The transportation and diving were both very enjoyable and provided a wonderful experience. However, I feel that the tips are quite high. While it's not mandatory, we were informed that the standard is to give the instructor $20, the photographer $20, and the driver $5 to $10 before flying. When my wife and I requested only the photographer, the tips alone amounted to about $70. Perhaps it's because we're not accustomed to the tipping culture, but for us as a couple, it's a significant expense.

The weather was bad, and we had to wait for about an hour due to the conditions, but we were able to dive in great weather afterward. It was my first time, and it felt amazing. The instructor was kind and really helped to create a fun atmosphere. You can wear whatever you like, but I wouldn't recommend light clothing since it can be cold. Also, it seems you need to wear athletic shoes, not just sneakers, so be careful about that.

The hotel shuttle service was excellent. I was really nervous about skydiving since it was my first time, but I followed the instructor's advice and ended up jumping out of the plane. The view of Hawaii from the small aircraft was beautiful, but the slow time after the parachute opened allowed me to enjoy breathtaking scenery that was truly unforgettable. I followed the instructions to lift my legs and stand up when they tapped my shoulder, and I landed safely. I definitely want to do it again. It became an unforgettable memory in Hawaii.

I participated the day before my return from my stay in Hawaii. It took about an hour to drive to the diving spot on the North Shore, and when it was our turn, our paired instructor skillfully helped us put on our gear.

My sister and I participated together! As soon as we arrived, we watched a DVD, and it felt like we took off into the sky about an hour after our turn came. We quickly ascended to 14,000 feet, and the moment we took off was a bit scary, but once we were flying, it was simply amazing. The scenery was absolutely stunning! The excitement made the fear completely disappear! The instructor was also kind, which made me feel safe to let go. The finished photos and DVD turned out really well, and the DVD was edited with music, making it a treasure. Everyone in the car had to wait until they flew before we could go back, but I think we ended up returning to the hotel around 2 PM. I think it's a good idea to plan to relax that day since the effects of gravity can really tire you out. I was a bit worried because there wasn't much information about valuables, but I was able to leave them at the reception, and there were no problems at all. If you're going to Hawaii, I highly recommend making a reservation for skydiving!! It was my sister and I's first time, so we were both excited and nervous...

The day before, the morning pickup time changed, so we found ourselves on the shuttle bus by 6:45 AM!! On the bus, we quietly signed documents (the hardest part was definitely filling out those forms, haha).

Since it was early in the morning, my sister and I fell asleep on the bus. When we woke up, we had arrived. After arriving, we submitted our documents and then just waited until our names were called!

We were the last group from our bus to jump, so we waited for almost two hours before it was our turn!! There were some snacks available for purchase, but the selection wasn't very large, so I think it's better to bring your own food!!

I think it's best to bring things to pass the time, like cards, books, or a pocket Wi-Fi!!

When our names were finally called and we got our name stickers, the instructor helped us put on our gear!! Since we had requested photos and videos, after getting suited up, another instructor took lots of pictures and did interviews with us!

Then, it was time to board the Cessna!! (O_O) It took about five minutes to reach our destination! From there, we just jumped one after another!

At that moment, the excitement was at its peak!! When we jumped out, the view was breathtaking! I couldn't even think about anything else and just kept shouting "Waaahhh!" during the free fall!! Out of nowhere, a cameraman appeared and took photos and videos of us!!

The free fall was over in an instant, but my feeling was, "Ahh, I'm alive!" It was so moving!

If you're someone who usually gets motion sickness, I definitely recommend taking motion sickness medication or bringing some with you. During the free fall, the instructor spins you around quite fast to make it fun! (If you're prone to motion sickness, this could be tough.) My sister was a bit anxious and asked the instructor not to spin too much at the beginning! The instructors were really kind, so if you talk to them in advance, they'll accommodate your requests! It's definitely best to voice any concerns you have!!

That said, it was truly a great experience, and even after returning to Japan, I've been laughing while watching the DVD!

