I've always wanted to try skydiving at least once in my life, so I signed up for an optional tour during my trip to Hawaii. (From the moment I signed up until the moment I jumped, a slight sense of anxiety kept bubbling up.) I was looking for places to do it in Japan, but I thought it would be better to have a beautiful view and an authentic experience, so I decided to do it in Hawaii.

Now that I've finished the experience, I truly feel, "I really jumped, I really did it." I thought I might be able to manage a little in Japanese, but it was all in English communication. However, they taught me everything well with gestures, so it was fine.

Since it was tandem, I think it's good to just trust the pilot and embrace the fear and excitement as you jump. I'm really glad I had the experience! I feel like I might want to do it again... which is a bit scary, haha.

人生で一度はスカイダイビングをやってみたいと思い、ハワイ旅行のオプショナルツアーで申し込んでみました。（申し込んでから飛ぶその瞬間まで、うっすらと不安心配が湧き出てきました。）
日本でもできるところを探していましたが、どうせなら綺麗な風景と本格的な体験と思い、ハワイでの実際を決めました。
体験し終わった今、「本当に飛んだんだなぁ、できたんだなぁ」としみじみ感じます。
少しくらいは日本語でいけるかな、と思いましたが完全な英語コミュニケーションでした。でも大体のことはジェスチャー交えてしっかり教えて貰えるので大丈夫でした。
タンデムなので、とにかくパイロットに任せて怖さもドキドキも素直に抱えて飛べると良いと思います。
体験できて本当に良かったです！またやりたい…と思いそうで怖い笑

As someone with a fear of heights, I found that instead of feeling like I was falling, it felt like I was floating, and I wasn't scared at all. Everything was amazing until we landed on the ground.

The staff were kind, and even though we couldn't speak English well, they provided us with great support.

I would love to experience this again the next time I come to Hawaii.

高所恐怖症の自分ですが、落下する感覚では無く、浮いている感覚で全く怖く無かったです。
地上に着地するまですべてが最高でした。

スタッフの方も親切で、英語の出来ない私たちでしたが、しっかりサポートして頂きました。

次回ハワイに来るときも再度体験したいと思います。

The best experience ever! You need to go and jump with #GOJUMP!

It was my first experience diving! I thought I might hesitate and get nervous at the moment of jumping, but thanks to the instructor, I was able to jump without hesitation, and from there, feeling the wind pressure, the view was amazing! I was able to enjoy it even at my age.

飛ぶ瞬間ためらって騒いじゃうかもとか思ってましたが、インストラクターが付いているお陰で躊躇なく飛び出せて、そこからは風圧を感じながら景色は最高！そろそろあら還でも楽しむ事が出来ました。

If you love heights and roller coasters but feel a bit scared, you absolutely have to try this! When you're going down, you can't see below, so it's not scary at all. There are moments when the wind pressure is strong and you might go "whoa," but it's just for an instant! You can enjoy beautiful scenery slowly, and occasionally experience a roller coaster-like rush! If you choose a plan that includes videos and photos, you can enjoy it yourself and share it easily with others. Japanese is hardly understood, so if you can't speak it at all, a translation app is essential!

高所やジェットコースター等が好きな人でちょっと怖い、、って思ってる方
絶対経験した方がいいです！　降りる時は下が見えないし怖くないですよ〜　
風圧が強いのでうぅ"ってなる時間もありますが一瞬です！
綺麗な景色をゆっくり、たまーにジェットコースターみたいなビューーンを体験できます！
動画や写真も撮って貰えるプランだと自分も見て楽しめるし布教もしやすいですよ。
日本語はほぼ通じないので全く話せない人は翻訳アプリ必須です！

It was a blast, felt like a well oiled operation. Highly recommend the picture package the free fall goes by so fast that you’d want to have the pictures / videos to remember your experience.

At first, I was nervous, but the moment I jumped, all of that disappeared. If I could jump again, I would want to do it right now! For those who are hesitating, you absolutely should do it. It will change your perspective on life!

There were a lot of people, so the start was delayed. However, once the preparations began, everything moved quickly, and we soon transferred into the helicopter. The instructor was very considerate, which was great. I felt a moment of fear just before the dive, but during the fall, it was exhilarating. It was an amazing experience!

人数が多かったのかスタートが遅かったです。
でも、準備が始まってからは一気にことご進んであっという間にヘリの中に移動。
インストラクターがすごく気を遣ってくれてよかったです。
ダイブする瞬間だけ恐怖を感じましたが落ちてる最中はうおーって感じでした。
とても素晴らしい体験でした！

I had an absolutely amazing experience. The person who flew with me was wonderful, providing explanations in Japanese here and there and easing my nerves with their warm support. Additionally, they took many photos, which was another highlight for me. The view of Diamond Head and Waikiki from the sky was truly breathtaking and has become an unforgettable memory for a lifetime.

