Can’t wait for my next trip to Oahu so I can do it again! Flew with you about ten years ago and have great memories of that experience, but appreciated and enjoyed this flight so much more! Maybe we do just appreciate some life experiences so much more as we get older? I knew from experience, that I would enjoy another glider ride, but my girlfriend had no concept or idea what to expect. She was totally blown away and in awe that the pilot could keep us in the air for that length of time “with no engine to supply the power”!…..she thinks you’re an absolute genius that could perform that incredible feat!
Thank you so much for the wonderful experience. Your entire staff was so friendly and obviously love what they do. Thanks again…I highly recommend your glider experience to anyone who is even remotely interested in the fun of flight.

【What I Want to Convey First】
- It's better to schedule this for the first half of your trip (due to potential delays from weather conditions).
- Morning slots are preferable.
(I had booked a 1 PM slot, but due to weather conditions, the jumps were halted in the morning. By the time they resumed, the morning slots were already fully booked, and I received a cancellation notice without even going to the site.)
- If you're unsure, you should definitely experience it.

【Flow of the Day】
Around 10 AM, I received a cancellation notice due to bad weather. They informed me that the same slot was available the next day, so I rescheduled.

The next day, I was picked up from my hotel in Waikiki and traveled by tour bus to Waialua (about an hour). Upon arrival, I first checked in using a tablet. I entered my reservation number, name, address, emergency contact, and consent form. (Everything is in English, but a translation app can help with that.) The Japanese staff at the reception explained that due to clouds above, they weren't sure if we could fly. After waiting for about an hour, the weather improved, and those waiting began to prepare. After about two hours from check-in, my name was called by the instructor, and I stored my belongings in a locker to get ready. (I couldn't understand much of the explanation since it was in English, but I managed with determination and gestures.) I boarded a small plane and dove from 4,000 meters above. After landing, the instructor provided me with a certificate and took some photos, and that was the end of it. In total, it took about six hours from leaving the hotel to returning.

【Impressions】
I only felt scared when jumping out of the plane, but that was just at the beginning. The wind felt amazing, and the view from 4,000 meters above is indescribable.

【最初にお伝えしたいこと】
・旅の前半に予定しておいた方が良い（天候等の影響で延期等がある）
・枠は午前中の方が良い
　（自分は13時枠で予約していましたが、午前中に天候の影響でジャンプがストップしてしまい、
　 再開する時に既に午前枠の人でスケジュール的に埋まってしまったそうなので、
　 現地にも行くことなくキャンセルの連絡が来ました）
・迷ってるんだったら体験するべき

【当日の流れ】
10時ごろ、悪天候のためキャンセルの連絡が来る。
翌日の同じ枠なら空いているとのことで、翌日に変更してもらう。

翌日、ワイキキのホテルに迎えに来てもらい、ツアーバスでワイアルアまで移動（約1時間）
現地に着き、まずタブレットで受付。
予約番号、氏名、住所、緊急連絡先、同意書を入力する。
（全て英語表記ですが、翻訳アプリでどうにかなります）
受付にいる日本人のスタッフより上空に雲が広がっているため、飛べるかどうか分からないと説明を受ける。
1時間ほど待っていると上空の雲行きが良くなり、待機していた人たちが準備をし始める。
受付から約2時間くらい経過し、インストラクターから名前が呼ばれ、
荷物をロッカーに入れて準備を開始する。
（ここの説明は英語のためほとんど理解できず、気合いとジェスチャーで乗り切る）
小型飛行機に乗り込み、上空4,000mからダイブ。
着地後、インストラクターの方から証明書と写真を撮ってもらい終了。
結局、ホテル出発から戻ってくるまで約6時間かかりました。

【感想】
飛行機から落ちる時だけ怖さを感じましたが、最初だけでした。
とても風が気持ちよく、上空4,000mから見下ろす景色は言葉では言い表せない物があります。

Actually, on the scheduled day of participation, the small plane couldn't fly, so I waited for six hours on-site and then returned to the hotel. I rescheduled and participated again. It was definitely worth it to go through all that. As soon as I jumped out of the plane, it felt like I was flying in the sky; the sensation was exhilarating. Perhaps due to the wind resistance, it felt more like flying than falling, and it was undoubtedly the best experience. The moment I returned to the ground, I wanted to do it again.

実は参加予定日に小型飛行機が飛べず現地で６時間待って、ホテルに戻りました。再度リスケして参加。そこまでしても参加する価値ありです。飛行機から飛び出すとまるで空を飛んでるような爽快感です。風の抵抗があるからか落下しているというより飛んでいる感覚で、間違いなく最高です。地上に戻った瞬間、またやりたくなりました。

After deciding to go skydiving, I was excited for three months. I got stuck on the application details regarding the requirement to understand English and to be able to climb up and down a 70-80 cm platform without using my hands. However, after reading everyone's experiences, I learned that many Japanese participants were there, so it seemed like we could consult each other or use broken Japanese to communicate.