私たちは、同じバスで来た人たちの中でも最後のグループだったので飛ぶまでに2時間弱待ちました！！一応食べ物は売っていますが、種類はあまり多くないので自分で持って行く方が良いと思います！！

待ち時間の間(トランプ、本、ポケットWi-Fi)などを持って行くのがベストだと思います！！

いざ、自分たちの名前が呼ばれ名前のシールを貼ってもらうと担当のインストラクターの方が器具などを付けてくれます！！私たちは写真とビデオと頼んでいたので、器具を付けた後に別のカメラ担当のインストラクターの方がバシャバシャ写真とインタビューなどを撮ってくれます！

そして、いざセスナに！！(O_O)
セスナに乗って5分程で目的地に着きます！！そこからはただただ順番にバンバン落ちていきます！笑。

もうこの時は興奮度MAXです！！
いざ飛び出ると絶景！絶景！絶景！どこを見ても絶景！なんて余裕はなく、ただただ「うぁーーー！」とフリーフォール中はずっと叫んでいました！！笑。どこからともなくカメラマンさんがやってきて、写真や動画を撮ってくれます！！笑。

フリーフォールは本当にあっという間ですが、私の感想は「ああー生きてる〜〜」という感動でした♡♡！

パラシュートが開いてからは、景色を思う存分楽しみました！！お天気も良く本当に最高でした！！(^ ^)

陸に着いて、最後の感想をカメラマンさんに撮ってもらって終わりです！！

終わってからはインストラクターさんへチップを(個人の箱がある)を入れ、メッセージを書いて！とお願いされた場合は箱の前にあるノートにメッセージを書きます！

写真やビデオと頼んだ方は、飛び終わったらすぐにフロントの前の部屋に行くと、自分の映像や写真が流れています！！後はお会計をして、帰りのバスが出るまで待ちます！！

帰りのバスも爆睡でした！！思った以上に体が疲れていたのかホテルにかえってから私たちは3時間も爆睡してしまいました！！笑。

また帰りのバスの時間も読めないので、スカイダイビングの日はスケジュールに余裕を持った方が良いと思います！！

それから元々三半規管に自信がない方は酔い止めを飲んで行くか、持って行った方が絶対に良いと思います。フリーフォールの時に、インストラクターの方が楽しませてくれようとかなりの速さでぐるぐる回されます！(普段から乗り物などに酔ってしまう方はこれかなりキツイと思います)妹の方は不安だったようで、最初にインストラクターの方に、ぐるぐるはあまりしないで下さい！とお願いしていました！すごく優しいインストラクターの方々なので、事前に話をしておくと配慮してくれますよ！！不安なことは必ず言った方が良いです！！

それにしても本当に良い経験で、日本に帰ってからもDVDを見てゲラゲラ笑っています！＼(^o^)／笑。

I had always wanted to go skydiving when I visited Hawaii, so this was a long-awaited experience for me.

A shuttle picked me up at the hotel, and it took about an hour by car on the highway. I signed the contract in the car, but when I saw the terms, I became anxious thinking, "Is it really this dangerous?!"

First, we watched a DVD for the explanation. The first group jumped relatively quickly, but due to bad weather and many clouds, we waited for about four hours. パラシュートが開いてからは、綺麗な海と空と山をゆっくり眺めながらの飛行でとても気持ちがいいです。

4000メートルの予定でしたが、天候により3800メートルからの落下だったので30ドル帰ってきました。

インストラクターに20ドルのチップ、帰りにドライバーに5ドルのチップを渡しました。

とっても最高の経験になりました！降りた瞬間に、またやりたい！と思い、日本のスカイダイビングを調べたのですが、3万円くらいしたので、200ドル程度で体験できるのはとっても安いと思います。ハワイに来たときは絶対にまた体験したいです！次はカメラマン付きで体験しようと思います。

I would highly recommend taking a glider ride up on the North Shore of Oahu to everyone. It was a bucket list item for me and did not disappoint. Very professional staff and my pilot Sean was exceptional. He let me take the controls for about five minutes of the ride. The views are spectacular. Very affordable and the best 20-30 minutes you will spend in the Islands. Be sure and take a Go Pro camera or do I as did and rent one from the glider folks. I have a great DVD of my entire flight.

