗談まじりのカヌーくだりを経て、映画でクールダウン。ビュッフェのディナーの後は、バックステージツアーを経て大迫力のファイアーダンスを含む壮大なショーを楽しみました。お土産屋さんのレベルも高いし、遠くまで遠征したかいがありました。子供が飽きないように、ティーリーフで魚のおもちゃを作ってくれたことも良い思い出です。またいつか行きたいと思います！

This is the only luau I have attended, but I can't imagine one being more enjoyable than this one. The pick-up service was right on time at the scheduled location and the drive over to Sea Life Park was quick considering the time of departure. The pre-dinner activities were fun and I picked up a piece of local artwork from a vendor that has become my favorite Hawaiian collectible. Dinner was very good and I'm still thinking of how yummy the coconut cake was! Chief was very entertaining and the other performers really put their native pride into the show. I would certainly recommend this luau experience!

I attended a luau show. Since I had made a reservation here, the process was smooth. The show itself was average, and the food was also average at the buffet. I think it's a good option to reserve with peace of mind and see it at least once.

ルアウショーを見てきました。
こちらで予約していたので、手続きはスムーズでした。
ショー自体は普通、食べ物もビュッフェで普通でした。
安心して予約して、一度見るにはいいのかなと思います。

My kids and I found it to be a fun and learning experience. To learn about all the different Polynesian people in that kind of setting was great. The food and the show was wonderful.

Michael Jackson and others were incredibly fun, and I seriously want to see a real show in Las Vegas or New York‼️ A high-scoring show!

高得点ショー

I am a native Hawaiian so I know my way around a luau. I was home visiting family and decided to take my wife and kids to Chief's Luau at Sea Life Park Hawaii. I must say it was THE BEST luau I have ever been to. The food was excellent as I usually go to a luau for the food first and show second. The show was even better as Chief was the perfect showman with talent to burn. Speaking of burn, the fire dancers were simply AMAZING!! The entire show was dazzling as each Polynesian country were represented in true artistry. What an amazing show with some of the most delicious authentic Hawaiian food I have ever tasted. My only complaint, and its a small one, is that there was no haupia for dessert.

I participated on my last night in Hawaii. I was torn between the Polynesian Center and Hilton, but considering the fatigue of my elderly parents, I chose Hilton. I also considered Golden Circle, but I was glad I chose Hilton since we arrived a bit late and still got pretty good seats. The show was decent (the Polynesian show I saw in Guam might have been better…). However, it was only in English, so I didn’t understand the talk very well. The meal was a buffet, and the flavors suited Japanese tastes, so I felt comfortable eating everything. It included two drinks, and the price seemed reasonable. Overall, it was very good.

ハワイ最後の夜に参加しました。ポリネシアセンターと迷いましたが、高齢の両親と一緒なので
移動の疲れを考えてヒルトンにしました。ゴールデンサークルも迷ったけど、少し遅れて到着しても結構良い席だったので選んでよかったです。ショーはそこそこよかったです（グアムで見たポリネシアンショーの方がよかったかも…）ただ英語オンリーなのでトークはよくわかりませんでした。食事はブッフェですが、日本人の口に合う味でどの料理も安心して食べられました。
２ドリンク付きだし、価格はこんなものでしょうか。総合的にとてもよかったです。

Fantastic. We were made to feel Welcome to the Beautiful Island. The presentation
was very authentic performed with passion. We really felt as if The Chief had gathered
the best of the best to reflect the special times of island life. The venue is the perfect
size and the interaction during the Meet & Greet time with games and conversation
could only be described as welcomed interaction.
Thank You for the pride of heritage and reality in which all was presented.
Gorgeous view of the bay behind the Stage complimented the performance of these
proud islanders.