On the day of the jump, I woke up at 5 AM, had a light breakfast, and waited at the designated spot at 6:40 AM when the Go Jump van arrived. It picked up about ten people from three hotels in the Waikiki area, but it seemed I was the only Japanese participant.

We arrived at the airport after about an hour. At the reception, they checked our passports and entered our information on a tablet. They asked for our name, address, phone number, and weight in pounds. We also had to provide an emergency contact's phone number, name, and relationship, and check the liability waiver. Since I didn't understand English, I used my smartphone's translation feature.

There were two places to sign, and it was okay to use either kanji or romaji. Once I finished entering my information, they provided information about optional upgrades at the reception. They offered a Japanese display for an upgrade to 18,000 feet, which I declined. The fuel surcharge of $15 could be paid in cash or by credit card. After that, I waited until my name was called.

The people who came in the same van were getting fitted with harnesses. The driver checked the schedule and informed us that we would be on the next flight. We stored our belongings in lockers, saying goodbye to the smartphone translation feature.

The instructor fitted my harness and gave a brief explanation. If I didn't understand English, they would explain using broken Japanese or gestures. A female photographer boosted our spirits while taking pictures.

As I sat on a bench outside, the previous jumpers came down. It was finally time to board. As the last ones to get on, we sat on the floor, and the instructor secured us closely together with clicks. They tightened the harness and had us hold it next to our chest. We were ready.

We were supposed to jump on the count of 1, 2, 3, go, but I couldn't hear anything over the sound of the wind, and before I knew it, I was flying through the air. I usually feel scared at high places, but I didn't feel scared at all here. There was no discomfort like on roller coasters or elevators; I was just resisting the wind.

When I was tapped on the shoulder and told to spread my arms, I was in a sort of arching position. I posed with the photographer using peace signs and shaka signs.

Suddenly, I felt a G-force as the parachute opened. I enjoyed the view of the Hawaiian sea and mountains as we returned to the airport. For landing, I lifted my legs, and we landed softly.

I had taken motion sickness medication beforehand, but I felt refreshed without any nausea. It was a great success.

While waiting inside the building, the instructor handed me a certificate, an eco-bag, and a pen. At this time, there was an envelope for tips with the names of the instructor and photographer written on it. I put cash in for each and placed it in a transparent box that looked like a donation box.

I got ready to take my belongings home. The shop sold T-shirts, sweatshirts, hats, etc., but I was disappointed that I couldn't buy anything since the shuttle was waiting.

It seemed the driver could send the photos he took directly to an iPhone, but since I had an Android, that wasn't an option for me... After another hour, we returned to Waikiki. We arrived at the hotel just after 11 AM, and I gave the driver a tip when I got out of the car.

スカイダイビングを決めてから3ヶ月ワクワクドキドキ。申し込みの注意事項で英語を理解できる、70-80cmの台に手を使わずに昇り降りできるの項目で引っかかりました。そこで皆様の体験談を読んで英語は日本人の参加が多いので、相談し合ったとか、カタコトの日本語を使ってもらったり何とかなりそうです。
当日は朝5時に起きて軽く朝食を食べ、6:40指定場所で待っているとGo Jumpの車が来てくれました。ワイキキエリアで3箇所のホテルを周り約10人が乗り込みましたが、日本人は私一人のようです。
約1時間かけて飛行場に着きました。受付でパスポートの確認があり、タブレットで入力していきます。名前、住所、電話番号、体重はポンド表記です。緊急連絡先の電話、名前、続柄を入力して、免責事項にチェックします。英語が分からないのでスマホの翻訳機能を使いました。
サインが2箇所あり、漢字でもローマ字でもOKです。
入力終わると受付でオプションの案内があります。日本語表示をしてもらって18000feetにしませんかというもので断りました。燃油サーチャージの15$は現金かクレジット払いです。終わると奥で名前が呼ばれるまで待います。
同じ車で来た人達はそれぞれハーネスを付けてもらっていました。ドライバーさんが予定表を確認して次のフライトになること教えてくれました。
荷物はロッカーに入れます。スマホの翻訳機能とはお別れです。
担当インストラクターさんがハーネスを付けてくれ、簡単な説明をしてくれます。英語が分からないとカタコトの日本語やジェスチャーで説明してくれます。
女性カメラマンが写真を撮りながらテンション上げてくれました。
外のベンチに座っていると前の人たちが降りてきました。
いよいよ搭乗です。最後に乗り込んだ私たちは床に座り、インストラクターさんがカチッカチッと2人を密着させていきます。ハーネスもしっかり締め直して胸の横でハーネスを握ります。準備完了です。
1.2.3.goで飛ぶはずでしたが、風の音で全く聞こえず、気づけば空を飛んでいました。普段高い所は怖いですが、ここでは怖さはなかったです。ジェットコースターや、エレベーターのような不快感も全くありません。ただ、風の抵抗の耐えているだけです。
肩を叩かれて両手を広げると海老反り状態です。カメラマンさんともピースやシャカでポーズします。
しばらくすると突然Gがかかります。パラシュートが開いたのです。ハワイの海や山を堪能しながら飛行場へ帰ります。着地は両足を上げてるとフワッと着地しました。
前もって酔い止め薬を飲んでいましたが、酔うことなく爽快でした。大成功です。
建物内で待っているとインストラクターさんが証明書とエコバッグ、ボールペンなどを渡してくれました。この時にチップを入れる封筒にインストラクターさんとカメラマンさんの名前が記入してありました。それぞれに現金で入れて募金箱のような透明の箱に入れます。
荷物を持って帰る用意です。お店にはTシャツやトレーナー、帽子等売っていましたが送迎車が待っていたので買えなかっまたのが残念でした。
ドライバーさんが撮ってくれた写真をiPhoneならそのまま送ってくれたようですがAndroidなので…
また1時間かけてワイキキへ戻って来ました。ホテルに着いたのは11時過ぎでした。ドライバーさんには車を降りる時にチップを渡しました。