The only downside was that the buckle in the crotch area hit my testicles through my pants and it was painful, but overall, the people who jumped with me and the cameraman were cheerful and made it enjoyable.

一人また一人と落ちて行った時はかなり怖かったですが、飛んでからは興奮の方が凄くて、楽しかったです。ただ股の所の留め具がズボン越しに睾丸に当たって痛かったのが唯一の汚点ですが、全体的には一緒に飛んでくれる人もカメラマンも陽気で楽しませてくれました。

After reading this experience, I mustered the courage to sign up, and it was definitely the right decision. Normally, I can't handle roller coasters and I have a fear of heights, but this was completely different. I believe the sense of security I felt came from reading this review, which made me feel no fear at all.

Since I opted for a rental car instead of shuttle service, I arrived after 9 AM and found that the group with shuttle service had already arrived, so I had to wait until about 10:30 for my dive. During that time, we only watched a simple DVD, which might seem a bit lackluster, but I knew from this review that such a level of knowledge was sufficient, so I didn't feel anxious.

When it was finally my turn to board the plane and dive, I was filled with excitement. Since I was last in line on the plane, I had the chance to enjoy the scenery and watch others jump out. At the moment of the dive, I was instructed to lift my chin and was pushed back, so I didn't look down when I jumped. I didn't feel the fear of jumping into empty space; it felt like an immediate experience of weightlessness from free-falling.

この安心感もほぼこの体験談を読んでいたことで、全く恐怖感を感じなかったからだと思います。

送迎なしにしてレンタカーで行きましたので、9時過ぎに到着し、既にバス送迎付組が到着していたので、その後でのダイブとなりましから10時半ごろまで待ちました。
その間簡単なDVDを見るだけでしたので、いい加減に感じるところかもしれませんが
この体験談で、そんな知識レベルで十分であることを知っていましたので、不安に感じませんでした。

いざ順番になり飛行機に乗り込みダイブするまで、どちらかというとワクワク感でいっぱいでした。その機内での順番が最後だったので、ゆっくり景色を見たり、どんどん飛び出していくのを見てからでした。ダイブの瞬間は顎を上にあげるようにと、おでこを後ろに押されるので、下を見ていない瞬間に飛び出すので、何もない空間に飛び出す恐怖も感じることはなく、いきなりフリーフォールによる無重力体験のようでした。

追加オプションでDVDと写真を申し込んだのですが、残念ながらその写真が全く撮れていなかったので★を1つマイナスとしました。
また、そのカメラマンがフリーフォール中に近づいてきて、しばらくの間手をつないでくるのですが、そのことで周りの景色が見れなかったのも少し残念です。

パラシュートを開いてからは、景色を見せるためや、こちらの着地の瞬間を撮影するためにカメラマンを先に着地させる必要があるので、ゆっくりと降下していきます。

おそらく風の強い日だと横揺れがひどいのかもしれませんが、景色のためと少しのスリルのためにローリングしながらの降下というレベルでしたので、乗り物酔いという感覚は出ませんでした。

■チップについて
着地後は、すぐにチップ箱コーナーに連れて行かれ、インストラクター及びカメラマンのところの各人の名前の箱にチップの支払いを促されますが、インストラクターは別として、カメラマンのチップの支払いは、写真とビデオの確認してからでいいと思います。

チップコーナーには連れて行かれますが、すぐにその場を離れていきますので、ゆっくり後からでも支払いはできます。

■レンタカーで行くとすぐに支払完了で帰れますが、バス送迎付組は早く来てもダイブ後は1日1回の12時過ぎのワイキキ方面バスが出るまで退屈そうに待っていました。
時間を有効に使うにはレンタカーで行き、バス送迎付組組到着前の8時半ごろエントリーがベストでないでしょうか。

This was my third time in Hawaii, and I finally got to go skydiving! It was incredibly fun!!!