とても最高な経験をすることができました。一緒に飛んでくださった方がとても素敵な方で、ところどころ説明を日本語でしてくださったり、緊張をほぐしてくださったりと、心温まる対応をしてくださいました。
また、たくさんの写真も撮っていただき、それも大満足のポイントです。空から眺めるダイヤモンドヘッドやワイキキの景色は、本当に息をのむほど美しく、一生忘れられない思い出となりました。

It was my first time doing skydiving and going to Hawaii, but thanks to the amazing instructor, I was able to create wonderful memories. Each instructor had a slightly different way of taking photos and communicating, which was very interesting.

スカイダイビングをやるのもハワイに行くのも初めてでしたが、最高のインストラクターさんのおかげで素敵な思い出を作ることができました。
インストラクター毎に撮影や話し方が少しずつ違っており、とても面白かったです。

I went alone, but I enjoyed it to some extent. However, there was a bit of time before the jump, and I had no one to talk to, so I was bored. The pre-jump explanation lasted about 30 seconds, but I managed to jump and I'm alive. It probably depends on your partner. Please be careful about drooling during free fall. I understood why the tandem instructors were wearing full-face helmets after it was over.

1人で行きましたが　それなりに楽しめました。
ただ飛ぶまでの間、少し時間があるのですが話し相手もおらず暇でした。
事前の説明は30秒ほどで終わりましたが無事に飛べたし生きています。
一緒に飛ぶパートナーによると思います。
フリーフォール中はよだれの飛散に気をつけてください。
一緒に飛ぶトレーなナーたちがフルフェイスのヘルメットをつけている理由が終わった後に理解できました。

In no time, we were above the clouds.
The view from the airplane has a different kind of impact. 😭
As the divers were pushed out one after another, it was finally my turn...
There was no time to be scared as I dove into the air! ❗
Once you fall, the fear disappears, and you can enjoy it. 😅
It's an experience you won't regret having at least once in your life!

I was scared at first, but once I dove in, I was amazed by the beauty of the ocean and the unknown world! It was an incredible experience!

怖さがありましたが、いざダイブすると、海のキレイさに感動し、未知の世界が！　貴重な体験をすることができてサイコーでした！

Everyone was very friendly, and we easily overcame the language barrier! The transportation with pick-up service was reassuring. The scenery was incredibly beautiful and it was the best!

とてもフレンドリーで言語の壁もなんなく乗り越えられました！

My friend, who can't ride roller coasters, seemed anxious until the end, but once it was over, they were very satisfied and glad they did it!

In mid-February, I went to Hawaii and signed up for skydiving! It was scheduled for the second day, but that day was canceled due to strong winds and rain in the forecast. The local staff called me in advance, and since I'm not very good at English, I could only understand bits and pieces. However, they asked if they could communicate via email, which allowed me to change the date!

Although there were no staff members who spoke Japanese, I managed to get by with my smartphone, so it was okay! I think I could understand the nuances of what they were saying, so I felt fine! I was alone, but I received a lot of help from a Korean participant in the tour, so I believe that as long as you help each other with the people around you, you'll be fine!

The sensation of diving into the blue of the ocean and the blue of the sky was incredibly exhilarating, and I felt no fear at all! Even after the parachute opened, they guided me to see the scenery, creating an unforgettable memory!

2月の中旬にハワイにいってスカイダイビングを申し込みしました！
2日目に行う予定だったのですがその日は風も強く雨の予報で中止でした。
事前に現地のスタッフさんが電話をしてくれて、私は英語はあまり得意じゃないので何となくでしか理解出来ませんでした。でも、メールで送る？と伝えてくれたのでメールでコミニュケーションをとることができ日にちを変更できました！
現地のスタッフさんは日本語を話せる方はいなかったのですがスマホがあればなんとかなります笑
ニュアンスでも言ってることは理解できるので大丈夫だと思います！
私は1人だったのですが他のツアー参加者の韓国人の方に色々助けられどうにかなりましたので、その場でいる人で助け合えば大丈夫です！

海の青と空の青にダイブする感覚は最高に気持ちよくて、恐怖心とかは一切なかったです！
パラシュートひらいてからも景色がみえるよう誘導してくれて、一生忘れられない思い出になりました！

Last time, we were not fortunate with the weather and our English skills, so this time we approached it with four family members. We were able to experience a dream that we had for five years. After 71 years of living, it was the best attraction, and we were extremely satisfied.

前回は天候と英語力に恵まれなかった為、それを踏まえて今回は家族4名で臨みました。５年越しの夢の体験ができました。７１年生きてきて最高のアトラクションで
大満足出来ました。

It was my first challenge, but I had a great time. I decided to include videos and photos, and that was definitely the right choice. They took a lot of pictures from departure to landing; I think there were about 300. Each one was a best shot, and it was fun to review them. The video was also edited very well, and I was surprised by the quality. It was difficult to lift my face right after jumping, so I regret that I was looking down the whole time in the video.

出発から着地までたくさん写真を撮っていただきました。300枚ほどあったと思います。どれもベストショットで確認するのが楽しかったです。動画もすごく上手に編集されていてクオリティに驚きました。飛んですぐ顔をあげるのが難しく、動画もずっと下を向いてしまっていたのでそこだけ後悔です。

I want to fly in the sky like a bird! I think everyone has thought about this when they were little. This active experience became a wonderful memory for me. I have a fear of heights, and this time I faced real fear and ventured into the unknown. It's difficult to express in words, but it's the best attraction.