I had always wanted to try this at least once, so I decided to do it in my favorite place, Hawaii. Since I was at it, I opted for 18,000 feet and added a photographer for a full experience. Rather than worrying about various things in advance, I encourage you to just go and see for yourself. There’s no time to feel scared; breathtaking views that are beyond words await you. The staff is very experienced, so you can trust them completely, and they keep the atmosphere lively throughout the experience.

Most importantly, they took a lot of photos and videos during the pre-interview, and I even received them on the way back, which I really appreciated. After returning home, I found myself reminiscing about it many times, and it made for great stories to share with others! I also received discount coupons for my next visit, so I hope to catch a rainbow or sunset at the right time someday!

一度は挑戦してみたいと思っていたので、せっかくなら大好きなハワイでと決めていました。

帰国した後も何度も身返し、周囲へも良い土産話になりました！

I tend to get motion sickness easily, so I took some anti-nausea medication before the challenge. I requested the instructor not to spin, but unnecessary spinning was repeated, and I started to feel unwell.

酔いやすいタイプのため酔い止めを服用してチャレンジしました。
インストラクターに回転させないようにリクエストしましたが、不必要な回転を繰り返され気分が悪くなりました。

The scenery I experienced was incredible, something I had never seen before. I got to see Oahu and the ocean from above! After becoming a parachutist, I had fun spinning around to the right and left, and I felt a bit dizzy. During the descent, my ears hurt due to the pressure change!

I'm not fluent in English, but they used a translation app during check-in, and the explanations weren't difficult to understand.

Perhaps because it was the weekend, I received an email saying that the morning pickup would be delayed by about 45 minutes due to traffic, and it actually arrived 45 minutes late. It said the participation time was 4-5 hours, but from gathering to returning, it took about 6 and a half hours. I had anticipated something like that in advance, so it wasn't a problem at all.

The instructor was also a fun person, and there were many participants from Japan, creating a lively and enjoyable atmosphere!

体験したことのない景色素晴らしかったです。
オアフ島と海を上から見ました！パラシュートになってから、右に左に楽しくぐるぐる回り、少し酔いました。落下時、気圧で耳が痛いです！
英語堪能ではないですが、チェックインでも翻訳アプリを使ってもらえて、説明も難しいことはなかったです。
土日だったからか、朝、送迎が渋滞で45分ほど遅れるとメールが来て、実際に45分遅れで来ました。参加時間は4-5時間と書いてありましたが、集合から帰着まで6時間半ほど。あらかじめそんなものかなと思っていたので、特に問題ありませんでした。
インストラクターも面白い方で、日本からの参加の方も多く、雰囲気よくわいわい楽しみました！

I participated with my son, and neither of us speaks any English at all. However, the staff communicated cheerfully and clearly, so we managed just fine.

1. We were picked up by a van behind the Hyatt Regency. Besides us, there was one couple and one solo participant each of a man and a woman. We arrived at the skydiving airfield in about an hour.

2. After getting off the van, we headed to the check-in counter. There were about eight tablets for registration, and everything was in English, so we used our smartphones to check the content with the translation feature. The key points included:
- Acknowledgment that skydiving is dangerous.
- Agreement to follow the instructor's instructions.
- Acceptance of personal responsibility in case of an accident.
We had to agree to all of this to proceed, so we accepted everything.

3. After checking everything and signing, we moved to the staffed counter. There was a staff member who spoke Japanese, but we chose to communicate with the English-only staff. Here, we were asked if we wanted to add any options. Regardless of options, we had to pay a fuel surcharge of $15 per person. Payment could be made by card or cash (by the way, there was also an ATM available).

4. We received papers to hand to the instructor and the cameraman and then moved to the waiting area. Our names and the instructor's name were displayed on the monitor. After a while, the instructor greeted us cheerfully and explained the important points:
- Grab the harness at the moment of jumping (imagine wearing a backpack).
- While falling, arch your back like a banana. "Banana!" is the catchphrase.
- When your shoulder is tapped, spread your arms.
- For parachute landing, lift your legs, or rather your knees, up.
Although everything was in English, responding with "Yes! OK! Good!" was sufficient.

5. Then we waited for the plane, boarded in order, and took off into the sky. It was a bit chilly up there, but I didn't mind due to the excitement and nervousness.