I filled out the paperwork in the car and then fell asleep until we arrived at the center. Once we got there, we watched a safety video and waited for our turn. When I requested photos, a photographer joined us and started filming even before we jumped. (They can take both photos and videos.)

We took a small plane and went higher than I expected, and then we dropped in an instant. It's a shame that there weren't many photos with me looking at the camera, as I couldn't see where the photographer was. But the guide was definitely looking at the camera, which was funny.

Once the parachute opened, there was a detailed explanation of what we could see, and the beautiful scenery spread out before us.

着いてからは安全に関するビデオを見て、順番を待ちました。
写真を頼むとカメラマンがついて、飛ぶ前からビデオをとってくれます。

ちっちゃい飛行機で思った以上に高いところまでいき
あ！っという間に落ちます。
カメラマンがどこか分からず、カメラ目線の写真が少ないのが残念。
でもガイドのおじちゃまはしっかりカメラ目線でした笑

パラシュートが開いてからはどこに何が見えるのか丁寧な説明もあったり
とにかく綺麗な景色が広がります。

着陸してからは順番にビデオの上映がされるので映像を待ち、友達と爆笑。
映像を確認してから、やっぱりビデオも買う！とできるようです。
（でも結局写真だけにしました）

12時にならないと帰りのバズが出ないので待ち時間はかなりありますが
ほかの人が飛んでいったり、降りてくるのを見ているのも楽しいです♪

また行く機会があれば、ぜひ参加したいです！

It's simply wonderful!! I wasn't scared at all. Even those who are afraid of heights will have their fears blown away by the amazing views. The scenery is truly breathtaking, and it liberates both body and mind; it was the best experience of my life.

Also, the instructors (Montana) and the photographer (Maynard) on the day were very friendly and reliable. The staff worked well as a team. The Japanese guide was also kind.

The photos and videos are truly fantastic, so I definitely recommend purchasing them as a package for those who will be flying. I did it with my husband! He was more scared than I was, but after he jumped, he had a pretty relaxed expression. By the way, my husband was only comfortable with Disney's roller coasters, but I forced him to do this, haha. For me, Fujiyama is the scariest attraction I've ever been on. It was so funky and turned out to be an amazing memory!! It's much cheaper than doing it in Japan, so I highly recommend it!!

③契約書に注意。飛ぶ前に、死んでも一切文句言わない、などのかなり主催者だけ都合いい契約書にサインさせられ、しないと飛べない。その事はツアー内容に情報が全くなく、現地でしか分からない。もし事故が運営側でミスあった場合でも責任放棄の一方的内容。しかもサインした書面控えはこちらに渡されない。参加者の職業が弁護士なら、必ず現地で体験を諦めるであろう。
④チップ高すぎ。ツアー費用以外に一緒に飛んでくれる方だけでなく、頼んでいないカメラマン、パイロットと各20ドル合計60ドル支払を必須求められる。チップは任意支払ではないのか？

参加者は9割20歳前半未満の日本人、私は49歳で珍しく、ダイビングより契約書内容が怖かった。

帰りのバスは12時30分ごろワイキキに向けて出発、13時40分ごろにはワイキキに到着していました。

何かしらの暇つぶしを持って行くことをおすすめします。飛行場には無料のWi-Fiスポットはなさそうでした。

気持ち悪いとおもったけど、目下の絶景に息を呑みました。
ハワイで体験できてよかったなって思った。
空も海も緑も、自然て本当にきれいだなと感じました。

写真だけ購入しました。
高かったから動画はケチってしまったけれど、購入すればよかったかなと帰国してからちょっと後悔(*^_^*)だってめちゃ高いんだもん！写真と動画で180＄。


コンタクトレンズが飛ぶって聞いたことがあったので持っていきました。ゴーグルの仕方があまかったのか、左目だけどこかへ消えました。

The diving center mentioned that they only spoke English, but there was a Japanese person at Pacific Skydiving, so I was able to communicate in Japanese.