鳥の様に空を飛びたい！小さい頃、誰もが思った事が有ると思います、このアクティブな体験は私の中で素晴らしい経験になりました、私は高所恐怖症です、今回本物の恐怖と向かいあって未知の領域に行って来ました、言葉で上手く言い表わす事は難しいですが最高のアトラクションです。

My 79-year-old mother suddenly said she wanted to try it, and while I was a bit worried, I thought we could just stop if it didn't go well, so I joined her. She said it was a lot of fun with no problems at all, and she was excitedly talking about it even after we returned home. She wants to do it again. The Japanese staff member was very kind.

79歳になる母が突然やりたいと言い、大丈夫？と思いつつ現地行ってダメならやめればいいやくらいの感じで一緒に参加しました。
全く問題なくとても楽しかったそうで、帰国してからも興奮しながら話していました。
またやりたいそうです。
日本人スタッフのお姉さんがとても親切でした。

It was a perfect skydiving experience on a clear day. This time, I requested the photo and video option, so I was able to share the excitement with my family, making it the best activity.

快晴で最高のスカイダイビングでした。
今回、写真ビデオのオプションをお願いしましたので、家族とも臨場感を共有できて最高のアクティビティでした。

The pick-up, reception, explanation, and execution were all smooth and helpful! There are also people who speak Japanese, so Japanese visitors can feel at ease! The divers were friendly, and I was very satisfied!

Jay was an excellent host and guide. He shared so many interesting things about the aircraft, Hawaii, and the area we were flying over. Jay also has a keen eye for spotting wildlife. Thanks to him, I got to see turtles, and monk seals! I’m really glad I signed up for this experience.

First of all, I was very grateful for the round-trip shuttle service to and from the hotel.

Now, regarding the skydiving, the process goes as follows:
1. Sign the waiver (iPad)
2. Weight measurement and payment of the fuel surcharge ($15)
* At this point, they will explain the following optional upgrades in English, but if you don't want to change anything, just say "No."
- Upgrade for photography
- Change in drop altitude
3. Meet your buddy and receive safety instructions
4. Time to dive into the sky!

The drop is very much a streamlined process. There’s no time to hesitate, so if you’re not ready for it, it might be best to skip it.

For those who are still interested, the dive into the sky feels amazing, and you can see the beautiful scenery of Hawaii. It will undoubtedly be the best experience of your life.

　　・落下高度の変更
③バディとの対面、注意点等の説明
④いざ空へダイブ！

落下はとにかく流れ作業です。
躊躇している暇がないので、覚悟がない方は辞めておくほうが吉かと思います。

それでも興味のある方へ
空へのダイブはとても気持ち良く、ハワイの素晴らしい景色を見ることができます。
間違いなく人生最高の体験になるはずです。

I experienced it for the first time in the summer, and I couldn't forget the excitement from that time, so I made another reservation. I'm not good with heights, but once I went above the clouds, the beautiful scenery and thrill made me forget about my fear of heights. I wanted to experience it at least once in my life, and after trying it last time, it was such a wonderful experience that I want to do it again.

夏に初めて体験したのですが、その時の感動が忘れられずまた予約しました。高所が苦手ですが、雲より上にいってしまうと綺麗な景色と興奮で高さの怖さはあまりなかったです。人生で一度は体験したいと思って前回やってみましたが、またやりたくなるほど素晴らしい経験でした。

My experience during my previous visit was so wonderful that this was my second time. It's difficult to communicate unless you have at least a basic understanding of English, but there are Japanese staff members on-site.

At the beginning, you have to sign various waivers on a machine, but you can easily manage with Google Translate. I went alone both times without knowing much English, and I managed just fine.

One thing that caught my attention was that there are different height plans. I happened to become friends with a Japanese person on the same flight, and it seemed they had a different height plan, but we took off from the same place at the same time. I don't really understand feet, so I'm not sure how that works in practice.

Still, the experience itself is something I think everyone should try at least once in their life. The support from the person flying with you was perfect. I will definitely use this service again.

以前来た時の体験が素晴らし過ぎて今回2回目の体験でした。
基本英語がなんとなくわかる人でないとコミュニケーションが難しいですが、一応現地に日本語スタッフの方はいます。
最初に機械で色々と誓約書にサインなどがありますが、google翻訳で余裕でいけます。
僕は英語はほとんどわからないまま、2回とも１人で行きました。なんとかなります。

1点気になったのは、高さのプランがありますがたまたま同じ便だった日本人の方と仲良くなり、その方は他の高さのプランだったようですが、同時に同じところから飛びました。
そもそもフィートの感覚がわからないので実際どうなのか？

それでも体験自体は人生で1度は体験して欲しいぐらい最高です。
一緒に飛んでくれる方のサポートも完璧でした。
必ずまた利用させてもらいます。