6. Inside the plane, I connected my harness to the instructor's and put on goggles. When it was my turn, I moved to the opening and jumped on the count of 3, 2, 1. In an instant, I was in free fall, headfirst. After that, I arched my back for stable free fall and enjoyed the view with my arms spread wide.

7. Then the parachute opened. At this point, I felt a sudden increase in G-force and experienced sharp turns, which made me feel a bit dizzy. While battling the dizziness, I enjoyed the scenery, and as we got closer to the ground, I lifted my knees for landing. I was surprised at how suddenly we landed.

8. After landing, we returned to the waiting area, where the instructor gave us:
- A skydiving certificate
- A commemorative eco bag
- Two envelopes for tips (one for the instructor and one for the cameraman)
We put $10 to $20 per person in the envelopes and dropped them in a transparent box, and that was it.

9. We got back into the van that picked us up and returned to Waikiki. When we got out of the van, the driver asked, "Is your smartphone an iPhone?" and said, "If it's an iPhone, I'll send you the video via AirDrop." He filmed us getting on the Cessna and coming down with the parachute and gifted us the footage! We were so thrilled. I gave the driver a $10 tip, and that was the end of it.

10. On the same day, photos and videos were sent to the registered email address. There were over 100 photos, so we had plenty of great moments to choose from. The video was edited, so we could enjoy it right away.

Although it cost money for two people, choosing the option with the cameraman was definitely the right decision! Being able to look back at myself in free fall multiple times is the best!!!

　　全部英語なので、スマホで翻訳機能を使いながら内容チェック
　　・スカイダイビングが危険であると承知している
　　・インストラクターの指示に従う
　　・事故があっても自己責任
　　というような内容。いずれにしても承諾しないと進めないので全部OK
３，全てにチェックしてサインしたら次は有人カウンターへ
　　日本語が話せるスタッフがいましたが、我々は英語オンリーのスタッフへ
　　そこで、オプションを追加するか？しなければ
　　オプションとは別に燃料サーチャージ＠15＄/人を支払います
　　カードでも現金でもOKでした（ちなみにATMもありました）
４，インストラクターに渡す紙とカメラマンに渡す紙を受け取って待合所へ移動
　　モニター画面に自分の名前、インストラクター名が表示されます
　　しばらく待っていると インストラクターに声を掛けられ挨拶（陽気です笑）
　　そして 注意事項の説明
　　・飛ぶ瞬間は ハーネスをつかむ（リュックを背負うイメージ）
　　・落ちてる間はバナナのようにエビ反る。「バナナ～！」が合言葉
　　・肩をポンポン叩いたら　手を拡げてOK
　　・パラシュート着地の時は　足、というより膝から全体を上げる
　　これもすべて英語ですが、イエス！ＯＫ！グッド！の３つで大丈夫でした
５，あとは飛行機を待って、順番に乗り込み 空高くGO
　　上空は少し肌寒いですが、期待と緊張で気になりませんでした
６，飛行機の中で インストラクターと自分のハーネスを接続。ゴーグル装着。
　　自分の順番がきたら開口部へ移動して ３・２・１の合図でJUMP
　　あっという間に 真っ逆さまの自由落下
　　そこからエビ反り 安定した自由落下、手を拡げて景色を楽しみます
７，そして パラシュートが開く。
　　ここから急激にGがかかり さらに急旋回してくれるので一気に酔います笑
　　あとは酔いとの戦いの中、景色を楽しみ、地上が近づいてきたら 膝を上げて
　　一気に着地（え、こんなに急に着地するんだ。と驚きました）
８，着地後は待合所に戻り、インストラクターから
　　・スカイダイビング証明書
　　・記念のエコバック
　　・チップを入れる封筒（インストラクター用とカメラマン用）２通
　　を受け取ります
　　封筒にチップ各10～20＄/名を入れて透明のBOXに入れたらおしまい
９，迎えにきてくれたワゴンに乗り込み、ワイキキまで戻ります
　　ワゴンを降りるときに、運転手から　「スマホはiPhoneか？」と訊かれ
　　「iPhoneだったら AirDropで動画を送るよ」と
　　私たちがセスナに乗り込むところ、パラシュートで降りてくるところを
　　撮影してくれててプレゼントしてくれました！大感激です
　　運転手にチップ10＄渡して 終了
１０，当日中に、登録したメールアドレス宛に 写真と動画が送られてきます
　　写真は100枚以上あるので 良い瞬間も選び放題。
　　動画は編集してあるのでそのまま楽しめます。

　　２名分の費用はかかりますが カメラマン撮影付にして大正解でした！
　　自分が自由落下してる姿を客観的に何度も見返せるのは最高です！！！

I am a 58-year-old woman with acrophobia. What does it feel like to jump from above the clouds? I was interested in experiencing something extraordinary, and I thought there might be times in the future when I would want to try it but wouldn't have the physical strength. This led me to experience it with my husband.

When jumping from the Cessna, fear definitely took over, but I realized that my acrophobia didn't matter at all. The instructor communicated with me through reassuring words and gestures, which made me feel at ease and not anxious.