On the day of the jump, I was picked up from my hotel in Waikiki, and after about an hour on the highway, we arrived at the site. We ended up on the opposite side of Oahu, which was surprisingly far away (laughs).

The check-in process went relatively quickly, but the waiting time until the jump was tough…!!

About 15 Japanese people came on the same bus. There were also other foreigners waiting at the site. The Japanese participants were taken in pairs. The Cessna planes flew roughly every hour, so I ended up sitting on a bench waiting for about 5 hours during the queue.

ダイビングセンターへの問合せは「英語のみ」と書かれてましたが、パシフィックスカイダイビングには日本人の方います。日本語でお願いできました。

そして当日。
ワイキキ中心のホテルでピックアップしてもらいましたが、高速道路へ乗って現場へ向かうこと約一時間…
オアフ島の反対側まで来ました。
案外遠いとこに連れてこられて、あぁ(笑)

手続きは割りと早めに終わりましたが、そこから飛ぶまでの時間が大変です…！！

日本人は15名くらい同じバスで来ました。現地では他の外国人の方も待っています。
日本人は二人ずつくらい乗せられて行きます。
ざっくり、1時間1本ペースでセスナが飛んだので、順番待ちの段階で5時間くらいひたすらベンチで座って待ちました。

ここでなんと、雲が出てきて飛べないと言うことで運転見合せに。。。

まだ7人くらい残ってましたが、
「この後天候が回復して飛べる保証はないけど、待ちますか？それとも終わった人と帰りますか？」
そんな選択を迫られることに…！

わた私はここまで待ったんだから諦められず「待ちます」といいましたが…
帰る方もいらっしゃいました。
天候だけはどうにもならないということです…(^_^;)

そこからさらに１時間位待ってGoサイン出ました！

待ち時間、約7時間！(^_^;)

私はカメラマン同行だったので、飛ぶ前の意気込み撮影などをサクサクやって、セスナに乗り込みました。

とびだしたら一瞬です！…！

てでも素晴らしい景色を見れました！
海も陸も美しい！！

とにかく落下、楽しみましたよ～(^o^)

あとは、
パラシュートを開いあと、私は酔いそうでした…まっすぐ降下してる時と違って横揺れするので…遊園地のバイキング状態です。
念のため、酔い止め飲んでいって良かったです…(^_^;)

で、結局ホテルに帰ってくるまで10時間くらい掛かってしまったんですかね。
１日かかっちゃいました(^_^;)
彼がホテルで待っていたので、心配掛けました。
他にも、次の予定があるけど連絡がとれないからどうしよう、等と言ってる方も居ました。

スカイダイビングはほんとに素晴らしいです…！
恐怖感よりもダイナミックな経験ができる凄さとか、景色に、感動します！！

ただ、天候に左右されたりするので、この後に予定など入れられる方は気をつけた方がいいと思います(^_^;)

I had run out of ideas for activities in Hawaii for this trip. Just before the departure date, I discovered this plan! Once I found it, I really wanted to try it, so I signed up immediately! This was my first skydiving experience after turning 40.

First, the staff member on the bus across from us, I really liked him. His stories were so unique that I gradually lost my sense of fear.

Honestly, I was quite nervous.

Since it was tandem, I just went with the flow, but as mentioned in other experiences, the first seven seconds felt like I was going to die. Once I went into a dive, my mouth went "Gua!" and after the parachute opened, it felt amazing.

I think it would be tough to jump alone, but I also had a desire for freedom.

The magnificent scenery of Hawaii surely takes away your anxiety. I used to love extreme activities, but recently I've been scared of flying.

Skydiving was amazing! The panoramic view of Hawaii from above was incredibly beautiful! The diver was kind and made me feel safe, so I had no worries at all! I definitely want to do this again when I come back to Hawaii!
The shuttle car was quite bumpy, so be careful if you get motion sickness...
Also, the time between jumping and the shuttle pickup was long, so I recommend bringing some snacks!
The scenery was truly breathtaking!

I participated alone.