The only trouble I had was with filling out the waiver, as everything was in English. It took some time using my smartphone's translation app, but I managed to get through it without any issues.

One disappointing point was the transportation. While the pickup was at a designated location, I was dropped off at a completely different place. If I had known in advance, I could have prepared for it, but it felt like I was suddenly told to get off here! (There was someone who translated for me, so I understood the situation.) Since it was only the second day after arriving, I was in a "Where am I?" state. Thankfully, I had Google Maps, but it would have been nice to receive prior notice if the drop-off location was going to change.

Aside from the transportation issue, it was a valuable experience, and it was amazing!

高所恐怖症の58歳(女性)です。
雲の上から飛び降りる感覚とは？
非日常を体験したい興味、今後やってみたいと思った時に体力が伴わない場合もあるのでは？と思ったのがきっかけで主人と2人で体験させてもらいました。
セスナから飛び降りる時は、さすがに恐怖が勝ちましたが高所恐怖症は全く関係ないな。と思いました。インストラクターの方が安心できるように声掛けとジェスチャーでコミュニケーションをとって下さったので不安は感じませんでした。
困ったのは誓約書などの入力、全て英語なので大変でしたがスマホの翻訳機を使い時間はかかりましたが問題なくできました。

残念な点は、送迎…迎えは指定された場所なのに、降ろされた場所は全く違う所だったこと。
事前に分かっていれば対応できたのですが、急にここで降りて！！みたいな感じで降ろされました。(通訳してくださった方が居たので理解できた状況)
着いて2日目だったこともあり、ここ何処？？状態です。Googleマップがあったのでなんとかなるものの、送迎の場所が変わるのであれば事前にお知らせがあると良かったなと思いました。
送迎の事以外は貴重な経験が出来てサイコーです。

I was fitted with a harness by the instructor, while other instructors were taking photos in front of the sign and communicating. However, when they realized I was Japanese and couldn't speak much English, they quickly went behind the scenes and didn't come out again.

As others moved, we headed to the waiting area before boarding the plane. The instructor arrived late and took photos in front of the outdoor sign. After that, we waited for boarding, during which a GoPro was recording, resulting in 1,659 images sent to us that were mostly irrelevant. Two-thirds of the total images were just random shots taken without permission.

I understand that the energy levels vary among instructors, but if the images are just for counting, I don't need them. The data was downloaded without consent.

At the reception, there was a Japanese woman who was reassuring and attentive, which made me feel at ease.

Overall, it was a valuable experience that is hard to come by.

インストラクターにハーネスを着けてもらい、他のインストラクターは、看板前で撮影等して、コミュニケーションをしていたが、日本人で英語がそれぼど話せないと分かると、すぐ裏へ帰り出て来ない。
他の人達が移動するので飛行機搭乗前の待機場へ移動すると、遅れてインストラクターが来て、外の看板前で撮影。その後、飛行機搭乗まで待機しているが、その間GoPro回っていて、送られた画像1659枚がその時のどうでもいい画像。トータル三分のニの画像が、無断な数合わせの画像でした。
インストラクターによって、テンションが違うのは、分かるが数合わせの画像なら、いらない。データダウンロードの無断です。

受け付けには、日本人女性がいらっしゃて、安心、親身に対応して、いただきました。

体験としては、なかなか体験出来ない貴重な体験をさせていただきました。

My first skydiving experience in my life! It was a bit scary, but more than that, I felt the wind of Hawaii and felt like I became a bird. It was an absolutely amazing feeling!

人生初のスカイダイビング！　ちょっと怖かったですが、それよりもハワイの風を感じて鳥になった気分になれて、最高に気持ちよかったです！

Even though I took motion sickness medication, I still felt nauseous and ended up vomiting after landing. Also, because of the rapid descent, I didn't have the chance to equalize my ears, and they became extremely painful. I couldn't even enjoy the scenery and ended up forgetting about it, so I recommend buying the video, even though it's expensive.

酔い止めを飲んでも酔って地上に降りてから吐きました。また、急降下するので耳抜きをする余裕もなく、めちゃくちゃ耳が痛くなります。景色を楽しむ余裕もなく忘れてしまうので、高いですが動画を買うのをおすすめします。

My 18-year-old son had an experience. At first, he seemed nervous, but from the moment he jumped, he was smiling the whole time and said it was a wonderful experience. My First Skydiving Experience
I was really nervous before jumping, but while I was flying, the exhilaration was incredible; it was truly the best!

飛び出す前はドキドキでしたが、飛んでいる時は爽快感がすごく、本当に最高でした！

The instructors were all kind and many of them were interesting. The sea, mountains, and islands looked beautiful from above, and I was truly moved.

インストラクターさんもみんな優しく、面白い方が多い印象でした。上空から見る海、山、島どれも綺麗で感動しかなかったです。

I had some trouble with the initial input process, but there was someone at the reception who spoke Japanese, so I was able to complete the procedures somehow.

27 years ago, when I went skydiving in Hawaii, it was really exhilarating, but this time, both my spouse and I started to feel dizzy during the freefall and experienced a bit of motion sickness. My buddy was very kind and made me feel safe during the dive, but the spinning in the air was quite tough.

We felt our age a bit and couldn't enjoy it as much, but it turned out to be a good experience for the second time.

27年前にハワイでスカイダイビングした時は、とってもだの覚めたのですが、今回は、夫婦共にダイブ後の空中遊泳中に目が回り始めてしまい、やや乗り物酔いをしてしまいました。バディは、とっても親切で安心してダイブできたのですが、くるくる空中遊泳は、辛かったでした。
私たちは、老いを感じ少し楽しめませんでしたが、2度目の良い重艶になりました。

It was so much fun, and I'm really glad I did it! For those who are hesitating, you absolutely should experience it! ✨ A few years ago, I couldn't do it, and it had been on my mind ever since. So, during this trip to Hawaii, I decided that no matter what, I would go skydiving!

At 6:40 AM, a shuttle arrived to pick us up in Waikiki. After stopping at two locations, there were a total of 10 of us in the van. We arrived at the site in about an hour. There were various languages being spoken in the van, which added to the experience (Japanese, Chinese, American).

Upon arrival, we checked in and entered the necessary information on an iPad. Once that was done, we waited on a bench. *I got bitten by a bug during this time, so it might be good to have something like Muhi (anti-itch cream) on hand.

When it was our turn, my name was displayed on a board, and the instructor helped me put on the gear. The person assisting me would be the one jumping with me. I was worried because I didn't understand English well, but the instructors are used to dealing with Japanese participants, so it was fine.

After that, we boarded the Cessna and went up into the sky. I enjoyed the view while waiting excitedly for the moment 💓. After that, I just had to trust the instructor and jump together. Make sure to keep your eyes open and enjoy the beautiful sky and ocean of Hawaii! ✨ After the parachute opens, they will even teach you a bit about steering.

I recommend taking photos and videos (I keep looking back at them with nostalgia). I was surprised that the instructor was wearing sandals, but since they are experienced, I felt safe until landing (*•̀ᴗ•́*)👍. Once everyone had completed their dives, they took us back to Waikiki.

We arrived at the hotel around 11:40 AM, so it felt like we spent the whole morning on this adventure. I hope everyone gets to have a fun experience too! ✨

数年前に訪れた時、やれなかったのがずっと心残りで、今回のHawaii旅行では何がなんでもスカイダイビングはやろう！と決めて参加しました。
その際、ベルトラの体験談がとても参考になったので、どなたかの参考になれば幸いです。

6時40分にワイキキへ送迎車が来てくれました。その後2箇所経由してバンには計10名で乗り合わせ。1時間ほどで現地に着きました。車内では色んな言葉が飛び交っておりこれも良い体験になりましたw(日本人、中国人、アメリカ人)
到着後、受付し、iPadで必要事項の入力。終わったらベンチがあるのでそこで待機。
※この時虫に刺されました💦【ムヒ】などあると良いでしょう。

順番になると掲示板に自分の名前が表示され、インストラクターの方が器具を装着してくれます。この時対応してくれる方が一緒に飛んでくださる方になります。英語が分からなくて不安でしたが、インストラクターの方も日本人の対応に慣れているので大丈夫です。
その後セスナに乗り込んで上空まで。景色を楽しみながらワクワクドキドキその時を待ちます💓
後はインストラクターに任せて一緒に飛ぶだけ(^^)
目を閉じないように、Hawaiiの綺麗な空と海をちゃんと楽しんでください✨
パラシュートが開いてからは軽く操縦も教えてくれますよ

I've always thought that I wanted to try skydiving at least once in my life, but I was scared. In the end, I went for it and it was so much fun!!! Just thinking about the moment I jumped still makes me shiver, but once I was falling, it was enjoyable, and I got to see so many beautiful views. Also, I feel like I became stronger from the experience, haha. I don't think I'll regret jumping! It's definitely a memory to cherish from Hawaii ♡

My son experienced it. He said the scenery was really beautiful and he had a lot of fun. However, after spinning around and floating, his first words when he got off were, "I feel sick... tears."

I finally challenged myself to the skydiving I've always dreamed of. At first, I was nervous, but once I jumped, I experienced much more airtime than I had imagined, and I was truly moved by the breathtaking views and thrills.

The instructor who guided me was very friendly, and since I got to experience handling the controls, it felt great to not just be "flying," but to really feel like I was "participating" in the experience!

On the day of the jump, there is about a 30-minute wait from arrival until the jump, and another 30 minutes from landing until you leave, so it's a good idea to bring a mobile charger.

Regarding tips, there was a suggested amount written on the envelope given at the end, so I used that as a reference when I gave my tip.

It does take a bit of courage, but the unforgettable experience is worth it, so I highly recommend it for anyone looking to create special memories in Hawaii.

ずっと憧れていた念願のスカイダイビングに挑戦しました。
最初は緊張しましたが、いざ飛んでみると想像以上に滞空時間があり、景色もスリルも存分に楽しめて本当に感動しました。

担当してくれたインストラクターさんはとてもフレンドリーで、ハンドル操作を体験させてくれたこともあり、ただ飛ぶだけでなく「参加している」感覚が良かったです！

当日は到着してから飛ぶまで、また着地してから帰るまでにそれぞれ30分ほど待ち時間があるので、モバイル充電器を持っていった方がいいです。

チップについては、最後に渡される封筒に目安金額が記載されていたので、それを参考にしてお渡ししました。

少し勇気は要りますが、それ以上に忘れられない体験ができるので、ハワイで特別な思い出を作りたい方にはぜひおすすめしたいです。

It was truly amazing! If you're hesitating, definitely give it a try. It's not at a height that would be scary even for those with a fear of heights, so I can't really say. You don't need to understand English to enjoy it! The weather was great on the day, and I was only worried about the motion sickness mentioned in the reviews, but I had no symptoms at all. It was just pure fun!

My first skydiving experience was amazing, as I got to enjoy the breathtaking views of Hawaii from the sky!

I felt no fear at all and was able to fly while being healed by the beautiful sea, sky, and islands of Hawaii, along with the pleasant breeze. There were many Japanese participants, and since we supported each other with any uncertainties, I didn't have to worry about the language barrier.

On the day of the jump, I had the option to choose a higher altitude for the dive when making the payment. After jumping, we descended slowly with the parachute, giving us more floating time than I had imagined, allowing us to thoroughly enjoy the scenery. However, jumping from a higher altitude seems like it would provide an even more exhilarating experience!

I definitely want to try skydiving again!

人生初のスカイダイビング、ハワイの絶景を空から満喫できて最高でした！

恐怖感は一切なく、美しい海と空とハワイの島、心地良い風に癒されながら飛ぶことができました。
日本人の参加者が多く、わからない部分は参加者同士でサポートしてもらいながら準備できたので言語の心配はありませんでした。

当日支払い時にもオプションで飛ぶ高度を上げるか選べました。
飛んでからゆっくりパラシュートで降りていくので、浮遊時間は想像以上よりは長く、じっくり景色を楽しむ事ができますが、高い方がより爽快感が味わえそうです！

ぜひまたスカイダイビングに挑戦したいです！

I have a fear of heights, so I was really nervous when I got on the Cessna and went up into the sky. When it was time to jump, the instructor encouraged me, and before I knew it, I was flying! The view was amazing, absolutely the best!

It's a good idea to take motion sickness medication beforehand, as some people did get sick. As for the instructors, it seems like there can be a mix. We participated as a pair, and one instructor took a lot of photos and was very encouraging, while the other one was a bit cold, haha.

With an instructor, I boarded a Cessna and went diving! The view was just like looking out of the small airplane window, above the clouds. One by one, we took off, and before I knew it, it was my turn! I felt no sense of reality about diving because we were so high up, and then suddenly, we jumped. We dove straight down, spreading our arms and legs into the diving position. Even while descending rapidly, I had plenty of time to enjoy the scenery. After a while, the parachute opened, and we descended gently. I savored the views over the mountains and the ocean. It's something I wouldn't do in Japan, but I found the courage to dive because it was Hawaii. I was filled with anxiety right up until the moment, but I'm glad I did it.

インストラクターとペアで、セスナに乗り込みダイビング！景色は飛行機の小窓からみる景色と同じで雲の上。次々と飛び立ちあっという間に自分の出番！高すぎてこれからダイビングをする実感がないまま一瞬で飛びました。一気に急降下し、手と足を広げてダイビングのあの形に。急降下してても景色を見る余裕は全然ありました。しばらくするとパラシュートが開き、緩やかに下降。山の上、海の上を堪能。日本ではやらないですが、ハワイだからこそやる勇気が出たダイビング。直前まで不安でいっぱいでしたが、やってよかったです。

I was worried after reading the low reviews, but I had a great time. The bus had bad reviews, but the driver was a cheerful guy. We took the bus and checked in upon arrival. The check-in was done on an iPad, but everything was in English, so I used a translation app to input my information. As long as you do the final check and sign properly, it seems like the rest can be done casually. If you accidentally press the home button, you have to start over, so I just kept pressing next.

After that, I received a paper to give to the instructor and waited. During this time, they mentioned a fuel fee of $15 per person and asked if I wanted to take photos or videos. I declined. When my instructor arrived, I received an explanation, but I didn't understand much. Luckily, there was a Japanese staff member who helped translate. The instructions included lifting my chin a bit, holding the harness, raising my legs and arching my back when we jumped, and spreading my arms wide when they tapped my shoulders as a signal to indicate I was ready. For landing, they explained not to extend my legs but to keep them lifted.

Then we waited for the helicopter, and they tried to sell us photos and videos again during that time. They approached me three times, but I declined each time.

Finally, it was time to jump! It was high, and I felt a bit scared, but as long as I screamed while jumping, I was fine. After the parachute opened, I felt really nauseous (I have a weak vestibular system and can't ride attractions like the Harry Potter ride at Universal Studios Japan).

Afterward, I received a certificate of completion and an envelope. I put a tip (I decided on $20) in the envelope and placed it in a clear box to finish up.

Regarding tips for the bus ride back, I noticed some people didn’t give any, but as mentioned in the reviews, when I gave $10, they were very grateful, so I recommend giving a tip.

Since I have a very weak vestibular system, I probably won’t do this again, but I'm glad I chose this place. There are additional costs for sales and payments, but aside from that, everything was good, so I’d rate it 4 stars.

バスの口コミが悪いですが陽気なおじさんでした。バスで向かい、到着後受付をします、iPadで受付ですが全部英語です、翻訳機能使いながら入力していきます、最後のチェックとサインだけしっかりしてあれば他は適当でも大丈夫そう。間違えてホームボタンとか押すと初めからなのでずっとネクスト押し続ける。
それからインストラクターに渡す紙もらって待機になります、その際に燃料費？？が1人15$かかるのと標高高くしませんか？写真動画とりませんか？の営業かけてきます。わたしは断りました。自分のインストラクターがきたら説明を受けます，，何言ってるかさっぱりでしたが日本人のスタッフさんいたので通訳してもらいました。少し顎をあげる、ハーネスを握る、飛んだら足をあげてエビゾリになる、肩をぽんぽん叩かれたら両手広げてOKの合図、着地の時は足を伸ばすんじゃなくて浮かしてって感じの説明です。
あとはヘリくるまで待機、その際にも写真動画の営業かけてきます、計３回かけてきましたが全部断りました。
あとは飛ぶだけです！高くて少しチビりそうでしたが奇声上げながら飛べば大丈夫です。パラシュート開いてからはもう気持ち悪くて無理でした(自分は三半規管弱くてUSJのハリーポッターとか乗れません)
終わったら飛んだ証明書と封筒を渡されます、封筒にチップ(10〜30$わたしは20$にしといた)を入れて透明のBOXにいれて終わりです。
帰りのバス降りるさいのチップですが渡してない人もいましたが口コミにある通り10$渡したらめっちゃ感謝してたのであげてください。
自分は三半規管弱すぎるので2度とすることはないですがここを選んでよかったと思います。
営業と、支払い以外のお金かかるのでそこ以外はよかったので⭐︎4って感じです。

This was my first trip abroad and my first time in Hawaii, and I participated alone!

The shuttle from the Honolulu area was easy to identify, as you can see in the photo! The driver was full of humor, and even though I couldn't speak English, I was able to communicate with him.

Upon arrival, we first checked in using a tablet, and then there was a fitting for the specialized equipment and a briefing about diving.

We took a propeller plane up to an altitude of 4000-5000 meters, so I wouldn't recommend wearing short sleeves and shorts if you're sensitive to the cold or not feeling 100%.

We started the dive with a countdown of 3.2.1.Go. We swung our bodies to the left and right during the countdown, and I really liked the speedy countdown, which felt like piston transport! Even if they were asked if they were ready and still said "No," some people were half-forced to say "Yes" and dive anyway.

During the dive, we descended from above the clouds towards the ground, so the unique gravity, wind, and visibility might be challenging for some. I love activities like this, so I wasn't scared or nervous at all, but I recommend trying it at least once for the experience.

It was an incredibly exciting skydiving experience, and I would do it again!

ホノルルエリアから送迎は、
写真のとおり分かりやすい車両でした！
ドライバーがユーモアに溢れた方で、
英語が話せない私でもコミュニケーションをとれるくらいでした。

現地に到着すると、
まずタブレット端末で受付をし
専用器材のサイズ合わせやダイビングに関するレクチャーなどがあります。

プロペラ機で上空4000-5000mまでいくので、寒がりな方や体調が100点でない場合は
半袖ハーパンなどはおすすめしません。

3.2.1.Goのカウントダウンでダイブを開始します。
左右に大きく体を振りながらカウントダウンをするのですが、
ピストン輸送のごとくかなりスピーディなカウントダウンなので私は好きでしたね笑
準備できたか？と聞かれてまだNoだとしても半強制Yesでダイブしていた方もいました

ダイブ中は雲の上から地表に向かっていくので、
独特の重力、風力、視界のため苦手な方もいそうです。
私はこういうアクティビティが大好きなので怖くもなく緊張もしませんでしたが、
経験のために一度は飛んでみることをおすすめします。

非常にエキサイティングなスカイダイビング、また飛びます！笑

This was my first experience with skydiving, and I was truly moved by the breathtaking 360-degree views of the ocean, mountains, and sky on the North Shore. My father, who is in his late 60s, was initially hesitant to participate, but afterward he smiled and said, "It was amazing," which made me really happy. I'm glad we opted for the video footage as well; my mother and wife, who didn't participate, were very pleased with it.

今回がスカイダイビング初体験でしたが、ノースショアの海、山、空が織りなす360度最高の景色に、心から感動しました。
60代後半の父も初めは参加を迷っていましたが、終わった後は「最高だった」と笑顔で、私も嬉しくなりました。
オプションのビデオ映像も付けて良かったです。参加しなかった母と妻がとても喜んでくれました。
